Google
Aesthetically cute little tea cafe! They were very busy on a weekend afternoon and we had scheduled a reservation for our table a couple of days before. We tried their roasted almond tea, which didn't taste much like almonds at all but was regardless great, and their white tea which had a hit on pineapple and fruity flavors to it. This cafe serves mostly sandwiches and small bites, not many desserts to choose from. We enjoyed the tomato basil soup, pimento cheese sandwich, and cucumber sandwich the most! Great tea place to hangout or book a special event. It would be great if they could add more sweets to their menu as it pairs well with tea in the future.

Google
Went on a Saturday for their afternoon tea (2 course + 2 teas) with my friend for the first time. We didn’t expect much at first until we had our first bite on their 1st course (savory bites) everything on this plate is amazing!! Quicheeeee is 💯 delicious!! I forgot what kind is lol. We also picked 2 different kinds of tea. Overall experience is very good! Would recommend this place!✨🫖

Google
5 stars on Ambience & experience. Went as a group for birthday. Knowledgeable and friendly staff. Teas were delicious. The afternoon tea plates were a little scarce. Food was ok. Great presentation.

Google
This is a charming place, very nicely decorated by seasons. Located inside the antique mall. I will recommend you make reservations specially if you are planning to go on the weekend. We got there shortly after they opened and in less than an hour the place was packed. They are perfect for girls outing, birthdays and get togethers. It's family friendly but keep in mind that it is an antique mall so I will be careful with the little ones. Now, the food is super fresh, healthy and very well portioned. It came out very fast, and it was delicious. Our server was very polite and servicial. They have gendered bathrooms, and plenty of parking, but it's shared with the mall. So keep that in mind.

Awesome atmosphere and great service! My friend and I took my 3 year old granddaughter and she loved it too!

Google
Very beautiful on the inside. The tomato soup and sandwiches are sooo good! The sandwiches were very good and flavorful. The tea selection was amazing. I got the tea with the dark chocolate, and it was great; it complimented our food very well. Their high tea comes in very small portions and is definitely not enough for just one person. I'd suggest getting the high tea meal for each person and not sharing.

I have been coming here for about 20 years. I love the food. They never seem to get any better at how busy they get. I placed an order, was told 10minutes and it was ready after 26minutes. Never come here if you have any type of schedule. They are very slow most of the time, dining AND Togo!

Google
Cute little spot for quick lunch. The atmosphere was nice and food was delicious and fresh. Their sopapilla cheesecake is a must have for dessert!

Yelp
This place is SO cute & quaint! The atmosphere and soft music make it so zen and it's perfect for catching up with your girls or a classy lil celebration (birthday, bridal shower, baby shower) We made reservations for 4:30pm (tea time ends at 3pm I believe?) so we ordered a pot of tea and some bites. Grilled cheese & tomato basil soup was fantastic!! As were the desserts, we especially loved the coconut cream pie. We also got a sampler plate and the cucumber sandwich was my favorite of the 3 (cucumber, pimento, chicken salad). For our tea pot, we ordered the Signature White (LOVE this tea!) Our waiter Jonathan, made the whole experience as amazing as it was -- Service is 10/10! We didn't want the tuna sandwich in the sampler so he substituted for chicken, we weren't sure which tea to get so he brought a tray for us to smell the tea leaves. He put our cake orders on the cutest plates (we were celebrating birthdays), brought us a complimentary cookie, took pics for us. He even changed out our tea set to give us matching ones (I know, we're extra). We stayed til almost 6pm and didn't realize (closing was 5:30pm) and he was so nice about it too. Jonathan was amazing!!! He made us feel taken care of the whole time and the charm of the place just goes up 5X with amazing service & and a kind host Go here. The perfect tea time!

Yelp
Chocolate Angel is a great location to go with your girlfriend (s). Their restaurant is small but mighty! In the nicer weather, they have nice outdoor seating. We shared the pot of hot tea but had to pay individually for each tea bag so it was $8.99 for a pot of hot water? That's the only reason I didn't give them 5 stars. The soup was hot and thick and very tasty with a giant crouton on it. My sandwich was so good and the chips seemed homemade, although she told us they weren't. I would recommend this as a great outing with friends, although you probably want reservations. I want to go back for high tea! Afterwards, walk around the shopping center and shop in the little stores. They are fabulous!

Heather R.

Yelp
Always such a treat to eat at Chocolate Angel. The salad sampler is yummy and I love the Mango tea. Desserts are always fresh. And I love to pick up frozen to go dinners when I don't feel like cooking. Great atmosphere for a wedding or baby shower and the service is always great.

Kevin G.

Yelp
Great atmosphere! Friendly staff, Service was excellent. They have many choices of sandwiches and salads on their menu! They offer full high tea service. They also have a Togo area with baked goods and Togo pre cooked casseroles just ready to heat up! Highly recommend!

Edelyn G.

Yelp
This little tea room is a hidden gem in Richardson. So far I have not been disappointed with their menu, their sandwiches, soups and salads are great. I highly recommend any of their daily specials!! Service was spectacular as well. Highly recommend to try it out!!

Yelp
Hey all, I am proof that real men DO actually enjoy Tea Rooms, though I think at the time I was there this afternoon for lunch that I was the only guy customer they had in what was a pretty busy place. The place has a cool shabby chic vibe which makes for a pretty cool ambiance. I ordered the Trio, where I got to pick 3 things from a long list of soups, sandwiches, and salads. I ordered Chicken and Vegetables Soup, 1/2 of a Pimento Cheese Sandwich and 1/2 of a Tuna Salad Sandwich. Delicious on all accounts! My only complaint is the service. While everyone was friendly, I clearly noticed, and tables were joking about the fact that the waitstaff seems to not refill water glasses. Tea, etc, they were refilling occasionally, but water at EVERY table in EVERY section not so much. Probably because the waitstaff was too busy in the back of the dining room congregating and visiting and not tending to their tables. In fact, my own waitperson put my food down and never came back to check on anything until she brought my bill. Maybe a 2 rating seems harsh when everything but the Service was spot on, but I think Service is everything.

Tracy G.

Yelp
The ambiance was simple elegance and the food was spectacular! I consider myself a connoisseur of all things tea, Chocolate Angel was right there up top!!!

Vicki D.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic place to go with your girlfriends. Have lunch and go shop at the cute shops just right across the parking lot. The food is so delicious.

Billy T.

Yelp
One of the most exquisite place that I been to. Very elegant. The staff is knowledgeable in the food is wonderful. I look forward to going back.

Jill E.

Yelp
One of my very favorites. I love everything about this place from the refreshing flavored tea to variety of lunch choices (I almost always get strawberry jello salad, broccoli raisin and chicken salad) Enjoy!

Kate M.

Yelp
I have to say that I was extremely disappointed in this place. My MIL and daughter go her and talk about how good it is. I booked a room for a shower for my daughter because this is the place she chose. The people there were disorganized and rude at times. My daughters friend was unloading her car with items for the shower and was going to move it after. There was an employee that yelled at her and watched her unload the car and made sure she moved it. The food was mediocre at best. The only positive was the room was really pretty and didn't need a lot via decoration. I personally will never be returning.

Teresa B.

Yelp
I used to go to the Campbell Road location and since the Plano location has closed, the one located in the antique mall is the closest location to us. It seems like this location is always busy so there have been a couple of times where I placed a to-go order instead and our food was ready in about 10 minutes which I was extremely surprised by. But if you aren't starving or in a rush, it's a treat to be able to sit down and enjoy the food (the food takes much longer than 10 minutes to be ready for sit down). The tea sampler is my favorite, which tastes good both at the restaurant or at home!

Karla M.

Yelp
Cute inside however, I expected a tea parlor w/ specialty teas, and pastries. I asked for lemon curd and chutney and they didn't have it. They didn't have teaspoons with the cute tea cups or tea kettle warmers, but we had full sized spoons with our flatware set. I was looking for the sugar cubes and I received packets. This is a great cafe with great food however if you are looking for a traditional ornate tearoom experience, I would not recommend. I highly recommend if you like good sandwiches and salads. I had hoped to relax around a pot of tea made from specialty tea flavors/leaves scooped into a tea bag and served steeping. There is hot water in the kettle and we picked stash tea bags every time we needed a cup. 4 stars because its cute with great food. Stash tea would not be what I'd consider a tea room. I'd focus on what you do best (cafe) and build that out.

Yelp
I LOVE Chocolate Angel!! Today I ordered the Angel Duet - and I chose the half chicken salad croissant sandwich and the strawberry pretzel salad for my two choices. Both of these are so delicious and I highly recommend them. It also comes with a scone, which is so good with a light dusting of sugar on top. I also had the mango iced tea and it was so refreshing, and it's not sweet at all. My friend and I had made a reservation in advance, which is always advised. Almost every table was occupied. I always enjoy the beautiful decor. Even when you're going for a casual lunch, it still feels extra special because of the cute furnishings and chandeliers. There is also an outdoor patio that you can dine at, if it's not too hot outside. They have a designated door to To-Go orders to be picked up at. Treat yourself to a special meal with family or friends!

Carmen H.

Yelp
Such a quaint gem of a tea room. Chocolate Angel we are so lucky to have you in our Neighborhood. The deco is so adorable & whimsical. Today we only had dessert, coffee & hot tea. There were a dozen of teas to choose from and the coffee was fresh and hot. The brownie, fudge pie was deliciousness. See you soon!

Gail L.

Yelp
Great ambience and good food. A place out of the past with attentive service. Gail's

Yelp
I was VERY disappointed in how they don't seem to value walk in customers!! I arrived at 10:38am and was told they have a lot of reservations, they could seat me BUT not wait on me until 11:30! I was "1" person, that's ridiculous to ask a customer to wait 45+ minutes to be served! Obviously they feel confident enough to basically turn customers away! I will NOT BE BACK and will share my ridiculously terrible experience at the Chocolate Angel!!

Andrea H.

Yelp
This is an adorable little tea room that serves some fun lunch items too. Decor has elements of Shabby Chic with elegant chandeliers hanging throughout. We reserved a table for our crew. Despite that, we were seated 30 minutes late due to another party lingering a little too long. I highly recommend making a reservation a few weeks in advance to make sure they have a table large enough to seat your group, but do realize you still might get delayed being seated. The menu has some great combo options like soups and salad or a trio salad sampler. This makes it easy to try a variety of things they have on their menu. I ordered the popular Trio Salad Sampler. Of the handful of choices, I chose tuna salad, broccoli-raisin salad and the strawberry pretzel salad. The last one will remind you of something you might find at a 1950s potluck. It was three layers consisting of some sort of strawberry gelatin, maybe a cream cheese spread on top of a salted pretzel crumble crust. It was Intriguing, sweet, light, bright and colorful, but I would probably order the arctic freeze salad the next time just to try something different. Service was great. All of the staff were wearing masks. Drink glasses were filled regularly and plates were cleared as needed. There was a mistake on one order, but the server whisked away the plate and brought it back minutes later. It was a pleasant place to have a small group luncheon.

Sue C.

Yelp
What a fun place to eat!! Located in an antique mall, everything was decorated for Valentine's Day. The food was delicious, especially the dessert. There was a line, but they seated us pretty quickly. They had a pianist playing Love songs. Will definitely come here again! Can't wait!

Emma W.

Yelp
Beautiful restaurant and affordable tea service! Definitely will be returning here for lunch.

Nancy H.

Yelp
Ordered a rather expensive tuna sandwich to go; when I got home, I saw that the toasted bread had been burned. Come on!

Darryl K.

Yelp
Great for a light Lunch! Good Food, Service and get the Mango Ice Tea! Too Hot for the Patio right now, but comfortable inside with some unique decorating touches!

La'Breaya R.

Yelp
Today was my first time coming to CA, and I loved every bit of it. I'll be having my bridal shower here in February, so I wanted to take a look at the party room and have lunch. It was really busy, but the food was great and the staff was friendly. I really enjoyed the tea selection and the roast beef sandwich.

Sandy M.

Yelp
Had a horrible experience here yesterday! The food was so expensive and the portions were minuscule. I actually picked up food on the way home. The pasta was bow tie pasta with bottled Italian dressing and olives. Literally two slices of olive-- didn't even make one olive. There were no veggies at all... No tomatoes, celery, carrots anything. The chicken salad tasted good, but my friend and I joked that they used a much smaller scoop with my serving than hers. The broccoli salad was too sweet. Good thing the portion was small. The scone was less than half the size of a regular scone. Babies were screaming (you have too large rooms. You need to make one for customers with small children. The wait staff was nice and attentive. The only perk of a dreadful lunch!

Penny K.

Yelp
No I do not, we had a shower there and the waitress did nothing but give us rules, I had already read the rules in the paperwork, I personally would not come here again, and was definitely overpriced!

Marcela T.

Yelp
I've been looking for a place for afternoon tea for ages and finally gave this place a shot. It was pretty loud because a bridal shower was taking place in the event room they have, but it wasn't bad, though the service suffered a bit. Food and drink took a while to get to us. The food itself was quite good! The first plate to come out were the savories and a scone; wenjoyed the pimento sandwiches and the chicken curry pastries, though it didn't come out in tiered trays which I would have much preferred. The second plate came with desserts, and we loved the dark chocolate cake truffle the most. The selection of teas was fairly limited for a place that promotes tea in my opinion (2 caffeine free and 3 flavored black teas) but it was served nicely. Overall it was a good experience but it left me wanting something better and with more variety of drinks. Also you have to call to reserve and the tea service doesn't start till after 3 PM on weekdays and 4 PM on weekends which I find kind of strange. To each their own!

Hamna A.

Yelp
Service was decent, but there wasn't any dish in particular that stood out or tasted good.

Alicia H.

Yelp
Love this tea room and bakery. Shabby chic decor. Delicious salads, soup, and desserts.

Kimberly B.

Yelp
My friends and I have always loved going to Chocolate Angel in Richardson. However, we couldn't believe how rudely we were treated when we showed up today. We had a reservation at 11:30 and because of the rain, 2 of us were running only about 5-6 minutes late. A tall blonde lady refused to seat my friend who was there and gave away all the open tables to people with no reservation. She would not save a table for us even though one person was there and the other two were only a few minutes behind her. She had a very rude, arrogant and condescending attitude and kept saying....this is how a business is supposed to be run. She never once smiled or showed any warmth at all. She kept repeating....this is how a business works. When the rest of our group showed up a few minutes later, all the tables in the main restaurant were gone so she took us to the To Go section in another area which had no ambiance and sat us in the corner. We felt like we were being punished. The food was good and the waitress was fine but what an awful first impression. If this is how customers are treated, then they will start going elsewhere.

Ashley Q.

Yelp
Have always had a wonderful experience here. Had lunch with several girlfriends. We all got something different. The angel trio is a combination of small bowl of soup, half sandwich, and a dessert, includes a drink if you want to add. Very reasonably priced. We love the option to mix things mix. Order a full sandwich, salad or combo This place is very quaint with the adorable tea room decor. And it feels very relaxing and inviting. We have always enjoyed eating there for our get together's over the last 5 years. Service is always on point and attentive to our needs. We have been to both locations, and like the Campbell one the best. Advice to make reservations in advance. They are very busy during the lunch hours till 2pm It's a great place to sit, enjoy some great sandwiches and desserts. You have to try the Strawberry Pretzel salad. No pics because it's just so good

Terri R.

Yelp
My friends and I had a delightful Afternoon Tea last Saturday. The decor is charming. The table setting is cute with the tea cups and saucers all different styles. You are able to choose two types of teas. One is served with what our server called the "entree" which are the sandwiches and other more savory treats, which included a mini quiche. We went with a green tea. You choose another tea to have with dessert. We went with an orange type tea. The sandwiches were tasty, although the edges of the bread were a little hard. Good sandwich variety- Pimiento, Egg Salad, and Cucumber. All of us enjoyed the scones which had a whipped cream in the side. Dessert was 3 mini items. Ours was a chocolate cake pop, lemon bar, and sugar cookie with frosting. The dessert wasn't too fancy but it was good. Service was ok. When our server was talking with us, she was fine but she did not check back on enough. She had spilled water as she was pouring it. She said she'd come back to wipe it up. She never came back and at that point, the tablecloth was completely saturated. We had to flip that part of the tablecloth up so my friend wouldn't get wet. We kept waiting for the server and couldn't find her and couldn't get the attention of anyone else. Server returned in probably 10 minutes and still didn't remember about the spilled water, and we let it go. The place was busy, with a couple larger groups, one of which was a baby shower. They have a private room but I didn't see it. There were 4 of us, we wore fascinators we brought and had fun. Pinkies up!

Eliza B.

Yelp
Wonderful, delicious food. Service was subpar. With such a great atmosphere and good food I expected friendly, attentive service. I will try again one day, but hope they improve service.

Carol D.

Yelp
This was a really quaint little place to have lunch with my daughters for a birthday luncheon. It's a very nice place to have tea time. The salads are very good, and I love their scones!! My first time to ever have a scone. We will be back!!!

Kenya R.

Yelp
I really don't know where to begin. My daughter wanted a tea party for her 16th, so I initially chose this place because they had a patio in hopes that it would persuade her friend's parents to allow them to come, it didn't; I kept the reservation anyway and just changed the number attending. Anyway we get there and I let them know that it's just 4 instead of 7. She said we would still have to pay for the others because her chef has been working on it all day. Okay cool. She then says that she will tell the chef to start, but I'm confused because they offer a regular and a vegetarian version. I was confused really at the point where she said that her chef had been working all day. Anyway, I told her that we picked this place because it had a vegetarian option (my daughter is a vegetarian). She said that she wasn't told that at the time of the reservation. I told her that is something she should ask ( I thought you told them upon arrival). She was very dismissive. She basically said I said what I said and she walked away. I noticed that she was having a disagreement with a lady when we came in, and she was dismissive with her also. I'm not saying the customer is always right, but there is a way to approach and deal with the situation. The only thing that saves this place is her staff and the signature white tea. Her staff was very friendly and accommodating. After the staff has addressed our issue she comes and tries to be nice and says that she will make it so that my daughter can eat because mind you we are paying $25 a person. with that being said, let me tell you about this food she said her chef had been preparing all day. finger sandwiches: I know this is typical, but they were pitiful. The pimento cheese definitely came out of a tub. The bread was hard on the edges. The quiche was not even lukewarm and definitely frozen. There was some type of baked dough ball (no clue what it was). There was a chicken salad in a phyllo dough cup and a beautiful cup of fruit. All these things were packaged items. I'm not sure what her chef had been working on all day (insert eye roll) * Even after the whole my daughter is a vegetarian, they still put the chicken salad on her plate! Dessert course: coconut cake shooter that seemed like it was definitely made with old cake. I bake, so I know when you have held on to a cake too long. There was a strawberry cake pop that was actually good minus the sprinkles, and a very hard sugar cookie with a huge dollop of buttercream icing. Again I am wondering what the chef had been working on all day (insert another eyeroll) This tea seemed like it was made with a bunch of leftovers. In the end, they only charged us $22 a person. It still wasn't worth it. DO NOT GO HERE FOR THE TEA! My bad for not reading the reviews prior to making the reservation. Nothing was picture worthy, but the tea cups; I still didn't take any pictures

Andrea L.

Yelp
I love this place. I always bring my girls for Tea time & they enjoy it. Always a good place to come & enjoy lunch or Tea.

Em C.

Yelp
Very disappointed in the "tea" selections. On line they said we would get scones and butter, quiche, pastries, etc. But in fact what we got was basically a cheese plate, a cup of fruit, a thimble of tomato soup, and a few tiny cheese and bread triangles. Dessert was just a plate of four tiny cookies. And the bill was $60 per person! We were cheated. I have complained but have heard absolutely nothing from them.

Val S.

Yelp
Great is the right word to describe our experience. The food was great! The service was great! The tea was great! The atmosphere was great! We truly enjoyed ourselves. I will definitely be back. I think we wanted a little more, but I guess that's high tea for you, a snack not a meal! LOL! Thank you for a wonderful night. The toasted almond tea is a must if you go!

Alex W.

Yelp
Firstly, it is a bit sad to have to write this review after years of enjoying food and drink from The Chocolate Angel, but this was unacceptable. For Thanksgiving, several things were ordered directly through the web, but there was some mix up in their system, so my significant other called and when inquiring about receipt of online form, was told the current form online was not the current form and to just tell them what she wanted. She ordered and we arrived the preordered day, she went in and braved the crowd, and there was not a single part of the order nor any record of it being ordered nor any suggested compensation nor substitutions, just "no order for you here and nothing extra available to buy" So... Very likely no more Chocolate Angel for me. They lost any charm they had for me with their total dismissal of botching a holiday order.

Jessica M.

Yelp
Pimento cheese and strawberry pretzel salad are so good! Love this place. A little pricey for it but it's delicious.

Iris S.

Yelp
EXTREMELY PLEASED with this Tea House! Yesterday, my sorority alumnae group attended high tea at the Chocolate Angel that I had been planning. I called about a month before and made a reservation for 10 to start and spoke with Carol who was very warm. About a week before I called to update my reservation as we had some additional RSVPs for the Saturday high tea. I was told that we needed to pay for the amount we RSVPd for- even if they did not show up. And if extra people showed up they would only have enough for 1-2 people extra. This is because they only bake enough for the amount coming to high tea (everything is fresh). This got me veryyy nervous. I wound up calling back the morning-of to modify our RSVP to our final number of 14. Paul was extremely helpful. Our event was at 3:45pm, and since we had such a large party they put us in the room next to the to-go area. This was a very cute room- I got really excited! However, my excitement quickly changed to stress as people turned up who did not RSVP! We wound up with 17 people!!!! The team at the tea house was adaptable and wonderful. They found extra chairs and place settings and set us up. They even managed to scrounge up enough food! ::takes a deep breath out:: The food was delicious- very cute trays and they made sure our winter tea was always plentiful. Never an empty cup! The most surprising part was when they came out with a second plate for everyone that had more desserts! I think our pants were about to bust open! Exquisite care went into this preparation from Chocolate Angel staff and I truly appreciated it. For the $19.99 price each setting (gratuity included) the price was more than fair. Don't pass up this venue for a small get together, wedding or baby shower as this is the perfect place!!! Thank you, thank you!

Susan E.

Yelp
De ja vous - back in time with a whisper of long ago when the world was gentler, safer and a delightful adventure. Come explore trinkets, furniture, clothing, objects of wonder. You will be glad you did. Stop by and linger over tea, small sandwiches and sweet delectables. I have never been here before but so glad I came ! I will be back !

Kenyon E.

Yelp
My friend help an event here the other day. Before hand we were stressed because she was informed that if someone on our reservation does not show up we would still have to pay for them and if we had extra people show up they would not have enough food for them. The day came and we were placed in our own private room by the to go area. The room was pretty with mixed tea cups and old wedding photos. As the women showed up we realized the 14 rsvps turned into 17 or 18 people! Thank goodness after talking to the staff they said they can make it work and we will have enough food for everyone. High tea was amazing and the foods were delightful. The servers were very nice and made sure our tea cups were full. This was a great get together and I can't wait to do it again.

Megan E.

Yelp
This spot gets busy during lunch time so I recommend calling ahead and reserving a table. The menu has a pretty good variety and pricing is okay. I ordered the trio- tomato basil soup, house salad, and 1/2 chicken salad sandwich. Tomato basil soup was soooo good. Salad is simple but great. The chicken salad sandwich is served on a croissant but I found it to be bland. Needs basic salt and pepper. Service was good, our drinks were refilled so no issue there.

Tokyo C.

Yelp
10/26 We were invited to come back since our first visit for high tea was kind of disappointing. Brought my friends for a baby shower. Our party was placed in the Chantilly room and we made a reservation for 4pm. The room was nice and we arrived at 4pm and as we waited we took group photos. They had the tables set and we had water. Melissa and Ruth came out to welcome me and introduced me to our only server, Matt. I was concerned that we had only 1 server for three tables for high tea. Well by 4:15 our tea order was not taken nor were teas shown so I recommended we start opening shower gifts. So by 4:23pm still no sign of Matt to take our order so I head back to the hall / kitchen to find out why our tea order has not been taken. Matt was back there prepping the sandwich plates!!!! Why didn't they get someone else making the food. I was shocked!!! Mind you this reservation was made months ago!!! This happened the entire time. Like where's Waldo but it was where's Matt!!??!?!!! It was a delightful shower but I am disappointed that we waited 30 min before tea order was even taken. No one barely ate the sugar cookie. Not a favorite . We did complete the high tea by 6pm but I had to go back to the kitchen three times to find out about refills and our check. I do not blame Matt he was awesome and professional and knowledgeable. They should have had 1 more server to help Matt. He was in charge of food and tea. It was ridiculous and for $338 which includes tip already it should be two servers to help, at one point I got up and refilled the women's tea because there was no one there. So just be aware that you will have to wait a lot here. I wish they would just leave the tea pots on the table and let you serve yourself and just refill the teapots if they want to only have 1 server for 13 people . It seems unnecessary to hold the tea pots off to the side. But thank you Matt for all your running around and service. We loved the signature white tea and again the servings of food is teeeniny so you may be hungry afterwards. Bathroom was clean! Best wishes to you Melissa and Ruth.

Yelp
Every single item we got in our order was wrong. The first tuna sandwich had a long black hair tangled through the tuna. The hot pimento sandwich was ordered without bacon because I'm a vegetarian, yet they put the bacon on it anyway therefore inedible. Neither of the hot pimento sandwiches came with the side of jam that makes the sandwich what it is. My moms salad plate was wrong and she was sick to her stomach shortly after eating it. We will never be back. The owner was very rude when picking up this order too. We had called ahead, and they still made us wait an hour for this pre-ordered food. If it was just the nasty hair in my food I could look past it. But the attitude and the bacon and my mom getting sick was just too much to ignore.

Yelp
Hosted a baby shower for a party of 13, and it was almost perfect. A handy man had to use caulking to repair the steps that lead to the next room. It caused a paint-fume-like smell to linger into our party. Smell lasted about 30 minutes, and it was a little uneasy since we tried to enjoy our tea time. A few of my guests complained that the fumes were strong and burning their nose. 'Sigh Other than that minor mishap, we enjoyed the cordial atmosphere and the friendly staff. The Signature & Roasted Almond tea flavors were divine! Disclaimer: afternoon tea sample plate is suppose to be bite-sized. If you do your research, afternoon tea is not a lunch nor dinner portion. It's a snack time with a cup of tea or two.

Yelp
Small and interesting place to eat while shopping for antiques. I recommend for a quiet place for two

Yelp
I thoroughly enjoyed the strawberry pretzel salad. It was very addicting and innovative.

Yelp
Had my bridal shower here. The room was well decorated, service was quick and all my friends had an overall great time. Only 4 stars since the food wasn't anything exceptional or memorable. Chicken salad sandwich was completely bland and the roasted almond tea had a very subtle flavor. It was still a very memorable event.
