I had wanted to visit this place for a long time, so I went with a friend, and we really loved the food and the atmosphere. However, toward the end of our meal, the server brought us the bill without us asking for it and said “no pressure.” We had also ordered coffee and wanted to sit a bit longer and talk, especially since it was a Monday morning and the restaurant was not busy. Later, they came back again and cleared our plates, which made us feel like we were being asked to leave. If the restaurant had been busy, we would have understood, but there were only a few customers at the time. We truly enjoyed the food and the ambiance, but receiving the bill so early and having the plates cleared made us feel uncomfortable at the end. It would be nice if the bill were brought only after we ask for it, especially when the restaurant isn’t crowded.

⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ I almost hate to share this hidden gem! Chloez Café is a total beach-vibe escape — warm, breezy, and welcoming. The staff is super friendly, and the food? Way better than First Watch! Every bite felt like brunch on vacation. From the coastal decor to the chill atmosphere, everything was incredible. Perfect spot for good vibes and great food! 🏖️☕🥞

Google
Chloez Cafe is by far my favorite choice of restaurant after a hike at Burke Lake. The food is consistently delicious, the service super friendly and the ambiente inviting. Thank you for a perfect start to 2026

Google
Chloez is such a cozy place to go to for breakfast. We all can find something to eat and its always comes out great. Prices are good and the portions are big. Will definitely be back.

Google
Welcoming staff, the owner checked in too. Mindful of our infant's safety too (corrected the high chair/car seat position). Food was slightly dry for me (vegetable omelet and chicken tenders) but wife loved her french toast and scrambled eggs. Atmosphere was cozy. Do make reservations before going on a weekend though, they're very busy.

Google
Walked in on a Sunday morning with a table for eight and was pleasantly surprised with only a 20 minute wait. The Menu and atmosphere were great. Food was a little slow, but well worth the wait. A little known secret is they have a full bar with mimosas and Bloody Maries!

Google
Great place for breakfast. Staff friendly, n alot of choices for food n lattes. would definitely go back!

Google
Love this place! The food and atmosphere is wonderful, and I love starting my week with a nice brunch. It's a calm oasis in the hustle and bustle of Northern Virginia. I consider it a hidden gem of this area. You won't be disappointed!

Yelp
Open | Chicken & Waffles | Popular Open The restaurant features a single, spacious dining area with plenty of seating. Although it stays busy, the noise level remains comfortable for conversation. The room is loosely divided into sections, but there are no physical partitions or walls separating them, creating an open and lively atmosphere. Chicken & Waffles The special Chicken & Waffles dish deserves a permanent spot on the menu. The flavor combination was excellent, though the chicken-to-waffle ratio felt a bit off -- roughly 3:2 (waffle:chicken). The plate came with three chicken tenders that varied slightly in size and a side of crispy home fries (small roasted potatoes). A great value for the price point. The main critique would be that they need more Chicken or better quality control on the size/quality of the tenders served. Ideally, you would have a 1:1 (Chicken:Waffle) ratio. Overall, a highly satisfying meal -- I'd definitely order it again. Popular This is a well-loved spot, and it shows. We arrived at 10:00 a.m. on a Sunday and waited about five minutes for a table. By the time we left at 11:15, the wait time had grown to around 30 minutes. Plan to visit during off-peak hours or be prepared for a short wait. Pro Tip - Ample parking available - 10% military discount offered

Yelp
This spot is cute and reminds me a lot of the breakfast restaurants you visit when you're at the beach. It is a good breakfast spot option if you're in the area. However, there are a couple things to keep in mind. First, there is always a long wait especially for breakfast given that it is a popular spot. I would advise that if on a time crunch, this is not the spot. On top of the long wait for a table, there is also a wait after your food is ordered. On this one particular visit, my party of 4 arrived around 12 noon and weren't seated until 12:20pm. There was then an additional wait for our food and it wasn't until 1pm that all of us received our food (all of us ordered the breakfast combos). We patiently waited for our food but noticed that there seems to be a lot of waiters/waitresses standing around, but they were all waiting on the kitchen. In addition, some of the pricing on the menu is relatively high. For a side of 3 breakfast sausages, it costs $6. There is also a credit card surcharge of 3% to keep in mind.

Yelp
I visited on a Sunday morning around 10am and Chloez was booming. There was a long waitlist, but my party of two got lucky, as they had one two-person table available. Our server, Karen, acknowledged us right away. To start, we ordered coffee and Chloez's famous beignets, which come with a side of raspberry dipping sauce (they have another option, but I can't remember what it was). The beignets tasted fabulous though they were slightly overdone. Neither here nor there. For my entree, I had the daily special, which was an egg and chorizo bowl. The bowl came with black beans and avocado, and everything sat on a bed of home fries. The taste was great, but my only complaint is the bowl was mostly potatoes. More chorizo would've balanced out the other toppings. Despite this, every meal that came out of the chicken looked great, so I'd gladly try Chloez again.

Yelp
Absolutely adorable breakfast and lunch place in Fairfax Station off of Ox Road. This was my second time coming here. I love their summer/beach deco theme. Our waitress this past Sunday was an absolute doll. Very kind and efficient. I didn't directly get her name but my receipt said Michelle S. Their prices are very affordable and I love their hot coffee varieties. Definitely recommend this place! Be sure to check them out! Friendly locally owned neighborhood brunch place.

Yelp
Chloez cafe is so cute! The inside is beach themed even though the menu is traditional breakfast and lunch, not a lot of seafood options. The benches we sat on were super hard and the cushions completely deflated, so that was the biggest downside as it was pretty uncomfortable. We ordered the specials - cinnamon roll latte, French toast latte, and chicken and waffles. The lattes were amazing (hard to mess up sugar and coffee). The chicken and waffles were good, even though the chicken could benefit from an upgrade in quality over the generic over breaded chicken tender.

Yelp
7/10 Chloe's Café has a cozy, welcoming vibe--perfect for a relaxed brunch after church or a Saturday morning catch-up. The food is simple and straightforward, nothing to rave about but definitely reliable. I got the potatoes, scrambled eggs, and pancakes. The pancakes tasted like your classic mix-box kind--nothing special--but the potatoes were so good: super crispy and perfectly seasoned. The eggs were just standard scrambled eggs. Cheap for amount of food and server was understanding and kind. Overall, it's solid, dependable brunch food in an area that doesn't have a ton of great options. This is my go-to spot when I just want something easy and decent.

Yelp
Chloez Cafe is one of the restaurants that I tagged for my collections as must to visit. I loved the breakfast I had there today. Just like the pictures online, the food is and looks very appealing. The place setting is like a boutique cafeteria; and rightfully so, it was crowded. Therefore, I made my way to the counter. This was not a good move. As I approached the counter area all eyes, behind the counter, were looking at me. I asked myself, what's going on. I sat down and started looking at the menu. A nice waiter immediately approached and took my order. As I observed, there were too many school age kids behind the counter with nothing to do; so, they were not only watching me as I approached, they were bored and steering at all the guests. Now, the food was good, but, I sat at the counter and had to observe over and over again one of my pet peeves. I saw these bored kids unwrap folded napkins and prepared them to wrap silverware. This is the part that bothered me: one girl patted the pile of prepared napkins each time she walked by; another girl played with her ponytail, picked a nail and her face nose area, and continued to prepare the napkins; at one point, a guy joined them. They did all of this without gloves. I am a stickler for good hygiene and maintaining cleanliness throughout the food handling process. I can't say I'll be visiting this nice boutique restaurant again.

Yelp
This is a super cute cafe and I love that it's a local business. I came for breakfast and really liked that the menu had very affordable options with all the usual things you would want for a brunch/breakfast. I ordered the breakfast combo that had waffles, eggs, fruit, and potatoes, cause I always love an option that has sweet and savory foods included (sometimes you just can't decide which one you want). Service was great as well, no complaints. I would definitely come back to try one of their family dinners or weekend brunch.

Yelp
Chloez Cafe is a really cute little cafe in Fairfax Station. Be prepared to wait or sit up at the breakfast bar. The service is excellent. I ordered a breakfast burrito, which was well prepared, but hardly had any bacon. It was mostly just tortilla and cheese. I would have liked some veggies and more bacon for it to be a true breakfast burrito. My daughter's Reuben was pretty greasy and fell apart. She ended up eating the other half of my burrito. My youngest seemed to really enjoy the ham and cheese omelet. I just wish this place had a kids menu. Overall, this place is worth visiting, but I would order something different next time.

Yelp
Chloez Cafe is a very cute spot off of Ox Road next to Los Toltecos near GMU! It has such a nice brunch vibes and the blue decor is so cute!! The service was good and quick, and the food was INCREDIBLE! I ordered the lox on a plain bagel and it was SO delicious. As a table we also ordered the garlic fries, which was a stand out for us. They also have mimosas, but the different flavors besides orange juice comes with extra charges. They have flavors like cranberry (so good), peach I think (which made it taste like rose) and pineapple (it was ok). The beignets were delicious and so fluffy! The extra sauces besides chocolate, were peanut butter and raspberry jam! They do come with an extra cost. Although the extra costs added up, it was very good!! I'd come back for brunch again!
google avatar

Yelp
The hostesses and servers were extremely kind and helpful. Some of the servers were too quick to take our plates away (it happened about 3 times). The interior was a cute beachy vibe! The food was great; we got typical breakfast items (the special was crab Benedict and it was delicious)! The coffee (iced vanilla latte) was too sweet for my liking but still good. We're all excited to visit again!

Yelp
TL;DR: If the taste of the food was as jarring as the vibe, then at least the food would taste like something. I did find the chairs comfy, though. My mom wanted to eat here. I told her I didn't want to come, but hey. Sometimes you do shit you hate for people you love. There was nothing on the menu that appeared remotely appetizing. I remarked it was... The whitest of menus. And ooof, they couldn't even make a grilled chicken sandwich that didn't have the texture of mashed potatoes in bread. How could a grilled chicken sandwich just be mush? There's at minimum chicken! The menu claimed it came with avocado, but instead it was about one teaspoon of guacamole. These are not interchange items. If it's guac, call it guac. I did try some on its own. It only had a mild flavor of lemon. The lettuce was about a teaspoon of shredded lettuce. Onion was two small bits. There were maybe three rings of pickled banana pepper. This sandwich made a Wendy's burger look like a salad. The ONLY flavor came from the banana peppers. For real. That was it. Everything was so incredibly bland I wasn't sure I even ate anything. Also? The thinnest, smallest pickle spear I've ever seen in my life had taste. It came from a jar, but good for them, buying a decent jar of pickles. Chips were well made and crisp, but had zero taste. No seasoning, just nothing. Not even salt. I tried adding them to the mush sandwich for texture, but it still had zero taste so what was the point? The other day I saw a news parody about a white woman being rushed to the hospital after eating seasoned food, and I can only assume that fictional woman, Becky Blanderson, would love this place. The vibe was like someone desperately trying to pretend they are still on vacation. It was incredibly loud, and the super elongated menus are ridiculous. I would absolutely not recommend this to anyone I know, but if you like to eat food that sucks the joy and flavor out of life, this is for you! Personally I stopped and picked up a different lunch on my way home. Just crappy drive through. A million times better. Tasted like mediocrity, which is a bar Chloez Cafe can only dream to achieve.

Yelp
Ambiance was great. Staff wonderful, especially considering that we were there for a Sunday brunch rush. Food was regular breakfast food but didn't stand out compared to anywhere else.

Yelp
What a fun, cute, cozy Brunch here in Fairfax! Tucked away in deep fairfax station, Chloez is a woman-owned open restaurant w amazing seating, staff, and menu! As a picky eater, there were tons of options to pick from fried apps to healthy omelettes. We got the fried zucchini, egg benedict, egg white omelette, and smoothies! All were so hearty, fresh, and delish. (The food was a tad oily.) Overall a great first try and support of local businesses!

Yelp
My go-to breakfast spot! I've brought so many family members to Chloez, and everyone loves it. The staff is always so nice, attentive, and welcoming -- plus they're quick! The food is great, and their seasonal drinks are a must whenever they're available. The owners are super sweet, too. It can get a bit busy, so making a reservation definitely helps. If you're in the area, try Chloez out -- you won't regret it!
google avatar

Yelp
This cafe was cozy and definitely feels like family owned type of business. We came here on a Sunday and it was busy, they do have a waiting list they put you on. The service was quick. We saw beignet in pictures, but not in the menu. I would say it's worth of getting it! They came out warm and delicious. The entrees prices were reasonable for brunch. The coffee menu was great too, I got the classic latte and it came in a huge mug plus orchid on the top. This place is full of nice surprises.

Yelp
I usually have much longer reviews but honestly I want to keep this much simpler: DECOR (10/10), FOOD (10/10), SERVER (10/10), AMBIANCE (10/10) Make sure to go asap because you already know I will:)!
google avatar

Mike J.

Yelp
My experience didn't match the reviews. Underwhelming, I might've ordered the wrong stuff. 3.5 out of 5. Waitress was young, a little forgetful and inattentive. Ordered: Smoked Gouda Mac and cheese bites | Apple juice |Steak omelet + Avacado mash. Mac and cheese bites were pretty good. Don't get the apple juice. $3.50 for a small portion, not worth it at all. Steak omelet was pretty good but needed seasoning. The cholula hot sauce was needed. I also HATED that my Avacado mash was tossed inside the omelet, what the hell.
google avatar

Margaret J.

Yelp
BLT was great we both ordered it. The Service was quick and friendly. Everyone seemed to be enjoying themselves even though it was busy. Decorating was sweet for valentine day and very upbeat with laughter throughout. Lots of staff working today, all tables filled as well as the counter. My sandwich was filled with bacon- kitchen was hopping - I could see them since we chose counter seating, which was ok.
google avatar

Vineela G.

Yelp
Ambiance: Great place, very friendly and kind people. They don't have outside seating. But to accommodate our dog, they moved a table outside for us. Food arrived fairly quickly and the service was great. I have nothing but nice things to say. Food: We were party of two and a dog. We ordered jalapeño poppers, chicken Fajita omelette with house fries, Eggs florentine with scrambled eggs and house fries, fruit cup and grilled chicken side for our dog. Jalapeños poppers were one of the best I had in recent times. Omelette and eggs florentine were delicious as well! House fries needs special mention! Parking: there is ample parking in the plaza. It's a very busy place so call ahead.

Yelp
3rd time is the charm!! Although Last time I was here my plate had a hair and they gave me a $2 discount & the Egg Benedict - one well done, one perfect Brynn L- amazing server, attentive, polite, funny great energy Why a 5? Ambience Food Service Employees that serve me & take the time to chat, & Joe Although I'm vanished from this place, I'll not used that to cloud this review that I was crafting. This Cafe it has the Island Vibe that I'm used to. It feels like family when you walked into the establishment. This is why I rate it a 5 You get the energy that you need to go on your day! Full disclosure, It was my fault, I was a bit disrupted as I received some sad news on my way to Chloez & I didn't handle well! Grieving took a toll on me.... I'll cherish my memories here & hope than I'm welcomed again! And latte is the way to go, with whipped cream & cinnamon

Yelp
so friendly, good food, have tried five different specials never been disappointed. Staff is always very helpful. Owners stop by you table greet you by name and if first will introduce themselves and ask your names.

Yelp
Stopped in this cute and quirky little cafe for an impromptu brunch with my daughter and was all around delighted! We were greeted and seated by two friendly hostesses who found us a table very quickly despite the evident brunch/lunch rush. Another server took our drink orders, and within minutes we received water as well as our hot chocolate and latte. Jenna was our amazing server: sweet, professional, prompt, and responsive! I ordered the veggie omelette, and my daughter got the Belgian waffles. Both of us were completely stuffed and satisfied by the meal, which was hot and tasty. Definitely recommend stopping by here for brunch. They have a full menu and full service bar too!

Yelp
Super cool spot! Been in FFX Station for 2.5 years and this is our first time visiting Chloez! Wish we would've come sooner. Nice folks and great food, will return.

Yelp
Stopped by here after hiking at near by Burke Lake. The appetizers are great and unique flavor. We stuffed jalopenos and mac and cheese bites, both of which were really good! The entree, we got a breakfast burrito and waffles. The burrito was good and flavorful with a spicy mayo, but nothing that can't be replicated at home. The waffles were soggy and lacked flavor so I wouldn't recommend that. The service was good and the place was clean and well decorated. I recommend stopping by if in the area but I wouldn't go out of the way.
google avatar

Emma S.

Yelp
Really delicious! The service was fantastic and food was super tasty. Love the nautical vibe here. Got the bacon and broccoli breakfast burrito with an "egg tortilla", but it was basically just an omelette lol. No complaints because it tasted great! Just wish there were a few more gluten free options. Would totally recommend!

Yelp
Terrible Service!!! Called ahead and was told 15min wait for party of 3. Put our name on the list. Arrived 15 min later - no line, no one was waiting. Was told 5 min while they cleared a table. Watched 3 groups come in and get seated AND SERVED over 30 minutes without a word from the hostesses. Asked when we could get a table and was told "in a few minutes" after sitting for 30 minutes and being the only party waiting for a table. NEVER GO HERE

Jen N.

Yelp
The service was almost aggressive at first, barely giving us time to look at menu. Then when we closed menus, was about 10 minutes before waitress came back. We couldn't get her attention as she was behind counter looking at her phone. The southwest egg rolls had no flavor and were super greasy. The eggs were mediocre and overpriced. Won't return.
google avatar

Hunter B.

Yelp
I heard about this place so we drove out to go get breakfast. The place was busy but we did get a table. The place has a limited menu and more expensive prices than other places. I got the eggs benedict which that and the potatoes it came with were ok. The place kind of felt dirty with the menus and the condiments brought to us. The worst thing was the service. We got our food without utensils. I also ordered coffee that never came and had to get it taken off the receipt because they still charged me for it. They give off this cool ambiance but I feel like it covers up the flaws. I would never go back to this place and I would say you can get better food, value, and service a lot of other places.
google avatar

Yelp
Very cute cafe with good service. I very much enjoyed my cinnamon roll latte and Greek omelet! My kiddo chowed down on his French toast too.

Yelp
Chloez Cafe is near my grandmothers home in Burke, she has gone a few times and raves about it so we decided to go for brunch on a Sunday. This is a family owned business. The inside ambiance is a cafe on the beach; bright, welcoming, with hints of beachy decor. There was a wait when we arrived but the staff moved quickly to clean tables and seat people. I now know why they had a line! Every area needs a cafe like Chloez. We ordered the pumpkin latte and it was divine. The quality and taste of everything was amazing. My omelet and fried potatoes and grandmothers Eggs Benedict were perfect. We will visit again soon.

Thomas E.

Yelp
Menu is breakfast & lunch focused. All I've tried has been well prepared and was proportionately perfect. Owner frequently onsite and will visit your table. Food prepared to expectations and service is top notch. Well worth a visit, and it will most likely make your favorites list. What is on their menu is there because they truly know how to prepare and serve from the best ingredients.
google avatar

Sohyun P.

Yelp
I did not have a good experience at this place. I hadn't noticed the credit card surcharge section at the bottom of the menu, so when I saw the 3% surcharge added to the receipt, I wasn't very happy, but since it was lunchtime, I still left a tip slightly higher than 18%. However, about three days later, when I happened to check my credit card statement, I noticed they had charged an extra $1 on top of the total. The food itself was neither particularly good nor bad, and while I accepted the milk art and taste of the cappuccino as just okay, this kind of customer service has left me with no desire to ever return.

Yelp
Case of the Sundays... bruchopolooza the day where everyone brunches and mimosas are king.. So Cholez Cafe is your down home breakfast spot with a nautical beach, backyard theme like you came to your neighbors backyard to have brunch. This place has so many food runners and bussers but less servers. Odd really because if the servers are taking the orders either the kitchen is slow or the servers are too quick they can't prep orders fast enough. the gap in between the time the fried mushrooms were brought out and our food were pretty vast.. When it came to ketchup and hot sauce we had to ask for those. Btw if you ask for hot sauce the house is Tabasco. You have to be special for the other hot sauces. The eggs Benedict the simples but easiest thing to screw up. Poached eggs..hit or miss one egg the white was a bit runny and yolk was leaky, second egg perfect cut in only liquid gold. The English muffin I don't know k if it's prepare or what but it was tough to cut through but I do appreciate the toast although it was a bit charred as you can see. Hollandaise is a bit. Thinner than other places I've been to but very lemony in a good way . Ham was Thinly sliced if your into that.if you want think ham not your dish. All and all if your local and looking for a down home place this is your joint. If you're in a rush or hangry don't go on a Sunday prime time. But quality is there is a simple joint simple ingredients.

Yelp
First off this place is just darling. The interior is decorated so beautifully! The staff were super friendly and helpful. Not to mention they had several mouth watering specials to choose from on the day we went! We were seated right away, however the place got busy quickly and there looked to be a wait as people flooded the front door. Our food was delicious and our iced coffee was energizing and refreshing! Definitely a place to stop by!

Yelp
Great portion of food! The coffee wasn't hot but the French toast was delicious! The service was amazing!

Yelp
I went to this cafe in Fairfax Station a while back to have breakfast with friends. The breakfast was delicious and freshly made, the service attentive, and the place clean and tidy.

Yelp
Literally the best ever cafe. The vibe is adorable, well cleaned, staff are so kind and attentive. 100% must stop stop by if you're in Fairfax -C

Yelp
Our first time coming here. Called ahead and was told we could put our name on the waiting list. Arrived and was told that we would be next for a party of 3. Saw a party of 4 who came after was seated before us. Then another part of 4 came and got seated. We asked and were told they got a party of 4. Please train your hostesses to provide better customer service. I hate to think it has to do anything with ethnicity.

Yelp
Average food and 50 mins wait time. Would go to a different breakfast place next time.

Yelp
Location (3/5): This location is a bit hidden and has a parking lot that gets super parked up but it's not too far from the GMU Fairfax campus if you go there or live in that area. I was able to snag a spot towards the back of the parking lot before meeting up with some of my sorority sisters for one of our chapter founder's birthdays. It was my first time here so I was very excited! Seating/Service (5/5): we were seated very quickly as our chapter founder made a reservation for us. Our waiter and the hostesses were very kind and accommodating as we waited for one of our sisters to arrive from her volunteer event. Food (4/5): I ordered the French toast and two eggs combo that came with scrambled eggs, fresh fruits, home fries and the French toast had some sparkled powder sugar on top. It came with a side of butter and syrup. One of my sisters ordered garlic fries and those were soooo good!! Definitely a 5/5. Our chapter founder ordered us beignets with raspberry sauce and those are absolutely delicious and fluffy! Drinks (3/5): I ordered a lemonade which did not taste very good and we also ordered orange mimosas and although not too strong were still yummy! Interior/Decoration (5/5): it was absolutely beautiful inside! Very bohemian, Beachy-blue, vibes. It was my favorite part. You could tell a lot of thought went into decorating this place. Overall (4/5): I would definitely return here again if I was in the area and try something from their lunch menu or my own garlic fries, those were super good!

Yelp
Went back to Chloez Cafe and tried the breakfast! It was amazing. I had the omelet with sharp cheddar, chorizo, and added avocado. The omelet and home fries were hot and tasted great! My colleague had the two pancakes and eggs meal with turkey sausage. He said it was delicious. I've been telling my friends about Chloez Cafe. Great service from hostess to server. Atmosphere is very pleasant. This a new favorite spot.

Yelp
Fantastic brunch experience with the family. Food selection and quality were excellent. Service was second to none and the atmosphere was social and light. Definitely try it out!

Yelp
I recently experienced Chloez again, but as a sit down experience. I probably ordered the wrong dishes this time, because nothing impressed me or my party like my prior experience did. But food was still okay overall. I recommend the Greek Burger and chips. I would not recommend the avocado toast or the garlic fries. The atmosphere is a bit loud since the space is smaller and the music volume is high when you're seated near the bar. However, the service was friendly and attentive. And the restaurant is clean.

Yelp
Great salads. The order took a little longer than expected because they were so busy on a weekday midday. Who would have thought? Will take my mom here. Thanks!

Yelp
Chloez Cafe delivers consistent service and great food. Come support a locally owned business impacting the community! When I moved to Fairfax from Alexandria, I stumbled upon this cafe because of the proximity. However, I have eaten brunch here when the cafe is super busy and when it's not as busy on a week night. You will get consistent service as Joe, the owner and his wife does a great job of making the restaurant have that fun vibe regardless if you are a family with kids or young person eating there. Food is what I expect from a cafe in terms of salads, burgers and sandwiches. However, I discovered the family style dinner that Joe actually ate with me the last time I went. We had a great conversation after I finished a delicious Hawaiian Chicken salad starting with some beignets! (Another not so obvious item available for order) Can't wait to see the reality show on Tubi TV around Super Bowl Sunday as Joe gave me an update since they had a film crew at the cafe on a previous visit.
