Chiringuito - Bethnal Green

The food was delectable, but it's a bit inconvenient that they only serve the sandwich menu on weekdays. The lack of table service, requiring orders and payments at the bar, can be cumbersome, especially for groups splitting the bill. Although the rooftop was closed, its appealing design caught my eye. With both outdoor and indoor seating, it's a delightful spot for breakfast or brunch.

Went there for lunch for the first time, the place itself and the atmosphere is very nice and relaxing but the food and the service were disappointed. When we arrived we waited to long to be seated even the place wasn’t busy but it was very hard to get staff attention, we walked to the bar and the asked us to set wherever we like and they will bring the menu. We sat in the back but 15 minutes passed and we still waiting for the menu so we had to go back to the bar and pick it up ourselves. We ordered pancakes, nachos and egg royal. The pancakes were so basic and didn’t taste fresh, the cheese in the nachos had a weird taste but the egg royal was good. Found it expensive for the food quality.

Lovely cafe. Super busy. We were a little disappointed as we wanted to sit on the rooftop, but it was closed. Luckily, it was a nice day, so we sat outside. Service was quick. Staff polite.

Cosy place right on the park. Good tasted great but the full breakfast lacked volume. Needed more of everything on the plate. Staff were friendly though a little slow on that day.

Fun little spot! Chiringuito in Bethnal Green is a cool spot to hang out and enjoy some great food and cocktails. The atmosphere is fun and lively, perfect for a night out with friends or a romantic dinner. The roof bar is definitely a highlight, offering great views and a lovely breeze in the summer. The service at Chiringuito is friendly and engaging, with the staff always ready to chat and make you feel welcome. The guys are nice and funny, making your dining experience even more enjoyable. The food at Chiringuito is top-notch, with the pork belly taco being a standout dish. The pork is sweet with crunchy fat, and the flavors are beautiful. The chorizo and wine are also very good, with the sourdough bread being a perfect accompaniment. Cocktail lovers will be spoilt for choice at Chiringuito, with a range of gin cocktails available. The Malfy con Arancia G&T is a personal favorite, especially on a sunny day. The Beefeater Rhubarb & Cranberry Gin & Tonic is super fruity and a great choice for those who love sweet cocktails. In terms of price, Chiringuito offers excellent value for money. For four plates and two cocktails, the bill came to £36 each, which is pretty good for the quality of the food and drinks on offer. Overall, I highly recommend Chiringuito in Bethnal Green. The fun atmosphere, great food, and friendly service make it a top spot to enjoy a night out. Plus, the roof bar is a real gem in the summer months!

The service was okay and I appreciated the option to sit inside or outside. However the food was cold when it arrived which was very sad. The egg was also unseasonal and there weren't any salt shakers. I also had to go twice to get butter for the toast since the staff forgot to bring it to us twice.

Nice and attentive staff, delicious food- fewer but good vegetarian 🌱 options. Drinks are nice, the balcony upstairs is lovely, you can have good views of the park and surrounding areas.

Not so good experience with the staff. Not so accomodating for tourist like us. Not smiling and they answered our questions as if we dont need to ask. We were there "early morning" (09:30am) so not a good start in a beautiful London. Weve been to different restaurants in London and this is very different. 🤯🤯 Btw we are Happy with the young man with a short dark hair working, seems new, BUT he is much better than the lady in the cashier and the guy who seems "somebody" (maybe the owner). He was service oriented and accomodating. But the others!? Jeeee. The food is good though☺️We like the presentation also. If you're in London to have a good day? Dont start it here. Not recommended!
