Chipotle Mexican Grill

Absolutely the worst experience I’ve ever had at a Chipotle. I showed up a few minutes early to pick up my order, and the gate security guard immediately started yelling at me for being there — completely uncalled for. I tried to explain that I had a mobile order, but she stood over me the entire time like I was doing something wrong. The whole vibe from the staff was awful — rude, dismissive, and acting like customers are a burden instead of the reason the place even exists. The energy here is just miserable. If this is how they treat paying customers, I’ll gladly take my business elsewhere. Management needs to be changed immediately, along with every single employee in this place — including the security guard. This location is a complete embarrassment to the Chipotle brand.

The 3 Tacos were smashed into each other; one missing guacamole. Asked if they can be re-done and they said they can add guac but that is the way. Asked for tap water but they said they ran out of plastic cups. How is this the costumer’s problem? The 3 ladies were so loud, disrespectful, uneducated. Garbage of attitude. They were cursing and mind this is a “family oriented” place. They refunded me the money for my glued tacos. We were a family of 5. They all ordered bowls but I ordered tacos.

The worst service I've ever had at a Chipotle. First of all, we entered when they were just opening, no one greeted us, they didn't have all the proteins ready. The guacamole was black like when it is old. The credit card machine to pay did not work. The plates were dirty on the outside. There was no dressing for my salad and I paid almost 3 dollars for a little bit of old guacamole. I will never return to this location.

I'm an Uber driver. Every time I come to this store, I wait 20 minutes for a takeout order. They're too lazy to even turn around and give it to me. There's no way people are this grumpy. Please don't eat here. The other reviews already tell you what this place's rating is.

The service at this restaurant is terrible. The girls on the morning shift are very rude and impolite; they know nothing about customer service. I absolutely do not recommend visiting this place. 👎

The location's customer service was exceptional, with every staff member exuding warmth and a genuine willingness to help. As soon as I walked in, I was greeted by their friendly smiles, which immediately made me feel welcomed. They swiftly attended to my needs, ensuring that my experience was enjoyable. However, my visit took a turn for the uncomfortable when I had a disconcerting encounter with the security officer on duty. Throughout my time there, she watched me intently, her gaze lingering longer than what felt appropriate, almost as if she suspected I could be involved in wrongdoing. This persistent scrutiny created a palpable sense of unease, making it difficult for me to relax. As I waited for my food, I could feel her eyes on me, heightening my anxiety and detracting from the overall pleasant atmosphere. I constantly glanced her way, interrupting my ability to savor the meal I had been looking forward to. While the attentiveness and friendliness of the restaurant staff were commendable, the oppressive glare of the security officer overshadowed what could have been a delightful outing. It was disappointing to leave with such mixed feelings, as the warm service starkly contrasted my unsettling experience with the security personnel.

At first me and friends would go here and it would be pretty decent and clean and nice workers, now there’s a bunch of ghetto business going on. It’s very dirty and there was lots of wasted food on the floor. It seems like the workers could care less. Go anywhere else if you want chipotle

Some employees are very rude and no patience broken fountain nozzle in the Diet Coke fountain, spills everywhere The worst thing is I come for food: they have Super dry meat, did they preserve their leftover from yesterday?

This one is pretty bad. The barbacoa looked like dry shredded beef. How do you eff up pre-prepared food. Then the workers are terribly unresponsive and no communicative unless screaming at each other. Close it down!

They're no longer next door to the Verizon Center (yes, that's what I still call it)! They're across the street not too far from Chop't. Since I'm not in DC much these days I'm guessing the move is fairly new. Grabbed lunch one day while in the office. I took the mobile app off my phone since mobile orders stopped working for Chipotle. At the time there wasn't much of a line. The portions are stingy and the employees not the friendliest. I'm not inclined to return to this location!

By far the worst Chipotle I've ever gone to. Workers laughed at foreign visitors ordering in front of us. Cashier went on break in the middle of my order. Do I need to say any more?

The staff at this location are not trained in allergen handling at all. The first staff I told I had a gluten allergy just looked at me blankly. She called over a manager, who seemed shocked when I asked for a glove change, and just repeated my question when I asked about changing spoons. He begrudgingly changed spoons and the first employee just ignored my request and started making the bowl without using new spoons. It was incredibly disappointing that you both a regular employee and a manager were totally clueless about allergens and cross contamination. This is drastically different from most Chipotle locations I've visited across multiple states. The pollo asada left much to be desired and portions were tiny.

Worst Chipotle hands down! Just left this establishment and they continue to refuse to give me plain white rice. The staff is horrible and need proper training on accommodating guest with allergies!

This Chipotle Mexican Grill on 7th Street in DC is a great place to go for everything that you need in a Chipotle and more. I have been happy with all of the orders that I have made from here. The staff here provides excellent customer service here.

If there was an award for the worst chipotle restaurant, this location would win it with flying colors. The restaurant is always dirty always missing stuff such as napkins, hot sauce, and they are fountains for drinks are filthy and to add to that the staff are very rude. I have not met any nice person there. Everybody is rude. I wonder who the manager is and why they haven't been fired yet

This Chipotle is great because it gives you a good portion for your bowl. They don't hold back! I had a quick lunch w friends and it we were pleased.

Customer service at this location is absolutely horrible. Server who made my food practically threw my food down the food line and was completely disinterested in doing their job, had an attitude the entire time me and my co worker were placing our order. The server half mumbled throughout and was rude when we were able to hear. My coworker had ordered some brown rice and they said that they were out when there was a huge pan of rice was behind them just sitting there. The server claimed that the rice was only for online orders was not able to provide it to customers who were in person. The store was also messy with trash all over the floor. Will not return to this location.

This chipotle absolutely sucks! The people serving the food make the food looks so unattractive because of their poor attitude, no smiles on their face and it seem as if they don't wanna work. The serving of meat is literally a spoon of meat and the food area is filthy not clean. The tables are all dirty and you have to ask them to clean the table which is cleaned with an attitude and it still not clean. I do not recommend anyone eating here and food taste terrible. The taco has no meat--just a mess.

Lazy staff, never stocked with food, bad attitudes. Exactly how you should expect the Chinatown chipotle.

Hands down one of the best experiences I've had as someone with Celiac/gluten dietary restriction. What a kindness to be treated with respect by knowledgeable staff who got that Celiac is life-threatening, often misunderstood illness, and not an annoyance or a choice. Many thanks to the staff who took care of me and my Celiac family. When Kamiyah took my order, she not only changed her gloves but she also took the ingredients from the back so they would not be cross contaminated!! She also cleared the path on the line and communicated to other staff members that she was making a dietary restricted order and she could not touch other things. Kamiyah's examplory customer service and respectful consideration of my dietary needs made me feel confident that she knew what she was doing. She was patient and outstanding. To the manager of this location: please ensure to praise Kamiyah and staff working at this location for creating this kind of environment in a busy restaurant in 2022. Please reward Kamiyah for her amazing work, and from the bottom of my a heart and my family - thank you.
