i just ordered food from doordash and i just got it and i ordered a bowl and i asked for chicken and rice in it and its not in there how do you forget the most important ingredient.. im utterly irritated because i haven’t at all day just to receive this it all wet and nasty and i found hair when i just got finished with my food

This Chipotle’s is terrible because it’s always messy, dirty and these guys work as if they are a funeral home buffet. They give you super small portions and they drop a lot of food outside the bowls because they are kinda lazy. The food quality and service it’s at a decline for sure from years ago. It’s amazing how people don’t get sick on this location. Blast the manager to hire better workers or follow better procedures.

Delivery via GrubHub. Driver was wonderful. However, the food was so messed up. One bowl was almost right, but still missing key ingredients. The other bowl was not even close to what we ordered. Majorly disappointed. Definitely will be submitting a request for refund. Update: refund was honored. Still....I won't be returning to this location be it dine in or Delivery. $40 for 2 bowls....ridiculous.

⭐️ The staff here are doing their best, but Chipotle corporate has completely failed this location. Orders are marked “Ready” in the app when they’re clearly not. Bags are unlabeled, there’s no communication system, and delivery drivers are left standing around with no support while staff are visibly overwhelmed and sweating to keep up. I waited over 10 minutes for a “ready” order that wasn’t even close to being prepared — and I wasn’t alone. Multiple Dashers were stuck in the same mess. This isn’t an employee issue — it’s a corporate operations failure. If Chipotle wants to keep offering online orders and delivery, they need to invest in real systems and support for stores like this one. Until then, expect delays, frustration, and total disorganization. The people behind the counter deserve better — and so do the customers and drivers.

I ordered take out after a rough day of work and just wanted some food to eat. I got home, opened the bag that had my name on it and noticed the burrito had a different persons name it. I cut it in half to make sure it wasn’t just mislabeled (my burrito but wrong label on it) and nope. It was a different burrito that had cheese in it (I’m lactose intolerant) I was so bummed as I just wanted some food at this point. I called and spoke with the manager. I explained my situation and she informed me that if I come back they will remake my burrito for me. She offered this service right away, was very kind about it, and I did not have to argue or defend myself. I went back, they remade the burrito without issue and they apologized for the inconvenience. This is, realistically, the best case scenario given the circumstances. I was happy with how it was all handled. 10/10 for their manager offering solutions and crisis management.

The workers there on the service line were not attentive to the huge line of customers there. I had been in line for 5 minutes already with no other customers in the store. I was ignored by one woman the moment I got there again for 5 minutes before I was helped. This is completely unacceptable. I then proceeded to have to wait for the cashier to come from the back to check me out. I asked for chips and she bagged my chips with no gloves on & developed and attitude when I asked her to put gloves on. No utensils on the counters, ugh I will not be returning to this location!

I walked in and the place was pretty filthy. Oh and the workers were pretty whatever and lazy and the food was too salty and low-key sucked. Also they were out of cheese? Like how was a Mexican burrito place out of cheese? and the thing is they said it would be back in 10 minutes but if you wanted to you could make that 30 seconds if you walked to the back. Honestly dude just do an overhaul cuz this place sucks. The Chipotles back in my hometown are superb in comparison

7/20 3:45 pm. The two woman working the line and register were great. They're always really nice to me, remember my order and acts like I'm a friend. They had a customer get irate and actually extremely rude. I think they were making more beans (had plenty of the others) she was still so chill, professional and handled the situation really well. After the guy threw a tantrum and left, she just shrugged it off and when back to work, cool and collected.

I stated in a previous review that I doubt I'd ever go back here. Well I was given little choice as this is what my 80 year old mother wanted for dinner. So I ordered again. I wanted to try something different so I ordered the new honey chicken bowl with a side of Adobo Ranch. I picked up and drove the 5 blocks home. I opened it up and thought it odd that it was not even warm. The whole dish was cold to the touch. The chicken was dry and rubbery, tasteless and yes cold. The adobo ranch was not that good. Also, the portions were way smaller than the previous visits. So unless someone I love asks for Chipotle again I plan on never ordering again. Ever since they "improved" their ingredients to be more "healthy" the taste has plummeted big time. I realize this place is super popular but I think it's just one of those overhyped spots that is trendy so people go because then they can say I ordered Chipotle.

One positive, we were given huge portions of each item. We walk in, the workers are joking and smiling, all is good... then all of a sudden they start calling each other the "n" word, mother f****, and yelling and complaining about their hours. I stood there thinking that this was just a joke but then the worker was trying to pack up the tacos for the costumer ahead of us and the worker said "how f**** big did you make these mother **** tacos". The worker replied "you never know it might be the last mother f****'s last meal". I understand having fun at work and joking around, however this was just uncomfortable and unbelievable at the end.

Are you open until 10pm or not. Look, I get it. I've worked fast food before and it sucks when someone comes in after 9:30 but the attitude we dealt with was over the top. We had just left an event and I had a 10 year old that was so hungry he was getting a headache. we walked in and was immediately told that the lobby was closed which we were getting to go so not that big a deal. My wife attempted to order but the person behind the counter pretended not to hear her or struggled to understand. so my wife (native Spanish speaker) had to order in Spanish which just seemed like they just wanted us to go away. We attempted to order but there were no salsa's...whether not made or put away, we don't know but there was no effort to rectify or explain. So we ordered without salsa figuring I would add my own at home. But even the product we were given was so poorly put together, not sure why we bothered. Chipotle used to be a staple in my house but it is miserable watching the quality of employees just destroying the business. Owners, I get that you're at the mercy of what you can find to work but just know what they are doing to your investment. The store is open until 10 and a customer at 9:30 should be equally as valuable as a customer 6 but the night of May 8, 2025, that wasn't the case. Cafe Latte across the street was still open, their food is waaaay better and we've never been crapped on like we were tonight. We learned our lesson.

"OMG Chipotle is my life!" I love me some good old Chipotle burritos whenever I can get my hands on some. Good stop for anyone looking for good burritos. My only complaint is the service and the cleanliness. I understand that for the area it will be busy, but I wish it was faster. As to the cleanliness, I would like to see the preparation area cleaned once in awhile. I can tell they have not been cleaned all day. Hope to get another burrito when I'm in the area!

Customer service has been horrible for the past few years idk why or what happen but the quality of employees is not good.. went there today because the closer location closed. Waited about 10 mins for 1 person to come start my bowl, then the 2nd person who's cleaning and wiping down stuff sticks his finger in my bowl with no glove and moves it over (he just had his hand in the trash while handling a rag & cleaning spray) I just walked out... this has happened before and the employees act rude when you speak up

I will never go to this location again I ordered a large guacamole with a small chip. The service was awful, my first red flag is when they refuse to sell me a cup of chicken protein, when I was willing to pay for it, I was told I could only have the 4 ounce cup and then when I asked (a third time) for the large gac, she took the plastic cup right in front of me squished it with her hands until it broke so the content would fall into the larger container. She thought she was going to serve me that. I then informed her I was fasting and walked out and went to Cafe Latte

Rock solid chipotle! I dined in for lunch around 12 pm on a Tuesday afternoon. It wasn't too crowded! I ordered a bowl with pollo asado with a large tortilla. The chicken was cooked perfectly and was flavored well! All the ingredients were fresh! I had white rice, pinto beans, black beans, mild salsa, 2 scoops of medium salsa, chicken pollo asado and cheese. Try the pollo asado! Also, they are short staffed! They do not do mobile ordering sometimes. Just be happy a nice chipotle like this one is open!

Never ever place an order online at Chipotle Grand Ave unless you want to wait an hour for your food, experience horrible customer service, and for them to get your order wrong. Also, wait it gets better. If you file a complaint with corporate, they will give you free chips and guac for your experience. Not sure why they think, someone waiting for their food over an hour and receiving a bowl with chicken they paid for would feel valued by someone giving them free chips and gauc. I'm sorry if I came across cheap but I am not cheap what so ever.

Chipotle... what can I say. Do yourself a favor and find a ma and pa shop Mexican restaurant. I have yet to visit a chipotle without dissatisfaction. I have ordered takeout from this location for the second time now. First time I ordered there were a few toppings missing. This time I ordered takeout and again... two items they managed to make correctly. Though the toppings were stingy as hell. Somehow one item was missing 3 out of the 6 toppings. I checked the receipt to be sure the error wasn't me. While I'm venting about chipotle... the couple times I've gone into the store to order in person the place is disgusting. Glass smudgy, tables dirty, condiment/drink station dirty. The service is always subpar at best. Not sure how a whole chain manages to do so bad as I've tried different locations. Let's just hope their sanitation is managed (doubtful) as I would hate to get food poisoning.

Not worth it.... 50% chance your pick up order will cold and wrong, the other 50% it will be 30 minutes late either way it's no good. That's all. Today ordered online for pick up, ordered two burritos both were made with the wrong ingredients. Also even though we pick up early the food was already cold. Big bummer. I talked to the manager but I have a feeling it wouldn't do much good as the problem seems to be on going. Lastly I feel sorry for the employees what a terrible place to work.

There is hardly anyone waiting for orders" to that he responds "ONLINE ONLY!" And that was it... chipotle is a joke nowadays but sometimes you get a craving ya know. Not anymore I guess!

They're consistently late, and today I waited an additional 30 minutes past my online order time and only then did they check to say it wasn't in their system (even though I showed them the email confirmation). Their solution? Make me wait in a giant line and reorder and repay. If I wasn't pregnant and desperately craving Chipotle I would absolutely have left.

The last time I came here they didn't have fucking cheese, which I gave them the benefit of the doubt for because maybe it was a bad day yk? Well today I decided to give them another chance because maybe things improved. The people in front of me seemed to be getting large portions so I assumed I was too, and there was nobody behind me so I thought I was good. But I hated that entire fucking time ordering the burrito with my entire life. Keep in mind I told the worker to double wrap my burrito because my order is larger and it may be harder to roll. I was given a decently sized portion of rice, but the beans...my fucking goodness. He gave me less than a spoonful of beans. He gave me an average ass portion of chicken. He gave me half a spoonful of queso. A small splash of red hot chili salsa. Maybe just a dab of sour cream. A tiny sprinkle of cheese. A decent sized portion of guac. But the corn....HOLY SHIT. THIS MOTHERFUCKER GAVE ME SO LITTLE CORN I COULD SEE MORE THAN HALF OF THE HOLES IN THE SPOON. And on top of that, just to finish the shitty ass burrito he created, he rolled the burrito so terribly. I genuinely didn't know if he was trying to roll a burrito or a fucking quesadilla. I was so visibly upset throughout the whole line, I even laughed out loud because of how pathetic of a burrito was made. Just to make me more upset i had to pay almost $14 for that bullshit. What the fuck happened to Chipotle giving out bigger portions because of the nationwide complaints? I guess that didn't matter to this SHITTY ass chipotle. This has ruined my entire day and I am PISSED OFF. FUCK YOU Chipotle on grand Ave I am NEVER coming back! Goodbye.

This location owes me a lot of money. Consistently items missing. I ordered guacamole today and got home - no guac in the bag. They were taking online orders only so I couldn't supervise the prep. It's not hard to read the order and put the items in the bag, yet somehow this location continues to baffle me in their ineptitude to do just that. It's infuriating - I don't understand how this location hasn't been shut down by corporate. The amount of time and frustration I've burned at this place... Just wow. Unreal.

If I could give zero stars I would. The employee with light brown dreadlocks was the single worst employee in the food industry I have ever come across. She was hostile and extremely disrespectful. When making our food bowls she put about a half scoop of chicken. When asked for more chicken (one of the bowls being a double portion that still looked like less than one full scoop), she rolled her eyes and dropped exactly two pieces of chicken into the bowl. This was followed by her (quite sternly) saying, "That is a double portion, I did two scoops. Now you want more?" Followed by a loud sigh. The next employee in the line accidentally put hot salsa in my bowl which I would have ignored except I'm not the best at handling spice. The first employee said loud enough for the whole line of people behind us to hear, "Great, now you have to make her another bowl with extra chicken." The second employee was gracious in fixing me a new bowl with a normal portion of meat but the first girl in the line was so unpleasant I refused to eat inside and took my food to go. I will never come to this chipotle location again.

The last two times I have been here have been great. Usually I don't leave reviews but I know Chipotles have been struggling with staffing issues, etc. They packed my bowl up, the ingredients tasted fresh, and it was fast. Great work!!!

First time they placed a ghetto sign they made saying dining was closed and was only accepting online orders. waited at least 40 minutes for my order even after the employee said it will only take 10 minutes if i order online. after receiving the food and eating almost half way through my burrito bowl, i found a thick black curly hair in my food. i didn't ask for a refund but made them aware of it. Second time, i ordered online-i was missing a part of my order. I asked how i could get a refund and the employee by the name of "Q" Quadair only solution was to call the cops on me. Instead of handling a simple situation, seems like getting the cops involve was easier for them.

Ordered online so I could grab dinner for the family on my way home. I ordered at 4:15 pm, for a 6:00 pm pickup time. I got there at 6:00, and it was clear they were behind by the many people waiting. I walked out with my order at 7:14 pm. Over an hour wait, for something I ordered hours in advance. A few concerns: *The employees need more help. *Online ordering shouldn't be an option if the store is backed up. *Canceling an online order is impossible. So is a refund. *One of the employees had their underwear showing. *I paid for things that weren't actually available in store. *When 20 people are waiting for their overdue orders, yet the line keeps moving for those who just walked in, it's not a good look.

Ridiculous. They cram 10 plus people at a time in the front entrance like sardines during covid and are always behind on orders so the group just grows and grows. Was informed by everyone in the lobby that this is common. I think it's completely stupid to have everyone crammed in the entrance, just open the line and put stickers on the floor and space everyone out. Why even have covid regulations if you don't follow them at all. It's a waste of everyone's time. Some people were waiting in the lobby for 40 minutes on a late order.

Ugh This Chipotle is great when you can stand in line and order in person. With COVID, we get delivery. The last 3 times the order was messed up. This last time, I ordered the veggie bowl, guacamole was "out" and they forgot the beans, gave me a tablespoon of cheese and I kid you not, ONE lettuce leaf. Pretty disappointing when beans are the main protein in the dish. I should have complained, but I just didn't have the energy.

I ordered online with a 3:50pm pickup time. I entered the store about 3:52pm and nobody was up front. After a few minutes someone came out and asked my name and then went in back to check. He told me 5 minutes. 15 minutes later and no food. The line up front was dirty. You'd think they'd keep it clean since there were no customers. A customer did eventually come in but they didn't wipe anything down after they made an order. There were multiple people in back. This is par for the score for this store. By far the worst Chipotle I've been to!

Whomever runs this place needs to pull their head out of their ***. The only restaurant that has successively messed up my orders on doordash and related apps is this location. It took three hours until someone picked up my order then when I received it it was for someone else entirely. My name is not Ishmael nor does it sound like it. My driver said he was told it was stolen two hours before. Upon looking at these comments it looks like that's some BS they regularly say to customers. Never going here again and reporting to the district. This was the last time. Insane how little people care for their work.

This poor Chipotle. I am in this building 24/7 and I have seen Chipotle struggle post COVID. From delayed Door Dash pick ups, signs posted for no chips and guac, credit cards only and varying hours - the inconsistency is a deterrent from letting this location thrive and it's really unfortunate as this is a prime location on Grand Avenue. The food is wonderful if it's made right and rang up correctly. Tonight, the man in front attempted to pay only to find out that after he left, his credit card didn't go through. Fast forward to my order and the poor cashier was scrambling and just couldn't get my order correctly. I was first overcharged and then she asked if my card was one that I put money on because it only paid for half. My card had money so I had to get refunded and finally the transaction was corrected. I give all the patience in the world to those in the service industry and my heart aches for this location. I am not sure how to make it better and I can tell they always try to work with what they have. Not an easy role - perhaps better team bonding and staffing?

Hands down the worst experience. Expect the pick-up time to be wrong by an hour. Also expect to be yelled at if this somehow upsets you. Staff is lazy, mean, and will never have the ingredients you might be looking forward to. Seating is both dirty and vacant. Oh yeah, and the toilet won't flush the orange pool of urine left by probably 100 patrons before me. Remember when chipotle was great? I sure do, and this absolutely blows. Come on people.. Make Chipotle great again.

I cannot believe what I just experienced. I was already hesitant to go here . When I got there was one person working the line and the line was very long . At some point some workers came from the back , one older gentlemen who came out and said there was no chicken . Then was slamming stuff around and while taking other proceeds to tell everyone how lazy Minnesotans are . Even stops what she doing to say that he s not from here and Minnesotans are so lazy he's never seen anything like it. My son and I left immediately left. No way we were spending money there and we were the next to be helped

It's embarrassing how poorly this restaurant is managed. The others nearby -- lowertown, highland park -- are all immeasurably faster. I drive for DoorDash and refuse to even go in here, because they're 20-30 minutes behind on every order. There's limited urgency from the staff, and rather than bring out online orders as they finish, they wait in the back until there are 7-8 finished to bring out at once. All the while, there are usually 5-10 people standing around waiting for orders with no updates from the staff. This isn't a Covid issue -- it's been like this since January. Tonight my fiancé wanted chipotle, so against my better judgment, I placed an order from here on DoorDash. The expected delivery time was 35 minutes. I placed it 43 minutes ago, and the app says the current ETA is another 30 minutes. My poor Dasher got to the restaurant 25 minutes ago. Chipotle is great. This location is awful. Avoid it at all costs -- particularly if you're ordering online.
