Spend the same amount of money here, and you’ll leave feeling much more satisfied about your choice for your next meal done right. This is some of the best food I’ve had since I went to a Michelin Star restaurant. The food is incredibly rich with layers of flavor, supreme texture, and creative combinations that keep you interested and hard to choose between many items. The apps, main items, desserts, all of them are great in their own way. The drinks are also creative with both familiar and interesting options to choose from in both N/A and alcoholic beverages. The interior has a modern feel that’s both comfortable and endearing. You can choose to sit closer to the kitchen where they prep the food, and the environment is like watching a well maintained and oiled machine run without any issues. Or you can sit further inside a back area with access to a patio. The service is superb with plenty of care and character from each staff member. The food came out timely and at the correct temperature. Plated invitingly without making you feel stressed about keeping falling food from going onto the table or your lap. My favorite item is the chicken pastrami. A sandwich full of flavor and texture but doesn’t fall apart on you. I will keep coming here frequently so I don’t miss out on anything new. If you want to go to a place for a good date, small group event, or a unique take-out place, this is your jam. It is unique but inviting to anyone who likes good food with an incredible value

Loved the food! I was surprised at the casual atmosphere, especially with the food that was anything but casual. Upscale food at a non-upscale place. It was great! We sat ourselves and ordered on our phones with QR codes and the food came right to our table. You can also go up and order at the counter. The fried chicken and the fried cheesecake were my favorites! 10/10 would recommend!

First time there today to meet my uncles for lunch. Man the food was very delicious. Cool little spot on the corner of east Colfax. Only negative thing would be parking as it is next to a residential area. Parking can be challenging depending on the the time and day. But once you get in, the food and atmosphere make up for it. I had the bacon wrapped meatloaf and next to mine it was the most delicious dish I had. My uncle had the short ribs and that was pull-a-part perfection. My other uncle had the chicken and as you can see looked as delicious as it was served. Thank you guys for your passion and amazing food. Keep up the great work you out did yourself!!!! If you are looking you definitely need to visit this place and simple the yummy goodness that they are dishing out!! Definitely returning to try all items on this menu!!!!!

Intimate low key place. Not over the top which is refreshing to see. The man who took my order was very friendly and patient with me. The food came out very quickly and was wonderfully crafted. I highly recommend this place for a casual date. Thank you!

5 star restaurant food for incredible prices in a casual atmosphere. I has the short rib. The meat was extremely tender, well seasoned and delicious. Fluffy light mashed potatoes, delicious pan sauce. A real game changer for amazing food quickly and affordably.

We had the pork Carnita rice noodle, grilled achiote salmon filet and the crispy Brussel sprouts. All was amazing!! Everything was so tasty!! One of the best meals I’ve had in Denver

Rad little spot on the corner of East Colfax — is a fast casual spot with chef driven cuisine! Offerings are affordable, bountiful, and delicious. Entrees range from a 48 Hour Braised Short Rib to Pork Carnitas Rice Bowl as well as a handful of salads, soups, and sandwiches. Definitely a spot we will return to again and again! Absolutely delicious. Food came out really fast. Very friendly staff. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience. ProTip — don’t sleep on the desserts!! In Denver for work for the past 6 months. The worst thing about being on the road is all the restaurant food gets boring. I was so happy to find the Chop Shop!! I have tried just about everything on the menu and never once was I disappointed. They have a great range of choices and every dish is presented very well and super savoury, the ultimate comfort food. As you enter the restaurant you're always greeted with a friendly face and how are you doing. The Lowry location has a great atmosphere with seating inside or out, choose sun or shade. Parking is free and ample. Thanks for all the great suppers !!

As soon as I walked through the door, I was cheerfully greeted by the staff. We ordered the ribs and the chicken pastrami sandwich. Both were absolutely delicious. The seating are is updated and very clean. The atmosphere overall was very welcoming and we plan to add this to our regular rotation of restaurants Almost forgot! The drinks are really good too! We got a mule and the berry lemon froze thing and they weee delicious. I'm not often one who enjoys frozen drinks and I had 2!

I had lunch with some friends and was impressed with the menu variety at Chop Shop. They even had a great looking kids menu. They offer beer and wine and natural sodas. All three of us really liked our entrées but the French fries were crave worthy. There weren't a lot of people working but the few that I saw were working hard. The kitchen had to be swamped because there were a lot of customers but our wait was minimal. The only reason I didn't give them 5 stars was because the area around our table wasn't clean. The ledge under the window was dusty and grimy (see photo), and there was one big fly buzzing around. They do have a great patio area for warmer weather. Those fries were enough to bring me back so I'm looking forward to trying more of their menu.

Came in for lunch after reading the reviews. I was immediately greeted by the front person with a hello and a smile. I ordered the short ribs and boy howdy, were they worth the $23. They came on a nice pile of well seasoned mashed potatoes and a side of sautéed mixed veggies. All of the food was well prepared and seasoned. One of the draws for me also was the soda machine is Came Sugar drinks which I love. I enjoyed my meal on the patio with very comfortable seating and a table just at the right height. I sat there and read a book enjoying the meal.

We went in for a quick dinner the other night and it was an amazing experience. First off, the customer service and friendly encounter really made a big impression on us! I don't know the gentleman's name that helped us but he was so warm and inviting. I went with his suggestion, veggie fried rice with tofu. I've never had fried tofu this good!! It wasn't greasy of heavily battered. They were crispy little pillows of deliciousness! My partner had the French dip, and that was equally delicious. The au jus was something to write home about! They have a casual setting and elevated flavors. Can't wait to try the chicken pastrami sandwich!

Stumbled in here because the brunch spot nearby was packed and I'm glad we did! I got the burger and Mac n cheese both were super tasty. My boyfriend got the short rib and my only regret was not getting it also it was so good!! The server Zay was really kind and helpful. The restaurant was clean and cozy and not packed wall to wall so we had space with our infant as well. Will definitely be back.

I'm really impressed with this place. They got the fast casual down and still retained that fine dining experience. After ten years and three locations this local business with CO-born Chef Clint and his business partner Chris is killing it! Their menu is small and is uncomplicated. You won't be embarrassed to take a date here. They plate their dishes beautifully. Their food is amazing. They serve wine, beers and natural sodas. Everything was really good. What stood out for me was the Grilled Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf and their Chicken Pastrami sandwich. The Pastrami had that perfect heat to it all throughout as you eat it. Nothing serious but it's there. But whatever you order from what we tried , or from their menu is really good. You have to try try everything that we tried: 48 hour Slow Cooked Short Rib, Grilled Bacon Wrapped Meatloaf, Mediterranean grilled chicken, Chicken pastrami Sandwich, and their Beef Stroganoff (special of the day) , salads Super Chop. Rocket Chop and South Chop. Everything we had was so delicious and was served and plated beautifully & priced right. Oh, and you won't be embarrassed to take your date here. Aside from the excellent food, the inside is tastefully decorated. With a covered patio for winter and one that's alfresco for summer! Drinks: Frozen passion fruit & lemon berry

The food has some of the best consistency ever it taste amazing props to them. The service was great everyone was very nice and helpful.Thr ambiance was exceptional it was calm.Also the dessert had us wanting three more plates of it.

They literally have the best fried tofu. My go to dish is the Crispy fried organic tofu with Teriyaki Glaze, Sautéed Mixed Vegetables, Steamed Jasmine Rice. It's so tasty and hearty. Veggies are sautéed and have a nice smoke/char flavor but not overcooked. Tofu is fried and has perfect amount of breading with nice seasoning for a mild flavor so they don't taste bland at all! Teriyaki sauce brings everything together and they add an amount that doesn't make it super sweet or over power the rest of the dish. I order this all the time because it's affordable and complete meal hitting all three macronutrient groups. Their food is always yummy so shout out to the chef's

Yummy!!!! Their salads are fantastic, fresh and they have so many options on how to customize one to your liking. I can't wait to try the rest of their menu.

I have been seeing this place each time I give my dogs a bath at the place across the street, but because I have the dogs with me, I'm never able to eat there. However, I couldn't resist ordering food to go, after working up an appetite from bathing two very active dogs. The grilled bacon wrapped meatloaf is 5 stars. Seriously, the meatloaf is a one of a kind dish. Each bite was wrapped in bacon and then I think the whole piece is slathered in mango bbq sauce. The whipped potatoes are a wonderful compliment to the meatloaf. The whole meal was perfect from beginning to end and I can't wait to go back for more!!

We haven't been back for awhile until today to see if the food had improved at all. This place was great. It had it all. Amazing food. Couldn't pick a bad meal. Covid - it went downhill. We are well past Covid. Thought we would give it a try. We were very disappointed, unfortunately. Prices have gone up food has gone down. Friendly people great service. And the ambiance is similar. No frills, which is expected. We miss the delicious food. Im sorry to leave a bad review, but we have been disappointed for the last time.

We've been regular customers since they opened their Lowry location. We recently moved out of state and we're just talking about their food. We've ordered countless meals to go and done dine-in too and highly recommend. Their food is fresh and delicious and even a hit with our kids. Service is fast and friendly and always lively when dining in as well as busy take out business. Recommend.

This place has fresh salads and the grilled chicken was very moist and flavorful. My friends chicken sandwich was delicious. I loved the black cherry soda as well. Would suggest this to anyone looking for a quick bite for a decent price.

This was my second time trying Chop Shop but my first time at this location. Similar to my first experience, I was underwhelmed. First of all, the environment of this location is pretty strange and rather unwelcoming in the layout of the furniture. The people were nice though. As for the food, their menu is just too narrow and particular. I ended up getting the broccoli mac and cheese and my boyfriend got the basic cheeseburger. They were both fine, but nothing out of this world, and not something I would necessarily go back for. They also presented mine on a normal glass plate and my boyfriends in a to go box/bag which was incredibly strange to us. My complaint the last time I went was the prices for the quality, I will say the bacon and broccoli mac and cheese was very well priced and portioned, but I am unsure about the value of some of their other menu items.

I've been here three times now and the food and service has been excellent each time. The only fault is the food is a little pricey. BUT in today's market, it is rare to find a trifecta. (Food, service, and quality product). I'm willing to pay more for that.

Poor, poor service. I will not be eating at this restaurant again due to the poor service I received from the person at the front counter. Since Covid I have placed orders for pick up at 100s of restaurants around town and had no problems. You give you name, get your items and go on your way. Despite showing him a picture order ticket where he could have easily have matched the items or name to the order. He looked at it for five seconds and said it told him nothing. He lied and said that they had pick up orders stolen all the time. Yeah right. People just happen to be coming in with the right names for the orders at exactly the right time and stealing the orders!? Yeah, I don't think so. Than he demanded a confirmation number. The delivery app I was using does not provide a confirmation number on their pick up tickets. The fact that he doesn't know this shows that he doesn't normally look at it and for some reason decided to give me grief over my order. I have never had such a problem either something that should have been so simple.

Used to love going to the Chop Shop on Colfax so thought I would give this a try as it had been a few years. I was very let down considering the price point. The chicken had very bad flavor that made it borderline inedible, I would not reccomend any dish with chicken (especially the chicken finger basket and the Mediterranean chicken). The fries were also soggy. Left still hungry as our meals were not good enough to finish. Maybe stick to the burger as I remember it being good.

The fried chicken is delicious esp in the asian salad. The Lowry location leaves a lot to be desired. The Colfax location is excellent.

Incredible food! I LOVED their fried chicken. It comes with the most amazing slightly spicy glazed honey sauce and a creamy polenta with kale and bacon. Truly delicious - so glad this is in the neighborhood!

Food excellent, prices midrange. weather permitting lotsa room on covered patio and outdoor (umbrella) seating. The brussell sprouts are to die for! We get take-out regularly and always proper temp. also try their natural sodas (small batch, 'hand made,' natural sugar) is excellent.

Had a late lunch today, quick service and enjoyed the Bacon Blue Chopped Salad. Truly amazing. The dressing was over the top and perfect for a hot summer afternoon.

This is my new favorite restaurant in the neighborhood I love checking out all these restaurants here at Lowry. Stopped in for lunch today and had a French dip totally recommend it but I should've gotten the fries instead of the salad the fries are beyond amazing

This place definitely wasn't what I was expecting. When you walk in you order your food like fast food style, but the food is the furthest thing from fast food. My husband and I both had the Chop Shop burger with fries. When it came up a little over $30 I was ready to judge these burgers harshly. Let me tell you the burgers and fries were worth every penny!!! One of the juiciest burgers I have had in a while. The fries were hand cut and fried to perfection! Little crispy with fluff inside. My husband and I both stuffed ourselves trying to finish everything. Highly recommend this place!!

After checking out Chop Shop's flagship location off Colfax I was hooked. So naturally when I found out there was one in Lowry I made my way there in a hurry! C = Casual! Great spot for a quick lunch break. H = Healthy guilt-free choices! O = Oodles of menu options! There's bound to be something for everyone! Personally, I've ordered the french dip on several visits and it's def a favorite! P = Prices are decent for the quality and amount of food you get! S = Super friendly staff! H = Happy Hour! Offered daily from 3 pm to 6 pm! Deals include $1 of beer/wine and specialty cocktails for $5.99! Yay! O = Outstanding desserts! I've had the Banana Cream Creme Brulee and can say it was fabulous! P = Perfect space! There's a large main dinning area, a closed in patio, and an outdoor sidewalk patio. No matter the vibe you're seeking - Chop Shop has got it! Chop Shop is def a fantastic addition to the dinning options in the Lowry neighborhood. I know I will be back. **Noteworthy: Chop Shop also focuses on sustainability and making the smallest footprint possible! Much of their decor is reclaimed, they use wine bottles as glasses, and reusable linens in their restaurants! Neat!

customer service is abysmal. I ordered for delivery and had to place a *second order to be able to pick up the first order. when I entered the shop, the hostess/waitress/whatever said "I added some rice crispy treats." No hello, goodn, or I'm so sorry for the hassle. i do not usually write reviews (positive or negative) but this place sucks.

Thank you for your response. A critique, the gal at the register peeped over the check out machine, watching how much my husband tipped. He did 20% feeling that would keep the staff from messing with our food. Maybe tell your staff not to do that. I equate that behavior that servers know not to remove your paid tab from a table until the customer leaves. Just my two cents

I asked for a kind of unusual order and I feel like the person helping me was extremely rude about it. Like I'm sure you've heard worse things in your life. No reason to make me feel bad for liking the foods I like.

This place NEVER lets us down, the fact that they use mixed meat to make amazing burgers is souly enough to give this place a chance. Not to mention their bistro option, or short rib, both are amazing and cover every aspect of what you would want via beef for lunch or dinner. Lean, or Fatty, this place has THE BEEF. Their awesome General Manager (Randi, I believe was her name) walked me through everything and honesty just made the decision harder because everything is and looks so good! Thank you guys so much! I will be back!!!!!

Liked the decor and the unique drink selection but the menu, food quality, and prices make this place not worth going back. Over $45 for sandwiches, fries, and fountain drinks wouldn't be too terrible but they were good. Unseasoned flat generic patties accompanied by nearly everything else being oversaturated in some sort of seasoning was a bad pair. Tater tots COMPLETELY covered in seasoning. Pickles? Yup, also completely covered. Parm fries? Covered so much that they were inedible and soggy. Plain fries? Not on the menu. Want any sauce on your chicken sandwich other than ranch? Not going to happen, brought out a completely dry sandwich and recommended using the mustard on the table instead. All of this was off and that is without going into the fact that it is odd to call a place a "chop house" with such a non-representative menu; stroganoff and Asian fusion but no brisket or pulled pork?... Not great.

Good tasty food with flavors that are simple for kids and interesting for parents. we order from here a lot (like once a week). will definitely continue doing so.

So.... wow. Woman who works here is awful. Just....consistently awful. Rude, insulting, not helpful and makes me feel like I'm an unbelievable inconvenience. Yikes.

I've been here a few times now, and I've enjoyed everything that I have eaten. I think the menu does change now and then, but they keep many of the items permanent, with only a few changes here and there. My favorite is the Mediterranean chicken dish, but they also make a pretty good burger, which is always available. You might be a little off-put about spending over $12 for a burger, but let's be honest, if you go to a burger joint, by the time you add more than two ingredients and a side you're going to be at $15 there too. So get it here instead and enjoy. Slightly higher-quality ingredients justify the cost here, and I just hope they keep my favorites on the menu.

This was our first time getting food from this location. Ordering out went smoothly. Everything was easy to pick up and ready for me even though I was a little bit early. I went with the SW salad with fried chicken on top. I like to go more healthy with grilled but I do really like their fried chicken and we were moving and I was just flat out starving.

Very good experience with takeout. I ordered the chicken sandwich with fries and my wife ordered the veggie burger with onion rings. Both were excellent. Highly recommend the chicken sandwich, the ranch aioli was excellent. My only complaint was the order of onion rings only came with two rings which was somewhat disappointing but maybe that was a mistake. Anyways, the takeout aspect was extremely efficient and well done.

The food was good. We had short ribs and meatloaf. The staff were hard working, friendly, and I felt the establishment ran smoothly. My only beef is that we were out for a long overdue date night and they were not offering service (even on the patio). We could take our food to go and eat on the patio. However, that delicious food in to go containers didn't feel very special.

It was $20 for a salad with chicken and a tip but well Worth EVERY penny, seriously one of the best salads I've ever had. Quality salad ingredients and so happy I found this place, I will be back to try more of the menu if their salads were THAT good! I got the super greens salad with champagne vinaigrette tossed with grilled chicken, SO YUM!

This place is consistently delicious and I am LOVING the new menu items. The menu was pretty limited before-which was fine cause everything was good-but I keep trying new things and they keep being yummy! Tonight I'm trying the crispy fried all natural chicken and I'm sure it will be dope. My favorite thing has to be the Brussels sprouts. Drool worthy. Salads are really good too! We were in the Lowery area dropping off a donation and decided to try something new. This unassuming building is hiding delicious slow cooked food at a fast food pace. We ordered three dishes to try them out (photo attached) and we were not disappointed! First off, their 48-hour slow cooked short rib is front and center on the menu, for good reason. It is flavorful, juicy, and fork tender, but you don't even need to cut it because it just melts in your mouth. It comes with roasted whole carrots and silk-smooth mashed potatoes and a rich gravy. For a lighter fare, we also tried the French dip. Thin sliced slow cooked sirloin paired with horseradish and a savory au ju. Most restaurants just put sandwich roast beef on a bagette with beef water, but this was completely over the top with flavor and satisfaction. It would have been my go-to dish, except we also tried the fried chicken... If all they did was fried chicken, KFC would be run out of town on a rail. Crispy, juicy, amazing flavor, topped with a chipotle honey sauce, paired with white cheddar polenta and bacon topped sauted chard with bacon gravy. Hands down the best fried chicken I've ever had. Slow cooked southern food delivered at a fast food pace. Don't check this place out if you aren't prepared to have a new favorite restaurant!

This food is legit! Now, I have only visited on two separate occasions but both times the food was hot and delicious! Each time I ordered to-go and my food was ready in less than 15 minutes. I had the Crispy Chicken Sandwhich with slaw, bacon, and garlic aioli on my first visit and this sandwhich was amazing! Only issue is that I asked for the sauce on the side and it was on the sandwhich and they only gave me about 4 onion rings for my $2 upcharge side. Not sure why they skimp on the side but these beer battered puffy rings of goodness are delicious! My second time was the burger with spicy aioli on the side. The burger was cooked to medium (yum) and was seasoned perfectly...seriously amazing. And yes, I got the onion rings again. I would highly recommend this place for restaurant quality food as it's better than most fast casual establishments. My total for both meals was over $16 with tax but well worth it!

Doesn't look like much from the outside, but Oh My Goodness! The food is delicious! We're visiting from Atlanta & if we lived here I would try everything on the menu. We had shrimp & bacon rice bowl, short ribs, and the meatloaf! You won't be disappointed! Very friendly staff!!

So very close to 4 stars. The issue I have is consistency. I live a few blocks away so it's nice to grab comfort food take-out when the going gets tough in life. The slow-cooked ribs are definitely my favorite out of the 4 or so meals I've tried. I've had them when they are a five-star-palette-blowing-groans-of-satisfaction-inducing miracle. And I've had them when they are a skimpy, grisly disappointment. The location and the concept is great. Service is friendly and efficient. For the price-point, I'm holding off on repeat visits until I get close to the same tasty meal every time.

My family and I have been going to this chain for years. The salads, soups, and entrees are wicked healthy and always a hit from whoever orders them. Today I ordered the Super Chop salad which is loaded with kale, mixed greens, eggs, avocado, quinoa, small beans, and candied pecans. It comes with a champagne vinaigrette dressing. Yum!

I had the salmon meal with kale veggies - mi padre ate a burger with house made chips! (He said it was good which translates to dad for GREAT) Seriously a great spot for healthy meal - I had a glass of red wine but tried the pumpkin beer on tap and it was so refreshing! Loved it! Def recommend for a date night, lunch, or just to chat it out with a local friend
