This place does not give as much meat as San Angelo Chipotle. The bowl is not even 1/2 full and it has rice peppers and cheese too. I had to ask if there was meat because I couldn’t see a lot of it. Get rid of the flat spoons and get proper measuring cup ladles. I think I’m not going to come back.

I’m so bummed. I’m pregnant and was craving Chipotle so I ordered in UberEats. I specifically asked for black beans and didn’t get any. I realized too late, when I was already digging in and wondered why it didn’t taste great. ☹️ it wouldn’t be such a big deal but I’m pregnant and was dying for this !

My order was made fresh and exactly how I requested it, which I always appreciate from Chipotle. The food quality was solid, and everything tasted as expected—no complaints there. The only issue was when I arrived to pick up my online order, it wasn’t in the designated pickup area. I had to flag down a staff member, which took a bit since they were clearly busy with in-store orders. It was a slight inconvenience, but once I got their attention, they remade my order quickly and without hesitation. Overall, a decent experience with good food and courteous staff—just expect some wait time if you need assistance during a rush.

1 Star (Really -1 if I could) Date of Visit: May 18, 2024 – Just Before Closing I’m a truck driver and was parked in Midland, TX for the night. My girlfriend flew in from Florida, and since neither of us had eaten all day, I wanted to treat her to dinner. We ordered through Uber Eats: a burrito bowl for me and a salad bowl for her , both with double steak. First, we never received our drinks. Second, the portion size of the salad bowl was completely unacceptable , barely filled and an insult for what we paid. It felt like we were being disrespected as customers, especially considering it’s our money that keeps your doors open. When I tried calling the store, they were already closed, and I was redirected to automated support. I contacted Uber Eats with a photo and requested a refund due to the poor portion. They refused. But here’s the worst part: at 3 AM, my girlfriend woke up in excruciating pain from food poisoning , vomiting and sick from both ends. This wasn’t just bad service; this was a serious food safety issue. I reported the incident to Uber Eats’ food safety team, and they opened an investigation into this location. To say I’m disappointed is an understatement. I’ve been a loyal Chipotle customer since around 2012, and I’ve never experienced anything like this. But this experience may very well be our last. Avoid this location at all costs. It’s highway robbery , and a health hazard. I am very disappointed as I’ve been going to Chipotle for many years , since 2012 or so, and have never had this experience, it may just be OUR last . This is the worst thing I've seen in a restaurant, much less, a Chipotle. I came in yesterday 12/7/24 to get a late lunch. (2:40pm) It was probably as dirty in this Chipotle as I've ever seen it. Every single table had trash, and almost every inch of the floor there was visible dirt and food. In the almost 50+ mins I was in there, I didn't see one employee clean one single part of the dining area. They were not excessively busy or understaffed. A gentleman at the end of the long barstool table near the entrance, unfortunately, was sick and vomited in the walkway. The staff at the register were informed within 2 minutes or less. After about four customers walked through the sick and were tracking it into the line to order. I tried to wave them around, but to little effect. So, with the help of one of the neighboring tables, I barricaded part of the entrance and the entire beginning of the line. After about 10-15 minutes of waving people around the spillage, I began to wonder how long it would take for someone to clean this up. Seeing as not one single employee had come to even look at the mess, I began to be a bit more concerned. I decided to set a timer and wait and see if they even cared enough to come look at the bio and fire hazard. After about 35 minutes, one employee walked to the bathroom, then over to the mess, looked it over, and proceeded to exit through the side door. After another 20 minutes, I left disgusted. For all I know, it still has not been cleaned up. They were fine with having vomit tracked over every part of their floor by every unwitting customer for the rest of the day. It was unbelievably concerning and gross. You have to wonder what other health standards and basic cleanliness are not being followed in the back. It takes a lot for me to write a bad review. Literally, the previous time, I was in this Chipotle, I ordered a burrito with double meat and I only was able to get through about 1/3 of it and had to throw away the rest, because the rice was so undercooked, it was crunchy. Now that I’m here, I'll list some of the other main problems. I've never seen a Chipotle have more issues. For months, this Chipotle has had no ice in the machine and / or the fountain out of service. (I'm pretty sure no one wants to just bring the ice from the back) They often don't bother to make the tea. They're not often filling the other non soda drink machine up. So there's just always something that's not made or not right. The water itself tastes funky. I think it's straight Midland tap water…. This place needs to be inspected.

I had a pleasant experience on a Saturday at 4:20 pm. It was quite busy but the line moved quickly. We dined in and chose a dirty table. I used a Lysol wipe from my purse to clean the table. The wipe was filthy! It was black with dirt and food particles. I will definitely wipe down my table at this restaurant from now on. My husband tried the honey chipotle chicken. He felt it was good and would order it again. I had my usual and it was…the usual.

I placed an online order and it was completely wrong. I received a code to replace it with a free order, but the second order was even worse—and it even had a hair in it. This is, without a doubt, the worst Chipotle location I’ve ever experienced. It feels like no one is running that place properly. Someone seriously needs to take control of that restaurant. I am really reminded why I hate coming to this Chipotle. Everyone once in awhile I thing 'hey let's get some semi healthy fast food' and think Chipotle. Then I remember why I never come here. Servers act like they could really care less, food quality is horrible and overall just blah experience. Asked for a bowl, some reason just gave me a burrito, asked for dog me meat, got charged dog me but served single, then requested queso and chip were tossed in the counter. Chipotle is just always a horrible experience and there prices are way over priced for food quality and quantity. Avoid this place at all cost.

This chipotle sucks!!! They are always missing food, today it was beans and lettuce. Last week their soda machine was done. Last month they didn't have tortillas, rice, meat, or lettuce. They need to get their crap together.

Apparently staff can't read, I have given this location several chances and they orders are never correct. In the Permian Basin the only location worth going to is Odessa.

I've been to this location about four times. Too inconsistent with regards to service quality along with portions. I never get the same serving of rice, beans, or protein. Most recently I ordered a double serving of protein with my bowl and was not impressed. Additionally the steak was chewy, the barbacoa was lacking flavor and this past Friday they ran out of steak! It's a fast food restaurant, there is no ambiance to speak of. This location needs to get it together. I wish Freebirds was still here in Midland.

I should preface this review with I love chipotle. This location is always nasty, from the drink station, to the bathrooms, to the kitchen. We walked in last night and it was just exceptionally gross this time. As I waited in line my husband went to the restroom and came out saying the restroom is gross and has no soap. If the employees are using this restroom and then going to cook your food..... No, thanks, I'm done coming here.

I used to love this place, but I'm just fed up with it. Less food for the same price or higher. I came today and asked for the hot salsa that is not red and doesn't taste the same as the old one, in a queso bowl and the lady said I can't have any in that type of bowl, I'm thinking I'm paying for it, charge me and I've been doing that for years and now you can't!!! No ice in machines and low organic drinks all the time. Just terrible place now!!!

Ok, so I tried chipotle again because I got a Buy One Get One Free coupon from the library... Total disappointment once again. (I actually had forgotten I had reviewed this place previously when I went to review it after this time.( We got a a burrito bowl and a salad. The chicken was SO GROSS AGAIN! It was all chewy and globby/fatty with tendons. There was one piece that I bit into in which I heard a "crunch" and felt pain in my tooth. I pray to God that it was the chicken that crunched and not a root fracture of my tooth. (If my tooth turns gray, we'll know.) It was just so nasty! I ended up picking it all out. Having never gotten a salad here, I know why I won't order one again... I was still hungry after eating it. Yup- totally forgot that we've eaten here before and had another disappointing visit. I'm done with this Midland Chipotle.

This chipotle needs quality control ASAP. 6pm on a Tuesday and they are out of EVERYTHING (beans, queso, guacamole, chicken, a few other things I don't remember) so I put together a bare bones taco, basically paid 13$ for a scoop of rice and some vegetables. Got chips too since they were out of everything else, and the chips have NO salt NO lime. Just plain tasteless corn chips. Such a complete waste of money and time. You're the only one in town; do better

You should teach your line crew to have a better attitude and try listening to the customer. The person waiting on me clearly hates her job. Before I could even look at my options (I don't go to Chipotle that often) she was trying to slap huge spoonfuls of food into my bowl. The guy standing in front of me wouldn't move up so I couldn't actually see what she was offering and it obviously irritated her that she had to wait literally 10 seconds so I could move up and look at my options, I told her I wanted a small amount of sour cream and I got about 1/2 a cup. I won't be back to Midland location.

I really hate to give anyone a bad rating, but this weekend we went in to enjoy some chipotle, and the line was almost out the door, which means the food is great. But it must be exhausting for the workers because when we get up to start ordering, the young lady making our order started acting like she really did not want to be there, and we were bothering her. She was huffing and scoffing every time we asked for a topping.. she started rolling her eyes like she was having to go out of her way. I refuse to give my business to someone who acts like I am bothering them by ordering food.!

It's crazy how this place don't know the difference between chicken and steak, I also find it funny how the hottest thing in my meal was my soda. My burrito bowl was leaking, has next to no rice in it. Queso is a cold solid block..... completely disappointing experience all around

When I got home with this to-go order purchased through their app, over 1/2 the pork was just a solid clump of fat wad. They must unload the worthless scraps on the to-go orders because it's more trouble for people to return it. Plus, they make you touch your face at the door to mask. If these Communists have their way, we will all be eating nothing but scraps.

I was in town to visit family and stopped in to get a bowl for dinner. The staff was very unfriendly and acted like it was an inconvenience to even wait on me. The food did not look appetizing but I was starving so ordered my food any way. The food turned out to taste horrible and inedible. I took it back the next day for a refund however I couldn't find my receipt so they wouldn't refund my money even though they are the only chipotle around. Worst Chipotle I've ever visited.

This place is literally trash. From horrible customer service to horrible store cleanliness to horrible food quality. I went a couple days ago and had the rudest person making my bowl with an attitude for no reason ? if you are so miserable working there then don't ! simple! I asked for extra protein and was ignored, then when I repeated myself she put the lid on my bowl and gave me extra protein in a little sauce cup, which I was charged $5 and some change for. Which made no sense with the amount of meat that was given. I called and was routed to a customer care representative and was given a buy one get one free entree, so we went back a couple days later to redeem the offer and this is definitely the last straw for us. We ordered two burrito bowls and a burrito to go. Upon coming home and sitting at the dining table to eat, I found a bug on my lettuce halfway through and was immediately disgusted, I called the store to let them know and returned to show them the piece of lettuce with bug on it, seeing the manager asked what kind of bug it was over the phone and immediately crumbled up the ziplock bag without inspecting it when I handed it to him and threw it in the trash right away, I thought that to be very rude as it could have been something toxic. I was given a refund but that did not solve the diarrhea I had immediately after returning home and how sickening I'm currently feeling. The place was so trashed with food all over the floor. Definitely the most grossest food store I've seen with rude customer service to accompany it. After 13 years of being my favorite, even with little disappointments here and there, this is definitely the last time for me.

My wife & I had the carne asada. Way too chewy & lots of gristle ( cheap meat quality). Crew was not friendly. But the biggest draw back is this place is not handicap friendly. No tables for people in wheelchairs etc, tight spaces as mentioned in a prior review, this place is a fast food joint & very expensive. 2 people $42. Ouch!! Mission Mexican restaurant is average $33 for 2 people and a lot better atmosphere.

The manager at Chipotle is the worst in Midland, Texas. I paid 44 dollars for dried-up tacos, a giant tortilla with two crumbles of chicken quesadillas!! I will never go to a CHIPOTLE RESTAURANT, ESPECIALLY IN MIDLAND!! The staff is horrible!! I do not recommend this restaurant!!

The food is really good when THEY AREN'T OUT OF EVERYTHING I LIKE!! Whenever we go to the Midland, TX location on Loop 250, they are invariably out of something like guacamole, taco shells, mild salsa or the chicken will take 30+ mins to be replenished. This is a crappy way to run a restaurant!! Seems to me the mgmt staff needs to get a refresher course in keeping the food coming especially during peak times. And I don't believe the sorry excuse of supply chain problems. Other restaurants in town seem to be able to keep the food in stock when they have a rush at mealtimes. On a scale of 1-10, I give this place a good solid 2.

Waited in a line for 10 minutes or longer to get told that it would be 15 minutes for chicken or steak. How do you run out of both chicken and steak? After 20 minutes chicken was ready, but it will be "maybe anther 5 minutes" for steak. I needed both and faced having to wait undetermined amount of time and possibly be out of chicken or eat cold chicken when the steak was done. There were at least 6 people waiting for chicken or steak. I had to leave without any food and go across the parking lot to eat elsewhere.

Listen people, watch out for Mathew he overcharge us for our food then insisted he was right. These people are scamm artists. Someone has taught him well on this matter. Keep a close eye on what they charge you for because you don't know until you pay and get your receipt.

We've officially given this location 3 chances. Rice has been undercooked and crunchy all 3 times. Customer service is tragic... workers with masks around their chins, attitude for no reason slamming stuff and spilling food all over the place, sighing and scoffing as if you were inconveniencing them by being there. While they talk about healthy organic meat, my chicken burrito had raw pieces of chicken in it. The long lines and fast pace atmosphere have created a half assed approached to cooking in an effort to meet the high demand of their products. There food is average at best. In a city filled with authentic Mexican food, not the best place to to eat.

Well against better judgement we ate at Chipotle in Midland Texas at 11:00 am on January 23, 2019 and by 7 pm full blown case of food poisoning! It was terrible and cost both of us a day of recovery and still pounding head and working up the courage to have a cracker. One missed flight one missed day sure was an expensive lunch. Good bye Chipotle... forever!

Walked in happy to get a burrito I hadn't had in a while. Walked to the front stood there about 2 minutes no other customer was in the restaurant. Four employees at the front but just looked and decided it was easier to ignore a customer. Tried to get their attention and was just ignored. Forget Chipotle from now on!!

Why bother writing another review for Chipotle? Just for the sake of writing another review. It's everything you want and expect from Chipotle. Not sure if you'll get the same service but I was lucky that (1) no long line and (2) they gave ridiculously large portion sizes. Not having to order double chicken is like winning the jackpot. Amongst Chipotle restaurants, this location exceeded my usual expectation.

Okay, I'm sitting in this Chipotle right now. I drove two hours just to eat this veggie burrito bowl. I moved to San Angelo from a place where all food is everywhere (oh, hey New York City). I'm not used to being deprived of... anything. But the Air Force told me I have to move to a Chipotle-less town in West Texas. At first, I was fine. I said, "Sure, Freebirds isn't as good as Chipotle, but they're just different. Freebirds will suffice." Oh, how wrong I was. As the weeks went on, I realized after multiple trips to Freebirds, my burrito bowl fix just wasn't happening. My needs grew stronger, and I knew this Chipotle lie here in Midland, a 2-hour drive away. Finally, I got in the car and drove. I rejoiced when I saw the storefront after the long drive. When I got inside, I couldn't help but smile like a psycho as I ordered my burrito bowl. I couldn't stop myself from shouting, "I DROVE TWO HOURS FOR THIS MOMENT." Every employee working the line was shocked and stuffed my burrito bowl till it was overflowing. No, I could never finish it, but that isn't the point. Then I got to the cash register, and it was already paid for. PLUS THIS BURRITO BOWL IS DELICIOUS AND I'M IN HEAVEN. Small victories for this Airman from NYC.

You can never go wrong with chipotle! I usually have a great experience but today the lady that was making my bowl couldn't hear what I was saying for some odd reason. I'd tell her white rice, she would ask brown. I said pento beans, she gave me black beans. I said Barbacoa, she said chicken. I said mild she gave me medium. She was extremely quick to put everything in my bowl that I couldn't correct her before she slapped it in the bowl. When I told her my bowl was wrong, she insisted that's what I said. 3 things wrong in a bowl I always get, never change anything. I definitely know it was not me. Instead of arguing with her, I took my bowl and left. Idk what is up with the employees but if you don't like your job, find another one. Poor attitudes make it a bad experience for the customers. I'll definitely get chipotle again (it's my favorite) but if it comes with another bad attitude employee, it will probably be my last visit at this midland location.

Always a nice experience when I visit here. At times I feel like they are stingy with the guacamole, however after mentioning it to the management they fix that right away! Clean, friendly, and speedy service! It's gotten to the point where the servers recognize me. Pretty tasty TexMex!

This is the WORST Chipotle I have ever been to! The line moved TERRIBLY slow, my burrito was significantly under-portioned, they put about THREE little drops of sour cream, the white AND brown rice had WAY too much lime juice, the chips we ordered were completely stale and there were CHUNKS of salt crystals on the chips! They were not even worth eating when we got back to our hotel room with our food. I won't ever go to this location again.

If you're reading this, take a minute and revalue your priorities. This is Chipoltle. You know what's it's about: pick a meat, pick veggies, pick sauce and stuff your face lol. I'll give you a tip, if you asked for mixed options you'll get a bigger burrito: bowl vs burrito. Mix chicken and steak. Mix brown and white rice. Lol. That said, now feel confident about eating here and actually go for the tofu option (sofritas) it's spicy and actually tastes amazing. Ok, we're done now lol

Waiting outside right now for my food that was supposed to be ready 20 minutes ago. I ordered online, this already paid. There are 13 people outside doing the same thing. There is no one in line on the inside. So I could have gotten in line 20 minutes ago and been back at work by now. This place is so disorganized. When I finally get my food, I would bet $100 I won't have my drink or a fork or a napkin. This is the last time I am coming here. I have given them too many chances.
