Miami’s 21 Best Bakeries | Eater Miami

"Georges Berger was once named one of America’s top 10 pastry chefs and owner of Chocolate Fashion. Daily breakfast and lunch menus include a variety of eggs, french pastries, quiche, toasts, warm baguettes, salads, coffees, and tea. The cakes range from 6 to 8 inches and are almost too pretty to eat." - Amber Love Bond

Miami’s 12 Best Places for Hot Chocolate | Eater Miami

"This Coral Gables staple may be known for its French pastries, but with the word chocolate in its name, there’s bound to be a noteworthy hot chocolate on the menu. The hot chocolate is just the right amount of creamy; guests can expect it to be made with rich chocolate that will keep them returning for more." - Amber Love Bond

If you want to experience the perfect cafe au lait with a traditional canelé… this is the place. We have been coming back for more than 15 years now!

Google
This little gem is reminiscent of a traditional parisian cafe and bakery. Located off Mircle Mile, it's a quaint and intimate little bakery with great food pastries and desserts. The ambiance and flow of the restaurant and staff is smooth and lively. Great energy, and the owner seems like a wonderful lady. The price is a bit higher than expected, but my expectations were blown out of the water here. Definitely will return for cake!

I went recently to pick some bags from Too Good to Go. The two people working there kept saying they couldn’t see me swiping that I had gotten the bags despite me showing them. They took a very long time to give the bags and even longer to simply staple them. I told them my car was parked in a spot where I couldn’t park and that I’d need to leave soon and if they could please hurry and they didn’t care. There weren’t even people whose order they were taking so I’m honestly not even sure why this took so long. I’ve previously come to pick up things in this store and they have always been ready by the time I get there. I’m frankly a bit disappointed from the experience this time as I do love the store’s decor and even more the food sold.

My new favorite breakfast bakery! Very attentive and friendly service. They make you feel very welcomed! You can see the staff greeting their regulars!! Almost every other person was a regular!!! Food is awesome! Quiche! Spanish omelette!!! Yum!

I am a great enthusiast and long-time customer of the food and quality of Chocolate Fashion. But today, 3/29/25, the service of one waiter forcing me out and kicking out a long-standing customer is beyond sub-standard of customer service from all industry standpoints. I understand the restaurant gets busy but then the waiter must see how to accommodate all new and existing customers properly. I am glad the restaurant is getting busy but it is not my problem of the waiter’s frustration or insolence. I am deeply insulted of this waiter’s gesture and will not be coming back till that waiter has been reprimanded accordingly. Not recommending or advocating for his dismissal but reprimanded. Thank you.

Google
First time trying this place, I was a little skeptical about ordering food since i saw they are a pastry/bake shop but I ordered the seafood special of the day (Salmon with teriyaki stir fried veggies and a salad) and it was DELICIOUSSSS! I will be ordering it again next Thursday lol! so much flavor and prepared perfectly! I also ordered 3 macaroons (lavender, coffee, raspberry) soooo yummy! Lucky to have found this place so close to my job.

Google
I have been here a total of three times. Always a great experience. So delicious and everything is fresh baked in house. Love the ambiance. I do however want to take a moment to recognize one of your employee's, Oscar. This guy is a true gem. He elevates your restaurant to a whole other level, with his incredible customer service. He doesn't miss a beat and at all times, he is keeping a visual of the entire place, inside and out. It's truly impressive. He was not our waiter, and yet, you can't help, but stop to watch him in action!!! He takes care of this place, as if it was his. That is priceless!!!

Beautiful pastries, coffee. Yummy, delicious and high quality. Like being in Paris but in Coral Gables. The menus looks amazing although we didn’t try any of the food. Definitely will be back for that.

Yelp
Chocolate Fashion is such an adorable Coral Gables staple. If you love croissants, coffee and French vibes, this is your spot. I have traditionally visited for pastries and breakfast but they have a solid lunch menu as well. The atmosphere inside and out makes you feel like you are in France, and I love it. If you have a special occasion, they also have phenomenal pastries and desserts. This spot has stood the test of time and has been a neighborhood favorite since the early 2000s. In Miami, to stand the test of time with great service, good prices, and delicious food is truly remarkable. If you haven't visited, make your way there for a treat. Parking is available on the street or in a few parking garages nearby.

Yelp
Thanks for providing a local slot full of French and Spanish goodness in every dish and each bite. We now have a place after church that we can call ours. The service is great (thanks Mari and everyone who plays a part in the experience). The ambiance is adorable for friends, a date or a party of one. Whenever you go, it's sure to be a great! And you must have the pancake; it's the best pancake I've ever had in my life and I'm a waffle girl. The Turkey and egg wrap is delicious as is the French toast. The quiche is yummy; like they do in Spain. Enjoy!
google avatar

Vancy S.

Yelp
What a hidden gem! We came after church inland it was busy. The wait was fast. The almond croissant were so delicious. You can tell they were fresh crispy edges and most in the inside with the delicious filling. The salmon eggs Benedict were delicious. The poached egg was cooked perfect with the yummy hollandaise sauce. Overall great place for breakfast, brunch, and lunch. The vibe was vey eclectic and warm.

Yelp
They have large cups of delicious hot chocolate and a wide variety of sweet and savory pastries and bread. My mom buys the chocolate bread here - It is nice and a first for me. She also buys bread with cranberries and walnuts from here. It is a very pretty pastry shop. They also serve breakfast but we will have to go another time to try it. It seems popular as families with small kids were there to have breakfast.

Yelp
Great food good service our server was so friendly professional and knowledgeable. Amazing capuchino and deserts !!! Relaxing atmosphere will definitely come back .

Yelp
The food was good. We had a couple of sandwiches for lunch. Also got some deserts that were delicious. Service was very nice.

Yelp
I stumbled upon this bakery while looking for a cake for my friend's birthday. While I was there, I decided to try their pastries and coffee. The pastry was pretty good (8/10), but the coffee was a bit disappointing (3/10). The cake was a bit pricey for the size, but the taste more than made up for it (9/10). The service was friendly, but a little slow. They had music playing in the background, which added to the ambiance. Overall, I'd say this bakery is worth a visit if you're in the area and looking for a tasty cake.

Claudio N.

Yelp
Great tasting food, service & ambiance. Food and beverage prices are high with smaller portions. Pay parking is adequate.

Yelp
Came here for breakfast as a recommendation from a friend. Definitely a place you'd want to come for fresh croissants. You can tell that they are made with buttery love in house. I had the petite breakfast (15$) which included eggs with cheese, bacon, and a butter croissant. No substitutions allowed. Overall it was your typical breakfast. Good but I felt over priced considering how basic it was. The cold brew hit the morning coffee necessity. Staff was great and very attentive. Look forward to returning and possibly trying a sweeter menu item.

Yelp
I do not recommend this place because it's very overpriced and I had a terrible experience last time I was there. The lady that was helping me place 2 orders for Christmas desserts left me waiting 2 times to help another customer who was after me. Also when I finally picked up my order it did not look like the model they had in the display. They even charged me extra to put a red ribbon instead of a yellow ribbon. No, not worth going there!!
google avatar

Yelp
Attentive service , good Covid practices and delicious food ! We started off our breakfast with a cappuccino which was solid, can't say it's the best tho. Their service was a little slow this morning but nonetheless very attentive . I enjoyed their Petit breakfast (my choice was scrambled eggs with ham ) and their lemon tart was amazing . My boyfriend had a frasier and it was very good although not my favorite . If you do ask for the petit breakfast I do have one recommendation , ask them to separate the scrambled eggs from the croissant if you don't want the croissant to get too moist. They have an extensive selection of sweets that I can't wait to try , I'll definitely be back ! house made orange juice was on point!

Yelp
We visited our neighborhood establishment to support local, only to be highly disappointed! This morning, in the mood for French Toast, we chose a Coral Gables staple...Chocolate Fashion. What has happened to this place? The food was horrible. Our breakfast tasted like the French Toast was "premade," chewy, cold bread. Butter just lay on top without a slight melt. Breakfast was cold and old. The bacon definitely was precooked and then recooked for service. The only redeeming factor was delicious strawberries. After 3 coffees, two orders of dreadful French toast and overcooked bacon, we dropped more than $50. Explains why the restaurant is not as busy as it once used to be. I won't be back, sadly. There are too many other super places to become complacent in food prep. Wake up owners. Might want to take a closer look at who's cooking. Service was awesome, but I came for breakfast.

Yelp
Very overpriced. Came here for breakfast & I had eggs, half a baguette & 2 small pieces of turkey sausage and it was $19! Breakfast was pretty basic and everything on the breakfast menu was overpriced & not worth the prices they are charging considering you are eating in a very plain bakery. Waiter was very nice but I would rather spend the same amount at a nicer restaurant with better ambiance and more unique breakfast offerings.

Jenna G.

Yelp
Delicious food and fast service from Maddy. Little cozy cafe and dining experience. The goat cheese quiche was very creamy and savory, the orange juice was so fresh, and the mocha latte was magnificent and creamy. It was pricey but good quality.

Sandra E.

Yelp
The servings are quite small. The French toast is made with a cake mixture very thick and sweet, so the eggs mixture stays on the outside it is mostly a cake that's it. Pls do not call French Toast to something that is not . Very disappointed of this place . Will not visit again .
google avatar

Yelp
Very nice coffee shop that is located right across from a public parking lot making it very convenient. Good selection of both breakfast and lunch items and a rather large pastry selection. Some things may run out before you get there, so please keep that in mind. Limited out door seating, can get rather full inside quick seating as well. The staff here is very friendly and the owner wants to make sure you come in happy and leave the same way. Prices are average, portions are medium to rather large. No ice tea was a let down (homemade) The bread and the jelly were above average. I would certainly keep an eye on this place for a breakfast/lunch spot in the Gables.

Yelp
Always a favorite for special occasion cakes or a weekend brunch! We love the bakery items and the fresh breakfast is great, it can be a little busy, like all coral gables spots but the offer takeout and counter service for small things like coffees and pastries.

Alvaro C.

Yelp
The service at Chocolate fashion is very good. the wait staff makes you feel at home. We were given the table we wanted. they did not hurry us during our meal. the sandwiches wit the French bread were of high quality and delicious. the deserts, of course, were very good. i am not a dessert person but, the people in my party are. they enjoyed them.

Yelp
This is my number one brunch spot everything here is delicious pancakes are very fresh, their French toast is one of the best I've had , all their sandwiches are made with fresh baguettes, great selection of natural juices, truffles , macarrones, my kids are always happy to come herethe egg Benedicts are offered only on weekends and they taste omG wait their croissants are amazing, in other words everything is good ,and I find their prices also very affordable compare to other brunch miami locations . They are very attentive and very polite to all customers !

Yelp
Too bad... breakfast.. #1. Should never have to have empty coffee.. 1 cup never returned.. #2 - if the hollandaise don't cover the pouched eggs.. well, that's not hollandaise! Too thin... 19.95.. not there! I hate to say these comments.. just no so good! Maybe next time.. maybe! Chef ray aka short chef

Yelp
TRY THE prosciutto and Brie sandwich. AMAZING. the croissants are good but not the best in Miami. Croissants are a solid 7/10. But the Brie and prosciutto sandwich is amazing so simple yet delicious

Yelp
I love going their for breakfast it's such a cute place with good energy good food and the best pastries in Coral Gables the orange juice is fresh the coffee is really good and they always have a great service they have tables outside to sit out.You must go there and have a pastry afterwards and enjoy a cup a coffee or chocolate is the licious I had the guava and cheese pastry. I also like that it has a lot of parking because I hate the parking situation in some places in Coral Gables but there's a parking lot right across the street there's a lot of street parking . I also had lunch their and I love the lu

Yelp
Chocolate Fashion may not have the best name in the world, but their food is consistently good. Their weekend brunches are delicious. Favourites include "Eggs Florentine" & their "Potatoes Lyonnaise" (Sautéed Onions and Potatoes in Olive Oil with Black Pepper) are NOT to be missed. Recently had lunch there with my guy. He ordered the "Homemade Roasted Turkey & Raspberrie on Toasted Multigrain" (Thick Slices of Roasted Turkey Breast with Imported Seedless Raspberry Jam) & loved it. I chose the "Caprese on Baguette" (Fresh Mozzarella,Tomatoes, Basil, Olive Oil and Balsamic Vinegar) & while it was good, I had to send it back TWICE for the same, exact thing. Each time it was brought out to me dry. As in NO olive oil & NO vinegar. Not sure what was the misunderstanding but once I finally had the dressing, I was good to go & the baguette was spectacular! Great local spot!

Yelp
Wonderful! Stopped here on my way to the airport. Sat at a cute little table outside, and had a delightful brunch. The staff is so attentive and the food/coffee was delicious. Will return the next time I'm in Miami!

Yelp
Yesterday, Sunday, I called to see if they have red velvet cake. The woman I spoke with said yes. I arrived and asked for a red velvet cake. I was provided what I thought was a red velvet cake and charged accordingly. To clarify, I don't know anything about cakes or red velvet cakes. Which is why I buy them from cake businesses when someone asks me to get one as a gift. I get home and come to find it's not a red velvet cake but a chocolate cake. So chocolate fashion not only told me over the phone they had what I asked for when they didn't but sold me something I didn't ask for. 0/2 I called today, Monday, to explain what happened am told to return the cake for a refund. I arrive at the store at 3pm and they're closed! After I had been told by an employee to come and return the item. This is beyond stupid. This place wasn't that good to begin with, the service is obviously terrible and completely incompetent and overpriced. I'll never come back

Yelp
REAL, FLAKY, BUTTERY CROISSANTS. Excuse my yelling, but it's imperative that you know where you can find the real deal. It's a never ending quest for real croissants in my life, and the few that exist in Miami deserve true praise. A croissant should be so good on it's own that you don't have to order it toasted or buttered or filled or anything. Just eat it alone and cry if you must, it's okay. Chocolate Fashion nails all the croissants. I also appreciate their fresh squeezed OJ, which should be standard everywhere in Florida. Also love their scones, quiche, cookies, petit fours, macaroons and pretty much everything they make because they really know what they're doing. I've also catered holiday meals from them for Thanksgiving & Christmas that were epic crowd pleasers. My family may or may not know who really did the cooking, but that's besides the point. All of chocolate fashion's locations stock their authentic pastries, but this one, the original, is my favorite.

Jennifer O.

Yelp
I would Absolutely recommend trying this place! The service was spectacular, and the food was delicious. Such and adorable bakery/cafe.

Yelp
Chocolate Fashion is always a good choice. You can't go wrong here whether it's for a little breakfast or a coffee and dessert date. Their desserts are yummy. My favorite is their tarts (apricot). The pastries and croissants are also delightful (we love the guava and cream cheese one). My bf and I went here and he got the two eggs any style. It's was kind of lame and missing a little flavor, but I got the quiche and it was delicious. I think you should steer clear of the basics and get something exciting or French here and you'll be impressed. The desserts are by far my favorite. Then the quiches, croissants, etc. I will say that I've been going on and off for years to get the apricot tart and it's consistency delightful. Also, this is a mom and pop shop, and I'm always happy to support a woman own and minority owned business! Probably one of the best bakeries and cafes in the mile area. Chocolate fashion is a classic.

Yelp
Go elsewhere. This place used to be great. Now it's mediocre at best. This is the second disappointment in two weeks only this time it was a crap sandwich served with a tall glass of attitude and an over charge for good measure. Here's their 13.95 special sandwich, which is 12.95 on their online menu but don't bring it to their attention because they cannot be bothered to look at their own site when you tell them they are charging you the wrong price. I told the girl at check out and she argued that is was 13.95 and that I was wrong. I went back to my office with my bagged lunch only to open up to this underwhelming excuse for a sandwich. I double checked the site, and I was right on the price. I called to let the girl know she overcharged me and she tried to argue about the math and then brushed me off saying the didn't have time to look at the website to check. This doesn't even look like a $4 sandwich. Won't be disappointed, overcharged or served sass here again.

Yelp
Wonderful local bakery and cafe... I've been a patron since they opened. Their bakery makes incredible chocolate delights, pastries, croissants, cakes, breads, and more. On my most recent visit we picked up some multigrain bread, a baguette, and some chocolate pastry delights for an at-home birthday celebration. We also picked up some delicious chocolate-filled croissants... a real treat to take home and warm in the oven. They make you feel very welcomed here... even in these pandemic times... all safety protocols are in play. They do have some outside tables, but we've recently only picked up for takeaway. Parking in the Gables can be a challenge, but there is a garage a short walk away if you can't find parking street-side. They're open early for coffee and breakfast... always a treat!

Yelp
The place was nice and enjoyable. The chicken was ok until you dip it into the gravy that came with mash potato. I got some desert for the girlfriend so let see how they taste.
google avatar

Stephanie B.

Yelp
This is a great place to visit for pastries and desserts. Recently visited for lunch and ordered a salad with chicken which was large, delicious, and beautifully plated! I always visited here for a pastry here and there or maybe breakfast but did not frequent for lunch. Knowing now that they have a great lunch selection, I will definitely be back!
google avatar

Yelp
They don't have the space to grow more but they should! This place is delish! You can park in the street or in the lot up front. If you come in a group you might have to wait a bit. I tried their quiche lorraine with a side salad and the iced coffee. The plate was fresh and warm, just like it should be and the iced coffee was even pretty to look at. The service was quick and they were on top of it through our visit. I will be back to try some of the sweets, the lemon one looked insane.

Yelp
We would like to thank chocolate fashion for selling the best Palmeritas ever. We had them for our wedding. We personalized the package but we got them at chocolate fashion. They were on time, flexible, very nice and good customer service. We tried several cookies but Palmeritas are the best!!!! They also make the best hollandaise sauce for eggs Benedict. And the Tortilla Española is delicious. We love chocolate fashion. Thank you Guys. You're awesome!

Yelp
Love this little bakery/brunch place on Andalusia. It used to be the famous Andalusia Bakery. We live the atmosphere. They have an extended outside area on the street surrounded by plants. Their baking goods selection is phenomenal. I ordered the hot moccha latte which was great. Please note that they started offering almond or soy milk for a $1 surcharge. I had to try the Eggs Florentine after I heard about it on Shitt's Creek, they were good but I'm not the spinach type if person so next time I would probably opt for the Petit Breakfast (basically a croissant egg sandwich). They have special items for the weekends but if you wanted to order from the regular breakfast menu after 11.30 am, there is a charge of $3 extra. My husband ordered the Croque Monsieur and liked it a lot. My toddler had eaten before we arrived so we only ordered him a fruit salad which I thought was a bit steep for $7.25 but it came out in a big bowl with fresh and sweet fruit such as raspberries, kiwi, blueberries, mangos, and more. I tried some of it and it ended up being worth. We ordered the almond chocolate croissant (sooo delicious) and guava croissant (yummy as well) for dessert. The food came out quickly. We had a great experience and will be back.

Yelp
No food here just straight up desserts that were up to the challenge of a budding junior MasterChef's palate. Fights were had over to how to split these oh so delectable treats. Key lime pie oh so tangy but not too much, strawberry tart that did not have that horrible glaze that overpowers most, berry tart sweet & tangy berries oh so right, & a chocolate cake that had a mousse layer. There was no wrong w/any of our selections. They were gone in a flash. It was walking distance from our hotel which can be a bonus on a steamy day. We'll be back on our next visit :)

Yelp
It has been too long since I was last here but now that I've visited this place recently I plan to return more often. This is a restaurant that offers breakfasts, lunch, pastries and all types of desserts. It is located in the Gables and have been at this address for years. I usually come for breakfast on the weekends or lunch. They have a set menu and also specials that vary every day. The food is flavorful, delicious and prepared with care. In my last visit I had the salmon Benedict served on a croissant, an almond croissant and a capuccino. Everything was delicious, the service was good and the prices were reasonable.
google avatar

Shira L.

Yelp
A cute bakery with a variety of breakfast and lunch options. The baguette is so fresh. I ordered a chocolate croissant, Chorizo omelette, the potatoes, and spinach and cheese quiche which was the quiche of the day. Everything was delicious and service was on par.

Yelp
Chocolate Fashion is one of the BEST COFFEE SHOP in the Gables ( in my opinion). I am really in love with this place. Service is always fast and on point, stuff always willing to help, extremely friendly and professional!!! I was in the middle of writing this review and... I think I just got a sign!!! For the past weeks I have been watching videos and pictures about the meat industry. I have been reading and researching on how they treat animals. All I know by now is that my heart is broken by the knowledge I have after all these information. Animals don't have a voice to defend themselves, some of them are just pure babies ripped from their mothers and then killed to be consume by us. The suffering from the moment they are born to the moment they are slaughter are just horrifying. I can't even describe it! I have been eating meat since I was born, that's all I knew, I was raised like that, not knowing how or where my meal was coming from. After these past weeks and until know I believed it was just fine. Some of us will never watch the videos I watched. Some of us will never research information about animal cruelty. Some of us will keeping ignoring the facts and the animal suffering! Some of us will still consuming animals. I am not trying to change the way this world works or change anybody's mind but I will try to change my world and try to help others and mostly, help all these suffering animals by no consuming them in any way possible. I am truly disgusted and sad This message might be lost here or nobody might read it or pay attention to it , be ignored, but if only I could be able to show how I feel and educate in any way somebody the way I am being educated, this could be the beginning to the end. I feel very sorry for our animals and I am truly sorry for their suffering This little cow toy ( coffe picture) was giving to me by a person while I was thinking about the animal suffering and at that moment was a sign for me I asked! Why are you giving this to me... and she replied . , "I just felt the need to give it to you" I know this has nothing to do with a restaurant review, even though, I felt the need to post it. Someone out there might be feeling the same way I feel about animal cruelty. People don't want to be embarrassed by writing about what's going on with out animals but I don't really care about negative comments. The need to help those in need is much more powerful than to be embarrassed by this review.

Yelp
Chocolate Fashion has such an enticing name and when you step inside you are immediately greeted with glass cases filled with amazing desserts. Now the point of places such as this are mainly for their desserts however they do advertise breakfast so I decided to take them up on that. I decided to order a simple egg and cheese on a croissant and though it was extremely tasty, I found it to be too overpriced. Since the croissants are baked fresh in the bakery, that is a separate charge, then add in the egg, and finally 3 additional dollars for their fresh cheddar cheese. All in all I spent about $13 for a simple breakfast. I was happy to discover that it was in fact scrumptious, however still no egg and cheese croissant that simple should cost that much. I also had a chai latte from there and that was quite good as well. Overall I had a good experience there, however next time I think I will just stick to their dessert.

Yelp
This spot is a gem. was a nice find while I was down here to go check out cafe Grumpy. Its around the corner from there. Inviting staff, nice menu, pastries, and the food is amazing. Definitely check it out if you are in the area, you are not going to regret it I guarantee it

Yelp
Not sure if there is new ownership or management at this location but the quality of the food, value of what you get and customer service has gone way down. Rude and argumentative employees, overcharging has become commonplace, they do not honor their menu prices or the prices online, sometimes tack on an extra dollar or two, hoping no one notices but customers have most definitely noticed. However, when inquiring about the surprise increases in prices outside of the menu prices, customers are insulted by employees in front of other customers...no one wants to get into an uncivilized screaming match with disrespectful employees at this location. People literally just walk out and get their meal somewhere else that will appreciate their business. The quality of the food has diminished to the point that it's not even worth stopping in for a coffee anymore with so many great restaurants in the area. Add in the staff berating customers when questioning the prices and the subpar quality of what is being served at ridiculously inflated prices above what is printed on the menu and that means this place will not likely be around for too much longer. Very sad because Chocolate Fashion used to be a great neighborhood eatery. What a shame. Hope they get their act together soon or move out to make room for a business that will be able to treat customers with respect, honor their printed prices and take pride in what they serve up.

Yelp
First time in...on a 'stressful Mercury Retrograde Of a horrible Wednesday'. After reading the reviews, I had to try their French Toast. I was charged an extra $3, which I was informed of, ahead of time and agreed to (I think it's because I ordered 'breakfast' at 5:30pm). Definitely was worth the charge! My French Toast was nice and warm, and came out fairly quickly (there were only 3 other patrons in the restaurant at this time). It was made so perfectly, not dry...more on the wet side, like I love it -- Sweet enough, didn't even need syrup. The waitress was sweet too! Definitely will come back!

Yelp
The food is great, BUT AT LEAST 3 separate times, ordering from Uber eats has lead to cancelled orders, or missing food. They will typically cancel after at least 1 hour and 20 has passed. Super disappointed. Recent time just happened a few minutes ago! SUPER disappointed.

Yelp
Stopped by here for a quick breakfast while waiting for my car to get serviced and it was great. Had a ham and cheddar omelette, double espresso with cream and an apple turnover. Everything was well priced, delicious, and the waitress was attentive and friendly. The desserts in the glass display looked amazing, but those will be for another time perhaps. Would definitely eat here again if I'm the area.

Yelp
Last night I was delighted to try a cake from Chocolate Fashion. I was told they have good sandwiches as week as their desserts. So after running some errands, I checked to see if they were open today. Yelp says they are open until 5pm, and so my boyfriend and I got to Chocolate Fashion at 3:36. They seemed to be closed from the outside but we walked in and saw a hand written sign on the door saying they are open until 4. Ok, we get out sandwiches to go with a raspberry chocolate tart. We got the turkey, honey and brea on beget and the tuna salad on focaccia. They have maybe two slices of turkey on the turkey sandwich. The focaccia bread was good. The guy who took our take out order handed us the food and kept saying bye-bye! We get it, we ordered to go, but it seemed like he was chasing us out. Other people came in after us so I'm not sure why he was so eager to get customers out so quickly. It wasn't a welcoming environment and the sandwiches were ok. Not $15 worth each. I suppose if we go back it might be to pick up and go for dessert.

Yelp
A coworker of mine and I have the tendency of brunching it up. After going to various places on weekends, she suggested we go to Chocolate Fashion, and boy, I am super happy she did. This small bakery is simply to die for! We ended up eating outside and the weather was amazing - sunny and slightly windy. That being said, my coworker ordered a meat omelette and some American coffee. I ordered a vegetable omelette, and wow, I cannot believe they charge extra for vegetables, but oh well. It's well worth it. The omelettes came with sides of meat (I opted out of mine personally) and thank goodness I did. The omelette was huge and it also brought toast; my coworker's did, too. I had a cappuccino, as well, that was beyond amazing. Seriously love this place. I do wish we had had room for dessert, but we will return another time for sure. Oh, and before I forget, parking here is actually decent. It is literally right in front of a parking garage. Woohoo! Chocolate Fashion is definitely worth a visit.
