Absolutely awesome food and really fairly priced for how much you get. You can't go wrong by getting any of the sampler platters. The service was outstanding and the place is sparkling clean. My party of 5 ended up canceling at another place so that we can eat here again during our trip. Loved it.

Such a lovely place to eat Korean food! Every dishes were so great, esp Gimchi zzigae was the best. This restaurant has very neat and comfortable seats, so it would be good for family dinners or coming on special days. At the next table, they ate Korean barbecue and it looked quite delicious.

This place is the bomb. I absolutely loved it and worth the price for sure. not a huge selection but very good quality for what you get. This is the best Korean barbecue in Vegas

Great food, decent price. Paid $33 for the all you can eat. There is a $12 all you can drink but it's only for draft beer (we didn't get this). You also get charged for left over food, particularly meat. The waiter was super nice and helpful he recommended we get 1 soup per party to share --- you don't have to get the soup if you don't want it. Then 1-2 appetizers. We got 3 (gyoza, tempura shrimp, and egg rolls). Then 3 meats and 1 large entree ( you are allowed 1 per table or 1 per two people). If you follow this you should be pretty full by the end. We got the pork belly - which was good, the spicy pork - which was delicious and we'll seasoned, we got some short rib - which was also really good, and for our large entre we ended up getting a large rib with meat. It was all so so good. We also got the veggies because it came with onions but you can just get onions if you prefer. Drinks are extra, for a party of 3 we spent about 140 with tip. Ultimately, great service. They give you 2 hours to eat and cook your meal. We had an 8:00pm reservation but didn't get seated til like 8:30 because they were pretty booked. If you don't like to wait they also have take out.

All you can eat beef in different cuts, all in good to great quality. Delicious flavorful range of sides and fixins. Great service. The brisket, bulgogi, boneless galbi and the NY were our favs. Bibimbap and the soybean stew are recommended. Sorry i was too busy grillin the meet and eating it to take more pics :)

Overal the flavor of the meats were great! The service was excellent!! The lady who served us was one of the best I had in a while at any restaurant. I give it 3 stars because of the price and options of meat. Even though everything tasted great and it was easy access from the strip, the price could be better . There are more AYCE Korean bbq places off the strip that we could’ve gone to with more options of meat and cheaper price. Still a great place to eat and the atmosphere is wonderful.

If you’re on the strip and craving kbbq, this is your spot! The only kbbq on the strip and it’s bomb. I’m super impressed by the quality of their meat. The bulgogi tower is insane! Spicy cold noodles were super yummy! 🥰 10/10 recommend. It’s located at the Miracle Mile Shops at Planet Hollywood. 💯🥰

Amazing experience! The chief was funny and he made one course at a time and it was great fun watching him cook! He started with a knife show and onion ring volcano! Also had the Bibimbap and it was yummy! They have a lot of options for wines. cocktails & beers are available too.

This place is amazing. I came in the other day with my friend without a reservation. We still got the table right away. The food is good. Martelle is the one server that took care of our table. He recommended the premium menu which is so good. Would like to comeback and highly recommend Martelle to serve the table. He was outstanding and knowledgeable as a great server .

As someone from LA, I have eaten at 2 Gen locations and have never had any bad experiences. I decided to try out this Gen location. Located inside the Miracle Miles on Harmon Ave, I was very surprised to see how big this location is. I made a reservation here months in advance, we arrived 5 minutes before and had to wait at least 15-20 minutes extra. We came for dinner time. We were seated at a booth for me and my dad. The menu was a good selection of both sushi and kbbq. Service was a bit slow, but that's because they were busy. The food was good for the most part. I tried some of their rolls such as the king roll, spicy tuna, red dragon, and handrolls, and a few of me and my dad's favorite meat like brisket and bulgogi. Everything tasted good and I have no complaints about the food. This isn't my first Gen's visit, but it won't be my last either. I am happy to have found a location that serves both kbbq and sushi. I wish they had more spots like this in LA. If you're looking for a famous, well-known sushi and kbbq spot on the strip, Gen is your place. Gen's is very well known and has multiple locations across the 50 states. I would recommend checking out this spot at least once on your next Vegas trip!

My family and I stumbled upon Gen since we dropped the ball on making a reservation for anything else on our first night there and Gen was the few places that still had reservations available. The space is very big. We were hungry but not so hungry so we didn't do the all you can eat Korean BBQ. We had the all you can eat Izakaya and Sushi. I have to say the Izakaya is better than the Sushi. The standouts on the Izakaya menu were the spicy rice cakes, soondobu, gyoza, chicken, and fried rice. The sushi was mediocre at best, there was way too much rice in all the sushi and hand rolls we ordered. I would stick with the carpaccio. Our server was friendly and attentive. But overall, there are so many other better food options in Vegas.

Came here with my coworker! Good: - Lots of options for meats! We didn't even get to them all - The bulgogi and pork belly were my favorites! - Lots of seating and for seated right away - Attentive servers who swapped our grills often - Lots of Banchan, I liked the potato salad Bad: - Costly if you can't eat a ton. Overall fun experience and good place to catchup!

First let me start off with something good to say. The best thing I can recommend about Gen Korean BBQ is the staff. They are definitely efficient and helpful. Our server Cody was quick to serve and attentive. The ambience was lively, and it was clear people were enjoying their meal. But here's the thing, as a Korean American, I was embarrassed that this place is calling itself a Korean BBQ house. First to start, there were 4 sad banchan (side dishes), and then when they dropped off the dipping tray, for your meat, it was already a sign of the direction how the rest of the meal was going to go. If you don't know Korean BBQ, it should be all about the simplicity of the grilled meat, with salt & pepper, Sesame Oil, and ssamjang (red chili paste/fermented bean paste - trust me a delicious Korean dip). We did not get sesame oil, it's some kind of cheap substitute oil, looking more like canola oil. Next the meat and grilling experience, we didn't get a piece of lard to grease the pan, so the bulgogi we started grilling, just stuck and burned to the pan. I thought the bulgogi would be fatty enough that it wouldn't be a problem, but it still got stuck. It wasn't due to the heat, because it was low. Any lower and it would be off. In a lot of cases, the meat quality wasn't there, with probably the premium meat ribeye being the best. One other note, we had to ask for Tongs to flip the meat and the scissors to cut the meat were so dull, it was almost worthless. The vent pipe was not working, as smoke from the grilled meat was still around us. It was low to the meat, but not sucking in the smoke. We ordered the gyoza -- which seems off, like just call it Mandu, the Korean name, instead of a Japanese name if you're going to call yourself a Korean BBQ -- and it was not visually appealing. It looked like it was just tossed into an air fryer. At least get the bibigo frozen mandu and throw it into an oil fryer. You could order unlimited meat, but be careful, as they will charge you $5 for every untouched meat refill. There was no soft steamed egg, no lettuce for wraps, no onions, mushrooms or garlic to grill either. All of this led to a less than satisfying experience. Having said this, if you don't know good Korean BBQ, then I can see how you might be blown away. It can be a fun experience, and like I said a lot of folks seemed to be enjoying their dinner. For this reason, I'm giving it just 3 stars. The restaurant chain may vary by location, and some may be better than others, but it's doubtful I will ever go back to this chain restaurant.

My group came in on a Tuesday around 1pm. The restaurant was about 20% full. We did the lowest tier. After tax and before tip it's about $39 a person. Lots of variety. Service was friendly and quick. Some of the meats were chewy like the beef so I would stay clear from that. The texture of the shrimps were soft rather than firm so it was not for me.

We came here again with a big group and experience was still very good. Some really good Korean bbq for a decent price

Way to step up your game, Gen K-BBQ! Despite being short staffed this afternoon, everyone pitched in to get orders out and customers in. Food was very flavorful and meat well marinated. Today we tried the Premium menu addition for the first time and we were happy with the offerings especially the Wagyu Premium Brisket (unlimited), and the Premium Marbling Center Cut Marinated Short Rib (2 orders per person - although we would have loved for this item to be unlimited as well). But even if you don't want to add the Premium menu, their regular menu is pretty stacked with great meats i.e. filet mignon, galbi, spicy pork belly, ribeye steak, etc... definitely our go to place when on the Strip for an event.

Foods are good. Great price. Service is okay. The server missed one of our orders and we have to ask her to place it again. This place is restaurant in the front and bar in the back. Pretty nice place.

Me and my BFF were walking the strip when we came across Gen. We arrived just as they were opening and were the first customers for the day. We were both surprised how much food we got for $35. We were both already hungry but we were not able to finish it all, even if we tried. I'm from Hawaii and haven't made it to the Gen on Oahu so am so glad I finally made it to one! Would definitely go to a Gen again!

I love Korean barbecue, as it's not just dinner, but it's an experience. I can tell you our experience at this restaurant was nothing shy of fantastic. Being that it's on the strip, we did make a reservation online and they were ready for us as soon as we arrived. Our server was really friendly and fun to converse with, she was extremely attentive and explained the whole process to the guests at the table who had not experienced Korean Bbq before. Their menu had a ton of options as long as you were not vegan. This experience is definitely for the meat eaters of the world. They did have Sushi if you preferred that over grilling your dinner. The bbq experience makes for an enjoyable evening being able to grill together and serve each other family style. I would say that the short ribs were the crowd favorite, but honestly everything tasted delicious! Be sure to bring an appetite as the all you can eat menu is $35 per person and I think they fed us more than we traditionally eat at a thanksgiving day dinner!

KBBQ ALERT- This is in Miracle Mile shops next to Pampas. The Vegas strip restaurant exuded a flashy and vibrant atmosphere. The menu was priced at $35.95 with an optional $20 add-on for more meats, I found that during my visit, i only wanted the regular menu. The food was delectable and well worth the cost, although the service was inconsistent. Despite this, having a Korean BBQ spot on the strip was a great addition, and the meal was satisfying enough to warrant a return visit. The combination of delicious food and reasonable prices outweighed the hit or miss service, making it a worthwhile dining experience. I am excited to sample more dishes on my next visit. Overall, my experience was positive, and I would recommend it to others seeking a flavorful meal.

Decent AYCE value for the strip as long as you don't order the premium upgrade. The bulgogi had good flavor. The ultimate salmon roll was better. I'd definitely pass on the baked alaskan & the baked Japanese lasagna rolls. The mango iced tea was ok...

The food and service was great! We did the regular dinner. The meats were perfectly marinated and the chadol was perfectly thinly sliced. We loved dipping the brisket in the matcha salt. We also loved that there was sushi on the menu which other Gens do not have. The sushi was amazing but for an AYCE Korean establishment, it wasn't bad! Our food came out pretty quick each round so we constantly had food on our table. Once we were half way done with our round, our server made sure to place our next order. We were in and out within an hour! The restaurant was clean and open. The fans did a good job at absorbing most of the smokiness. I would definitely come back here next time I'm in Vegas!

Fun and a lot to eat for a low price. Get the short ribs. Keep in mind you have to cook the meats yourself. Shrimp comes with heads and tails on. Harder to cook and eat. I enjoyed it.

Sitting here right now, my fire plate was completely blacked out and the server was nowhere to be seen. Not sure if they are understaffed or he has too many tables but the service has definitely sucked. I was hoping it would be similar or better than the other place I tried a couple of days ago but that's a big NO. Edit: did not think that it would get any worse but it did, service was definitely trash. Best thing about this place is the sushi, high 5 to whoever was making the rolls, you the real MVP.

We had an exceptional experience at Gen BBQ! The quality of the meats was unbeatable, and the service from Jane was outstanding. Stacey, the manager, went above and beyond to make sure we were well taken care of. Ambience is amazing and nothing like their other locations in California. The food was hands down the best we've ever had, anywhere in the world. We'll definitely be coming back every time! Thank you Stacey and Jane!

We finally made it to Gen, also first time AYCE Korean bbq. We ordered about 3 rounds total. First round: salmon+tuna sashimi carpaccio, 2 tuna handroll and 2 ribeye steaks(very thin) Second round: Beef belly, Kalbi ribs, KFC chicken, shrimps and salad Third round: More beef belly and Kalbi ribs and tofu soup( not tasty). Attentive/fast service, changed the grill 3X, refilled ice water a few times Relaxing ambiance, we finished our meal in about an hour forty minutes and it is very filling...good value for $36pp.

This place is totally worth it! Dinner time is always busy so get there willing to wait, make a reservation, or call ahead. Once seated it is pretty simple. Decide on the menu you'd like to try, order some beverages, appetizers, sides, and begin cooking your meats as they come out. The waittresses were always busy but kept a smike on their faces. The servers inside also seemed a bit understaffed but they were always so friendly and over communicated when things were taking a bit longer. Truly no complaints. Quality of food is good and the price is extremely reasonable.

This Gen Korean in the Miracle Mile shops area is GEN on 'Roids! It is KBBQ AND sushi AYCE for $35.99 5/23. Short wait time. I was there fairly late at night. They have filet mignon and other top meats that regular GENs do not! My waiter, another young Joe Cool, took awhile to come by. Also, rarely showed up unless I flagged him. Finally, got him enough times to get my massive eating ability firing on all cyclinders. 2 dudes at a table next to mine I got talking to. Both of them were on business from Maine. They were shitting at how much I could put away. Ya damn right! Yo boy could competive eat back in his younga days for sure but never did. Haha. So I came, mediocre waiter, I still conquered and was smart to avoid the sushi and hammer the meats. Only 1 Cali roll to sample. See my pics to see what got damaged in the process. I would def come back here. Maybe this next trip in the beginning of 2024. Just hope it is a better waiter.

My first Korean bbq it was great! Awesome bang fire your buck! Off you are not a beef or chicken lover there are veggies you can grill out order pre cooked. The sushi is better than decent to can order as much as you like. Only issue when we were there was having to ask for the Kobe (?kobe?) 4 times before receiving it. It's def go back as close to their opening time as possible for less of a wait.

I hope all Gen's close down. DO NOT EAT HERE. YOU HAVE BEEN WARNED I have now had terrible service at Henderson and Las Vegas Strip. Service is bad And they will rip you off. Doesn't matter if you only order ice cream or just drinks, you will be charged an all you can eat fee when you are zero food. portions are small, appetizers are blah, and there are way better placed to eat for Korean food

I'm from LA and let me tell you this Gen BBQ spot is way better than what we have out there. The meat taste way better, Service is fast and attentive always making sure you're right. Atmosphere is great, when ever I'm in Vegas I'll definitely come back here. Cody was the only server on schedule and he made it happen for the night with a smile all night

I'm from Long Beach and frequent the Cerritos Gen all the time. This is my first time at the Vegas one and omg. It was by far thee best. The premium meat selections were just so much better. I mean cmon, sushi too!? More appetizer options. My son wanted to try it all! We went For my bday and they came by and sang to me. Scared me a bit but it cute. Definitely coming back. I loved that you take reservations.

We are party of three. We all love the food there. Once we got the table, got pretty good service, foods bring out pretty quickly. Our server was very nice. The table was pretty comfortable. too. We definitely will be back for the food. However, I hope they will change that wait 50 minutes for a table. I don't get it while there are many empty tables inside but still telling us to wait about 50 minutes. I don't understand that. After we done eating and walked out, we saw there were many tables were empty but there were many people were standing outside and waiting for the tables. I really don't like this part. Why they can't let people in and have the table since there are so many empty tables?

The waiter gave us no explanation of how we were supposed to cook our meat. It stuck to the grill and wasn't edible anyway. The sushi tasted like gas station sushi. It was not enjoyable to us.

I know what you're thinking! "You're from SGV, why would you go eat GEN???" Trust me, I know!!! My last time at GEN was years ago due to my horrible experience in the Alhambra location. I never stepped foot into another, until I realized this GEN location comes with sushi options at an affordable rate: $35.95/per person for AYCE KBBQ + SUSHI. Surprisingly and so glad I gave this location a chance because food: check, service: check, ambiance: check!!! Located right in the middle of the Strip at PH, clean with amazing, quick service - THANK YOU STEVE! He checked in on us frequently for new orders and refills. He was polite and friendly as well. A+!!! We came right at 7:30 and added to the waitlist. We waited close to 30 minutes for a party of 6, and they sat us at a table for 8. I love that they go in order of the waitlist and have space to accommodate small and large parties. Rather than having to jump around the waitlist due to limited seating/space! Definitely a plus!!! We had comfortable seats and ample room for plates without having to feel rushed to finish up the food. Onto the food! So much to choose from - you will be overwhelmed at first! For the orders, they allow you to choose 4 meats, 4 appetizers, 1 carpaccio, 2 rolls and 1 hand roll for each round. Keep in mind, the hand roll is one time order though! Here are my recommendations from each category: Meats: Kobe Beef Belly, Rib Eye, Galbi, Hawaiian Steak and Garlic Pork Belly Banchans: Kimchi, rice paper, potato salad, samjang with garlic and jalapenos (awesome with pork belly!) Appetizers: Tacos, Japchae, Corn Cheese, Takoyaki Carpaccio: Salmon Sushi Rolls: Baked Alaskan, Baked Lasagna, Ultimate Salmon, Hot Night I would skip on the hand rolls! I will certainly come here again if I am feeling AYCE kbbq + sushi! Price is amazing (esp. for Vegas!), service is attentive, location is convenient and food has taste and quality!

We had Gen for lunch in the arrival of our Las Vegas trip. To be honest it was the Marriott discount that prompted us to visit Gen (free drinks and 10% off). I didn't realize you actually cook the food yourself. We were boating with another couple and it was a fun lunch. Servings are unlimited and the meets were tasty. The KFC chicken was a big hit. Highly recommend.

If you go to Gen BBQ, you should know what type of food you will get. We love Korean BBQ and Gen is one of our favorites. The key difference for this particular dinner is the service. We waited 30miin more than the promised "to be seated time". But it is holiday weekend so I guess they are running too busy. But inside, our server (Mary) was amazing. She just made our experience much better. For that I will give a 4.4 score for this review.

Much Better Than LA! Its not as loud and the food is higher quality! Our waiter was super nice. Much better options for kids too. In LA all they had was popcorn chicken! (Yum! But...) Had a great time here. BEWARE! Any plate u don't finish will be charged $5!!!! Ms.FoodieCritic

Best all you eat Asian buffet choice on the strip! Dining area is clean and inviting. Staff is exceptionally friendly and the food is to die for! Cook all you want and eat all you want! Portions are perfect and you can cook it until you are happy with it. Highly Recommend this place!

Had a great dinner in Las Vegas! Quick service! Great value! Selection of meats & sides including sushi rolls! Love that they change out grills frequently. Filet was a favorite!

The meat was like leather! Not well staffed. Our poor waiter did his best. Left him a 25% tip cuz he tried and was so nice. But the meats were so tough! Couldn't even chew them. If u want the better cuts you had to pay $20 more per person! We still payed close to $100 for two people! In Orange County, CA, we don't have to pay the up charge for decent regular meats. Never going back! I'm giving it a star bcuz of our nice waiter

Anyone who doesn't give this 5 stars is tripping. The quality of food is phenomenal. Everything is seasoned/ marinated soo well. As for the choices you get meat, sides, specialties, sushies, and stuff not on the menu too. Service is tip top. Front staff is kind and patient. Honestly this location deserves two thumbs up. By the way I went in new years eve and even in a holiday they had it all together, kudos!

10/10 would recommend coming back to Gen Korean BBQ at Miracle Mile! The overall ambiance of the restaurant is really open and fun to look around. We were served by Marieanne who quickly explained how the menu and ordering processes work. Although my group and I have previously eaten at Gen in Seattle, Washington, the Las Vegas location has a larger menu. At this location, the price is $35.95 (plus tax) per person for AYCE Korean bbq + sushi all day. They do have a new menu called the Premium Menu that feature quality cuts of meat such as Wagyu, taco sampler and more for an added extra $20 per person, but we stuck with the regular menu. The ordering process can be quite hard due to the variety of items of the menu, but I believe we are able to order (per round) - 4 meats - 4 appetizers (izakaya) - 1 carpaccio - 2 specialty rolls - Hand rolls are limited, one of each per person at the table We tried out several different items on the menu including Kobe beef belly, Galbj, Filet Mignon, cheese corn, edamame, salmon carpaccio and a few hand rolls. My group had no complaints about the food at all! Everything had been very tasty and we even managed to order and eat 19 different items! Definitely one of the best parts of our trip and something we will have to come back for!

Reservations are highly recommended, I'm glad I made a reservation because when I went to check in.. the front area was PACKED, and the people were told 1 hour 30 min wait.. The food was good, with great options, great service, and the place looked great. There was a weird back area by the restroom area that was empty.. I'm not sure what that area was. The only downfall was that the place gets smoky compared to other KBB places. With the tables so close, we were getting smoked out.. we had to leave.. couldn't breathe.. even woth the vent from the top.. don't think that did anything.

Food is amazing! So fresh and delicious! I loved the brisket and halve the most! Prices are decent. Service is quite fast and they are all very friendly and kind. The place is really busy which is always a good sign. Definitely coming back :)

I was visiting Vegas from Ohio and seriously craving korean food, so you know I had to stop here. I love kbbq and am someone who grew up on korean food. We did the ayce kbbq and ordered pork belly, brisket, rice cakes, banchan (sides), etc. This was also my partner's first time trying korean corn cheese and I think he might have fallen in love. The service was friendly and speedy. The place was not too loud but played good music and had an upbeat vibe. Lot of people drinking soju and just having a good time.

I really enjoyed everything about this place. I had several meats, vegetables, salad, glass noodles, fried rice, and bonchon. Service was prompt and friendly. Grill was replaced regularly. Price was reasonable considering the location. I hope to try the sushi, chicken, soup, etc. next time.

I genuinely feel bad for people who have the impression after eating here thinking it's KBBQ. PLEASE if you want to try KBBQ for the first time GO SOMEWHERE ELSE!!! Not only would you save your time you will also save your stomach and money!

Food was slow to prepare. Service was taken a long time to wait, sit and serve. Not enough servers, waiters and kitchen staff. The menu was good but don't have what you ordered due to the availability of kitchen staff.

The food was top quality cuts and flavor. Paired with amazing service you can't go wrong with this Resturant!

Food was amazing and so much to choose from The atmosphere is very nice and relaxed. Encourage to make a reservation later on in the evenings as they do get pretty full. I highly recommend enjoying some great Korean barbecue at this establishment.

Had dinner here with a group of 8 on a Monday night. We had a reservation but still had to wait about ten minutes to be seated. The all you can eat menu includes a wide range of meats, appetizers, and sides and we ordered almost one of everything to share. The food was great, however it took us forever to get our drinks and food. Then we continued to have issues finding our server to get refills of the meat. If you want Korean BBQ on the strip then this is a good place. However, if you are able to drive 15 minutes to China Town there are several AYCE Korean BBQ places at which you will have a better experience.

Had to wait 1 hour and 20 minutes, which was fine for the most part. The price was $35 per person, which seemed reasonable--until the check came. I noticed they had taken $40 as a tip without even mentioning such a charge existed. We were a group of four, and they claimed it was "company policy" to automatically charge an 18% tip. Honestly, it felt incredibly disrespectful and shady to just take a tip without giving us the choice. We would have tipped ourselves, but forcing it like that, without any transparency, is just wrong.

Wanted to try a different Korean bbq. What a mistake. This is a dumbed down version korean bbq. Even though we had a reservation, we were sat about 45 minutes later. This place is busy for people who wanted korean qqb near the strip. It appears for a place of this size, they are grossly understaffed and you are waiting for everything. Drink order taken 15 minutes after being sat. First meat order took just as long. Hint. Over order your meats as they take forever to get to the table and servers are nonexistent once 1st order is delivered. Side dishes were meh.. the soondooboo jjigae is wtf. It literally looks and tastes like Shin ramen soup with tofu. Totally mailing it in giving customers the WISH version of that soup. I also don't remember seeing steamed egg.. meh. The pluses. Ask for garlic and ssamjang. Thinly sliced garlic cook into garlic chips are the best w krn bbq. Bottomless filet and ribeye portions.. well, when they finally get brought to table. Verdict. Just go to Master Kim's.

This Gen KBBQ spot in Vegas is a bit of a game-changer. Went with friends and, surprise, they've got tacos and sushi rolls on the menu--something different from the usual Gens I've hit up. Food? Solid. Tacos, sushi rolls, you name it, all tasty and filling. Only thing, it's a bit louder than your typical Gen joint, but hey, it's Vegas, right?
