Chipotle Mexican Grill

I recently had a very disappointing experience at Chipotle. The restaurant was busy, which I understand, but the staff was incredibly rude and unhelpful. I was trying to figure out which of the bags was mine, and when I asked a staff member for help, she just pushed my bag toward me without saying a word. No one acknowledged my “hello,” and the overall attitude from the staff was far from welcoming. On top of that, the portion sizes were shockingly small. I ordered barbacoa beef, which is more expensive than the other proteins, yet I received a ridiculously tiny portion. To make matters worse, the food was cold—rice, beans, and steak weren’t even warm. I barely got halfway through the bowl before I realized the steak was already gone. For the price I paid, this was just unacceptable. The quality and portions at Chipotle have really gone downhill, and it’s extremely disappointing. I don’t know what I’m paying for anymore, but it certainly isn’t worth it. Will be rethinking coming back.

I went today to pick up chipotle after not getting it for months and it was horrible. There was a straight black hair in my food, definitely not mine I have curly purple hair. Completely disgusting. Couldn’t even eat after because I found the hair as I was chewing. Never going back to the chipotle ever again.

Great product, made fresh on the premises daily. I had the chicken barbacoa and was impressed with the freshness of the ingredients. Very good assistance from the staff. This is perhaps the smallest Chipotle in New York City. It literally seats about 10 people at short counters.

I feel like this is the only chipotle that 1. Serves FULL BOWLS 2. Cooks the Barbacoa so well! It is definitely busy from like 12-2pm during lunch time but still a great chipotle

I’ve had to walk out mid order from this chipotle several times lately. The staff actively try to put as little food in the bowls as possible all while raising prices. Food is well prepared, but if they try to scam you, you should reconsider paying for 3/4 if the food you’re paying for

1.) Service- I have worked in the fast food industry and I am much more understanding than other customers bc I know what it's like to be on the other side of the glass...but the service was sooo bad. First off what service? I felt rushed the entire time and I forgot one of my toppings bc of how rushed I felt. When serving the guy before me the server was just barely throwing the food Into the bowl...very messy. That almost made me walk out but I decided to just stay and get a kids meal. But then guess what? No kids meal bowls...usually that's okay but this isn't the first time that's happened. So I got a regular bowl and again felt rushed. Being nice doesn't take time but being impatient and rushy loses customers. Management do better. Also no forks so I had to go pay for one at another restaurant. 2.) When I suggested to the cashier they should do things a bit different and be a bit more hospitable she said that she isn't like that so there's nothing she can do since she isn't the manager...so I suggested to tell the manager and she said the manager wants them to go fast... okay so fine go fast and then lose the customers??? 3.) The portion for the price....unacceptable. I will not be returning to this location they aren't the only 1 in the area. Also I'd like to add that this managements fault. Don't blame the employee, train the employee. As I read through the reviews this seems like a recurring problem of unpleasant encounters at your store. Management needs to do better.

Cashier Jamileth charged me double brisket when I clearly asked and you can see the double steak. Done on purpose. Had to get refund and they don’t know what they’re doing. The money adds up and they charge extra for no reason.

This location is in close proximity to school so I go there every now and then even though I’m about to stop completely! Every time I order a burrito I pay a different price! WHY!!!??????? same thing when I order a bowl as well. What is that about Greenwich Street chipotle!!??? And I must say every single time I go here the staff is unpleasant. Their face is always so miserable and unwelcoming. Also, they don’t greet their customers at all. They just stand there and stare at you until you say something. They also give you nasty looks. At first I didn’t really think anything of it . Maybe they’re tired or have something personal going on. But the repetitive ugly behavior is starting to feel personal as I receive the same experience from all the workers that have ever served me. They are also very slow even when the line is so long going through the door. And as you can see they are messy. Food presentation is really a 0. You guys should really train your staff ASAP too.

I have always walked past this Chipotle in Tribeca observing from afar the line of people extending beyond the location's square footage.  Although purchases have been made at five ( 5 ) different Chipotle locations in both Brooklyn and Manhattan, the food received from this Tribeca location tasted GREAT!  Imagine a tortilla in a bowl (to ensure ALL sauces from your selections were absorbed directly into the tortilla) consisting of brown rice, black beans, guacamole, tomato salsa, corn, lettuce, and shredded cheese. The only thing missing was the offering of chicken (specifically chicken breast  -  white meat) as a protein.  Every bite was delicious especially with the guacamole encased from end to end.  I regret not asking for additional portions of guacamole and tomato salsa placed on the tortilla! My Chipotle purchase was accompanied with a silky creamy mango lassi from A Saffron Thread located on Chambers Street, which took this food experience to ANOTHER LEVEL.  Unfortunately, there were no leftovers because everything was eaten, completely filling, and unbelievably healthy to a certain extent.

Worst place to get chipotle. I ordered a Burrito Bowl and Quesadilla from this place online. I asked for utensils on the app. When I arrived to the Chipotle, the place was messy and tables were dirty, no utensils and sauces were there, it was empty. When I received my order I went outdoors to enjoy my food, just to find out there aren't any utensils. I went back to chipotle to get their last fork because they had no spoons and didn't restock on anything for the customers. I went back out to enjoy my food and then again just to find out there was no guacamole on my burrito bowl. This is just unacceptable. I paid extra for guacamole just to not have it on my bowl. I'm never coming here again. This chipotle is just disappointing. Day ruined.

Very disappointing. Stopped by the Chipotle at 275 Greenwich St at around 8:30pm on a weekday evening and although it is supposedly open until 11pm, you can tell the employees did not want to be there anymore. Some were already cleaning up and menu items were running out and there was no interest in making more (except there was some chicken on the grill). They had run out of beef and we got the last of the carnitas. They even ran out of chips and guacamole (yes, a Chipotle with no chips or guacamole!) Will go to the nearby Dos Toros in the future.

Customer service experience is so horrible at this location. The female at the pickup station, is the worst to have connecting directly to patrons. She seems to have the worst attitude; always upset, unprofessional and dismissive. And hardly any eye contact or gives a welcome greeting. Also at recent visit, the drink dispenser machine apparently was not working and only the regular Coca Cola seemed to be working. I wanted tea, but due to poor customer service there, I preferred to avoid further interaction, although it is their job to provide. The other dispensers were just giving water. And there was no ice either. Also place doesn't have a clean ambiance and just feels chaotic.

This would make for the perfect Undercover Boss episode. The CEO of Chipotle needs to visit this location. At this point, I'd suggest just removing the quesadilla from the menu altogether. They push you to order online for a normal-sized quesadilla and seem irritated if you want one. Avoid ordering a quesadilla unless you want major negative vibes thrown your way. Anyway, my sister finally agreed to order a kids' quesadilla. She couldn't add tomato, whatever.. we had also planned to share some guacamole, which I was really looking forward to diving into. When we got back, they gave her this chip bag with our guac?. They claimed it came with the order, but she had two quesadillas. She should have at least got 2 bags if that was the case? Never have I gotten a chip bag so small. I didn't even know they made that small of bags.. I've visited Chipotles around the world and had a consistent experience--until now.

Absolute worst Chipotle location I've ever been to. The service/employees are terrible and do not even try to have a good attitude or even give you what you want. Also quality control here is awful. They need to shut this location down or bring in whole new management because the current employees give Chipotle a bad reputation.

The food was good but the skimping was real bad. I had asked for EXTRA of each item and the employee continued to put the regular amount. Will not be going back to this location and will go to other locations.

Absolutely the worst place to eat. the worst workers and worst service you could find in any chipotle went in to order the workers are extremely rude portions were so tiny had to keep asking to add more workers were having their own conversation in the back while you're there waiting to order they don't care about the customers

The workers are very rude. This one time I went to go get a bowl. I only had cash on me that is what I usually use. So I go in and wait in line for a minute and then I get to the cashier to pay a girl with red hair attended me and I take out my money and she said "Only card I have been saying this all day." with an ATTITUDE. Ma'am do you see me here all day? There was no such signs about only card. They have to be more organized its such a mess in there.

So had to see it for myself record them while making my food and they give you a better portion than when I was not recording them. $14 for a bowl that barely full , and small amount of protein. I get bigger portions at gyro kind and for $10 . It does not need for me to record you while u are serving my food for you to put a normal portion

Came all the way from Chicago to visit New York. Food was amazing. Super bad service sucks, especially from April and the girl that was working in the line with her as soon as you walk in the store, in April, keep talking abut constantly making fun . April counting telling her Friend funny things about the customers how they look how they walk how they talk She even made me feel uncomfortable.

Never experienced customer service like this before in any chipotle until this time at this location. The line was long and when it got to my turn, the service was too fast. I didn't even say what I wanted and the guy already started filling my bowl and knew I wanted a bowl. They are fast but then what got me pissed off was when it was my time to pay for the food. I swiped my credit card and it said the order was processed. Then the cashier said to reswipe again because it did not go through. Then I reswiped again at a lower price than the price I originally swiped for. I was like shit something is not right. Then I checked my credit card app and realized I paid for it twice and then asked for a refund and they said no. I was like wtf and they kept refusing to give me my refund. I was pissed off and just left. They're jerks because the guy in front of me also had to reswipe his credit card for the 2nd time but I don't think he complained. Not coming to this location anymore. I didn't even expect this in a chipotle. It's just weird and very sad.

Stay away from this location! Chicken was undercooked and i got very sick. The staff has always been unprofessional, they constantly have been out of ingredients, and then the undercooked chicken was the final straw, obviously.

This is has to be in the top % of worst chipotle's in the country. They're consistently out of ingredients and depressing vibe all around in there. Hope there's change ASAP given its location.

Food is good and the people are very hardworking and nice. But it is complete chaos here every time I go. The lines are very long and everyone seems to be running around and talking, but not really moving customers through. Oh and they're always out or forgot to make something. Also - ordering ahead means you'll wait for it to be made u Here is an update: came here and there was no air conditioning. These poor workers had to work in extreme temperatures. Management needs to pay these workers and give them a day off - because what they are doing to their employers are inhumane.

I work at the post office near this location and I always go for a pick up before 11am the food is always fresh the service is really good and fast and the place is always clean I don't know her name but she's blonde with some tattoos she is super nice always with a smile to everyone! I recommend this place to everyone

Service is deplorable (if really lucky you may get counter person or cashier that has some idea of food and hospitality industry rely on to stay sustainable). They often tell you a coupon or offer doesn't work. They even told me once they don't serve that item (drink) in the store. This one pretty much says it all.. asked for the vegetables (fajitas) on my bowl. They said they were out. I would accept that but it was the middle of the day! and the gal behind counter didn't even look nor ask anyone in back if there was any at all. Palin and simple - LAZY! I've had other similar incredible fetes of bad service from other counter people over the past few years and at different businesses. Maybe covid has caused a new crop of walking dead ? I don't remember if this place had a tip jar but I should have one for my patience and capitulation of accepting the individuals as dumb as rocks, lazy and wanting to be elsewhere physically, mentally and emotionally. I thought accepting a job offer was optional not a requirement.

If I could give this location no stars I would. I walked in when there was only one or two people in front of me and it was moving very slowly. By the time I got to the front I asked for a quesadilla and they insisted that I had to order a quesadilla online. I turned to them and said "But I'm right here" and they refused to walk to the other counter to make a quesadilla and insisted I had to order online. In this time an entire classroom full of students had come in behind me and I knew I would be absolutely last to be taken care of and they were already moving at a glacial pace. I cannot believe that showing up in person to order food does not constitute you ordering food. I will not be returning here

Bad service, which isn't a big deal it's chipotle. Little to no options. Out of every meat, out of avocado, etc.

WOW! This Chipotle experience was honestly so good! I know the other reviews are negative, but the lady who was making my XXXXL burrito was so nice and helpful. I ordered triple beans and had to use the restroom urgently. As one may guess, things got really messy. One worker came in and was kind enough to help me wipe my explosive diarrhea off the walls. I physically could not wipe it myself because it kept coming. I was ultimatly banned from this location, however I do not hold grudges and are very grateful for this worker! God bless y'all!

Not sanitary... for no reason at all the guy pushed my rice down With His Hand ... then used the same hand to take out his phone from his pocket and look at it. WTF I don't care if he was wearing gloves , he was touching his phone with the same gloves. Disgusting

I regularly go to this chipotle and at times the customer service is horrible, but other times it's ok. The Food isn't always good, the chicken and steak seem to always have a problem everytime I go. They make it taste like burnt. I've never dined in before but it looks like there is quite a bit of space despite it being a relatively small location. The only thing they need to work on is the food and the customer service. Most of the employees seem like they don't want to be there. The food is self explanatory, burnt protein ruins the entire meal for me.

This is the most stingiest Chipotle I've been to. Only 5 pieces of chicken and the manager always has a bad attitude. Black female short dark skin complexion.

For an establishment that closes at 11pm, there should be no reason there is no food at 9:30pm. No brown rice or corn and lettuce looked old. I literally had no options for my bowl so opted for a Guac and still got charged 3$. The service was quick, but a little too quick. I felt rushed even though I was the only one in the restaurant. The staff seemed very standoffish and the place seemed shut down. I get home, open my food and it's cold! I won't be coming here anymore!

The service in this place is horrendous! I can't believe they get away with it. How is this ok? This is the second time I go to this establishment and am treated less than human. I will never come back here again. Chipotle please do better hiring your associates. Terrible terrible terrible!

I live in this area and revolt at the thought of buying anything from this chipotle. The one time that I did decide to go, I was met with the rudest employees and stingiest of servings. Young staff they may not be experienced. However, that does not mean they should be rude. I know how hard it is to have these types of positions and I always like treating staff with respect with a high hello how you doing how's your day only to be met with rolling eyes, sucking her teeth Talk above you and try to brush you off easily. Could it possibly be that I've seen staff numerously getting high on their lunch breaks. Management if you want to call it that the young dark skin short thug I don't even know how to address them he she they or them it's almost as though she was recruited from the show orange is the new black. I couldn't care two cents for doing a review and I just wanted to read and see what the reviews for this location not surprised at all. Chipotle answer some of them but yet you have this many bad reviews. What are you actually doing chipotle to resolve this issue? ???????? what's extremely sad is the amount of food that gets thrown away at the end of the night becomes a Buffay for the neighborhood rats yet you wanna be extremely stingy to give these young students that are going to school right across the street or whoever your customer has an extra spoon of rice, peppers or whatever the damn serving as shame on you SHITPOLTLE!! Nope never ever again I hope the department of health comes and inspects. How unsanitary your conditions are you deserve to be shut down. Too bad there isn't a zero*for me to choose.

This place is unbelievably bad. I've had it several times and this was final straw. I ordered a burrito and I watched the lady spill out all the stuff inside my burrito and then wrap it back up with extra tin foil. She basically made a bowl inside tinfoil. 0/5 for this chipotle

I come to this chipotle a few times after my classes, it's literally alway chaos, they're always out of something, sometimes multiple things like corn salsa & guacamole. There's a server there who barely puts anything inside the plate, I don't know if it's because they're always behind on preparing foods but it feels like I'm not getting my money's worth because they can't keep up. Today I went in and the employees were chatting it up with their friends that were waiting online and the line got held up. I asked for guacamole, it took them 5 minutes to bring out the guacamole because they got distracted in the back & forgot. I love chipotle but this location need some serious help! The employees are nice & welcoming but the work ethic need improvement.

It seemed like they were training an employee, so the slow checkout was expected. However, the beans were hard, rice was hard and carnitas were watery and flavorless.

Awful service and may food sat there for 20 min behind the counter as I waited to get my food. Not sure how this location is still up and running. Workers were eating behind counter and just sitting around as there were 6 people waiting to pick up their food that was waiting to be boxed up.

Worst chipotle I've been to in years. Probably ever. The employee, while making my burrito, casually coughed multiple times with no mask Every time I went they are either chatting with someone in front the counter or didn't know how to wrap a burrito. Zero professionalism

Worst chipotle I have been to in the city!!!! Staff is aggressively rude and they haven't had forks for a week as well as water cups. Past 8pm there is basically no food left and no one is even making an effort to make more. Place is also an absolute mess inside. Will never be back to this location...maybe even chipotle

this place is a disgrace to the chipotle franchises. DO NOT EVER STEP FOOT IN HERE. my boyfriend lives across the street so I tend to go in frequently every single time they are missing multiple ingredients and so I literally walk all the way to chambers st instead. every time they say it's because the Chipotle it's almost closing, but let me know why it's 4 o'clock and I'm writing this review. chipotle closes at 10 PM. what the fuck is wrong w this place.

I've never written a Yelp review but after 25 times of coming to this chipotle I feel the need to let everyone it's the worst chipotle in the history of tacos. They have babies behind the counter, certain ingredients mixing into others at all times and get angrier and angrier after scooping each ingredient (most of the time the ingredient I don't want because they ran out of all the others). Oh and make sure you're ready to wait 45 minutes longer than the time given on your mobile pickup. Be better

UGH-100% Disappointing Everything. The employees were totally unfriendly w/blatantly rude attitudes-both the food preparer & cashier. I literally had to ask for more ingredients, as he barely put anything on my order, seemed completely bothered by my request & was completely unapologetic. He continued to barely put anything on the order. I have NEVER had issues with chipotle, typically it's the opposite and people are super friendly/generous. This store was so bad, I had to waste my time to write a review because people deserve better. I have worked in the industry. I am aware it's not the most rewarding job, so tend to give people a ton of slack, & I ALWAYS TIP on 'to-go' orders. This was so unpleasant & off putting, I definitely won't return. I left zero tip, which is a first. Thanks for a crappy experience.

No way this is a chipotle. Now nothing get me going more then shiting on bad chipotles, but this one takes the cake. The pepper and onions were shriveled up and old. The place opens at 12, and i was there at 12:05, no reason to be serving last nights peppers and onions when you got fresh ones on the grill. The portion of meat i got was like if the person scooping it was a share holder. This place really get chipotle there money, and the tortilla was stale, like really stale. I just finished my food. So if i have an episode, ill be back to upgrade this sweet ass 1 star review from ground zero.

Food is the same. The service is slow. This crew couldn't handle it if this spot was in a busier location. Waaaaay tooooo slooooooooow. They also get a C+ for burrito rolling. Nevertheless, the ingredients are still up to par and the restaurant is clean. It's not that I wouldn't come back here. I just wouldn't stop in when time is a factor.

Renovated location with a very small seating area, this Chipotle location gets crowded. Clean and spacious, I was very pleased with my meal as the chicken was excellent. The staff moved quickly & efficiently & I was in & out rather fast. I don't love the seating arrangement as it's doesn't allow many people to sit & enjoy their meal. I am happy to come here again later in the afternoon when it's less crowded & when I can take a seat.

The reviews are correct, this is the worst Chipotle I have ever been to. Its sad because I love Chipotle and this is the closest one to my home. You would think making a burrito bowl would be pretty straight forward, but the ratios are all off. Not only do they skimp on the protein but even the rice! Its like the employees get a bonus to short change you.

i'm gonna be honest, the food is constantly tasting over cooked and shit. the rice tastes like straight lemons were dumped into it.

Came in at late afternoon. The line went quickly and felt rushed. The amount was not generous enough. Toppings (lettuce, corn, cheese, beans, tomato, etc) was about half of scoop. I asked for more corn and lettuce, it didn't meet my request. Other chipotle areas have done better.

Like every other Chipotle, this one was just as crowded around the lunch time. The line moved quickly. After about 5-10 minutes, I was already at the counter. I got a chicken salad with black beans, fajita veggies, both sauces, cheese, corn, and salsa. Not sure if that's the new thing, I didn't get the salad dressing. Personally, I didn't think it was necessary anyway. Cashiers were very nice. Asked me how I was doing and said to me have a nice day afterwards, which I didn't expect from a Chipotle because normally they were so busy to say extra words.

This place is constantly closing for upgrades and construction and they don't really give it's customers any heads up on that. You can order the food online and it would be ready to pickup for the time you set it for. I really recommend this way since it saves time. During lunch time the line can be very long and at times lead outside the door. One issue I have (and this seems true to most Chipotle that I've been to) is that they skim a lot of food that you should be getting and are quick to say that it's extra.

Never have Utensils stocked up , employees always on their phones so it's hard to ask them questions And never have online pickup orders ready and then complain when your on time to pick it up

Well, because of the popularity in this location between 12-2.. you will almost never find this place empty. However, gooooOood news! The lines go by soooo fast. Also, Chipotle offers pick up when ordering on the app(not sure if this location does so though). Anyways, fast, efficient service. Someone cleans the tables as fast as they can when a spot opens up. The food area is clean and the cashier is very attentive. Besides the long lines, not much to complain about ! Just your average chipotle with delicious overpriced burritos/salads/bowls. P.S: Guac is extra but sOoOo worth it. MmMmmm

Horrible food. The beans are hard every single time I go here. The guac is barely fresh. The rice tastes like they dumped a big bottle of lemon juice in it. The lettuce isn't always fresh. Imagine the food quality being so poor, and the wait time in line is 15-30 mins. The workers don't want to give extra rice when asked, which is good because it doesn't even taste good anyways. Please save your time and money and order elsewhere. This was my last time going here. They either need to shut down this location or hire new workers to do their job right. Not to mention the attitude of the people who CHOSE to work there.

Came here around noon today which would have been their busiest time but only to find them closed. It said they'll reopen at 3pm. Came back at 3pm find a long long but it was still closed. After 10 minutes or so a girl came out and said they would be ready for another hour. You can see some employees working hard and some just hanging around, playing with their phones, and just staring and laughing at you through the window. This has always been one of the worst chipotles in my book. I only come here because it's by my office. The portions are never consistent. They are very cheap on the ingredients, always seem annoyed, and not friendly. I'd suggest the chipotle in flatiron, much better customer service.

The food was decent, I actually enjoyed the chicken here more than those in other stores because it was grilled nicely, not raw or burnt. The people working there were nice too. The only drawback was that the place ran out of some essential ingredients like white rice and sour cream. This may have happened because I was there an hour before the store closed, but this never happened in other stores. I had to try the brown rice for the first time and I found out it's much better than I expected so that was a pleasant surprise. But I missed the taste of sour cream. Consequently, I hope they try harder to have the ingredients on stock.
