"Sunset Park is as close to hot pot heaven as you can find in NYC. And Chong Qing Wharf, with its blue neon lighting and two-hour, $49 per person AYCE deal, is one of our favorites. This place gets absolutely packed—so make sure to join the virtual wait list, and if you want to make the most of your time, look at the menu and know your first round order before you sit down. Snow crab legs, whole lobsters, and a giant plate of paper-thin lamb are a great way to start." - will hartman, willa moore, neha talreja, bryan kim

There’s blue neon lighting everywhere, it’s someone’s birthday every fifteen minutes, and you’re expected to know what you want to order the moment you sit down. For $49 per person, you get unlimited food for two hours, and that includes things like snow crab legs and whole lobster. While you can’t make reservations, you can join a virtual wait list. Join the list at least two hours before you want to actually sit down and eat, and plan to pregame somewhere nearby. " - neha talreja, hannah albertine

Chong Qing Wharf stands out for its attentive and friendly service—the staff were quick to help and made us feel welcome from the start. The meats were impressively fresh and well-prepared, and the variety offered something for everyone. What really won me over, though, was the soup base: rich, aromatic, and deeply satisfying without being overpowering. You can tell a lot of care goes into the ingredients and the overall experience. I’d absolutely come back and recommend it to anyone looking for quality hot pot in a comfortable setting.

I had an amazing dining experience at this seafood hotpot buffet in Brooklyn! The ingredients were super fresh, especially the seafood — the crab, shrimp, and clams were top quality. The variety of sauces and broths made it easy to customize the flavors just the way I like. The staff was friendly and attentive, and the place was clean and well-organized. Great value for the price, too. Highly recommend it if you're a hotpot or seafood lover!

Great quality seafood and meats for AYCE!!! Friendly service and lots of drink options. They have a lot more variety than any other AYCE I've ever had. They even serve durian which is usually very pricey. 10/10, we will definitely come back again!! There is a 2 hour limit but they're not strict if it's not super busy.

What an absolutely amazing hot pot. Here is the nitty gritty. 1. Yes it’s expensive. At $62.99 it’s pricey 2. Yes it’s worth it if you eat a decent amount of the super fresh sashimi and order lots of crab legs, fresh beef which is some of the best quality I’ve had and drink the really rich soup broth 3. Yes there is a very long wait as they’ve gained some popularity. but it’s worth the wait 4. Yes you can order fresh (frozen) durian as much as you want The food was the star of the show. Lobster is one of the main specialties. You can order it once but you have a choice of 1. Sashimi or sushi platter (skip this you can order that with your regular buffet as part of the ayce) 2. Geoduck which honestly I don’t find to be all that amazing but hey. Who am I to judge. 3. A few other specialty dishes but I can’t recall them. 4. We went with the whole live lobsters. Food was insanely fresh. The beef is some of the best hotpot beef I’ve had. The broths were amazing. All meats and seafoods were of exceptional quality. All in all if you’re looking to splurge at a hotpot this is the place.

We were in western Brooklyn to do some auto sport modifications and needed to pick up our car at 5pm, no chance of getting back into Long Island on the Belt Parkway at the Pinnacle of NYC's rush hour so we decided to wait it out and eat locally at a premium AYCE hot-poteria. The selections were very good and included one premium choice of lobster or geoduck. We had the geoduck sashimi, tiny, but fresh. The selections weren't exorbitant, but covered, seafood, meats, vegetables, boba tea (free, if you pay cash) and canned premium soft drinks. Our server was "Ada", ABC, BBC, extremely proficient, professional and courteous. She was the star of our evening here. The table wasn't ideal as we couldn't score a booth and the vents at our aisle table were pulling the steam directly into our faces. Still the food and drinks were good enough to overcome the constant steam blasts. $160 for 2 of us, all-in, cash. Yummy in Brooklyn.
