I eat chipotle a lot and have been to dozens of locations. This place always gives by far the least food. Like incredibly low amounts. I’m not a confrontational person but I have to ask for more rice, lettuce, or meat every single time. Today I watched the manager tell the guy serving me to use only 3 fingers when adding lettuce to reduce the amount of lettuce I would get. All this and the chicken and guac bowl is $16. See attached picture of flat bowl

The portion size at this Chipotle is really small, which left me quite disappointed. I can understand that it’s a bit more expensive than many other Chipotle locations—maybe it’s due to the location. But the portion size is seriously too small, even the receipt is bigger than the food…😅

I had a disappointing experience at this Chipotle location in the Bay Area. The staff was unprofessional and rude, and I was even nearly hit with a salsa like what?? As someone who works nearby, I would not recommend giving them business. I used to enjoy Chipotle, but this experience has changed my perspective, especially due to the behavior of one staff member who was unnecessarily aggressive when I entered. I was also told there was no meat available, which seemed odd and unprofessional. I hope the management addresses these issues. 12:20pm.

What is going on with the portion sizes at this place? If I'm paying $20 for a rice bowl, I expect a decent amount of rice and protein, not what feels like half a spoonful. And when you ask for more, you're met with "extra?" No, not extra, I want what I paid for. The staff is friendly, no complaints there. But seriously, who came up with these portion size guidelines? It isn't very pleasant and honestly makes you question the value

For almost $14 I would expect a larger sized burrito. The one I got was a bit small, although it tasted very good. I typically go to other Chipotle locations, and they always make decent sized burritos. But I happened to be passing by this one and decided to get food here. I think I will stick to my usual Chipotle locations in the future.

The service size was very poor and sad. I ordered a chicken bowl with everything as double except the meat and it looked like the serving size wasn't even a single on both scoops. The lady that served me this Saturday at 2pm rushed my order even though there was no line, didn't even greet or look at me and didn't care about my food. Will not go back here again

I came to this Chipotle after the screaming of the employee at the market Street location where she was screaming at the top of her lungs asking people if they wanted chips. I came to this location and happy that it was less screaming and better portions but it's okay to take some time to listen to your customers instead of worrying about getting them out. You do need to check today on the girl running the till not only did she not charge me she didn't charge I think a couple people because she didn't know how to use the machine nor did she look like she really cared. Chipotle your service has gone downhill your people don't care but maybe they shouldn't have to. Considering your stock prices I don't think you're paying them enough even though you pay them more. You need people there to monitor to make sure they can engage the customers with a smile and enough with the rushing and small portions. Your facility was actually very filthy and maybe you need to hire some more people. Your investors can afford to improve conditions for workers so you get qualified people there. The food absolutely delicious! No complaints there consistently good.

I went to this location twice to give it a second chance. Both times, they ran out of items like chicken or cheese and wouldn’t restock. They just say they are out of it and keep moving your bowl or burrito forward. I watched someone create a whole bowl and then ask for cheese, and they said they were out. He walked right out instead of taking the bowl.

All the times I've been here have been pretty average - limited interactions with the staff (but they do look tired & stressed), orders ready for pick up approximately around when it said it would be, & food tasting good. I only order online for pick up but I can see that it's always packed here during the FiDi lunch rush. By 1pm - 1:30pm they're usually low on choices or completely out & you'd need to wait for them to refill. Unfortunately, the portions are not consistent every time & sometimes vastly different even in the same order. I tried the honey chipotle chicken for the first time & it was a hit for me - super juice & flavorful! I will say that next time I'd skip the "salad" when I'm really looking for a salad & just order a bowl with extra lettuce. The amount of salad greens in my salad was nonexistent.

If I could give ZERO stars I would. Chipotle has gone so far down hill it's mind boggling to conceive. When I was a kid this was the place to go for Cheap, quality, huge portion meals. Sad to say this is not the case anymore. Let's start with the quality of the food. Rice undercooked, beans undercooked, chicken dry and chewy. Gross!!! The salsa is heavy on salt and guacamole underwhelming. It's $3.20 for a side of Guac, the flavors should be dynamic and inviting but they are not Next let's go to portion sizes. Don't you remember when you were a kid back in 2010, jese even 2015 where the employees could barely shut the lid on your bowl. Well not anymore!! The employees clearly. You are paying nearly double the price for half the food. Oh, not to mention they charge for tortillas now. I bar Quality!!! Food is undercooked or overcooked with no flavore.. The line is a mess, there are clearly no protocols for cleaning while working.

I was super rushed through the line, the girl would add stuff before I even had a chance to reply. Hands down the WORST CHIPOTLE, I've ever visited. Felt DIRTY as you can see from the dirty dishes stacked behind it! Almost EVERYTHING was out.. and seemed like nobody cared but the front employee he was trying hard! He was working the line alone and finally someone came to help him.. Sad thing is, he was telling the "cooks" what they needed as replacements and they didn't care. They took their time and kind of shrugged him off.. sad to watch.. this front employee was trying hard! I mean, no white rice, no brown rice.. only protein was chicken.... No fajitas.. I mean it was empty!! Then the cleanliness was so nasty. The sodas area around the corner looked like it had been ransacked by everyone. No lids, the plastic wear was all over the counter. Just the DIRTIEST CHIPOTLE I've ever been too, I will not return! Surprised people aren't getting sick from this location! I've been here several times and finally wrote a much needed review in hopes it will turn around!!!

There are so many...same thing and good enough sometimes..not really about how much spend..how much chipotle you can eat with your diet...all the vacant spaces...it made my day better to get a promotion...eat by yourself #MayDay 2025

Overall a totally average Chipotle experience. The hotly debated protein portion was fine. Service was efficient but not friendly, which is understandable during a FiDi weekday lunch rush. The store itself was quite packed with patrons waiting in line, but not many sit down diners. I ordered a chicken burrito bowl which felt a little underwhelming. It honestly felt largely under seasoned. There were barely any fajita veggies, which are my favorite part of the bowl. It's a good spot for convenience, but I've had better chipotle.

Was there Saturday 5/24/25 around noon. There were three people in front working ( 2 guys and 1 girl). The taller of the guys was so freaking rude it was jaw open, looking around, like can you believe how rude he is to not only me but the guy in line in front of me. The guy in front of me asked for a tray for his multiple item order and the taller guy working didn't even look at him and said, " we don't give trays" as he literally threw his bowls toward the customer. I'm not joking. The worker frisbee'd the bowl toward the customer. Then it was my turn. Unbelievably. UnFreaking Believable. I get it, that you may not like your job. Who really does? But come on now. Overall, experience was very unwelcoming. Wow!!

This is, by far, the worst chipotle I've ever been to. I love chipotle in general and this location is really convenient for me , so I'm upset that the quality has gotten to a point to where I can't even eat here anymore. THE MAIN PROBLEM: EXTREMELY RUSHED SERVICE that makes ordering an uncomfortable and frustrating experience. This location is severely mismanaged and consistently provides poor service. The main issue: The staff member who typically handles the assembly line appears to be rushing customers through at an uncomfortable pace. This creates several problems: customers aren't given adequate time to make their selections, ingredients are hastily scooped without attention to proper portions, and the overall atmosphere feels rushed and unwelcoming. I've witnessed customers visibly frustrated, some shaking their heads or sighing as they're hurried along before they can even finish speaking. Others look confused and give up trying to ask questions about ingredients or modifications. In addition to this, the chicken has been overcooked on multiple visits, which significantly impacts the meal quality. What I'd like to see: I hope management can address the pacing issues during busy periods. Taking a few extra seconds per customer to ensure accuracy and provide a welcoming experience would make a huge difference. I'm hoping things improve because I'd love to continue supporting this convenient location, but the current service approach is driving customers away from what should be an enjoyable dining experience.

It was only 4pm on a Tuesday they had 1 girl working at the front, I was the 3rd person in line and I waited at least 25 minutes, the guy in front of me left and while I was waiting at least 8 to 9 customers waiting in line left! The cook was frying chicken on the grill and he loaded so much salt into the meat it was terrible! The worst was the girl at the front she was rude, I barely could understand her, she dumped a spoon of the tomatoes (mild sauce ) onto my bowl without asking and I can't eat tomatoes, I told her I didn't want tomatoes and she took the bowl and dumped it real hard into the garbage can, she made me another bowl with hardly any food in it!!! The worst service!! I walked in at 4:15 and left almost at 5pm!!! Never ever will go there again!!

My husband and I ordered chicken bowls and were told to wait for the chicken to finish cooking. We moved to the side and waited. The chicken eventually finished cooking but the servers never paid any attention to us and continued to serve other customers in line even though we were first and had waited. And they continued to serve the finished chicken. No, 'Gimme a second to help these two first, they've been waiting a while'. We waited in total over 20 minutes and ended up just cutting our losses and walking out. Some **basic** customer service training is badly needed. Otherwise this place will just continue to decline.

The staff here seemed incredibly rushed, even though there was no one behind me - the person taking my order spoke to me like a drill sergeant, barely giving me time to respond before moving on. I can understand wanting quick service, but it could at least be a normal, human interaction. And to really round out the experience, the portions were comically small - but before I could even say anything, my bowl was already halfway down the line. Update: Directed to submit the same review to Chipotle corporate with automated responses.

Update - I wish there was a no star because yet again chipotle sucks!!! I ordered a salad which is supposed to come with dressing. I messaged my DoorDash guy to make sure they don't forget the dressing as they have the last 3 times I've ordered. I was in the mood for a salad and tried Chipotle again and again I was disappointed. My dasher tells me that the store said they didn't have dressing??!! How do you let people order salad and have no dressing!!! I wish I can order from another location but this is the closest. I'm done! Never again!!! 11/05 - tried to contact support only get pepper bot! Need to speak to a human!

On 3/14 after work, I went to this Chipotle location and this female worker does the worst job possibly. She intentionally isn't scooping enough portion of the steak. She snarkily knows she isn't providing fair portions to customers and proceeds to give attitude towards customers. This lady is talking in Spanish to other coworkers bad mouthing me. She needs to be FIRED for her unprofessional behavior. Chipotle customers and shareholders can benefit much more by removing these awful workers. There needs to be an investigation on this particular worker. This is truly unacceptable and the worst Chipotle location -- I will be in touch with Corporate to explain entire situation. Thanks.

Food hygiene issues. Last week, they gave me brown, crusted guacamole. Against my better judgement I ate it (since I've ordered here a few times). Bad move - I got food poisoning and diarrhea a few times later during the day. Chipotle corporate needs to increase hiring. Workers look overworked and bummed out. Chipotle corporate needs to increase food hygiene.

There is a serious issue at this location. There is one person, young man who feigns understanding English. I have trouble placing an order because they don't understand English ? This location that won't work. I also you have changed employees. This is serious because I wonder if he does this all day or to particular people. I am doing to do further investigation because I don't like what I am seeing. Don't worry I am officially done eating at any chipotle.

I have tried this Chipotle many times. WHY IS THE RICE ALWAYS HARD? It does not matter if it is white or brown, the rice is always undercooked. Is there a way to have this location retrained on how to cook rice properly? There are not many food options in the area so it would be great if the bowls here were decent. I also want to echo other reviewers by saying the portions are small.

Whenever I go to Chipotle I get the veggie tacos because that means the guacamole is an alternative protein choice at no extra cost. Yesterday I went to chipotle and ordered the veggie tacos and after making my plate, the guy who made my tacos told the cashier to ring it up as chicken + guacamole. I said "there's no meat, they're veggie tacos." And the guy who made my tacos doubled down and said "it's chicken + guacamole." I literally saw him make my taco and said it's veggie tacos so idk why he doubled down that there was chicken. The cashier then looked at me confused cuz she didn't know who to believe and I pushed back saying "there's literally no meat, I ordered veggie tacos." Thankfully she rung it up as veggie, but I'm more so annoyed that he doubled down and looked at me like I was trying to pull a fast one on them or something when he literally packed my taco and saw that there's no meat. Attached video as proof that it truly was a veggie taco. And on top of that, the soda was super syrupy.

I don't normally write reviews on Yelp but my experience here was so bad I feel compelled to. Workers here have some of the worst attitude I've come across in the city, and the food staging area was disgusting. They had 7 workers preparing bowls at the same time and mixed up my order with someone else's (someone behind me had the same issue as well). Once they corrected that, they still gave me the wrong sides. To top it all off, they charged me $23 for my order that should have been $11 (added guacamole, chips, drink when it wasn't in my order).

Today I placed an online order for pickup and saw they had a bit of a rush. I watched them make my bowl and give me half scoops of everything and cover it with lettuce. This particular location has always been stingy with their portions but today was even worse than what I normally experience. Its ridiculous that now as the price for a meal here goes up, the less amount of food you get. I contacted chipotle support and the only reply was "thanks for the feedback"

This location is quite bad (they get orders wrong all the time), but my experience today was beyond the pale. I had to return to the store after opening up my pickup order because the guacamole was disgusting (see attached pic). I've never seen the guacamole look like this--it was black and kind of runny. Sure guacamole will look bad (but not this bad) after a day in the fridge, but this was 10 minutes after I picked up and it was just gross. I raised this with the shift lead, and she was unapologetic and said "this is just how the guacamole looks." I'm frankly worried about the food safety here. This guacamole was clearly old, and the manager was completely, utterly unphased. She was also pretty dang rude.

And it's the Embarcadero! Come on!! Prices have gone up again to pay for employees hourly increase !!! If I am subject to paying for their increase it better be improved and very good ... The place is filthy and unkept ... You need to Keep the serving area neat and tidy!!! Tables are not wiped down trash is not emptied on a consistent basis ... It's a horrible mess ... I will never step foot in this place Again... Wake up and improve ... maybe you all just need to work a lot harder !! It is the food business after all !!!

I love Chipotle but this location is TERRIBLE!! They're 100% concerned about speed and 0% concerned about anything else. The food is burned and salty, the service is rushed and unprofessional. There is one tall skinny South Asian guy who was just rushing people down the line like he was playing a game on an app. There used to be a short Asian woman who would giggle every ten seconds at everything and sometimes just walked away giggling. I don't know what's going on here but they need to retrain everyone.

Today just wasn't the day for Chipotle. Decided to order online since typically they do a better job compared to how they are in person. Boy I was wrong.. I had an avocado peel in my bowl and burnt chicken. I asked for Queso Blanco and got tomatillo sauce. So annoyed with this place, you would think they would do better to avoid the continuous bad reviews.

Absolute clown of a manager. I've come here 5 times and they're always out of food by 7:45pm at the latest, more than an hour before closing. I'd give it no stars if I could, the same as the amount of food I've gotten! Come past 7:30 yourself to prove me wrong, just remember to do it after you're already gotten dinner somewhere else because you'll leave hungry. Either revise your hours and close up shop earlier to go home you lazy manager or learn how to properly run a supply chain.

This location constantly runs out of ingredients at the hours I order (between 5 and 9pm on weekdays) and it has been this way for the past year. I place orders online and they either give me something I don't want instead (usually without asking), or don't include it and don't say anything at all. One time they even ran out of rice and Lettuce and just gave me a chicken bowl. Folks, paying 16+ dollars for a bowl of plain chicken is fraud. This location is very clearly mismanaged, but has managed to stay afloat because there is so much business traffic nearby. Needless to say, after a year of this I have had enough and will not be returning to this location.

By far the worst chipotle I have ever been to. the salad did not even fill the bowl. The so-called manager told me it was all good that she was training the new girl and told her the portions of 4 ounces per item. What happens when a person only gets three items in their salad.? how is it OK to tell a paying customer it's all good with a complaint not to mention the store was a complete mess food everywhere the counter where they made the food there was old food stuck to it the girl that was training, and her first day was making the food while everyone else stood around and talked, one girl had four friends in there and was sitting at a table . The chips were stale just like the manager's personality. Do better chipotle. Ive never been to one so horrible.

I love Chipotle but this was such an awful experience. First off they totally skimp out on the portions. The chicken was bland and mushy, the beans had no flavor, everything was really gross. The salsas looked like they were left out overnight, the sour cream was watery and the lettuce was DRENCHED in water. My bowl was so bad and while I sat in there trying go eat, it a homeless person was sitting right across with their stuff all over (they didn't even have chipotle?) It was dirty and unappetizing. A waste of my time and money!!!! Do NOT go here.

This place sucks ass, the guy working at the cashier is super rude and doesn't know anything about customer service. I went in person and got a carnitas bowl, only to find out when I got back to my office, that they gave me a veggie bowl, so someone else got my order and didn't get theirs. I go back to tell them, only to be told to go back in line without even a sorry. I tell the rude as cashier guy I don't have time to stand in the long line again and asked for a side of carnitas, and ended up getting this little sauce size container of carnitas... never freaking going here again...

Placed an order for a burrito bowl for this location through my Chipotle app, and the app gave me an estimated wait time of 30mins! Considering it was 8pm at night and a bowl takes about 5mins or less to slap together, I was a bit perplexed why the app quoted such a long wait time. Despite this however, since I was still in the office working and was going to remain working for a few hours more, I just continued to work until it was time to head over to pickup my order. When I arrived, I noticed my order was not ready at the pickup shelves. I stood around for a few mins when the nice cashier approached and asked if she could help me. I explained that I placed an order through the app, and she had the person at the assembly line make one for me right away. Everyone that I interact with there was super friendly and offered great service. I did however notice that this Chipotle location does skimp on the portion size, and I got probably half of the amount I would have gotten at more generous locations.

Came here for a burrito bowl got white rice, pinto beans, Barbacoa,cheese, & lettuce, also got a side of chips. Good was good...the meat was a bit greasy so I hate I didn't get chicken. The chips on the other hand...TOP TIER! Sometimes I go to some Chipotle's & their chips don't hit...but these were on point!

If there were such thing as a negative star, this location would have overachieved this feat. I'm a frequent customer here and I think they've figured out people don't come here for the customer service nor do they come for the quality of good food. People come here for convenience and tourist don't know any better stay away from here. I don't completely blame the staff because every new hire performs at the same crappy level as the crew before them. I blame the GM for not properly training the team. EVERYBODY sucks here and I'm sure this review won't make a bit of difference due convenience. I say this to Chipoltle as a company, get your ish together at this location because it's not a good look for the company as a whole. There needs to be accountability. I've had better service buying dvds on the sidewalk in the Tenderloin

So came to another thinking things would better. I ordered the food and was amazed I didn't get sick. The place according to the health department has issues with Insufficient hot water or running water, Improper or defective plumbing, improper food labeling or menu misrepresentation and Wiping cloths not clean or properly stored or inadequate sanitizer.

This is the worst Chipotle location to ever exist. I'm surprised they are still open with all of these horrible reviews. Chipotle isn't hard to mess up, but congrats, you did it. Every time I order here the order is ALWAYS missing at least 2 things. Smallest portions ever. I don't think they know how to read an order. Do yourself a favor and never order from here. EVER.

Literally 7 people waiting in line and they decide to do 4-5 mobile orders first while we all wait. Also there were 6 people working but only 1 person making orders, oh the manager was there in plain clothes standing around being useless. Not sure why mobile orders are prioritized over customers physically in the store.

Needed a quick dinner before a show nearby, I decided to stop by this Chipotle's for a bite. With no line, I was able to walk up and place my order. I ordered my favorite, Barbacoa burrito. The gal who took my order went down the line and built the burrito according to my specs and wrapped the burrito. I guess since I was the only customer she did this as opposed to having another worker finishing up the building and wrapping of the burrito. The dining room is L-shaped and I took a table at the side where the soda fountain and condiment station was located. The tables could be a little cleaner. The burrito quality was similar as to what I have had at other Chipotles. I did notice the price was a $1 higher than my regular location by home. Chalk it up to being in the FiDi.

I like the food but the portions are less, the other locations serve you much more and I don't get it why these guys are so greedy!! I won't come back to this location anymore. I even asked them why the portions are so small and they said that's the way they do it! Not only the portions were small, they are getting smaller too!! Much smaller compare to other nearby chipotles! I'd not come here if I had a choice and wasn't in rush.

Every time I walk in here, every single employee there is running around doing something. I see them work nonstop (especially with such a visible workplace), that it must be high pressure for them not to mess up. I appreciate that they're trying the best they can, and they still manage to be really friendly while talking to me at 100mph. Love their communication with each other to be more efficient! They're always reliable when it comes to catering deliveries as well. They've transitioned from trays with stands to just the trays, and it has saved so much table space. They pack everything in boxes nicely, and it's easy to set up. Quality is A+, and I haven't had a portion problem.

Almost bought some tacos. The bar was filthy. Asked for cheese, and she put like a sprinkle of cheese, asked if there was any more cheese in the back she just said no. I didn't want my tacos without cheese so I just cancelled my order. Felt wrong but what am I supposed to do. This location is by far the worst I've been to.
