First visit experience.
Food is terrific.
We ordered Orange Chicken, Pork Pot Stickers, and House Special Sweet and Sour Pork. The Orange Chicken came out first and I didn't hesitate to start.
The sauce is gently sweet and aromatic, that batter light and crispy. BONUS. I'm not really a fan of batter on my meat entrees.
Really done well.
The Pot Stickers arrived next. My dining partner started on those almost immediately and was slowed down fairly quickly with the initial bite. Very HOT apparently.
No sauce to dip them in, which I've come to expect, but they didn't need it. The dumplings were substantial and filled full with a delicious pork sausage.
They made us reminisce of a long gone restaurant where we used to dine.
Second visit.
We opted to select a few of the Handmade Dumplings.
P08 Pork & Napa Cabbage Dumplings (10) 9.98
P13 Steamed Juicy Pork Dumplings (10) 11.98
P17 Wonton in Hot Chili Oil 9.98
And soda comes in cans, $2.00.
I anticipated delish, and we got nothing less.
The Wontons were zingy and kinda numbing, the Pork & Napa Cabbage Dumplings juicy, meaty, and so good, the Steamed Juicy Pork Dumplings had a bit of a bite to the wrap, quite juicy interior that was almost soupy. I personally felt the dipping sauce flavor to be more vinegar like and simply enjoyed these without the sauce that accompanied them.
My favorite had to be the Wontons.
Ambience. Well they're located in a strip mall and if it weren't for the sign you might miss them.
I would've thought they offered only to go options but they have about 14 tables that seat 2 to 4, of which 4 of the tables can be pushed together to seat 8 to 10.
They do get busy but we've not experienced a wait. Yet.
Old country music has been playing low on both occasions.
Kitchen appears small, but it certainly is mighty for the tasty goodness they deliver.
Glad we finally stopped in.
