Chom Café & Restaurant (ชม) - Review - Siwari Village - Chiang Mai - The Infatuation

"There are lots of cafes and restaurants like this in Chiang Mai, but Chom Cafe has better food (and a bigger koi pond) than most. The outdoor space is huge and features a waterfall and greenery everywhere you look. It all makes for a lovely lunch with very solid khao soi that comes with broth you pour yourself, grilled pork neck salad, and a double-layered mango sticky rice with pandan and coconut short grain. photo credit: Carlo Mantuano video credit: Carlo Mantuano video credit: Carlo Mantuano Pause Unmute" - Carlo Mantuano

Landed in Chiangmai and first thing is to come over here for lunch. Food was preorder and therefore it was served quite fast. Service was good especially serving the food. We ordered drinks but they might have some issues on the draft beer which they manage to settle in awhile. The place was fascinating as you can traverse in small park before going into the restaurant. Overall, it is worth it especially you want something unique experience and the food was quite good too.

This was one of my favorite restaurants during a three-week trip through Thailand. And while the interior is clean and the staff is very attentive, and the food was nicely presented, what "wow" me was the interior garden as well as the delicious dishes, particularly the khao soi—which I'm a big fan of. Highly recommended, particularly for a late-day, romantic dinner.  (6 stars for the ambience).

Beautiful and delicious restaurant - a must! There are many items on the menu that we will definitely have to come back to try. We ordered mainly off their recommended dishes and everything was well made - tasty and aromatic. The smoothies were delicious and fresh as well. There is an outdoor sitting area that overlooks the waterfall garden. We sat inside and it looked out towards the fields and cows. Inside was spacious and clean, it made for a wonderful dining experience. The waitstaff was professional, proactive, and helpful.

stunning place—lush greenery, flowing waterfall, and so many picture-perfect corners. It really feels like stepping into a little tropical garden paradise. The outdoor area is especially beautiful, though it can be a bit less tidy compared to the indoor air-con seating. Still, the vibes more than make up for it! There are plenty of seats, and even though the café gets busy, it never feels cramped. Staff are friendly and attentive, which makes the experience even nicer. Food is decent—nothing mind-blowing, but tasty enough and goes well with the overall experience. Honestly, you come here more for the atmosphere and photos, and it truly delivers on that.

A great place to chill and have good food. Soothing background music. Enjoyed ourselves here. We couldn't resist and ordered enough even after having a late lunch. Even went for desert...

We had dinner at this place the other night. The food was good and service was also good. The quantity of food was adequate. They had live music at this place, not sure if the live music is on only during weekends or on all days. Noise level was loud, maybe because we were sitting next to a big group of people. The parking lots were huge and should not be an issue in parking even if the restaurant is packed.

Since we visited during a public holiday, we had to wait approximately 20 minutes to be seated. Despite the crowd, the service was commendable, with the staff attending to us promptly. While placing our order, we explored the surroundings and took some photos, which made the waiting time feel shorter. The food and beverages were enjoyable, particularly the Tom Yum Goong and the sweet purple drink. The atmosphere was slightly noisy, which is to be expected on a holiday.
