Choong Man Chicken Davie - Korean Fried Chicken

This was our first time trying this fried chicken Korean place, we were super excited to finally try it since we heard good things about it. Restaurant is very cozy, parking is available, this location is right next to griffin road. We got the chicken tenders with the sauces on the side, we got the soy garlic and hot honey sauce, both sauces had a spicy kick, they were hot and good. I’m not a huge spicy person but both were flavorful. The waffle fries were good too. I like how the tenders weren’t greasy and were crispy and freshly fried just how how we like them. We would definitely come back!

First time in Choong Man! Service was good and quick. The dining area is clean and music was definitely a vibe. After ordering food, they send over a robot to deliver food and drinks which was really cool! I got the Peach Black Tea Lemonade which was really refreshing. 1 pound of tenders and waffle fries can freed probably three people but it did great for two of us! :) you can get the sauce on the side or on top of your tenders. Plus tenders were super crispy.

Looks like they have a new, more concise menu with no prices printed on it. While you sit down at a table to be served by a server and/or robot, you have to go up to the iPads to place your order. They prices are pricey and while the flavor was still good, the chicken was not nearly as crispy and hot as the last time we came.

With three big screen tvs pumping out K-pop or euro chill music, this place was busy when we went (always a good sign). Ample parking around since it’s located in an office plaza. In addition to the chicken, you can order specific dipping sauces. Try the lemon spring onion tenders: juicy, spicy, the ginger packs a punch!! We will come back to try out the other selections.

This place was really good! One of the best korean restaurants in south florida in my opinion! The food was amazing and the place was adorable! I got 5 wings and a special drink for $20, which is a little pricy but it was delicious! I will say their Strawberry milk drink was very sweet, which i was not really a fan of.

We have found them on Google Maps and decided to go try them out. The atmosphere was very nice. The people were friendly. The service was excellent. The fried chicken was crispy, juicy, and delicious. We loved the curly fries. The overall experience was awesome! We will definitely go back again. We will definitely recommending others. I finally was able to try this place out and as expected it delivered. The original Snow Wings were awesome I had a side of Garlic Spicy which was also very good (if you don’t eat spicy I don’t recommend the sauce). The passion fruit lemonade was very good it’s not like those places that have a very sweet juice flavor it had that bittersweet flavor as it should. Caroline and the staff greeted us as soon as we arrived. The atmosphere, the service and food has been exquisite. Definitely enjoyed this place, I recommend it to those that love chicken (spicy). Looking forward to coming back to try some more items on the menu.

I've been around the whole broward, and let me tell you that this is my first time on this place and definitely won't be the last. The place is clean with a bright welcoming aura. They have a kiosk to place your order, but the employees are so engaged that they even help you navigate it. When we are on the table, they check on us like 10 times to make sure we have what we need. They have a robot delivering food to the tables, which is so cool and futuristic, but even having that it didn't stop them from taking care of the customers. It is very rare to have this kind of service, and the food is amazing. Garlic soy is delicious together with the Honey Garlic we finished it in one sitting then i bought a chicken gizzard to go that too is amazing Don't get me started with the Crispy chicken skin that i forgot the name because it's so damn good. 😋 We will definitely come back soon with the whole gang. Lets get into it. This place is unapologetic about its values, especially its signature claim to be the best korean chicken you have ever had. I tried the snow onion chicken, the parmesan truffle fries and the lychee lemonade. The lemonade was refreshing, tangy, sweet, and fruity, highly recommend you pair it with the drumsticks. The fries were crisp and fluffy! They dont hold back on the seasoning like other places so that was appreciated. Now let's get to the chicken. Great googly moogly, the chicken. They offer breaded and nonbreaded wings, tenders, whole chicken, drumsticks, I am definitely coming back to try them all. And i havent even had a chance to review the PLETHORA of flavors accessible. I had the Drumsticks, Snow Onion flavor, you can the onions and sauce on top or on the side, i recommend on top for the experience. The prove you with napkins, gloves, an extra serving plate, moist towelletes, it can get messy! Between the hot, cripsy chicken and the delicious, cool sauce, and the onions adding even more crunch, it is truly a unique dining experience. I am scared to try anything else because the snow onion chicken was that great! Once you walk in you order at a kiosk, very user friendly, at first the price point seemed obtuse but it was worth EVERY PENNY. You take a number, have a seat, and a robot beings your food to you! Even with how streamlined the service is, the workers were very attentive and proactive in regards to meeting my needs before i even got the chance to ask. Water, extra plate and napkins, by lemonade, all brought in a timely and friendly manner and even thought my experience was only about 40 minutes, it was far from rushed. The atmosphere was very relaxed, the music was good, tables and floor were clean. The was leftover food in the corners of the booth seats but it wasn't anything to be upset over and overall, I really didnt care about anything but the food while I was eating. It's clear they care about your comfort while you enjoy the food, definitely coming back! SHOUTOUT TO LEIDY!! So sweet and accommodating. Yall need to try this place out.

the staff here were so nice! the lady kept calling me sweetie which made me feel special. she was very kind when i asked for more radish and the person at the cash register was also very nice. he let me try a sample of the cucumber kimchi because i asked how spicy it was. i got the soy garlic wings which were pretty good. i think it could've been made a bit crispier though. if you have a low spice tolerance like me, the soy garlic was still pretty spicy so i was drinking tons of water during this meal.

All I can say is wowww!! Best breaded wings I've tried . These are the juiciest and full of such a robust flavor . When you walk in you order on screen and there are employees available to answer any questions you may have . They do have an allergy list on the wall to make it easier to navigate in new territory . The Garlic Soy and Garlic Spicy Chickens wings are delicious ! I would recommend ordering the fries and cucumber kimchi. A robot brings you all your food , along with chopsticks , and gloves so you can enjoy your food mess free. Do yourself a favor and check this place out !

To me, the chicken is very underwhelming. I don't care to come back. I order the honey garlic chicken wings? It didn't have a fresh crunchy taste I was looking for. Tasted low quality. The fries were ok, nothing to brag about. The passion fruit lemonade didn't make me jump either. However, business was BOOMING! So, I would still suggest because there's a reason why so many love it ? Just truly not for me or my taste buds. Inside looks a little run down/old for being a new establishment. Lastly, there was a lovely lady at the front, I wish I knew her name. She's very knowledgeable about the menu, she's very kind and very patient. If you're hesitant or curious about any of the items listed, she's your girl!

Oh man, where do I start Chung man chicken is probably the best chicken and Davie Florida. I'm not gonna hold you not gonna lie to you. The Korean chicken is fire. The chicken wings is fire. The fries are good man. This place is just amazing. Also, the service there is amazing is self serve but they have this machine that comes through and bring you all your food and your items and everything else on there. It's it's crazy inside. It's a nice nice small inside place but the ambience the vibe is different. It takes you to Korea And it gives you like a different type of vibe that you can't find nowhere else. I always want Korean fried chicken, this place will deliver you the goods. But the ROBOT WAITER is what really brought me in to try the place!! I came another time and was happy to catch their Monday-Friday lunch special. Lychee lemonade was refreshing and the pickled daikon was perfect. It's a cute spot at the end of a busy plaza, so lots of parking, and great chill spot.

Great chicken spot! You can order at the kiosk or through the QR code on the table. They have a robot server that delivers your food to your table. I started with 5 garlic soy tenders and expected them to be bigger - still delicious though! I ordered a batch of CM fried chicken wings with curry sauce. These were also delicious and crispy. The mango lemonade was not overly sweet and was refreshing. They have large screen TVs where they are playing music videos of popular K-pop artists.

Great service like always but they toned down the spice on the Red Hot. Also could've gave more sauce on the Hot Honey tenders and the Spicy Garlic. Food is always delicious though.

Fast, friendly and service with a smile. Adonys is a delight! Can't wait to get home and devour this chicken!! There is a sit down area and tables outside if you're keen. Don't leave without trying some of the Korean beers they have.

Tonight's birthday dinner gathering for my friend was a wonderful time for all 13 of us. The table set in the center of the restaurant was the perfect fit. We shared 6 plates of chicken along with rice for everyone. We ordered fries and radish too. It was all delicious! The service was excellent, the food was delicious, and the casual, comfortable ambiance made the evening even better.

So my friend and I went for lunch today, the place was clean and tables constantly being clean when customers left. She was busy and she took our order and explained lunch specials so I ordered wings with curry, spiced up just right and friend ordered with garlic, also good, but our server was the best I posted a picture, it was a robot, kinda cool having it delivered right the the table.

A friend recommended this place for their amazing chicken, so I had to check it out. When you first walk in, there are a few kiosks on the right where you place your order. Once that's done, you can sit anywhere there's an opening. When your food is ready, a robot delivers it to your table, which I thought was super cute. The chicken here is incredibly crispy, juicy, and packed with flavor. However, you don't interact much with the staff unless you need something specific, as most of the process is automated.

My favorite fried chicken place! I have tried most of their flavors but the spicy soy garlic bc I'm scared that it'll be too spicy for me. I love their fries!! They're like the right amount of crispy and they're so addicting! Tip is to get their lunch specials during the weekdays before like 2 pm? You get like 3 pieces of chicken tenders with fries for like $13 or something like that. My favorite flavor depends on how spicy I want my chicken. I usually get the normal soy garlic or the honey one. Sometimes I'll get the curry but not too often. The curry flavor is interesting because the curry has a sweet taste to it instead of the usual like saltiness. We had their strawberry mochi and it was pretty good but too small for the price so not worth it. We also had one of their drinks, the dalgona drink but we didn't really like it that much.

I really love the food here. The chicken is always juicy, the fries and other sides are tasty and flavors are wonderful. Most of their entrees is some combination of garlic and onion and that comes as wings, tenders, or sandwiches They service you with water and utensils just to start but the place is a fast casual experience so don't expect service. They are a Korean chain restaurant so expect lots of KPop to be blasting from their TVs and plastered over their walls so as a KPop fan it was nice and made my meal more fun. But If you're not it shouldn't be a bother most goers there are of many ethnicities regardless. Must have if you've never been!

Food was awesome! I should have gotten more! The service was great. The server helped me to choose the right meal for me. Also they have a robot that serves food. The place was great and having K pop brought the place together

I liked the wings, unlike other Koran chicken places, they have the best part of the chicken.....DRUMSTICKS. The only complaint is the chicken and the available sauces are heavy on the spices. Not every person can tolerate spicy food. This is the only Korean restaurant that I know of that does not offer sauce that doesn't contain spice. That will limit my visits. ( I might have to bring my own). On the bright side the radish side is really delicious. The ambiance is lacking for sure but the robot and the drumsticks are worth it.

We ordered a half chicken and 10 wings. Good: excellent flavor, actually a bit spicy without any sauce Bad: when you think KFC , you think crunchy. Unfortunately because of the packaging the chicken gets soggy. If there is a next time I will dine in or just pass all together.

This was the bomb! Delicious !!!the one thing to eat before you die!!! Yummy. I love fried chicken. Have eaten it all over America and I'm not kidding. If the colonel was alive he would hang up his apron knowing this place is so good. Krispy Krispy Krispy.

On the recommendation of a friend, we headed to try out the popular fried chicken , who knew chicken at this place had so many versions of fried chicken. For starters I went back & forth with the spicy chicken & honey garlic chicken. I chose the spicy & sweet 1/2 chicken, parmesan fries. My friend picked the honey soy chicken. You place your order on screen & take your table number. Soon a robot rolls to your table with your order. My spicy chicken is crunchy & has lots of flavor shortly after you feel some heat but it is yummy hot. The fries are ok maybe needed some salt, for nearly 10 bucks I expected wow, in-any case you do get decent portions. We both took leftovers. My friend shared a Korean beer which was good too , for nearly 10 bucks! However, It is a larger than usual bottle so theres that:) Overall I enjoyed the food & am curious to try another fried chicken version soon.

This place is a great spot a little bit pricey but the water is amazing and is filtered, we ordered chicken tenders and some wings they came out pretty fast and were some of the best tenders I've ever had and also the wings were just great. the service was also phenomenal. the place inside was very upbeat with the Kpop music playing. Definitely recommend.

Another amazing meal at choong man! Their electric robot server is currently down but they have a very attentive staff who come by and check on what you need frequently. You can't go wrong with anything on this menu The spice level does get pretty high here so be wary when choosing your flavor! My criteria: 5: absolutely love, will come back, can't wait to try more things and bring people here 4: pretty good, some quality issues, would return again 3: simple stuff, nothing crazy here, location could not be clean or employees not friendly 2: I may give this place a chance to improve at least one more time 1: will not be returning here

Pretty damn delicious fried chicken. One of the best place I have had in South Florida, especially if you end up getting one spicier flavors. One of the members of staff is a robot that delivers your food, haha, pretty cool if you haven't seen that before. If you are looking for some friend chicken this is most definitely the place to go.

Food taste delicious at first my husband and I thought that we were going to be disappointed it but we got a huge surprise with a great flavor texture and Unic, attention was perfect and they have a robot that bring you the food lol

This place is a must if you love chicken! Everything is customizable: you choose the type of chicken you want, the sauce, and any toppings (cheese, onion, etc.) so there's really something for everyone. The menu is also very clear and easy to read in terms of options and spice levels, to make sure you're getting exactly what you want. You order on a tablet and your food is brought out on a robot, which is so fun, and there are a ton of fun drink options. We got the garlic soy tenders and mango soda with curly fries. The chicken was very flavorful and tender. You could really taste the garlic and soy, and it was just the right amount of sauce. We went around 3pm which I feel like is an off time, and it was still super crowded so just a heads up.

Last time I came here i was blown away but this most recent time I wasnt as impressed. It was good but certainly not the amazing experience I remember. First off: the speed of the food coming out was terrible... i was one of 3 people in the restaurant and it took 30 minutes from when i ordered to receive my food. Second: the onion rings were fine, but i want to say they were like $7.99 , which for maybe 8 frozen fried onion rings is INSANE. Third: i feel like the first time I went the Honey Mustard was home made, or atleast it wasnt just peppermill packets. Overall the first time I came i thought it was amazing, this time it was good but not worth my 30 minute drive

Very disappointed today. Wanted to try the wings but when i came in to order i was directed to the electronic ordering system. It asked for my number but it was not recognized. The system advised that i see a server. I did this and was told they were having problems with the service. Maybe they should put a not on the screen when this happens. So i grab a menu at the counter and i see there are no prices on the menu. When i inquired about prices, the same girl told me they could be found on the electronic system.......... No lies. Seriously! I will not be returning.

Small cute spot for crispy Korean fried chicken. To a star away because everything even the plain chicken is spicy so my daughter didn't really eat. But she loved the robot that delivered our food and I liked being able to sit and just order and pay from our phones. There is still a person there if you have questions and a kiosk for those who don't want to order on their phones.

I've wanted to go check them out since they opened but never found myself in the area. Was picking up my nephews and decided.. its about time we checked it out. Easy to find located off griffin on university. Everything is contactless, so we had a seat, scanned the qr code looked over the menu and put in the order. Serving sizes are large so we got tenders, drumsticks, waffles fries and it was more than enough for us all. The resto features a robot waiter that brings out your food and my nephews got a kick out of that. Now on to the food; tasted awesome.. Korean fried so it was extra crispy, flavorful, with light heat. Everyone loved it. I'm definitely bringing friends here in the future.

This Korean fried chicken spot is worth the drive from Miami. Food is delivered via robot, which is a fun addition. Curly fries are nice and crispy and full of flavor. Every type of chicken I've tried so far has been delicious though spicy at times depending on what you order.

I haven't been here in so long that I decided to come back for lunch with my dad. It look a little different from the last time I came in. You can now order at the multiple kiosk, the counter or from the barcode at the table. We came in for lunch and there wasn't a lot of people sitting eating but the pick ups where in and out. We ordered 2 fried chicken combos which brings 3 legs with fries. ($12.99) the chicken was steaming hot and crispy. Not only the batter but the actual chicken had flavor and had a faint hint of spicy. The fries were also fresh and crispy. I also order the garlic soy gizzards $14.99 . They were a bit spicy and it was a big order which was perfect to share and take some home. To drink we had a lychee lemonade and a passion fruit lemonade. There were both absolutely delicious. $3.99 Overall I enjoyed this cute little spot and the service was pretty good as well.

After I went to this franchise in Atlanta, I found out we've had one in Davie for a while. It's the same flavor of the one in Atl ! If you like sweet and spicy, the wings are in point. The soy miso chicken is just as good. Crispy , crispy crispy. If you don't like any spicy food ask for the non spicy. Definitely coming back.

Really great Korean fried chicken. I've been here multiple times and usually get the spicy garlic. It's a great price for a whole chicken and I recommend the radish on the side.

Chicken Tenders are amazing and staff is very friendly. Garlic soy tikkudak is on another level. Definitely coming back for more.

I've been wanting to try this place for so long and I finally had the chance! There are no many places with Korean Fried Chicken so I was hoping this would be the spot for me. You cannot expect much for service because it's more of a self service restaurant. You order on a kiosk and seat yourself and wait for your food to arrive. The restaurant is pretty small so you'll need to get there at an off time to get a table. We shared Original, Garlic Soy, and Garlic Spicy. They were all delicious! The original was very crunchy, especially compared to the others because no sauce. I think next time I will get original and the sauce on the side to dip just because the crunch texture was amazing. The garlic soy and garlic spicy were both great. The garlic spicy was a nice combination of sweet and spicy. I enjoy spicy so I need to try the red hot pepper next time. All the chicken was very juicy also. A fun experience is using gloves when eating these so there's no mess involved!

4.5 stars! One of the best fried chicken spot in broward -- and you can @ me! I am sooo happy I finally have this place a shot -- there's been nothing but good reviews for a reason. Healthy , seasoned fried chicken!! And it's just please some gizzards (which after trying the chicken I'm excited to try) We went with the safe options and got the so garlic sauce fried wings -- the sauce was great and a tab bit spicy so could imagine how their spicy sauces are. We also got the dirty fries which was friend nicely and seasoned Tried they sac sac drink for the first time and it was yummy grape juice and I wish the can was bigger lol I will be back !

First time here. The chicken is absolutely outstanding. Perfectly cooked and seasoned. The dipping sauces are very tasty. The service we receive was outstanding and this is supposed to be almost a self order place. The man who helped us went above and beyond. I live in Fort Lauderdale and will be coming here at least once a week Exceptional place!! Try it.

My only grievance is that the service was too fast lol. Let me explain ... i ordered online to be ready at 6:15 because that was the time i could make it. I received a text before 6 that it was ready. I ended up eating in the car because it was already getting cold. Hence the 4 stars. The chicken was amazing snd the garlic sauce was so delicious. The lady was nice as well.

This place is always amazing! The garlic soy and snow onion wings are always my go to. If you get fries definitely order the cheese sauce I promise you that you've never had anything like it. The staff is always friendly and attentive. It's a small location and does get busy so you may have to wait a bit on weekends.

If you like great chicken and amazing flavors, Choong Man Chicken is the place to be! I've been here a couple times now and the food has always been consistent which is very good because if there's anything that frustrates me is going to a restaurant one day having great food then coming back again to be served bad food. There are kiosks to easily order food, everything is user friendly so it was easy to order. Service wise they have those robots delivering to your table which was convenient. It doesn't take long either to get the food. We went for dinner so it was fairly busy so it might be a little difficult to find a table and eat there. I recommend eating there so that the chicken is still crispy and warm instead of being soggy if youre taking it home.

Fried Chicken Masters. My favorite KFC place to date or should I say Fried Chicken place in general. All cashless robots included. You order from a kiosk grab a number and find a seat your food will be rolled out to you shortly, remember to grab gloves and chopsticks from the robot for eating. They have tons of fried chicken options and all types of fries that you want. My ultimate fav items are Snow Onion Wings and Spring Soy Garlic Wings with regular fries washed down with Somaek (A bottle of Terra and a soju). I recently got the fried gizzards soy garlic and they are soooooo good! I love their chicken it's not greasy or heavy but tbh you can't eat too much it's super filling as any fried food place would be. I crave it, I go often and I'll definitely be back.

Cool concept but it was a little confusing at first! Wasn't sure if we were supposed to start at the front or sit down so I wish there was more guidance from the staff but you order everything online from your phone & then the robot brings out the food to the table. Service was pretty quick from the robot & the portions are huge so I definitely recommend sharing. The chicken was crispy & the garlic spicy flavor was good.

Food is cooked really well I had the snow chicken the chicken was great the sauce was over hyped in my opinion it's super sweet I don't like sweet foods. the lychee lemonade was amazing as well

Must be eaten fresh! The wing sizes are very big and it's so crispy when eating it fresh. You can order at the front or there are 2 easy to use self service kiosk. I didn't know what to order so I found the kiosk very helpful. I ended up ordering wings, tenders and gizzards with a mix of flavors and toppings. I enjoyed everything and the pickled radish is a must to cleanse your pallet and it's addicting to snack on. Very bright and welcoming inside. Can seat roughly 20 people inside but there are large benches outside that can prob fit an additional 30. Parking lot is big no problem finding a spot.

Every time I go, the food is amazing! The service is always nice and the quality of food has been consistent
