Chipotle Mexican Grill

Review: I visited this Chipotle location yesterday, and honestly, I was very disappointed. The place was extremely dirty. There were about six employees — three working and three sitting around reading or doing nothing. Despite the restaurant being practically empty, the tables were dirty, the floor was full of trash, and the garbage cans were overflowing. Even the glass looked unwashed. I paid almost $20 for a burrito and a Coke, which I don’t mind if the service and atmosphere are good. But paying that amount to sit in such an unclean environment is unacceptable. Cleanliness is the most basic expectation when dining out, especially from a brand like Chipotle. I’ve worked many years in the restaurant industry, and I know poor cleaning habits lead to bigger issues — rodents, cockroaches, and health risks. If the dining area looks this bad, I can only imagine what the kitchen looks like. This is a management issue: employees should not be idle when the restaurant is dirty, and managers must enforce standards of cleanliness and professionalism. Chipotle is a strong brand with good food, but the staff at this location are ruining it. Please, supervisors and managers need to step in, train the team, and take responsibility. Customers deserve a clean, safe, and welcoming place to eat.

I placed my order at 3:30pm. Someone stole our daughter's order. When we requested a courtesy water cup so we could hydrate ourselves, they denied us that. It took a whole hour and our daughter was in tears just to give us the wrong order! Very disappointed. College students in the area who look forward for a good bowl go to this Chipotle. Do better. No one apologized or offered any solutions when the staff said that my daughter's order was stolen.

Ordered from this chipotle and had the smallest portion known to mankind. Even the lettuce on the bowl was less than… the portions were so small they don’t even fill a kid meal. I asked the staff to add more to thr order and was declined and ignored. It wasn’t even crowded. For the amount of money this was disrespectful and will be the very last time I ever go to a chipotle. Also the chipotle vinaigrette was watery and peppery. The worst location not sure if there was a staff g or management change but I will never go back

Cheap chiptole, mad stingy with the food. The workers looking at you crazy for asking for double than quickly closing your bowl so you won’t complain. Then they don’t speak English.

Inside the restaurant was dirty, garbage overflowing, and when I sat down to eat my food after 10 minutes in a spoiled odor coming from the food. it smelled like it was spoiled and I ended up throwing that $20 worth of food away because it smelled spoiled. For someone that doesn’t really eat chipotle and trying it, that was the worst decision.

My daughter and I go there every morning after the gym and the staff is always respectful, the food is always on point

Absolutely horrible. Placed an order today with half of my items missing. Had to go out to this location myself to recover my items and while the first two ladies accomodated us very nicely, the lady who was the “manager” however was not so nice. I’m absolutely unsatisfied. The presentation of the food was very sloppy and definitely UNDER the portion size. Ridiculous. After spending $60 on food, you deserve better.

The young lady at the cash register was really sweet and apologetic for the fountain machine not working so kudos to her! But the food taste and quality was TERRIBLE. It was wayyy too salty and tastes… watered down in a way? Not only that but it smells disgusting and i threw up immediately after eating it. ALSO I AM DEATHLY ALLERGIC TO PEPPERS AND SPECIFICALLY ASKED FOR CERTAIN FOODS THAT HAD NO PEPPERS AND GUESS WHAT I FOUND IN MY BOWL?? DAMN PEPPERS!!!! Will not be returning to this location !!!!

Stopped by for lunch here this week. I usually either do pick up or order in store and take it to go. I am unsure how the experience is eating inside. I try to get in before 1pm because afterwards it is a long line. Staff has been pleasant when I go. I do see them often training new staff every time I go. I've never had issues with this location, they give good portions. Will continue to come since it's nearby my work office!

I frequent this location often. Between proximity (to almost everything I do) and quick service they got me. I never eat inside but my teenagers prefer this over anything else most of the time. Up until last week I would also pick up a quick bowl or some tacos for lunch when I worked a few blocks away. The barbacoa is too spicy for me and there is no parking but it's clean. Especially for where it's located. The times that I go I see the staff getting busy 100% of the time. Cooking cleaning serving online and in-person. I used a coupon for double protein the other night and I usually order on the app but lately with the addition of so much competition the line is not long at all. 5/5 I would recommend.

I use the app. My food is always ready and fresh. Sometimes they have no ice and I have to ask an employee to get me some. Or the machine will be out of syrup but they've given me other drinks instead. Considering the location and how busy they are, the customer service is good you just have to ask. Once my order came up twice and they gave me the extra order for free.

All I got was chips, I figured it was so simple that they couldn't fuck up, these are the worst chips ever. It's like they opened a bag of regular Tostitos and put it in a Chipotle bag. No lome, no salt. WTF?! Waste of money

I have to admit I had a bad impression on this Chipotle restaurant in the past and it's staff . But yesterday my experience was good the staff was cool and courteous. I was able to get a really good chicken quesadilla, nice portions of chicken on the quesadilla as well . This was My second time tasting there chicken quesadilla, and from what I remember the first one I had was pretty good. Chipotle on jamaica Avenue definitely redem themselves with me.

I wonder sometimes if it's even worth my time to review certain places.... Because they probably don't even care. I stood online for 47 minutes, had a hard workout so I was getting a cheat meal. Now the girls online kept screaming to this guy named Marcus who was way too busy on his phone ( in view of the customers). Finally get to the front, order my food, literally watch them cup the guac and get home to find there is no guac in the bag. And we all know guac is 4 million dollars. I almost drove the 15 minutes back to get it.... But is it worth is?? If they already don't care? It's chipotle, everyone loves chipotle, but go where the employees are there to work. Not play stupid little games. Just my 2 cents.

Why do they charge for this little bit of vinaigrette. They don't charge out of state AND they give more . The food at this location is poor compared to other chipotle's . But the staff is nice . Around 5pm restaurant could be cleaner .

Stopped in here today only because I happened to be in the area. I was the only customer at the time (NYC has currently ordered restaurants to serve takeout only in a coronavirus environment). I ordered a bowl, which was pretty good - rice, beans, chicken, tomatoes, mild sauce, etc. It came up to around $12.86 - typical Chipotle price I guess (I added sour cream and guac). Staff seemed friendly and upbeat considering. I noticed them sanitizing frequently touched spaces and servers were wearing gloves; however, the cashier was not- and she touched my unpackaged spoon and put it in the bag. I think they, and maybe all take out establishments should provided packaged utensils considering all that is happening. All in all, a quick and satisfactory experience. They also let me use the restroom (one other store I stopped in told me theirs was out of service to customers as a safety precaution).

Really feel like this place just has its good and bad days. But unfortunately most days out of the week this place is very hectic and sometimes very messy. The rice would sometimes be undercooked and their bowls would just be unappetizing. Other days it would be the opposite, mostly tolerable. It's really a hit or miss with this chipotle. The people there are quick though, they try their best to keep things clean which I respect.

Note that this review only pertains to pick up orders. I have ordered for pick up on several occasions from this location and had no issues. My order was always ready for the scheduled time of pick up and the order was prepared correctly. Not to mention that the portions that they give here are more than decent. They also make sure to include utensils and napkins in the order as well. Very satisfied with quick and easy pick up.

If I could give a negative star I would. Please avoid this place if you don't want to get sick. The food was so goddamn salty that my lips cracked, I kept saying "oh no maybe is just the chicken or the beans" but with every bite it became more intense. Then after struggling for like 5 bites I threw it out but that wasn't the end of it because I got the worst diarrhea of my life 30mins after!

I also sent one on Chipotle website review from the receipt. People I was with also sent a review because the service was horrible for everyone

I came there on a Friday about last week and I was appalled. The cashier lady was African American had short dreads/twists, tattoos and a harsh voice. She rung up a young kid for my order ( her mistake ) and since he used a gift card she wasn't able to return his funds. Instead of saying oops and moving on she literally proceeded to curse at the kid saying " yo this fi-ng kid" etc etc and I told her to politely calm down, while simultaneously asking the kid what happened. This kid was like 11 or 12 but she didn't care at all. She extended her neck over the counter like a giraffe, laughing at him in a mocking way as if telling him "hey you swiped the gift card already, can't do nothing about it NEXT! " ....no solution provided. He was Totally scared and in shock, and about the cry. In the end, I bought him a new gift card and the lady clocked out the same time before 4pm. The kid told me it was his first time at a chipotle and I felt for him, young man trying to get lunch on his own after school and had to experience something so demeaning. He told me he was just going to get some lunch at home. The security there , tall black man witnesses the whole thing and says nothing! Tall man who is supposed to have some type of authority, he says "I'm not the manager and sometimes these school kids come in and don't listen." Sure thing man, if that helps u sleep at night. But, you don't have to be a manger to stand up for injustice especially when the incident occurs 2 feet away from you. kindness goes a long way. And in this instance the boy was so calm and not being rowdy at all, so why did he deserve that treatment for an accident ? Whatever she is dealing with or not, totally disgusting, disrespectful, and uncalled for . I know for a fact if that kids' parent was there , the lady would've had a whole different reaction smh. God knows. I pray for compassion for this "lady" , and the whole team imagine if it were your younger sibling, your child, or even you as a young person. God protect our young ones from the evil ones who are quick to anger.

My stop here satisfied my hunger. This branch is no different from it's family branches. Quick, kinda healthy but extremely untidy dinning area. Bins are always overflowing at the Chipotles I go to and if I don't have one with me I usually HAVE TO ask for a cloth to wipe my table before I eat. I'll still eat it when I'm hungry. The End.

I couldn't believe my eyes when I saw Chipotle on Jamaica Ave. What has Jamaica Avenue come to? It's nice to see some diversity in the type of fast food restaurants that are prevalent in Jamaica. Stores that have been around for 20 plus years are being replaced with what's trending. It's a bittersweet feeling to know that the neighborhood is changing. I stopped in one day after running errands and decided to order a burrito bowl to-go. My burrito bowl consisted of cilantro-lime brown rice, black beans, double chicken, roasted chili-corn salsa, queso, and Monterey jack cheese. The guy who served me hooked up my bowl with a decent amount of said ingredients. As expensive as this place is we all deserve to get a bang for our buck so thank you. Unfortunately, my burrito bowl was bland. I'm not sure if it is because I skipped the guacomole or because my taste buds were off.

I stoped in for dinner tonight had a bowl the the place is very dirty after eating I went to rest room there was stuff everywhere but worst of all there was a bloody tampon i immediately got sick

Decided to order 2 vege bowl from this location. After few bites we had meat coming out of the bowl. The person who had it is completely vegetarian. Very horrible on this joint.

Does not accept cash. Food portions were very small as if they were feeding a child. No vinaigrette available !!!! Who wants a dry salad? Queso was very lumpy.... Oh lets not forget The staff have the biggest attitude. the store is very dirty even on a low volume day. Chipotle makes way too much money for such mismanagement.

I don't know what's happened to Chipotle.. when it first opened everyone loved it practically... now I'm afraid of coming back to one... L picked up a bowl and some chips with guac just yesterday and now I'm really sick... my stomach is burning.... I only ate like 1/3 of the bowl. I haven't had Chipotle in a long time and I guess it'll be another year or so before I'll be willing to try it again. It tasted ok... not as great as it used to be but it was a good portion for the carnitas/steak bowl. Sadly I did get sick which is pretty rare. Not happy at all...

I ordered from this chipotle and already put in my survey. Negative stars man. Im fasting for ramadan, all while working. So knowing that, I ordered ahead so I can eat with no problems when sun down came and i can break my fast after not having eaten since 5 am. When I ordered at 7:50 on the app, I was worried when there was no update about it being ready. So i ended up going to the store to check, like what's going on? They FORGOT to do my order. I ended up getting my order around 8:50, almost two hours after i was supposed to break my fast. On top of that less rice than i normally get, when I already don't ask for more. Just normal amount is alright! And on top of THAT! No sour cream when i asked for extra. Like if ur gonna be almost an hour late with my order you could at least do it right. Truly disappointing. Panda express next door is the better pick, although less healthy i never wait a damn hour for an order.

Literally got a burrito bowl with no rice. I even called to ask them if they can please place salad dressing in the bag and they didn't do that either. The food was cold and sloppy. It took them forever to prepare the food for delivery and I promise I will never order from this chipotle again.

When I heard a chipotle was gonna be so close to my home, I was excited. I've visited this establishment on multiple occasions. Each experience was different but my food was always delicious until.... I recently went to the restaurant around 9pm, they close at 10pm. There was a line as usual and I ordered my normal burrito inside a bowl. That's just simply putting the tortilla wrap into a bowl and then adding the food. ( Its much neater than eating a normal burrito ) As I continue to order, I was told there was no hot salsa, cheese and no lettuce. I was pissed. Why wasn't this said prior to me eating ? I'm a very picky eater so without these the meal just isn't the same. I was so upset but also a little embarrassed but I told the person making my food, I no longer wanted the meal. I haven't returned since, but when and if I do I'm going to be more mindful and make sure they have everything.

First time here. Portions look small for the price but I absolutely like chipotle Mexican Grill. The line in here was extremely long as in any other chipotle that I have ever been to. The staff was moving a bit slow at the register for my liking personally but my order was accurate, so I guess that's not always a bad thing. I will be back because I love the food. Thanks for opening one up in my area!!

Food is good, chipotle is chipotle. Quick and easy service at this location. Ambiance is good, looks like any other chipotle.

Its Chipolte. You been to one they to me pretty much all the same. You get decent food for a ok price This one like most depends on the attitude of the staff. What I do not like is that they talk over your food as they prep it You can be waiting in line only one person on register one on prepping. They will stop do a online order backing up line even more. Thats a staffing issue management needs to adress. I would eat her again if in the area.

I have had really good experiences here so far Staff is friendly enough. One time I got lunch for myself and my mom. Her tacos were cold. Food taste was on point. It was qhwn they just opened and the day was freezing in february. Since then it has improved. Only downside is they dont have their liqour license. So no margaritas if you were looking for a friday night margarita and burrito.

When I'm on the Ave I come here and the staff is young, friendly and professional. I usually get the steak bowl with white rice, black beans, salsa, cheese and guacamole on the side...or I get that all wrapped into a burrito which is a lot but they never complain about fitting it all together ; ).

Hey, fellow yelpers, just finished chowing done on tacos for lunch, this is my 2nd time ordering on-line from the Jamaica Ave location & I gotta give'em the thumbs up! Twice, my order was correct. Twice, delicious! I find the crew working today very efficient but also very pleasant! Thank you, Chipotle, for a tasty and fast lunch! I will return!

i went for lunch a 2335 New hyde park road i informed the cashier that the tables outside were dirty she showed me where the napkins were . i went back and let her know that the tables were sticky i was given a BUCKET THAT HAD WATER AND A RAG !!!!! I never have had such HORRIBLE SERVICE if I hadn't already paid for my food i surely wouldn't have spent my money there!!! I think it was the manager he should be told that a DU RAG should only be worn at home .!!I If i could give you a ZERO i would

I ordered on the app today. Ordered guacamole on my bowl, paid for it and didn't get no guacamole on my bowl. Then the guacamole I did get for my chips and guacamole is brown. I know for a fact guacamole is supposed to be greens. First meal of the day and it's disappointing. However, Chipotle reached out to me in regards to my ordered after I complained about it. It was nice to see that even though my order was messed up. I was still properly taken care of.

Do not place an order through the app. I assure you that you will not get your food at the promised time. If you do, be prepared to wait 20-30 mins after the designated time.

It's your standard Chipotle very clean with friendly service,the only difference is there's a security guard here not sure that I've noticed one at other locations I've been to so it's a little insulting if there's security because it's in an ethnic area !

I want to start by saying I am a former Chipotle employee. So, I really know how things should look, taste, and feel coming from that. There is a very clear standard that stores are taught and this store falls short in every single way. They consistently burn their meats, the cut sizes are wrong, overcook their rice, and under season their salsas. I can find no redeeming qualities about this location. Do not even bother ordering salad for delivery because you will never get your salad dressing with the order. Sometimes you also will not receive your beverage. Kids meals are made with no care in the world. This is the worst Chipotle I have ever patronized. They should really be ashamed to make and send out the food that they make. This location will never be restaurateur. I wouldn't be surprised if they have been re-managed and re-staffed several times. A total failure.

So this is a new spot on Jamaica ave. I normally don't do reviews based on the first visit but there is a chipotle way closer to where I live and I feel like I won't be here too often. Well based on first impressions here is how my first time here was: Pros: The place was VERY CLEAN!!. The tables were wiped and shiny. No garbage was anywhere in sight . The garbage receptacles were emptied and NOT overflowing with garbage (which I found is pretty much a norm at most chipotles in the area) . The condiment area where you pick up your sauce and plastic cutlery was very clean , neat , and organized as well. I'm really big on cleanliness for food restaurants , so I was very pleased in this area. - The staff are really friendly!! When I placed my order I got really good service from everyone . The line was short too. There was one worker who really stick out to me. I didn't get her name but she was working the"toppings" half of the food line. She was very assertive and warm. She had Caesar cut hairstyle . Very efficient! -The food taste really good and consistent with the chipotle brand standards . I'm a chronic chipotle goer so I'm sure I'm accurate when I say this. -There is a good amount of seating here not to mention ample enough sunlight given the large windows. Cons - there was a security guard at the door. At first I though he was dining in but later , after seeing him linger and plant himself by the door I realized he worked here. I think this is a con because it's saying something without saying something pretty much. I've never seen security at any chipotle in my life . I'm didn't experience anything while eating but his presence does beg the question why? Like is said earlier this was my first and only visit so far to this particular chipotle location. I think this place will do just fine here !

I ordered food over an hour ago, they said my order would arrive at 7:27, at 7:39 they said the driver was on his way to the restaurant.. it wasn't until 8PM they canceled my order, without a call or any reasoning.. Terrible customer service!

And there was hair in the food and they didn't even put lettuce wtf I couldn't get refunded they just stole my money please don't order from them

I've been here twice. I got chicken soft tacos and chips with queso. Food was delicious and fresh and the employees were really nice and sweet. The setting is fine but I would prefer if the seating area was more spacious.

Best Chipotle ever! Hands down great costumer service and great food! They servers are kind and was able to make my food quickly.

PALOMA IS THE HORRIBLE MANAGER HERE! If you value your time and need basic customer service when spending your money DO NOT PATRONIZE this store. This young lady needs to learn how to speak to customers and operate like a professional. Her attitude is absolutely disgusting and her customer service skills are lacking in a major way... I am struggling to understand how this chick got promoted to manager with this type of behavior. I've literally lost my appetite after dealing with this inadequate human. Someone needs to address her... I will be escalating my complaint to corporate because her behavior was absolutely unacceptable!

the only chipotle near me but it is not as bad as others make it seem. service is slow when you order on the app and get it delivered. (takes forever to deliver) naturally there is always a big line at this chipotle. they always run out of guac or never have it and it irks me sometimes. and mannnnn, they are stringy with guac and cheese like damn lol

This is probably one of the worst chipotles I've had. I ordered a bowl for myself and for my co worker and we were both disappointed. The food was skimped and the chicken was super dry. The guap def wasn't fresh like It usually is at other chipotles. I wouldn't recommend this one.

I love chipotle and would never give it a bad review but I feel like this is a public safety concern and therefore I've gotta speak on it but I got a chicken bowl today 2/22/19 and some of the chicken wasn't cooked all the way through. This is really not okay and someone's lack of diligence can lead to a real health concern for others. Please work on this.

This chipotle has had an outage of guacamole for about 2 weeks already and they never have the right cheese. It's always mozzarella cheese as a substitute. And the bathroom is out of service. Smh.

Terrible! Employees can't get an order correct snd customer service is no help don't bother ordering

This is the second time I have felt this way after eating there. I do not think they are cleaning well after the day is done. The food tasted fine...but My stomach is doing summersaults, and I am running to the bathroom. It did not smell like a dirty mop which is a dead giveaway, so I thought I would be fine.
