There are many delicious looking fresh products at this store! A staff giving away samples to taste the sweetness of peaches and nectarines! The sweet smell of those fruits are definitely aroma therapy to my soul! We bought good 8 of them for $24! A bit pricy but they are definitely charging for the premium for their location! Come visit and try it out! Cheers 🥂

One of the gentlemen working here was giving out samples of their peaches. We gave it a try and we were not disappointed. Strolled around the market a little longer but couldn’t stop thinking about the peaches. We went back and got some and don’t regret it a bit.

I just had the most amazing yellow plums from here! I've loved everything I've gotten here so far and usually let the vendors tell me what fruit to pick. They also have mango with chamoy sometimes and the mangoes are always the perfect texture. The produce they sell is amazing year round and they really focus on things that are in season.

They were handing out samples of nectarine slices. My son had one and insisted it was the best he had ever had. We bought one, and it was huge! The cashier was nice and cut it up for us. It really was the best nectarine we have ever had and we ear fruit a lot!

All the fruits and veggies are super fresh and sweet. People are friendly, and they have various choices. Love this place!!! Highly recommended.

Google
They were giving out slices of the peaches which were absolutely the best I have ever had. So I proceeded to buy about 6 of them. One of the vendors who was not friendly at all, choice 6 of them as he did not want me to touch and choose the peaches. With huge excitement, I had them at night... had to force feed myself as they were pricy peaches and NONE of them tasted like the delicious ones that they were giving out. This is a typical ploy I have seen in different markets in third world countries, and caught me off guard as I did not expect that from Pike Market. So, be aware!!!

Google
I go here twice a week and am always impressed by the consistent quality of their fruit. Their buyer is uncompromising on quality. Sometimes the peaches and nectarines are extremely delicate, but if you can get them home safely the taste is worth the extra care.

Yelp
There are a number of produce shops at Pike Place, but this one is my favorite. I like that as soon as you get close, no matter how dense the crowd is, there's always an employee immediately ready to assist you. I simply name what I want, and they produce it - onions, carrots, celery, potatoes, turnips, garlic, baby spinach, grapes, and even fresh thyme and parsley! They assemble everything, weight it, and ring it up, faster and more efficiently than I ever have done for myself at a grocery store - and with better prices and quality. Choice Produce, in case you're confused about locations because of the total inadequacy of online maps around the Market, is on the east side of Pike Place, right where Post Alley branches off, next to El Marcado Latino, by the big metal staircase. It's past Franks Produce and Jack's Fish Spot.

Yelp
I'm a fan because of all the places who sell Fuji apples (which, someone please correct me if I'm wrong but these are LOCAL apples) were cheaper than the other stands selling the same Fuji apples! They were huge and delicious. I don't know why there's such a difference in price from one stand to another but if you've got the same stuff, pricing really ought to be the same. In any event, this spot had a great display and loved the pepper garlands hanging around too.

Yelp
They proudly display a sign on their produce that says, "just put the tip in see how it feels." When told that this is extraordinarily insulting to women and they should consider taking it down, the man working the booth said, "I didn't put it there, I just showed up to work."

Yelp
Saw these guys from a tour I got. We got to sample the Taylor's Gold Pear and the Pluot (hybrid of plum and apricot). They were both very delicious: sweet and juicy! My friends and I were definitely going back after the tour was over. Only thing we found as a problem is the price. We weren't too concerned, but we should have because it was pricey! $5 for two fruits! Overall, Pro: sweet delicious fruits, really friendly and down-to-earth employees, thy even pic the fruit for you which is great cause I would not know how to pick some of the wacky stuff they have (I explained how I really like firm nectarines, and he was honest in saying they don't really have any instead of just selling me one to make a sale). Con: really pricey. I was willing because of the fact they workers were so nice and they were just a great group and a local business (I love supporting small businesses!)

Yelp
One of the workers was giving out slices of their pears, so I tried a piece. All the workers are very friendly and funny. It was the juiciest and sweetest pears I've ever had. He gave me another slice, but this time he was feeding it to me lol. I tried some of the other fruit stands, but this is the best one at Pike Place. It's expensive, but worth it. I love pears and would love it as a gift! ;)

Yelp
When I was visiting Seattle and in Pike's Place, this shop caught my eye because everyone I know loves hot peppers. They make a wreathes and other unique hangings of different types of peppers. You can let it dry out or eat as you go. Because I was traveling, I picked up a card so I could order from home (in FLA). I ordered through the website, and about a month later I had to call to inquire about my order. The payment had gone through, but no goods sent. To date, I still haven't gotten my order. If you're in Seattle stop in. If not, you're outta luck.

Yelp
We are huge fans of Choice Produce and Pepper. We always buy our produce form them. They are super friendly and really nice and playful with our children. This makes shopping in the market far more enjoyable for the whole family. I always get great produce and tips for what is particularly tasty that day. About the pepper complaints. We bought one of the pepper wreaths for my in-laws and for some reason it had gone a little bad by the time it got to San Diego. You can't always control what goes on with fresh and dried produce. We told them about it and they sent a new one to our happy in-laws, free of charge.

Yelp
I bought a Chile pepper garland as a gift. I was not told that it should not stay in the box for more than three days. I kept it in the box for less than a week when I gave it to a family member it was moldy. Since I live out of state and could not return the product, they would not give me a refund. Pretty disappointing.

Yelp
Choice Produce and Pepper frequently offers fruit samples in the market. This is exactly how they hook you (and they've hooked me mannnnny times!). I've now purchased fruit from them on numerous occasions, including pears, white peaches, yellow peaches, and white nectarines. They are sink-your-teeth-into-goodness. Really delicious and super fresh. I'd say my favorite is the white nectarine. In terms of service, I love the people who work there. They're friendly and fun.....and typically make jokes as they hand out samples. What I really like is they will advise you which fruit is best the day you come, which makes picking out a fruit a lot easier. I think it also reflects the fact that they want you to be happy and they're not just there to make a quick buck. Like others have said, the downside is they are pretty expensive ($3.99 a pound). Despite the price, this is some of the best fruit I've ever tasted so I find it worth it.

Yelp
I purchased two pepper decorations from them and loved the service and the product. They packaged it nicely so that it was easy to transport home (we were visiting from out-of-state).

Yelp
The guys work here are super friendly and fun! They have nice fresh produce. They have nice pepper ornaments hanging from the ceiling and they are absolutely beautiful and unique! I would definitely have bought one if I wasn't traveling.

Yelp
I was visiting Seattle from Vancouver and went to buy a bunch of garlic. The man working there told me that the garlic was old, then took it back and said it was replaced recently so I should actually be fine. When I opened up the garlic it is all green and mushy on the inside and all of the bulbs cannot be used. I am disappointed that I was mislead about the freshness of the garlic and cannot use it.

Yelp
I love Choice Produce. They are the best fruit stand in Pike Place Market. They always carry the best quality fruits and vegestables and always treat you super nicely. Guys are energetic, fun, friendly and even entertaining. Their fruits are so good and ripe all the time, I can't help but only buy from them everytime I visit Public market. Pepper wreaths are just so beautiful by itself! So perfectly arranged and colorful. They are perfect for a gift! My mom loves it!! Very impressed with their great products with good price and their friendly service.

Yelp
Best fruit stand at the market! These guys are the absolute, illiest, friendliest fruit dealers out there.

Yelp
A quick and easy produce grab, with fresh quality produce. The young lady that help me was quite a character, pretty much brighten up my day while the rain came down.

Super fresh produce. Excellent customer service!

Yelp
Same story, I bought the peppers for decoration for my kitchen, I did everything the instructions said and the peppers became moldy and rotten, so disgusting so i had to throw them away, they were also falling, I was excited but I realized this was 20 bucks down the trash can.

Yelp
I love all of the produce vendors at Pike Place. Unfortunately, I had a horrible customer service experience here. I was standing just down from this produce stand waiting for my husband to get me food. I was guarding our two three month old daughters who were sleeping in our double stroller. A fruit sample cutter came up and rudely asked me to move because someone was stopped wanting to park where I was standing. I should point out that I was not near the traffic AND pedestrians have right of way in the market. I had already told the driver I would move soon as my husband returned (which was about 2 minutes later). Instead of asking the driver to go around the block, the worker told me to "not be like that" when I pointed out the impossibility of moving a double stroller over a curb. He then forced me to lift the stroller over the curb, blinding one of my twins with the sun and waking her up. Then he walked off without an apology or anything. Unfortunately, I could not get his name. He has a tattoo sleeve on his left arm. Please give your business to any other produce stand here who employs better humans.

Yelp
I bought a medium pepper/garlic/flower wreath when I was visiting Pike's Place in Seattle, which was an abnormally HOT day during a short heat wave. I asked about care of the wreath because I was concerned about the heat and I followed their directions TO THE LETTER in caring for the wreath -- take it out of the box within 3 days (I took it out in 1 day), hang it in indirect light, don't put it near any humidity (eg over sink, etc). I noticed mold on 3 of the peppers that had already infiltrated the inner part of the wreath 4 days after I bought it! I emailed them twice to find out that their inbox was full and could not accept anymore emails. So I called them and they took my number down and said they'd call me back. No return call. A week later, I call them AGAIN, and they say that I can't send a picture of the mold infested wreath, but that I have to send the wreath in and then they'd send me a new wreath, but I'd have to pay for that shipping BOTH ways! Shipping (for BOTH ways) costs MORE THAN THE WREATH ITSELF! (The wreath was $20). So, in reality, I would have to pay over twice the cost of the original wreath. I'll just bite the bullet now, thanks. If you want to waste $20-40 bucks, go for it, otherwise I say STAY THE HELL AWAY (unless you like mold of course.)

Yelp
I recently visited Seattle for the first time in August, 2008. I absolutely loved Pikes Market and while shopping stopped into Choice Produce & Pepper and purchased my hanging pepper/garlic decoration. It has just about completely fallen apart. I have never seen such shoddy workmanship in my life. For the last four years, I have been traveling full time throughout the United States to see and experience the flavor of each State. While in New Mexico, I purchased hanging red peppers in October 2007. These peppers are still hanging tough!!!! I purchased Choice Produce & Pepper's product 1 MONTH ago and it is falling apart. I have already lost all of the large green peppers, and all of the red ones look like they were put into a microwave. I know how the peppers should look when they dry out. There is something drastically wrong with their products, and the ability of the artist stringing the product together. I tried to send the company an email and it was returned to me because their mailbox is full. I don't think their mailbox is full of compliments!!!!! If you're in Seattle, Washington, save your time and money and keep on walking when you pass Choice Produce & Pepper....
