Had a chance to try out Chote miyan this past week. It was on my to go list since it opened, but it didn't meet the hype. It was okay food. Vada pav were overcooked/burned because of refrying, i think. They were on the spicy side. I would prefer/recommend "mithaas" vada pav over these. Chili honey cauliflower was crispy, and it was a good portion, but sadly, it was missing the Chili and honey. They were simple double fried Cauliflower pakoda. Butter Chicken was just okay... let's see, instead of saying, "Not so good, we can say" not so bad... it was an okay food, but the view is amazing. food court itself is very crowded. Food court has seating inside (ac area), and there are some tables outside, too. We loved the view. And yes, mango lassi tasted good.

Had been planning to try this place out for a long time. It's inside the Time Out market along with several other restaurants in the food court. We got the chicken khurchan, curry chicken 65, lamb Chapli kebab burger with masala fries and guava lassi. I was seriously impressed with guava lassi. Perfect taste, not too sweet and very unique. Must try. Burger was delicious, Chapli kebab was perfectly spiced. Chicken khurchan was yum it was served over small crispy naans. Very nice presentation. Curry chicken 65 was a disappointment. The presentation was great but it had some weird honey sauce/ sweet chutney drizzled over it which killed the flavor of the chicken. I wish they would change that. The portion sizes are small compared to the prices. Sadly they were out of kheema pav so will have to visit again next time to try that.

Decent food with some sort of fusion variety going on. The paneer khurchan rolls did not disappoint, the mixture and combination of flavors meshed well with the texture of the tender paneer and roti. The honey chilli cauliflower, however, was kind of a disappointment. There was hardly any chili or spice in the sauce and the cauliflower was not crispy either. seemed to have lacked salt too. the most sauce there was was a mild amount of honey that settled at the bottom of the plate. The bombay bhel was good, though, was crunchy and flavorful with each bite.

Chote Miya serves the most innovative and creative Indian street food. Chote Miya is in the middle of a foodie world, when you walk into the building, there's a bunch of food spots from all cultures. It looked so fun, you could spend a whole day there and enjoy the view of the manhattan brooklyn bridge in Dumbo as well. We had to start off with some lassis of course. Strawberry lassi was so creamy like strawberry yogurt. Super refreshing as well! It's perfect for the summer. The mango lassi was no doubt delicious. For appetizers we started off with vada pav. It is a potato slider with mint chutney. We watched the chef toast the bread into the perfectly crisp bun for our crispy potatoes. We actually never had this before and thought it was very delicious. The fried potato was mashed inside, it was crispy on the outside and super soft on the inside. The mint chutney adds a refreshing flavor to every bite. We also tried the samosas chaat. We honestly love chaat. Samosas chaat was so fancy and delicious. I think I would have to pick this over a regular chicken or vegetable samosa. The plating and presentation was super impressive too. You really get a bang for your buck. For our entrees we got the butter chicken of course. I mean that is a classic! You cannot go wrong with butter chicken, we honestly recommend to try this if you never had Indian food before. Butter chicken is made slightly differently at every restaurant but it is ALWAYS delicious. Our favorite part of the meal were the chicken khurchan!! They are like tacos but India style. The crispy paratha with the flavorful chicken was perfect! The chicken was not dry either. It was so juicy and flavorful, I don't think I can have regular chicken tacos ever again. People walked past us and ordered some to try too, I promise you the food was so appetizing and looked so good, many people broke their necks to check out what we got. We cannot wait to come back here! Everyone was so nice, especially the chef. We even followed him on Instagram and we did a little stalking, this guy use to cook for high end hotels in Dubai!! No wonder why he was so professional and talented! We are so grateful to have him serve us food that day.

Love love love absolutely the vada pau, paneer and chicken khurchan rolls. They are a little pricey given the location. We recently tried their palak chat that was yummilicious as well. The lassi's are rich but flavor is OK!

I would not recommend it, after waiting for ordering food in a queue. It was not that the food was bad; for the price changed for food it doesn’t do justice. The place doesn’t provide freshly cooked Indian cuisine. I saw employees use the frozen food items that you can get from Indian stores. For that you don’t have to travel to a dine in eatery. No service, one needs to start questioning why do I tip when I need to go get the food. This is true for all the food joints in timeout market. The place had 4 restrooms and you will have to stand in a queue for 20 minutes. Whole Timeout Market was really crowded, it was difficult to find a seaton space and enjoy the food. The place was also really noisy

The food here is excellent and is a great addition to Time Out Market! Really happy to see an Indian AND Halal vendor! Food: I tried the Chicken Khurchan Bombay Frankies, Honey Chili Cauliflower, Magic Masala Fries, Keema Pav, & Samosa Chaat. I found that every single item was a complete hit and it tasted very authentic! I especially loved the Bombay Frankies because of the lacha Paratha! It's SOOOO good! It's a must try in my opinion! Drinks: I tried the rose and mango lassi, and the Indian lemonade. These are their cooler refreshing drinks and they were all soooo good especially in the NYC heat. I also tried the masala chai which was excellent and I think would pair really well with the lacha Paratha! Service: Great service! The staff is super nice and very efficient/quick with orders! Ambiance: it's located inside of time out market so there's plenty of seating and it's casual!

I was pleasantly surprised by the quality of food here. Samosa chaat was really delicious. Butter chicken with parantha was great too. Chhole had authentic flavors. The whole area is cool, one can buy food any vendor, while the sitting area is common. Would definitely visit again.
