"Not only are Chito’s the best tacos in Wynwood, they’re among the best tacos in Miami. Each is made with two tortillas to ensure there’s no tearing. And those corn tortillas are delightfully warm and tender. You can choose between two tacos if you get an order of four, and those two should be lengua and tripe. They also grill teeny bits of pineapple for the al pastor so you get a subtly sweet flavor in every bite. Chito’s is also, blessedly, on one of Wynwood’s less overstimulating streets." - mariana trabanino
"If we are ever approached by a genie who claims to only offer restaurant-related wishes, one thing we’d ask for is more great street food tacos in Miami—maybe like the ones LA are so blessed with. Someone apparently got to that genie before us, because Chito’s is exactly that. This food truck is permanently parked in an outdoor space in the North end of Wynwood, near Roberto Clemente Park. There are a handful of picnic benches where you can enjoy beautiful tripe tacos, cheesy vampiro tacos, and massive burritos. "If what you want is a burrito so big you need to call a friend to help you lift it to your mouth, this food truck parked on the outskirts of Wynwood can help. The crisped flour tortilla is stuffed with onions, cilantro, beans, rice, a reservoir of sour cream, radish, lime, salsa, and your choice of seven different proteins. We love Chito’s tripa, which comes in crispy little chunks that crackle when you bite into them.
