Choice Juicery is always a fun treat! I had a morning to myself and knew exactly how I wanted to spend it, with a book, the beach, and a smoothie bowl. I got the Avatar with granola and strawberries, it was so fresh and refreshing! Highly recommend!

A great place to enjoy a nice, quick bite to eat, smoothie, or bowls. Our 2 meals, the Macho Taco Salad and the Coconut Bakon Cobb Salad were very good, filling and reasonably priced at $11 and $12. We also ordered 2 different smoothies: Mint Chip and Orange Dreamsicle. We would easily revisit those place next time we are in the area! A nice sitting area outside to enjoy their food!

They sold me a salad in a plastic container for $16 with my smoothie I spend $28 paper napkins and plastic fork. The service was absent. the eating area was poor. Around the corner on State Street is a fine cantina where you get personal service, food on a plate with flatware and terrific ambience for a bought the same price. OK Choice is organic but it just doesn't make sense economically

Very nice fast service. The smoothies are amazing, packed with very healthy ingredients, and esthetically amazing. We had unicorn with raspberry chia jam and avatar (instead of banana we asked for strawberries). If I had time I would come to grab lunch as well, their meal menu is so healthy and beautiful! I enjoyed it a lot.

One out of three of us liked what we ordered (as in take two drinks and toss it in the trash). It was like throwing money away. Maybe we are just not super food fans. We'll stick with processed sugar and fried food. 😁

Love this space. Everything organic and they make their own almond milk (none of that boxed junk here). They even sprout their almonds. Lots of smoothie, juice selections. I also tried their coffee drink, highly recommend. Delicious baked goods. Great green space for the kids to play. Clean restrooms. Yoga on Saturday morns! Return your glass jars for $1 off next one.

Great vegan juices and smoothies! Unfortunately the banana muffins are tiny mini muffins for $5.75 and the salads had brown avocado and soggy lettuce with the expiration date removed. I think it would’ve been good had they kept it fresh. It was way past best by for sure.

My new favorite place for juice and healthy snacks. This place is vegan friendly, plant 🌱 base - juices 🥤 and smoothies that are worth every cent. Staff is super friendly and easy to communicate with. I recommend this place to everyone that is in the area. Great atmosphere to hang out with friends and children friendly.

Really yummy juices, smoothies, and bowls but they're definitely priced high. If you're looking for a healthy snack - this is definitely the joint. Just be prepared for long lines, long wait times, and high prices. Overall if you're in the area, it's worth giving it a shot but def not a regular visit for me.

Got my first smoothie from here now that I've moved to the neighborhood. The outside area is so nice and it's a decent place to work with strong wifi. I got the peanut or almond butter smoothie (honestly can't remember now). My only hesitation is that the cashier couldn't really tell me what the ingredients in the butter was. I've been watching what I eat and have been trying to avoid seed oils, so would be cool to be able to see what smoothies/etc have no added sugar and are still satiating enough for a good breakfast. All in all, 10/10 for the vibe. 4/5 for the product/etc. Would love to learn more about the ingredients for these items (i.e. it says organic on the storefront, but are the items they use really organic, etc?)

Choice Superfood bar and juicery is located in Carlsbad. I was greeted upon entering and friendly vibes all around. I wanted a smoothie; I stopped by for their superhero smoothie that had sprouted almonds, dates, banana, choice superfood protein, and oat milk. I enjoyed it as everything was fresh and organically awesome. They offer an array of other smoothies that I look forward to trying including Ciao Bella, hot sunrise, and turmeric latte (a hot beverage). Ready to eat options, healthy snacks, and even sushi available here. The restrooms were clean and the staff were super friendly. I would definitely revisit and a special thanks to Michelle. This is one of our regular spots for a light, healthy breakfast in Carlsbad. It used to be a lot cleaner than it is these days (lots of wear and tear everywhere) compared to a few years ago, but the smoothies are still delicious. The people working at this location are super friendly, so it makes up for the not-so-great ambiance these days. But you're still near the village, by the beach, hard to complain!

I have heard many good things about this place so I tried it out on my birthday walk. The warrior bowl was so delicious and not overly sweet. There was only one person in front of me and I only waited 4 min but after I got my bowl there was a huge line. The whole area is outside and it's a great spot for kids or friends to get a smoothie or bowl. The staff were very friendly and overall I would totally come again.

Great little place right in the heart of carlsbad village. Solid menu ranging from smoothies to bowls, to juices. Outdoor seating is plentiful and the service is always pretty good. A bit on the pricey side, but that's expected given the product quality. I will mention that they're hella inconsistent. I order the same thing (warrior bowl, Oak base w strawberries and banana), every time and it's always different. Sometimes granola on bottom, sometimes on top, sometimes on top & bottom and sometimes no granola at all... hmmph!

Was craving a smoothie and/or an Acai bowl and luckily Choice was right now the street from our hotel. I ordered a Warrior Bowl and it was yummy. Kinda pricey at $16 but totally worth. When I return to Carlsbad, I will definitely visit Choice again. The vibe totally cool and cute. Lots of families, kids and dogs.

Was only here briefly, but my smoothie was delicious! Salted caramel (without coffee), it took me a minute to decide which one to get, they all sounded delicious! Would love to try their smoothie bowls next time.

Cute place. Decent size smoothie menu but not overwhelming. Good for dogs and bathrooms on site.

Highly recommend this spot if you're in Carlsbad. It's a great place to study, socialize or just eat/drink healthy foods. Animal friendly also!!! Service was amazing. Everyone was knowledgeable and friendly. The entire place is amazing. It has its own vibe when you walk up to it... The last thing but maybe the most important part. For what I purchased, I was well priced!

Flavor 5/5 The mint bowl is the absolute best açaí bowl I have ever eaten! I also enjoyed their little homemade snacks. Price 3/5 Quite expensive for a smoothie place. Although, the price is justified in my eyes because of the quality. Quality 5/5 100% organic, and some things are made in-house organic, which you will not find anywhere else! Service 5/5 Despite being so busy at this location, they got the orders quickly. Even when the orders were flying in, the workers were still kind and attentive. Ambiance: beachy, fun, & organic.

Choose happiness! I certainly do!! Choice Superfood Bar and Juicery is my go-to for REAL yummy healthy smoothies/beverages as well as yummy food despite the wait...which is worth it I guess. There are so much to choose from...organic, cold pressed, superfood, vegan, gluten free, etc. It's located in the heart of Carlsbad Village... outdoors so it's not hard to miss. Choice itself is a cute open shipping container. Great place for pet owners and sun worshipers! I've been a few times and always leave satisfied with what I ordered. But like I said, I usually I have to wait a bit...wish they had quicker service.

I got their juice here but it was $9 which is a little bit overpriced in my opinion as it was already premade. Tasted ok..

On a sunny afternoon, we stopped by the corner of Carlsbad Village Drive and State Street in Carlsbad and tried two smoothies from Choice. This place is dog friendly, bike friendly, kid friendly and basically has a good vibe for people watching and rehydrating while on a bike ride. It has artificial grass, lots of benches and lounging chairs. I ordered the Warrior (green) since I was listening to a Tony Robbins seminar recently and they said you need to bring out your Warrior. So fitting. The Warrior was amazingly tasty, kinda sweet taste like frozen yogurt. I got it with oat milk. It is green, yeah, healthy, but has good flavor. Date, banana, almond butter, spiralina, Choice protein powder and spinach. The Strawberry Zen was not as sweet as expected. Strawberries, protein powder, bananas and dates. My boyfriend liked it. Considering the ingredients, I expected it to be super sweet, but it wasn't. Zen! Great flavors. Nice relaxing atmosphere. A little noisy because it is at a busy intersection and there is a open airy bar next door playing music. But for us, it was the perfect place to stop for a smoothie at the two hour mark of a 4 hour bike ride.

The line can be long but worth the wait! and always amazing service! Try ordering online :)

I'm not a big juice or smoothie gal, but the family wanted to stop for a snack. Overall, 5/5 stars. We got the following drinks: - Avatar with extra protein (w/out extra protein it only had 7-9 grams) was the crowd favorite. It was smooth, sweet, but not too overpowering. - açaí was a standard açaí taste - strawberry zen tasted like a "less sugary" strawberry shake - coffee buzz had an earthy coffee taste The staff were also very helpful and friendly! The chick at the register and the one making the smoothies were very knowledgeable about the drinks and helped me narrow down my decision based on my likes and their recommendations. The price seemed on par with standard Southern California "superfoods." They also had a cute outdoor area with bathrooms available. Parking was a little difficult, but it was to be expected (downtown location).

The best juice in San Diego county. You will not regret going here. I think it is the Sunshine that had a little Cayenne pepper in it. It is wonderful with just the right amount of spice. For reference, I'm not a huge spicy eater.

Stumbled upon this place in Carlsbad Village since we needed a pick me up. It's a great place to chill, sit outside, and grab a healthy snack! They have smoothies, premade drinks, and food. Grabbed their PB&J which had chia seed jelly of some sort mixed with the peanut butter- delicious! We grabbed two kale snacks because it was literally delicious crack! Don't get the electrolyte superaid drink! It's definitely more on the sour side so would advise not to get that. Service was no problem and everyone was friendly! They even have bathrooms to use, and dog friendly. Ambiance- 5/5 Taste- 5/5 Service-5/5

NOT fresh for $13. For $13 I expect my juice to be FRESHLY made. And be careful REALLY careful opening their pre-made juices. Better yet have them open it for you so they deal with the 1/2 the jar splashing all over their uniforms. (Seriously NOT COOL when you're going to work)

Tried Choice for the first time and was very impressed! Wanted a smoothie that had benefits vs just fruit and it did not disappoint. I tried the unicorn and my sister had the warrior both very good! And the protein balls was also very good!

I was not impressed with this place it took way to long. And while I was waiting they got a few ordered wrong as people brought them back.. the place is nice you can hang out and people watch. It seems like a mommy hang out bringing their kids and letting them be kids pretty cool. Dog friendly.. they girls who work here a very friendly

I went to this place every single day for a week when my mom was in town! I love the Carlsbad location because the chill outdoor space allows for fresh air, has restrooms, and gives off those mellow beach vibes. The bowls and smoothies here are amazingly delicious, everything is vegan and gluten-free, and they have awesome small breakfast-lunch plates if you're in the mood for more than a smoothie bowl. The avocado toast is awesome. I have tried the acai bowl, the coffee buzz, and the mint chip smoothie bowls, and I can't wait to try more flavors! The acai and mint chip so far have been my favorites. The girls there are sweet and make great recs for extra toppings. Oh, and the homemade granola and other superfoods are available to purchase and take home, as is their hearty gluten-free loaf! It's nice to have that granola at home for my yogurt as a special treat (it's sweetened with coconut sugar). I always feel great after I eat here (or drink--fresh juices too!), and love that in the summer I have time for a beach walk, a stop here for a nutritious breakfast, and a little window shopping in the Village!

Okay the juices here are legit. They actually taste freshly juiced and do not taste watered down. I absolutely love and appreciate that the ingredients were organic and came in a glass jar. 5/5 The Caesar salad wasn't as good as I thought it would be though. Kinda bland and too many chickpeas. 3/5

I absolutely love this kid friendly spot! My 2 toddlers are always super happy to use the chalkboard and have space to roam while we have our smoothies. The staff here are all so incredibly friendly. My son insists on having the unicorn smoothie he called a "dragon" smoothie and the employees always write dragon and call it that instead. It's so sweet! Last time they even drew a dragon on his cup. It's the little ways they go above and beyond for the customers and the great atmosphere in Carlsbad village that keep us coming back!

This place is just the best. Clean ingredients, amazing flavors, and a cute place to just hang. Choice is always busy so don't come here if you're looking to be in and out fast. This is the place to come when you have an extra half hour to relax and enjoy the beach vibes and sunshine. Our forever order - PBJ smoothie + spinach. It's just so freaking good and there's nothing else like it anywhere. It's packed full of the good stuff. It's definitely NOT cheap ($11!), but it's also as filling as a full meal. Staff is always sweet & the music is always bumping.

Went in for a smoothie today, and the young man working was a delight. So polite and helpful! Great experience. I'll be coming back.

I've been coming here for at least 5 years. The staff is usually AMAZING friendly and helpful. I would expect that when I'm paying $18 for an Acai bowl. Today was not the experience I've come yo expect. Michelle and Andi were both working today and placing my order was like pulling teeth. I told her what I wanted and she asked if I wanted ALL the toppings? I was pretty clear on what I wanted. I then asked for my bowl to be split, when I received it it wasn't -- whatever I'll take it and share with my husband but wanted to let them know so I simply stated "I asked for this to be split" Andi looked at me with a blank stare, as if I was speaking a different language, I said "do you know know what I mean"? She said "I didn't take your order". Instead of oh man I'm so sorry. Anyway the bowl had hardly any granola on it and FOR THE FIRST TIME AT CHOICE, I felt ripped off and ad a very unpleasant experience. SERVICE TERRIBLE!

So, so, so good! I love the strawberry zen smoothie. The workers are always super friendly and it's a cute little spot. A great place to stop by in the summer!

We visited occasionally past 4years , this business will gladly take your money at 6:20 and push you out @6:30. closing the gates on us. Manger had horrible attitude, no patience or consideration for someone trying to finish their meal. We ask to give 5mins to finish our meal. She said "you have a few seconds before I lock the gates and was pushy to get us out within seconds.

Just picked up a PBJ bowl. Was not impressed they handed me a container of soup basically. It was all melted. Paid for peanut butter added on and there was no thickness of any peanut butter, just a soupy container with fruit added. I'll stick with everbowl next time. And the girl behind the counter with a Choose Happiness shirt had the meanest look to the customers. Way too intense.

AMAZING, point blank period!! Highly recommend especially this place being healthier than most other places...

Choice Juicery is a 100% vegan outdoor cafe that offers healthy and organic, light entrees, bowls, juices and protein shakes. It is nice to take a break from the usual vegan comfort food, that tends to be fried and processed and enjoy quality whole food plant based eating. Nothing fancy, just a cute little fake grassy area to have a quick bite to eat or pick up something on the go. Unfortunately, when I visited they were unable to serve nachos because they were missing a key ingredient to create the chips. (Due to a shortage). I ended up ordering the Avacado Toast and the Superhero vanilla smoothie. The Avocado Toast was lightly crunchy, grainy squares as the bread and the avocado was smooth and delicious. The Superhero smoothie was thick, not overly sweet or surgary but had a nice natural flavor. Also all of their smoothies contain protein but additional protein can be added for a small charge. Fairly inexpesive for healthy, organic food that is homemade and tastes pretty amazing!

Poor customer service I went three mornings in a row. Each morning, I ordered online because I had a very tight schedule. The first morning, the person behind the counter said they never got my order, then said it was there but didn't print out "for some reason." The second morning, with a different employee, everything was fine. This morning, with two different employees, I was told to wait in line to pick up my online order. I asked what was the point then of ordering online? One of the employees even said that my order was ready, but I still had to wait in line, when I had already been waiting over 5 minutes. So, know this, if you order online from them, you will still have to wait in whatever line is there.

My love of Choice Juicery has evolved as they've continued to improve their awesomeness with their all Organic offerings. I'll always love this OG location. You can't go wrong with any of their juices or smoothies. I love that they have organic gluten free toast and you can buy a loaf of their bread they use, too. The Mediterranean salad with quinoa and other deliciousness is amazing as is their sushi, those are my two go-tos for lunch. Their bottle return program has returned since going away since the events of March 2020. Every city should have a Choice Juicery.

Visited Choice on a recent trip to Carlsbad and was not disappointed! Located just off the main strip, Choice is a perfect pit stop to grab a smoothie to sip on while wandering through adorable Carlsbad Village. If you're on the hungry side, they have a variety of entrees on the menu as well! The service was quick and friendly, my smoothie was delicious, and the place was super cute and clean. It's all outdoors, but there are plenty of shaded spots to hang if you prefer to sit and dine. Best part - they are dog friendly!

Such a cute place and the location is perfect. I had the beet chia juice- it was fresh and satisfying. They make it fresh daily. All organic and is perfectly balanced. I highly recommend it! My daughter had a strawberry zen smoothie. She said the flavor was delicious, but the texture was chalky. It took a while to get her smoothie... not due to lack of staff, but rather a lack of urgency by the staff. One member was talking about her personal life the entire time while someone else was trying to work. I'd be annoyed if that was my coworker. Lol.

This place is in a cute location and sometimes makes good drinks. I'm a local and love supporting small businesses, so even after I was served drinks that were made incorrectly, I still came back to support a Carlsbad business. Unfortunately, it will be my last. I don't want to have to continually ask for my drink to be made properly :( Almond milk and Oat milk ARE NOT the same.

This place is the best I wish I lived closer to one the bowls are sooo good and so many options as well as the drinks! Look online for their secret menu of deliciousness!

We have been here several times while walking around in the village. SERVICE - The cashier who took our order was upbeat and friendly. We were starting our day at choice so she was a great interaction to begin with! FOOD Salted Caramel Smoothie Bowl - I had saw this on Instagram and the cashier told me it was a secret menu item. Holy moly this bowl was soooo good! It had a hint of coffee flavoring topped with granola, banana, and "salted caramel". I'm craving another one as I type this. The bowl was pricey but well worth it as the serving size was decent. The area itself is really cute if you want to grab a healthy breakfast and hangout. We will be back!

Pricey but consistently yummy! I go to Carlsbad village often w the puppers and it's always nice to grab something chilled and refreshing for a beach walk on a hot day. It's always super busy! The açaí toppings are preset, you have to pay extra if you want more/different toppings.

Omg. I was hardcore craving a smoothie bowl after a long walk, and this place HIT THE SPOT. Everything is plant-based and organic. I ordered the PB&J smoothie bowl and the lovely gal working there was super helpful with recommendations. She suggested adding their house made granola, which was amazing. I also bought the owner's plant- based cookbook and can't wait to read through the beautiful recipes! I'm so glad this place exists.

This place solidly met my expectations- yes, still overpriced, and yes, not a true juicery.... but I came because I was curious about the coconut bakon. I rarely eat out anymore, but I called this experience "field research" so I could study the components to recreate them at home. (I often cannot tell texture and stuff from just reading recipes). The (vegan) Caesar Salad was really good! Lots of bold flavors and textures going on here. The Brazil nut parmesan added a nice texture, and the cashew dressing was thick and delicious. The bakon was a bit sweet, chewy and smoky... when I make my own, I will axe the maple syrup but definitely keep the liquid smoke. I ate the roasted chickpeas on the side as a snack- I didn't see them to be easy to eat with a fork atop the salad. While the space is much smaller because Crackheads took over some of the lawn, there's still ample seating and the vibe is still really chill. Overall, if I find myself in the area and wanting to eat clean, I will definitely keep this place in mind. Pros: - organic, whole, real food - location - has a restroom Cons: - way overpriced

Always super friendly service, consistently delicious smoothies. Love that they are health conscious and use organic ingredients, sustainable packaging, and their milks are made in-house. I personally think the prices are very reasonable given that they use higher quality ingredients. My favorite smoothies are the chocolate superhero and the mint chip. Hubby loves the coffee buzz and the PB&J. Try adding cacao nibs or coconut/almond butter for a yummy boost! I've tried a few of their salads as well and they're healthy and yummy. They have a nice grassy area to sit and enjoy that's also dog friendly. Good location in the heart of Carlsbad in the village, walking distance to The Goods nearby where I always stop to pick up some donuts to have alongside my smoothie!

This is quite the concept. They are in a choice location in Carlsbad out of a shipping container. Very hipster. They seem to share their real estate with crackheads next-door. This is a 2 1/2 block walk to the main state beach entrance. It's all vegan and they have juice, smoothies, salads and some gluten-free avocado toast options. There's no inside seating but there is some outdoor seating on Astroturf with a succulent wall as a backdrop. It's pretty pricey and they charge a dollar for the juice glass deposit that you can only redeem with your next purchase on your next visit. The customer service is pretty spotty, but other than that I am a fan.

The one star is because of how outrageously expensive this place is. This business is in a container people. Rent is probably not that much nevertheless, we had 3 iced coffees ( which is regular coffee with ice ) and 3 mini muffins (when I say mini muffins I mean really mini ) Spent $32.00. The mini muffins 3.75 each plus almost 7 iced coffees!!!! Insane. !!!! Setting is ok nothing to write home about. The service was ok. But wait there is more. For the coffee they don't have regular milk or raw sugar . When I asked for these two things they look at me like I was from another planet. The offered me coconut sugar and oat milk . If you are not a young with money that you can throw away yuppie save your time and money and go somewhere else.

Been having great experiences lately in the early mornings. Anna is a great team member here and represents this business very well. Whoever the owner here is, give her a raise! She deserves it for sure.
