Chiquita Scoops - Review - Gladstone Park - Chicago - The Infatuation

"Gladstone Park has a new destination for frozen treats: Chiquita Scoops. This Mexican ice cream shop serves flavors like cheesecake, cookies and cream, and mango de leche, along with bigger indulgences such as banana splits, churros, and its signature “wacky waffle.” The decor is usually colorful, likea real-life Candyland, and right now the shop is full offestive Christmas decorations." - Nick Allen

Absolutely loved this little ice cream shop! The ice cream was incredibly delicious — rich, creamy, and full of flavor. Joel was so sweet and made the whole experience even better with his kindness and great energy. It’s rare to find a place that feels this welcoming and serves such amazing treats. We’ll definitely be coming back! 🍦✨

Had to check this spot out. The staff is friendly and the offer different desserts for the whole family. Their green tamale is a must! Very authentic and spicy. Hot chocolate is flavorful. The jello (gelatina) and concha are also delicious. The place is cozy with Christmas decor for cute pictures! Kids loved the icecream!

We had the honor of being the very first customers when I got the date of the grand opening mixed up! (hello, pregnancy brain) The owners were the NICEST letting us come in anyways, and the ice cream was amazing. We will be back very soon with our new baby!

The best ice cream in Chicago! Visit this new small business for yummy ice cream, paletas, Agua Fresca, and food items. They have a beautiful mural inside too that’s great for photo opportunities!

Yelp
The shop is adorable! The service is great! We got two elotes ( delish), churros and pan de muerto. Everything is delish and tastes fresh. I'm glad this shop finally opened! The area definitely need a Mexican spot for ice cream. I definitely recommend and will be back for more. Plus the owners are super nice and attentive.

Yelp
Wow! The ambiance, the service, the customers, the prices all fell in place! Great and amazing owners and staff! Including their princess! This place has pretty much everything! Culture! Snacks! And the best customer service! I had a elote, chicken tamales, and their ice cream (pistachio and coconut) I also got some candies for the ride back home!! It was amazing and I will return! So glad to have tried this! Worth the circling around for parking as they just had their grand opening!

Yelp
Thrilled to have this new place in the neighborhood! Such a fun atmosphere, everything we tried was great. Unique flavors of ice cream, and paletas! And if you're not in the mood for ice cream...the tamales are some of the best I have ever had.
