Food was absolutely perfect. My wife and I had their house margarita and a mojito. The drinks were delicious. Their plantains were out of this world. I had the lobster roll and it was perfect! My wife got the white fish basket. They were extremely busy and the general manager (Becca) came out and informed us they only had 2 white filets left when the dish comes with 3. She asked if there was anything we could add to the basket to make up for the missing filet. My wife chose the fried shrimp. The staff took care of us and continually apologized for the inconvenience. They were absolutely incredible (especially Becca for her attentiveness and attitude). I highly recommend them to anyone who loves seafood and incredible drinks!

Google
Ubered here from the airport to experience the beltline. Stumbled upon this place and it was FANTASTIC. wings are a must have. Frozen drinks incredible too. Tacos also great - Baja fried fish are the way to go!! Vibe - sports bar but “beachy” / outdoorsy. Cornhole and big screens. Bartenders and wonderful and so personable, we had a great time and it was only 11am. Cannot recommend enough!!!

Google
Grabbed a quick, casual lunch here for the first time today. I can see this place totally popping off during the warmer months with its beach vibes & open green space with ample outdoor seating. Service was A+. Super friendly & accommodating. Food was fresh & tasty. We opted for the fish sandwiches & were not disappointed. Even the tartar sauce was bright & herbaceous. Sides of fries, cucumber salad, & plantains were excellent. Rounded it off with a Red Stripe for the Mr. & a Margarita for me (house made mix made with fresh squeezed citrus). With tip it was $85+ so I can see why some might consider this pricey for average portions. The only bummer? While tasty, the margarita was pretty weak. Overall, if I was in the area for lunch, I wouldn't hesitate to eat here again.

Google
I will say it was easy to order online. Paloma was disappointing and for $13 no rim of any type nor lime which I needed as the flavor of the drink was really lacking compared to many I’ve had in the past at other restaurants. Ordered 2 fresh fish and 2 shrimp tacos and fried pickles. We got 3 shrimp tacos and 1 fish and also didn’t have right toppings. For $5.50 more I wanted to get the order correct but my husband said it wasn’t worth waiting in the crazy line again. The fish portion small. Fried pickles batter was thick and overcooked. Maybe an off night?

The food and atmosphere is pretty nice. I can recommend it

Google
The place is good, nice place to hangout they have some games to play indoor like uno, monopoly and more. The food was decent, it’s a most popular place to grab some drinks. I don’t like their customer service because when I went up to order the lady was so rude, it was my first time visiting this place so I asked her which drink would she recommend and she didn’t respond to me and acted like she didn’t hear and she started talking the other people who ordered before me and just kept bragging about her husband and his football career.

Google
Many gluten free options and the service is great. Lots of beverages options are available. This place is dog friendly to well behaved dogs and there is ample space outside for families. The fried shrimp basket was the best gluten free shrimp we have had. Couldn’t tell it was GF. Thanks. We will be back!

Google
Great atmosphere and margaritas. We often come here with friends and family. The food can be a hit or a miss, but lately it was mostly miss. Especially the fries, soggy and lukewarm. Please improve your fries quality.

Yelp
Great drinks Strong drinks the way I like them Great menu Nice variety Quick service

Yelp
Food was good would've liked to try some of their other offerings! Came here before with some other yelpers and decided to go back on my own. Glad I did.

Yelp
This place could very well be my favorite spot in downtown. Especially being gluten free, the options are endless. Staff is always super friendly, the vibes are great with indoor and outdoor seating. The fish is super fresh! Margaritas on point. Definitely recommend!

Yelp
Chiringa is an Alpharetta staple! The staff, the food, and the owners are all incredible humans and love serving people who visit. Lauren, Bekah, and Logan are just the absolute best! They recently added a few new menu items -- the queso and the shrimp Crab fitters (almost tastes like a crab cake) were so good! The wings will always be one of my favorites and ah, the shrimp tacos are superb!
google avatar

Yelp
Amongst the nastiest food I've ever had. No seasoning whatsoever and the underside of the plantains were completely burned. Do not waste your time, the food literally tastes like cardboard. You are charged per taco, per plantain, I had to laugh because what??? Was I going to be charged per lemon for the lemonade?
google avatar

Yelp
My first time trying this spot at the recommendation of a friend. The menu had several items that sounded good, like shrimp and fish baskets. The fresh catch or the day was red snapper so I tried the blackened sandwich with their house fries and was disappointed. The fish was overcooked that it was stiff and hard no seasoning and both the fish and fries were greasy. We did arrive around lunch time. The wait for our meal was long and then the sandwich was warm.others in my group liked their wings and tacos but this was not satisfactory for the price . The best thing is the outdoor seating area overlooking the green in the downtown Alpharetta area. Not sure if I can recommend but your experience may be better. Sorry but this was not a good meal.

Yelp
As soon as I walked in the door, one of the partners said hello to me. It literally surprised me; I wasn't expecting that. But, boy, was I impressed. The young lady who took my order was very caring regarding my food sensitivities. She even came to my table while I was dining to be sure that everything was as I anticipated. The atmosphere is eclectic, which I appreciate. And, importantly for a southern girl, the iced tea was good. But let's talk about the tacos! I was able to get FRIED Snapper fish tacos! Gluten-free! You know I got one of each. Yes, you do. Anyway, I enjoyed my meal, and I know you will, too, so come on over!

Yelp
To start positive, the customer service is fantastic. 5 stars. Super nice ladies, nice location and coastal decor. Today, all I wanted was good food for lunch. I had a taste for lobster and I couldn't wait for dinner to get it. For one, none of the food was hot. It was not crowded, and when I called, she said 15mins, so I assumed it was made to order. Did not taste that way. I arrive under 15mins, the bag was already packaged ready to go like it had been sitting there. I ordered 6 jerk wings, not hot, all drums with one flat, that's crazy, fried plantains (I thought online said 6, I got 3) they were barely warm and slightly hard. I didn't finish them, and what I came for the lobster roll. The lobster roll was $29, small, chewy, lacking flavor, and the roll slight burned on the bottom. It came with fries. As soon as I got to the car I rushed to open the fries so the could ventilate and not get soggy. No need, from the 15 steps to the car, fries ice cold like they been sitting for and hour. The super skinny fries that get cold fast anyway but they were not even lukewarm. I'm total I spent $50! On a lunch that was not good. I'm so mad at myself it's ridiculous. Disappointing. Lastly, good luck with parking. I just do happened to get a shot right in front of the restaurant, in handicap. I was not circling around I'm sorry. I just parked ran in and out. All street parking. I don't know where that area accommodates everyone. Hater I wasted my money. Terrible.

Yelp
New to the area and I swear by Yelp! It saved me during my starting times in PA. Grateful to say Chiringa didn't under deliver. The atmosphere, large tv, attentive waitstaff everything great! The shrimp basket was delicious and my other half got the chicken sandwich. Delicious!!! Make sure to grab a margarita!

Yelp
We came here for a late lunch, early dinner before heading to a concert at Ameris Bank Amphitheatre. Downtown Alpharetta is as charming as it sounds! There are tons of restaurants and shops and kids playing in the water fountain when we came here. There is street parking and public parking towards the back. Crowd was picking up when we got here on a Saturday afternoon around 4:30 pm and we luckily grabbed a spot. From the parking lot, it's a short walk to Chiringa. It was our first time here and I was thrown off not expecting it to be counter service. While we enjoyed everything we ordered, price point wise, we found it moderate to expensive. My husband and I ordered a small guacamole, 12 pc chicken wings, power bowl with grilled shrimp and a cocktail - this cost about $63 including tip. They offer fish at market price, which was snapper on the day we visited for additional $29!!! Their lobster rolls were about the same price, so we opted out of those. The vibes here was beach casual. It's definitely a local joint because the workers knew people coming in by name. Also a very dog-friendly space, which I loved because I have dogs of my own but I would take into consideration if you're not much of a dog person. Food-wise, I found their food a tad too salty. The guacamole was delicious and came right away. The tortillas served with the guacamole were freshly made. I was underwhelmed with my power bowl - it came with brown rice, beans, arugula, plantains, grilled shrimp and side of salsa and cilantro sauce. My favorite was the cilantro sauce. Even though I was underwhelmed with the size of my bowl, it ended up being the perfect portion as I wasn't overly full. The wings were delicious, but again kind of salty. It had a nice spice from the rub too. This is a solid choice if you're in the area. Glad I got to try it!

Yelp
Family 9 ate inside various ages. Everyone got The food they wanted from burgers to lobster rolls. Both were enjoyed! Lobster Roll left the basket fast a yummy treat. Personally I had pan seared snapper sandwich I really enjoyed. Kids had tenders enjoyed them also. Great to have eclectic menu for all to enjoy. Great to have full bar. Ambiance was perfect overlooking the village green. Seating in or out. Awesome. Staff does a great job and they seem to enjoy their jobs.

Yelp
I've been wanting to try Chiringa for a while now--finally did. It was good! The food was fresh. The inside was decorated in a way that made you feel like you were eating by the ocean. I had the lemon basil chicken salad sandwich and the cucumber salad for my side. Others with me had the Greek salad and the fried shrimp and they both loved their food. Would visit again.

Yelp
Very nice place for downtown Alpharetta area! It's different in terms of seating and ordering style is at the counter, most seating is outside so if it gets busy, you may have to get things to go. Food is good but spicy! I just got shrimp and Mahi tacos and also chips and salsa. Everything is a la carte so you order what you want. They have alcoholic beverages and the restaurant has a beach vibe feel to it. Parking is all along the street or in the parking garage with a short walk. Service is friendly and food came out in an ok amount of time. I'd love to come back and try more !

Noah A.

Yelp
Cool vibes Great food Nice downtown area. Fast service. You order at the counter and the waiter will be clout your order. I recommend the fish tacos and a margarita

Yelp
I want to give a shout out to the Alpharetta Chiringa restaurant. The compliment isn't so much about food or drink but more about the effort the restaurant gives to being good neighbors and welcoming to everyone. It is located adjacent to our Alpharetta City Center green space. The restaurant owner/manager works hard to provide fun things for families to do and no one gets upset about the many people (often who may not be a customer) using the restroom or the outdoor seating. Everyone is always pleasant, upbeat and welcoming! Food is very good. Drinks are good and reasonably priced. Just a nice, casual atmosphere all around! A great ambassador restaurant for Alpharetta City Center. Thanks Chiringa for being a part of our thriving community!! Be sure to give it a try if you haven't already!

Yelp
We have since returned and tried some of the food. Hubs and I were blown away! We were also very satisfied with our margaritas - more so than the first time. We opted to upgrade the tequila to Casamigos and I am happy we did. We tried the following: Mahi Mahi Sandwich ($19.99) Cheeseburger ($13.99) 24oz Ringa Rita with Casamigos ($14.25 + $4) The fish sandwich, while pricey, was dreamy. The fish was so perfectly fried and seasoned. So juicy and flavorful! The bun it was served with was amazing. The side of fries was super satisfying and well seasoned. For a fried fish sandwich and a side of fries, it was not at all greasy or heavy. (Or perhaps that was the tequila!) The burger was amazing. Amazing. So juicy, great amount of cheese, also great bun. I opted for a side of fries sweet plantains instead of fries and I feel so fortunate to have had that option. I love plantains so much - so it was really nice to have an option for the side dish. Our lunch was pricey for two sandwiches and two drinks - $77 and change. That said, we cannot wait to go back. The quality and taste of the food and drinks is really amazing. I am a firm believer of you get what you pay for! I am happy to return here and pay the price tag. There was live music at the time we visited and the musician was so sweet singing for the little girl up front with him. It was really nice to watch. I love all the seating with umbrellas to provide some shade. It's becoming our favorite spot to hangout in downtown! We cannot wait to return to try more of the food and another round of 'ritas!

Yelp
The beau and I stopped by after we went hiking. Super cute spot. Plenty of outside dining available. There's a lawn area next to the place so you can bring a blankey and make it a picnic date!! I ordered the fish sandwich (market rate). You can get it grilled, fried or blackened. Fish of the day today was mahi-mahi. I chose grilled and got it with fries. Comes with tomatoes, arugula and a lemon aioli. The mahi was seasoned very well. I love when places get it eight and don't serve "fishy" tasting fish. It was a large portion and was way bigger than the bun. No problems there! Lol. I just cut off the extra and ate it by itself to make it more manageable to eat. The fries were really good too! Seasoned to perfection and had a great combo of crispy fries and not so crispy. The beau ordered the bacon and guacamole burger with plantains as the side. Comes with cheddar and pepper jack cheeses, arugula, tomatoes, and red onion. He said the burger was really good and some how it disappeared within minutes. Lol. The guac was delicious! He also had a sauce that I'm assuming came with the plantains. It was a salsa verde and was so yummy!! I dipped my fries in it but the game changer was when I dipped his plantains in it. Clutch my pearls!! My tastebuds did a happy dance for sure! If you love that sweet and savory mix, definitely give it a try!! We both also ordered the OG Frozen Margarita. Got a chance to dip on that while we waited for our food. You order inside and then you can seat yourself outside. They text when your food is ready so you can come back in and pick it up. The Margarita was very tasty, pretty tart, which I loved. They have 16 and 24 oz available. Their drink menus has a decent amount of options to try as well. Love this place and would definitely come back. I want to try one of the bowls and the lobster roll.

Yelp
Another A+ experience with our kids today. The restaurant had a special low country boil event going on with live music and free birthday cake. We were a little concerned at first that we were crashing someone's private party, but the attendant serving the cake assured us the event was for everyone...just to celebrate Spring's arrival. I didn't catch her name but she was so bubbly and helpful. It was just as packed as on our first visit, if not more so, but the service was still excellent. The low country boil was so yummy and our kids (who are notoriously picky) gobbled up the food so quickly that we got another order for them to split. Two different managers stopped by to check on us during our meal and the general manager circled back around a few minutes after her first visit to the table to bring our dog a treat! This is definitely going to be our regular weekend hangout spot this Spring/Summer. Our kids had a blast running around the big turf area with other kids...which gaven my husband and I an opportunity to enjoy a cocktail in peace. Win/win! (and I should also mention that the cocktails are ALL so good....and made with fresh squeezed citrus fruit)

Yelp
Food was good, service was great. Pleasant ambience. Well priced Food was good, service was great. Pleasant ambience, staff were great and friendly.

Yelp
The food and margaritas here are FANTASTIC. I would recommend it for take out though. There was outdoor seating, but we didn't see tables cleaned once while we were there. There is outdoor ordering as well, but the tables are not super spaced out. It was still packed pretty tight, but may be better during off hours. I love the margaritas here and would recommend. They are so tasty and pack quite a punch. The guac and chips are also really good. I got the fish tacos and they were quite pricier than the other tacos, $8 vs $3. But it was really fresh and delicious so I would say it was worth it. Definitely stop by. This is a great addition to the Alpharetta area.

Yelp
Chiringa is located next to the green space in Downtown Alpharetta and it's a small, self-service beach bar and restaurant offering alcoholic drinks to-go, tacos, fried chicken and more. I wasn't super hungry so I just had the Paloma cocktail, it was served in a big plastic cup and it was strong! My friend had the baja tacos and enjoyed it. It is a very casual atmosphere and the food and drinks are all served in plastic/to-go style. You can sit outside and enjoy the weather on a nice sunny day.
google avatar

Nicholas P.

Yelp
Chiringa is a really good. They have plenty of gluten free options and their service is great it's just very spicy if you get the Baja tacos. The Calamari is probably the best. Recommend this place.

Yelp
We went to Chiringa March 2nd. Happiness is a day at the beach, and we all need a little beach right now. That's what you'll get at Chiringa in Alpharetta; it's like walking into a surfside bar. From the sweetness of perfect plantains, to healthy blackened fish tacos, to meaty wings, flavorful bowls, and the perfect beach drink, Chiringa has serious eats, warm beach vibes, and breezy cocktails. Can you smell the salt in the air and a warm ocean breeze? We can too, let's dive into a surfside food adventure. Starting with the breezy cocktails, imagine a cool Shandy or the perfectly frozen Froze while you listen to the waves crash on the sand. That's Chiringa. We loved both! The Shandy was fresh-squeeze lemonade paired with Grayton Beach's 30A Blonde Ale. It was refreshing and lemony-sweet with the right amount of beer and lemonade. Drinkable and fresh, it's an all-day sipper! If you go to Chiringa this spring or summer, the must-get drink is definitely their Froze. A mix of vodka, lemon, and strawberry, its sweet and tart, one unbelievable adult slushie. The perfect beach-day cocktail. What impressed us most about Chiringa was the quality and flavor of the food. For a fast-casual type restaurant, this is on another level. Every single thing they have on the menu is delicious! Our first taste were the wings. We have wings A LOT and these are our favorite so far this year. They were very meaty and you can taste Springer Mountain Farms quality in every bite. On top, the glaze was the perfect blend of spicy, savory, and sweet. It grows spicier as you eat, so use the ranch dip to cool it down. These were paired with fries, which were also very good. Perfect companion with the wings. Tip: find the fries sitting in the wing glaze, dip in ranch! Enjoy. Being a beach-centric place, they have a ton of healthy eating options and the blackened Mahi Tacos were just that, whether you get a tortilla or get it as a lettuce wrap, it's fresh all the way around! The fish was perfectly seasoned, plump, and tender, topped with pickled onions, lettuce, jalapeno, and a rich chipotle creama. It was a balanced dish you could get without the creama to make it low calorie, diet friendly. We added some avocado for even more creaminess. You wouldn't think this was healthy because it's so good, but it is. Sounds like the perfect stop for your next Taco Tuesday. Staying on the healthy kick, the Core 57 bowl has it all! Hearty black beans, rice, tender chicken, arugula, cilantro sauce, plantains, and avocado. What an amazing, delectable bowl that mixes a ton of flavors into a crescendo of everything from savory, sweet, to creamy. Most surprising the sweetness of the plantains to the savory of the beans and creaminess of the avocado all worked so well together on the palate. To make it even better, we mixed the cilantro sauce and the ranch from the wings and added some of it the bowl to taste. Insert heart-eye emoji here. Amazing! I'm (Liz) is still thinking about this dish. My favorite.

Yelp
This place is awesome to come and let the kids play in the field at downtown Alpharetta. The patio tables are the best but fill up quick. This place is always packed. You order online and then they email when it's ready for pickup. They play music over the speakers so you can hear it outside. Food is great, my husband order jerk wings and loved it and I order their tacos which are good.

Yelp
I got a shrimp and fry basket. The shrimp tasted straight up like chlorine. Taste was not pleasant at all. Not coming back for sure I'm sorry I am just being true

Yelp
I've been wanting to go to Chiringa for awhile, but can never make my way to Alpharetta. Last weekend I was in the area so I finally got the opportunity to go. It was pretty cold that night so when we got there, there wasn't a huge crowd. We were able to go right to the counter and order. I ordered the Core 57 bowl and added grilled chicken. It did take a bit of time for our food to come out and while I think it's nice to have connections with regular customers, that took away from us get tying or food out promptly. Where we were sitting I could see when our food came up, but both waitresses were talking to another customer and failed to check for when food came up. Not to mention we were starving. When we finally got our food it was just average. I do I'd enjoy the sauce that came with it because it did add flavor to the bowl. I felt the chicken was a bit dry and could've used a bit more seasoning, but when you ate everythung together with thee sauce it was better. I will day the plantains were w cooked very well, and I really enjoyed those. It had a nice crispy coating on the outside, and a sweet softness on the inside. The atmosphere was nice and laid back. I didn't realize how small of a space it was thought while it has somewhat of a bar feel, it may be difficult if you have a large group. I'm not sure how busy theey get during weekends especially during big games and football seasoon, but something to note. As mentioned before, I thought it was average, but I'd go back again to try some of their other options that caught my attention.

Yelp
So yummy! I've wanted to try this place for several months. Was finally in the area so gave it a shot. Amazing flavors! The froze is soooo good! My husband had the chicken sandwich- it was SO yummy. Fries are delicious, shoestring style. I had the guacamole- really good flavor & delicious homemade chips. Disappointed there weren't any plantain chips- it was supposed to be a mixed variety. I had the Baja style fried fish taco. The Baja flavors were on point. I DO NOT RECOMMEND any fish in the state of Georgia. The Mahi was spoiled, brown & reeking. I couldn't eat it. I will try the chicken taco next time. I've had fish in Georgia multiple times now and every time it's inedible. I'm from Seattle and unfortunately been spoiled with delicious, fresh fish there. If fish is spoiling, you should not be serving It.

Yelp
Chiringa has my heart! Chiringa is a counter service restaurant that serves clean proteins, fresh fish, and a full-bar including fresh-squeezed juices for cocktails. The menu is simple. They offer dips, salads, handhelds, bowls, and lots of sauces. They have a laid back, beachy vibe. The space is bright, open, and decorated with colorful kites. Indoor and outdoor seating available. During my visit, I tried the following: Frosé $10 Chop Chop Bowl with Blackened Chicken $9.99 Guacamole with half fried corn tortillas and half fried plantains $9.99 Their mottos are "Eat Well. Fly High" and "Elevated Beach Food." I believe they stay true to that. Although some of the items are a bit on the pricey side, you can tell the food is made with fresh, quality ingredients, and tons of flavor! Beware, the drinks are strong and delicious! The staff are friendly and attentive. The location is great. It's right in the heart of downtown Alpharetta, next to the lawn and fountain. Plenty of street and garage parking available. I will be back soon!

Yelp
The food, service and atmosphere is amazing! I ordered the wings - phenomenal with a side of fries!! I also ordered the blackened chicken Boja Tacos which was so good but then got upset when coworker opened her box and she ordered the blackened shrimp. Nicola, one of the workers there had the cook fix me one up before I had left. Hands down amazing food and amazing service!!!!!!!!! I'm definitely going back!

Yelp
This was the first time we've been to this restaurant and really enjoyed it! We went around 8pm on a Wednesday so it wasn't very crowded. They had a ton of TVs on sports channels which I wasn't expecting. I definitely would come here to watch a game. We asked for food recommendations from the employee who took our order at the front counter. I ended up ordering the fresh Mahi Mahi (fish of the day) sandwich with sweet plantains. The fish itself was amazing! I recommend trying it with "Awesome" sauce. They have a bunch of sauces to choose from which are made from scratch. Awesome sauce has about 15 different ingredients in it. It made the Mahi Mahi extra tasty. The sweet plantains were also very good and very fresh. There was a bit a salt sprinkled on them as well. The fresh catch of the day is a bit pricey but the menu is quite reasonable. I definitely recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
I visited this hidden gem in Alpharetta for lunch and oh man is this place AMAZING! It is tucked away in downtown Alpharetta, but as soon as you walk in you get beach vibes and ambiance. I visited here for a group lunch and it is a perfect setting for that as you order and pay as you come in and the food comes out in about 5-10 minutes. I had the bowl here that comes with grilled chicken, rice and lettuce topped with tomatoes and other salad toppings. The sauces here are amazing as well! They have a nice variety of items to choose from and the price is not bad at all. They also have a nice bar selection. There is outdoor seating and a nice terrace/greenway next to the restaurant so I can imagine this would be a pet friendly place to bring your dogs! This place reminded me of everything I could get at a beachside restaurant minus the sand and the water. Definitely will be returning here.

Yelp
I will never understand the sorcery that is their baked and grilled wings. They are truly otherworldly. They are so good that I would debatably eat them off the ground of a high traffic dog park. The tacos are also superb (especially the fried ones) just watch out for the sneaky jalapeños because they will get ya when you least expect it The skinny fries are crispy and delicious and make you feel way less shitty about eating an entire box full of them. Big fan

Yelp
Friendly staff... Lobster Roll is a big winner here... but other food served cold. Ruined the experience. Quite puzzling how a simple taco can be room temperature... same with the bowl. Fun atmosphere in downtown Alpharetta, but you can do much better at other establishments in town.

Yelp
Located in downtown Alpharetta, Chiringa takes advantage of its proximity to the community lawn space to create an open and inviting beach-vibe atmosphere that draws you right in for a cold drink and some great food. The interior decor is bright and beachy, but not cloying. It's a fun spot. The front of the restaurant opens up to outdoor seating and live music. Ordering is by walk-up, and your food is brought to you packaged to eat anywhere. We ordered the wings, guac and plantains, and cheeseburgers. Those wings- let me tell you- to die for! So delicious and sticky sweet! The burgers and guac were great, and the fries were fantastic - cooked perfectly with every fry crispy. Our drinks were also on point and we enjoyed the vibe while eating. This is a little on the pricey side considering a lot of the menu is bar food- but considering its location there really shouldn't be anyone not expecting to pay a premium. And it's really good! So money well spent. We'll absolutely be back. I'll be dreaming about those wings tonight!

Yelp
I saw it on social media and decided to drive 13 miles and was not impressed at all. No greeting when I walked in the staff behind counter just stood looking around with arms folded. My mahi mahi fish taco was ok and lemon humus seemed bland. My lemonade drink was delicious. I like the island twist decor.

Yelp
The food was really yummy and the free parking was definitely a bonus!! We had a table outside and the vibe was very nice and family like as well. The only downfall was all of our drinks were very weak and margaritas tasted strongly of sour mix.

Yelp
Mix of items. Varying levels of good... for an almost 5 dollar chicken taco I expect better the grilled meat was very dry and lacked flavor. I'd rate it a 2. The shrimp on the other hand was quite good... would rate it a 4. Toppings were the exact same on both, figured they would switch it up like most places but same sauce same onions same jalapeños. Then the fries were also a 2, was like bits and pieces out of the bottom of the fryer, surprised they served them, looked nothing like the yelp photos which look full fries and good. Vibe is pretty cool, maybe better come night time. Drinks looked way better than the food.

Yelp
The food is....Ok We got every taco they have and my favorite was the fish taco. The steak was not very good (I'm comparing to authentic Latino street tacos that I get from Jimmy carter) IYKYK Anyway the best part about this place is the location and outside dining. Highly recommend for friends who enjoy eating and playing outside with kids. They have a turf area where you can play corn holed and get a tan Also be aware parking is difficult in this area and they will probably charge for parking (depending on what day and time you go).

Yelp
We walked in and it was self service we started with guacamole which was very lemony. I have no idea what kinda service my dad was getting as he didn't let us go up there and order with him. We all ordered lobster rolls the lobster tasted very fresh and lemony. The ambience felt like San Diego which I absolutely loved as i personally love the laid back lifestyle of San Diego. I also loved that they had county music playing!! My only complaint is the price $120 for 3 people!!

Yelp
We came here for an early dinner and it was already pretty full. There was a small line to order, but we did not wait more than 5 minutes. Once we ordered, we got a number and found our table. The drinks were self serve (alcohol is not self-serve) from the containers or the cooler case on the side. It was a nice evening out so we found a nice long table outdoors for our large party. I had the Core 57 bowl, which was healthy and added fish. Little did I know the fish would double the price of the entree. Not a big deal, but I was surprised, that's all. The ingredients in my bowl were fresh and it was an excellent meal! The kids menu is reasonably priced. My favorite part of this restaurant is that it right on the courtyard, so our kids could run around and play. The interior felt beachy and was very welcoming as well.

Yelp
Environment: Chiringa is located in downtown Alpharetta. There is both street parking and a deck nearby, though the deck is a little farther of a walk away. The entire restaurant has a cute beachy vibe! You order food at a counter inside and take a number before picking a table. Seating is located both inside and outside. However, the interior is pretty small which meant it was easily packed and loud. So, my friends and I decided to sit outside. The restaurant is surrounded by a large grassy lawn so it was nice to relax and eat around families and friends playing games like corn hole outside. In terms of being environmentally friendly, I felt Chiringa let me down. The utensils, bowls, and cups were all disposable, leaving the tray as the only reusable item. I wish they were more conscious about not creating waste! Food: The food came out pretty promptly and hot despite being slightly busy on the night we ate there. I ordered the chicken sandwich and chose Spanish rice as my side. Although I wouldn't say the food was bad, it didn't blow me away. The sandwich felt a little plain and left me disappointed because I had expected more. My friend who got the chop chop bowl said that she liked her bowl, but that it wasn't anything special. Would I come back/ would I recommend to a friend? Unfortunately the food did not "wow" me or my friends and I did not leave wanting to try to food again. I feel like maybe I didn't order the right dish, so be willing to come back for something different. However for now, I couldn't recommend it to a friend.
