Lucky us that our planned location was a dude. Nice to discover a new spot. Food was good. Bar was hopping with costume party contests and karaoke. We'll be back!

First time here!! We had a small birthday party we attended. Drove up from Pittsburgh, worth it! So romantic inside! Dark and cozy. We had dinner outside on the patio. Was startled to go thru the kitchen to get to the back.....seems a bit unsafe and.... not clean??? Never experienced that before. Lolol. Next time, just walk around the building. The food was amazing. My salad in the taco bowl, no meat or olives... so good!!!! I really want to go back soon. I will be ordering the same thing next time!!!

Great food but if you speak your mind the owner will walk you out based on your speech and beliefs. To each their own and God bless but if you wanna be treated like garbage instead of a customer this is the place for you. Find out for yourself

Great place with good food. I had the pizza which was pretty good. The place has a cozy vibe inside and a nice patio out back. The way to get to the patio is odd....through the kitchen....but it works I guess lol. We'll be back!

I have came here for many different occasions and always had a pleasant experience. The drinks are great, the food is great! The staff are friendly. Miranda is a wonderful bartender. She always strives to make customers feel comfortable and keeps it fun! She excels even when it is busy and is very attentive to customers. She certainly tries her best to ensure that everyone has a good experience.

My beautiful wife brought me here for my birthday, first time having dinner here, absolutely fantastic! Enjoyed the vibe there, will returning soon

Don't go Ordered a appetizer waited 20 minutes When the other waitress brought it out She never ask the other waitress were it was to go so she gave it to other customers This is the only place I know that charges for a refill of soda tomato on sandwich was bad Was charged for a beer and when I ask Her about it she said I drank that beer When it was the lady be me drinking it We should have never entered that place

The hard part about reviewing bars from your hometown is that a lot of the review happens to be based on the people you run into there. You might see someone you had forgotten about and end up having a really good night reminiscing, or you may be unlucky and have an old nemesis sit down right next to you. At Chippers I've experienced both. Overall its not a bad setup. Two big screen TVs behind the bar, a jukebox with the usual bar assortment, and two lofts, one for just sitting and the other with a pool table. Take note that if you don't like cigarette smoke then you will probably hate it here. It seems like EVERYONE is blowing out more smoke than the Clariton Cokeworks. Prices are good. $1.25 for a 12oz draft and 2.50 for a well mix drink. I'm kinda thinking that they pour the mixed drinks a little weak, either that or I've built a ridiculous tolerance, cause I had quite a few and wasn't really feeling it. Chippers also has one of the larger bottled beer selections in Meadville. The wings are good if you are feeling food, otherwise I haven't tried anything on the menu.

Chippers does two things well: Wings and Beer. But if you can do those things well, why would you need to worry about anything else? The wings come in a decent variety of flavors. If you're looking for something zesty, try the Chippers' Lickers. More mellow tastes should go for the Brown Beavers, which is a combination of A-1 and Honey. There are some great beer choices on tap, as well as a diverse selection of bottled beers. The only drawback is the smoky atmosphere: I've been to Chippers when no one in the bar is smoking, yet leave reeking of smoke. If this sounds like a dealbreaker, then know that Chippers does have carryout! Walk your wings down Chestnut and enjoy some great wings at Diamond Park.

I come here for the wings and Guinness. If you're in downtown Meadville in the evening and you're looking for good wings, this is the place to go. They have a pretty long list of varieties, and having tried quite a number of them, you can't go wrong with many of them. Service is decent, though there aren't many tables. Considering it is, foremost, a bar, that's to be expected. Chipper's also serves a nice variety of draft and bottled beers for the area including Guinness on tap, and yes, they know how to properly pour the Guinness. That is worth a star alone. There is an upstairs area for gaming as well as the downstairs bar / dining area. Just keep in mind it tends to get very packed on the weekends while Allegheny is still in session.

Always have a great time here! Great beer selection, knowledgeable bar tenders and the food is classic bar food but, it's just a step above! Try the Guinness Stew, if you like thick, flavorful stews, you won't be disappointed!

Great atmosphere, good food, great bartenders. The owners are awesome. The burgers and nachos are the best.

Great little bar!!! Love goin in there. They have an awesome selection of beers and spirtis for u to choose from. Also I am a member of the Steel City Mafia at this bar. What is that u may be asking? Well its a club that u pay to get into and u get a steel city mafia shirt and a membership card that will take 10% off your food oreder all day any day!! GO STEELERS!!!!

wings are way, Way, Way over priced. & then they Jack you for the Celery & Blue Cheese too! Damn, man that's harsh!!!

order a steak salad NO ONIONS to go and Still got onions. called up to get a new one and tell the cook i ordered NO onions and she said oh you cant pick them out i did not pay 11.00 bucks for something i did not order and she said ok no tomatoe s? again i had to say say NOOOOOO ONIONS Bad cook
