The Best Fall 2022 TV Shows About Food | Eater

"A notorious male-stripper nightclub whose founder Somen “Steve” Banerjee built a lucrative club empire that unraveled into scandal and darker misconduct; its rise and fall are dramatized in a Hulu series based on an investigative podcast, promising portrayals of 1980s excess and the dangerous pursuit of power behind the glamour." - Erin DeJesus

Living near Fremont Street Experience, I've seen the Chippendale's booth a number of times so I thought I would check out the actual show to see what the fuss was about, and overall, I'm glad I did. Being pretty new to Las Vegas and not knowing a ton of people yet, I went solo. The first thing I noticed was that the venue is a lot more compact and intimate than I was expecting, which I think is a positive. I'm a bit of an introvert so I was stepping outside my comfort zone a bit though I like to do that from time to time. Though I actually selected a seat towards the back, I was upgraded to a second row seat, and I wasn't sure what was going to happen. Though I had a few favorites (Andres, Iury, and another guy whose name I didn't catch), all of these men are very attractive, and the cast is diverse so there's something here for everyone. There are a number of hot fantasy-driven scenes, and I particularly enjoyed the Purple Rain shower sequence. I will add that this show may not be for the faint of heart. It is clear that Chippendales is marketed largely toward the female demographic, and I was only one of a handful of men in the audience. It is presumed that at least most of the cast are heterosexual (and being like a lot of gay men, I have a bit of an obsession with straight men) so I expected most of the interaction to be with females in the audience. While that is true, they do make an effort to acknowledge the men as well. A few of the guys came up to me and let me rub on their chest, which was unexpected but very nice. I was also asked to come on stage for a small bit, but I politely declined as I wasn't really sure what to expect and being a bit naturally nervous about things like that. Maybe next time -- especially if I have a drink before. Overall, I would recommend the show to those who appreciate the male physique and want to see it up close and personal in a fun, high energy environment.

Yelp
I had a group of 12 ladies at the show to celebrate my birthday and we had a blast! This was my first time seeing the show since its move from the LINQ, and the energy, talent, and entertainment value were absolutely unmatched. While the new venue is more intimate, the show has been masterfully reimagined to fit the space without sacrificing an ounce of thrill. From the jaw-dropping acrobatics to the electrifying choreography, Ryan Kelsey's insane guitar skills and Jason Michael's vocals, every moment was a feast for the senses. And of course, the cast--a lineup of impossibly stunning, chiseled performers--delivered an experience that was as sizzling as it was spectacular. Hands down, still the BEST male revue in town! Get here, ladies!
