Chip's Old Fashioned Hamburgers

This is a hidden gem !!! From the moment we walked in, it felt like a close knit southern restaurant. It was quiet and very welcoming. Now let's get to the food! The 1/3 pound beef burger was made soooo fresh. From the poppy seed bun, that was toasted with the right amount of crisp w/ the butter on the bun 😋. I ordered sunny side egg over medium with grilled mushrooms, cheese, and bacon. All burgers came with lettuce, onions, tomatoes, and pickles. Yall the ingredients all put together was so amazing. I will give it a 10 out of 10. I also ordered the loaded cheese fries. I will give it a 8 out of 10. It came with cheese, bacon, ranch, and jalapeño that added the right amount of spice! Oh! Dont forget the ranch on the side. Ranch makes it taste better!!!!! I gave it an 8 due to the fries being a little too hard for my liking. I forgot yall!!!! The burger place has a bar!!!! With multiple tvs to watch. Likeeee who you know???😂😂. While we waited on our food we recieved free fountain drinks!!! Yall they had the good ice too 🫠 im an ice lover. Love that this solid burger joint is just a couple blocks away here in Oak Cliff. The burgers are always consistent which almost never happens and somehow taste even better every time. Today I crushed a 1/3 pound cheeseburger with jalapenos, super juicy, perfectly grilled, melty cheese, and a big, satisfying patty. It’s definitely my go to spot whenever a burger craving hits. And the freshly made milkshakes.. So good I honestly wish they had a smaller size, because they’re dangerously delicious. The strawberry is my favorite!

This was my first time visiting Chip’s and this was the best food I have had in Dallas. Sydney was wonderful and helped me put my portabello mushroom burger. The burger sent my taste buds for a ride. The peanut butter pie is chefs kiss. I honestly don’t want to share news on this pie because I know it will sell out but I believe I found love. In a pie😍😍😍🥰🥰🥰. I can not wait to visit again.

As a dallasite ive been here a few times. I like how it is connected to the bar and still has a family friendly side. Prices are fair. Parking is around rhe budding but can seem limiting. There is inside and outside seating. Plus a bakery in side. The menu seems even for a few things. I have tried the nachos yet but look forward to it. The burger is nicely set up. The veges are good. The condiments are on the table. The fries nd tots are good. Nicely seasoned. I think the patty is a little dense. The service was pleasant and attentive.

This place was amazing! My family and I went there to catch up and eat some really good food. We were all really impressed. It was my first time there, and I tried everything on the menu, and it was all delicious. I highly recommend it! I’m definitely going back soon.

Been wanting to check this place out for a while as it is in my neighborhood. The food was perfect. Hamburgers, fried cheese, fried mushrooms, cheese fries. We enjoyed it all. Nothing fancy. Just really good food. A little warm inside after coming in from the heat. I'll be back here soon.

I had 1/2 hamburger with fries, burger was great, and good size for the price and fries were salted good with the right amount of crunch Loaded fries look good and tasted better, can be a meal on it own. The chicken salad and pork chop plate went down well with the coworkers I went with, so the food and the service are great. The only bad thing is that the inside of the restaurant is pretty small and the parking is very limited, especially if you have a big vehicle. Also, theburger and fries are al a carte. But prices are reasonable and they are located close to downtown, so that's a plus. In closing, I would definitely recommend this restaurant and would visit there again.

The chili is a must have! The staff is very welcoming. Plenty of seating they even have an outside area to eat. The loaded fries is enough to feed four people. You can never go wrong with the burgers. My family loved it here!
