The 38 Best Restaurants in Phoenix

"From their small, unpretentious Chandler restaurant, chef-owners Lulu Zhou and Sunny Zhao turn out the specialties of their native Liaoning Province in Northeastern China as well as popular dishes from other regions. Famous for their savory pies and juicy steamed pork dumplings (all hand-made), they also make ethereal tomato-flour ball soup (infinitely better than it sounds) and an earthy stir-fry of eggplant, potato and jalapeño." - Mcconnell Quinn, Chris Malloy, Nikki Buchanan

The Best Chinese Restaurants Around Phoenix

"Owners Lulu Zhou and Sunny Zhao opened this comfortable neighborhood spot in 2011, bringing the hearty specialties of Northeastern China — and particularly Liaoning Province, their former home — to Chandler. They’ve since become famous for their noodles, hand-made dumplings and steam buns. Don’t miss pork and pickled cabbage dumplings, scallion pancakes, beef pies, cumin and caraway lamb, Shandong da lu noodle soup, or a garlicky stir fry of potatoes, eggplant and bell pepper." - Nikki Buchanan

$17 for over cooked Szechuan Spicy Chicken that consisted mostly of fried breading and tiny bits of chicken. Kind of surprised they even served it. Pot stickers were delicious. But skip this place.

Google
Me and my wife went to chew's kitchen it was really good my wife ordered chicken chow mein. I ordered beef with green onion, came with rice and we also got the wonton soup which is really good. Needed a little salt but still good. I recommend this place to anybody. It's a little hole in the wall place which are the best places to eat at

Google
This is the only restaurant I can find the Szechuan fish in hot chili oil. The service is great and the food is excellent. I drive over 30 miles to Chandler just for this dish.

Google
I came here for dinner and ordered my food I ordered a chicken dish an egg drop soup and rice. I started eating and found a very long hair in my chicken I picked it up and it was connected to 5 pieces of chicken all twisted up. The lady said she would remake it. I said no thank you as it just ruined my wanting to eat there. I finished some of my soup and left the whole plate of food on the table with only 1 bite eaten. Went to pay and they still charged me for the whole plate of food. I said that it was on the table uneaten and she said I gave you 10% discount. I was totally upset by this I didn’t say anything else I paid left a tip and left. That was the worst service I have ever had at a restaurant. I understand that mistakes happen but to charge me for something that had hair in it that I didn’t even eat is wrong. By the way I have a short hair so couldn’t have been mine. I am 68 years old and have can’t believe they treated me like that over a mistake they made. Cute little place and food looked amazing but the service was poor.

Google
Was in Chandler visiting family and they highly recommended this restaurant. Came here twice over the weekend trying different dishes and everything was great! The szechuan spicy chicken was my favorite, best I've had so far. Sliced pork with jalapeño was also great. Will definitely be back next time as well!

Google
Absolutely blown away by our meal at Chou’s Kitchen. Every item we ordered was a 10/10. The dumplings were so delicious — we kept ordering more. We can’t wait to come back.

Google
Great food, I ordered the beef and vegetable noodles and it was delicious and my daughter ordered the steem dumplings, she ate every piece. My husband ordered the yangzhou rice ❤️ he ate the whole thing. Everything was really good. Authentic Chinese food.

Google
They offer authentic Chinese food AND if you are polite and they're not super busy... you can request certain dishes to be Gluten Free. 😃 The wait staff are kind and patient when ordering special diet items in English. Be patient with whoever is in the back cooking. If they can make your order to your diet specification on that dish then cool. If not, move on. They have PLENTY of different options and their vegetable dishes are to die for. I go with coworkers who introduced me and I'd love to bring my hubby for a date night. The food is good no matter what you order and it ain't no American style orange chicken here, son. Real orange chicken to die for, per my co-worker. Good portions, decent prices and you can't beat the flavor. We're finally becoming regulars.

Yelp
First visit experience. Food is terrific. We ordered Orange Chicken, Pork Pot Stickers, and House Special Sweet and Sour Pork. The Orange Chicken came out first and I didn't hesitate to start. The sauce is gently sweet and aromatic, that batter light and crispy. BONUS. I'm not really a fan of batter on my meat entrees. Really done well. The Pot Stickers arrived next. My dining partner started on those almost immediately and was slowed down fairly quickly with the initial bite. Very HOT apparently. No sauce to dip them in, which I've come to expect, but they didn't need it. The dumplings were substantial and filled full with a delicious pork sausage. They made us reminisce of a long gone restaurant where we used to dine. Second visit. We opted to select a few of the Handmade Dumplings. P08 Pork & Napa Cabbage Dumplings (10) 9.98 P13 Steamed Juicy Pork Dumplings (10) 11.98 P17 Wonton in Hot Chili Oil 9.98 And soda comes in cans, $2.00. I anticipated delish, and we got nothing less. The Wontons were zingy and kinda numbing, the Pork & Napa Cabbage Dumplings juicy, meaty, and so good, the Steamed Juicy Pork Dumplings had a bit of a bite to the wrap, quite juicy interior that was almost soupy. I personally felt the dipping sauce flavor to be more vinegar like and simply enjoyed these without the sauce that accompanied them. My favorite had to be the Wontons. Ambience. Well they're located in a strip mall and if it weren't for the sign you might miss them. I would've thought they offered only to go options but they have about 14 tables that seat 2 to 4, of which 4 of the tables can be pushed together to seat 8 to 10. They do get busy but we've not experienced a wait. Yet. Old country music has been playing low on both occasions. Kitchen appears small, but it certainly is mighty for the tasty goodness they deliver. Glad we finally stopped in.

Yelp
We frequent this place quite frequently and typically order the same dishes. I want to specially talk about their orange chicken, which is one of our favorite dishes they make and serve. This time around the chicken wasn't good. Many of the pieces were tough, hard, and dried out. We were really surprised and this isn't typical for our experience. I love that they use real pieces of orange in their sauce, which is always lighter and so tasty. We called our order in on our way home from out of town and everything was ready and hot when we arrived. Always friendly service!

Yelp
This gets a lot of stars and I am curious of the reviewers palette for such high rating. We were taken back when comparing against other high rated Yelp Chinese establishments. We got the sesame chicken, the orange chicken and the sweet and sour chicken along with pork fried rice (which was actually chicken that looked undercooked) and potstickers. Side note: It took a whole day for the smell from the potstickers to exit my truck. I wasn't aware of what that smell was until I had put the leftovers in the fridge. I haven't smelled that bad of a stench since my college roommate days. The quality of the meat does not equal the price. Chou
google avatar

Chad C.

Yelp
The food was good and plentiful. There wasn't any leftovers other than rice. I do wish there were more vegetables in the orange chicken. Service wise they were unwilling to waiver or make substitutions even at a cost. Part of it was language barrier I'm thinking as I tried to order chicken fried rice as a separate menu item and that didn't get delivered, but it also didn't get charged on the bill. Very good food. Don't get me wrong. Ambience wise it's great for families and a full stomach. Not a date night restaurant atmosphere but great for dinner at home. 4+ for the food and 3 for the service.

Yelp
This place is in a strip mall so there is lots of parking. The staff were super friendly when we walked in and checked on us. The chef even came out to ask if everything was ok. They make the dumplings fresh so there will be a wait. The restaurant is very clean and so was the restroom. There is only one but it was very clean. I loved that you can see them working in the dough and preparing the dumplings. The orange chicken was very good. Not super sweet and has just the right amount of crunch. The cabbage was also very good so I think the vegetarian options are all so tasty. The beef noodle soup was so good, I didn't think it was spicy at all but I can see how someone who normally doesn't eat spicy food would find it hot. The dumplings were so good. The flavor was delicious and I dipped it in the beef broth and oh my gosh it has to be one of the best dumplings I have had. Will definitely be back!

Yelp
We finally came here after we had saved this place for a long time. It was my birthday and I was feeling like some Beef Noodle Soup. We came here before 6pm and there were plenty of tables available. Parking was plentiful and was not a problem. We were seated in a booth and the restaurant looked clean. Their menu had a lot of choices and a lot of it sounded good to us. We ordered the Wonton In Hot Chili Oil, the Steamed Juicy Soup Dumplings, the Chicken Fried Rice, the Stir-Fried Eggplant and Minced Pork with Garlic Sauce, and the Beef Stew Noodle Soup. The food came out as they were done. The Wonton In Hot Chili Oil was not bad to me and the Steamed Juicy Pork Soup Dumplings were good. This was one of the few restaurants that I've been to in the valley where they actually had ginger with the vinegar to dip the xiao long bao. The Chicken Fried Rice was delicious and definitely had that flaming wok taste to it which Iiked. The Stir-Fried Eggplant and Minced Pork with Garlic Sauce was tasty to me. Finally, the Beef Stew Noodle Soup was spicy but everything else was delicious and I definitely got my fix. The service was nice and they were all friendly. I will be back in the future to try more food on the menu!

Yelp
Yelp reviewers didn't steer us wrong on this one. I've had this restaurant in my collections for a while now and when my better half suggested "Chinese food" for a late lunch / early dinner. I'll give you one guess what I immediately brought up to have her check out. Greeted at the door with smiling faces, sat us at a booth table (good thing because they didn't know we were to embark on a food frenzy for our order)! We did have a large order, but I really wanted to give a more broad review of some of their dishes) Service was fantastic Clean and organized table with lots of condiments to choose from Our server was kind and took her time helping to explain some of the dishes we had questions on We couldn't have been happier with everything / how the dining experience went Started off with the garlic cucumbers as an appetizer Wontons in chili sauce Soup dumplings Egg drop soup Beef pies Vegetable fried rice Chicken and green beans We will definitely make this one of our "go to" places for authentic Chinese cuisine and can't wait to come back again and again in addition to telling all of our friends to give them a try.

Yelp
This is by far the best Chinese food in chandler!! Food was fresh and hot with authentic taste!! The service was great and helpful with ordering. Definitely will be coming back here when having a taste for Chinese

Yelp
Service was nice and food was very good. It's small inside, but cozy. They have soup dumplings y'all! So it's very reasonably priced, I'd be here frequently if I lived in the area. They have soup spoons and chopsticks at the table, along with chili oil, vinegar and soy sauce. I'm not a huge fan of chopsticks and soup spoons on the side for just "anyone" to touch, but it's not like it's dirty inside or anything. We got the hot and sour soup, and it's so good! There's no shrimp or chicken in it, which I prefer, but the flavors are on point. It is so good and next time I'm here I'm going to get it again. Idc if it's 110 degrees out, it's that good. The mini and I had the pork potstickers and steamed juicy pork dumplings (aka soup dumplings). Omg. You get 10 soup dumplings but my chunky self could have eaten them all myself, but we ordered a few things so sharing was possible. The soup inside was rich and flavorful, the wrapper was not overly thick and it comes with a soy-ginger sauce that compliments it nicely. I'm definitely going to have to get this again too. The pork potstickers were nicely browned on the bottom, and it gave it a nice crisp bite. The wrapper wasn't too thick or too thin, it was just right. Baby bear approved (by my baby bear anyway). Food is definitely delicious, make sure you eat here so you don't miss out.

Yelp
Hidden gem hole in the wall Northeastern Chinese eatery with handmade noodles and dumplings! The menu offers great variety with generous portion sizes. I loved the Toothpick Cumin Lamb, Pork Intestine with Jalapeño and the famous Sweet & Sour Pork! The Salt & Pepper calamari was so so.

Brittany C.

Yelp
The food was absolutely delicious! We got the featured soup dumplings, chive and pork dumplings and toothpick lamb. Service was excellent as well!

Yelp
We have tried many Chinese restaurants in the East Valley. Somehow, we missed this place, and that is a shame. Can't wait to return! Started with the wonton soup, excellent and packed with the best dumplings ever. Had the vegetable egg rolls, average. Scallion pancakes, enjoyed. Juicy pork soup dumplings were outrageously delicious! Salt and pepper shrimp were perfect. Wife really liked her stir fried chicken. Brother's special pork ribs were okay, but not our favorite. This is a Mom and Pop operation, and they are friendly, terrific people. Our meals were fresh, clean and tasty. Can't wait to return and try some other dishes. If we lived closer, we would be regulars. I'm willing to drive for food this good!
google avatar

Yelp
I've been coming to this location for years now, owned by this chinese family, they specialize in dumplings as they are all made by hand. Ambiance is small and cozy, reminds me of a small local food spot in China. Service was good, brought out the food in good time and everything was clean. This is the closest place you'll get to traditional Chinese food in chandler. Definitely recommend.
google avatar

Jerry L.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in the east valley!!!! Their potstickers and dumplings are amazing!!!! Their Mongolian beef is delicious! Their C03 is one of our favorites. I love the down home feeling inside. It is just relaxing. The service is outstanding. When it's your first time the servers seem stand offish but they are not. I highly recommend this place.....JUST GO!!!!

Tom M.

Yelp
Absolutely fantastic! Never a bad bite here. Try the spicy fish - you'll be hooked for life.

Yelp
I wanted to give this restaurant more stars considering how popular it was but the wait was a bit ridiculous for my take out order and two dishes were really disappointing! Ordered pick-up at 11:20am and it ended up not being ready until 12:35pm. That's over an hour! I arrived at 12:08 and they said 15 more minutes. I was really hungry and frustrated. The restaurant isn't big and they seem a bit understaffed and disorganized esp during a busy Saturday lunch. There is a mix of Chinese families and others here so it seems to be enjoyed by all. As for the food, we ordered: soup dumplings, pork cabbage dumplings, green onion pancake, soy bean paste noodles, beef noodle soup, yang zhou fried rice, and yuxuang eggplant. Everything was great - not too salty or oily EXCEPT the noodles. Unfortunately they were so mushy - likely it was over boiled and perhaps because of how hectic it was maybe they left it in the water for too long. Sad because we love noodles. Lots of potential and would return to eat inside on a less busy day - we would try more things outside of the noodle category.

Mildred O.

Yelp
It's nothing fancy and it's located in a strip mall. This place gets very busy so come early to get seated. There's a variety of choices from traditional to clay pots. I really wanted dumplings, which they make. I loved the fried pork dumplings, the steamed pork and shrimp dumplings were just okay. The Kung Pao chicken and eggplant were both solid choices and came with rice. The food and service were also quick.
google avatar

Shawn S.

Yelp
This is my go to for Chinese food in Phoenix. I have to make the drive as there's not a lot of alternative options for good Chinese. Green onion pancake, fish in chili oil, Mongolian beef, soup dumplings, are all great choices.
google avatar

Ailin W.

Yelp
Really tasty food that comes out quickly. I can't get enough of the beef in chili oil! Always order the large size since it's more value. The rice is cooked to perfection and stands the test of takeout containers. The staff are very friendly and helpful. They are also quite efficient at taking phone orders. The interior is very warm and inviting.
google avatar

Jack F.

Yelp
Based on the reviews, we wanted to try this location. Easy place to find with lots of parking. Food is hit or miss, some traditional dishes are great and some are not to our liking. Overall, the food is tasty and we will come again.

Maria A.

Yelp
We love this place so much and have been coming for years! The best beef noodle soup and chicken fried rice , hands down! It gets very busy here but the service is fast and friendly!!! It's always worth the wait for my family.
google avatar

Adrian M.

Yelp
The orange chicken was cooked great with a little crisp however the orange sauce was a little bland. Fried rice is not an option with your plate unless you pay for the fried rice separately. They have coke products but are cans for $2.00 each. Service was okay and does have the hole in the wall type of atmosphere. They do have a large selection of dumplings. My daughter chose the pork dumplings which were great. Reason I gave a rating of 3 rather than a 2. I guess if you're in the mood for dumplings I would suggest trying them here.
google avatar

Ruben R.

Yelp
Great food, ok service. You come here for the food. Cozy hole in the wall, with limited seating and a loyal following. Ordered the soup dumplings, the house noodles, the small dumplings and the beef tripe, slices and tendon. My daughter gave it a 95 out of 100 and I give it a solid 90, points off for never refilling a drink during the meal. Food is real good. Go for the food.
google avatar

Honghui Y.

Yelp
I was delighted to discover this restaurant, which specializes in Northeastern Chinese (Dongbei) food near Phoenix! The food is absolutely delicious. Coming from New York, I wasn't expecting quality Chinese food in this area but I was happy to be mistaken in this regard. Everything tastes so authentic. I especially recommend the sour cabbage and pork dumplings, the Peking style pork (which comes with dried bean curd wrappers and scallions) and the stir fried bean curd with peppers - all of these dishes, by the way, are Northern Chinese classics and not items you'd commonly see being served at Chinese restaurants. Putting food aside, the dining experience here is also deserving of the five stars. The staff are all incredibly warm and welcoming. Service is quick and efficient. Last, the price. Everything is so affordable and the portions are generous. We spent $80 on a meal for three and that's with enough leftovers for a second meal. Highly recommend for anyone in the Phoenix area looking for quality Chinese food.
google avatar

Scott T.

Yelp
Since I moved to Chandler, I haven't found my go to Chinese restaurant yet... UNTIL TODAY. This place is money. Besides the tastiness of all the food, the owner is walking around talking to the guests and she is so amazingly cute of awesome: Great experience and incredible food. Don't let the outside of this shopping center fool you, this place is definitely worth a try
google avatar

Rebekah H.

Yelp
We always enjoy our meals at Chou's Kitchen. The service is always prompt and friendly. For our most recent dinner, we started with chive, pork, and shrimp dumplings which were perfectly steamed and wonderful. Next, we had salt and pepper calamari which is something we order every time we go; it's our favorite item on the menu. The beef with broccoli is always good - the beef is tender, and the broccoli is cooked well but still maintains some firmness. We also tried the shredded pork with garlic sauce, and we will definitely order that again - the sauce was tangy and spicy. We can't wait to go back and try even more items from this fantastic restaurant.
google avatar

Cdpinaz P.

Yelp
Best Chinese food in the valley! Noodles made from scratch, solid dumplings. Linda the server is great too!
google avatar

Cathal B.

Yelp
Still wonderful, I just love this restaurant. We went there on a few days before Christmas, it was completely packed, mostly Asian families - always a good sign about the food and authenticity. Due to how busy it was, the service was a little slower than usual, but well worth the wait, as always!!
google avatar

Elsie M.

Yelp
I usually go to the Tempe location but some friends of mine suggested I try out this location because they had said the taste wasn't the same. What we ordered: Spicy shredded potato - the spice and sourness of the dish did not balance out well, was lacking the sour kick this dish usually has at the other location. Cumin lamb - was too light in cumin flavoring, meat was also a bit overdone and tough. Stir fry Chinese mushroom over greens - you can never go wrong with this dish of bok choy and shitake mushrooms, a delicious classic. Steamed juicy pork dumplings - delicious as usual. Service was attentive and friendly. Food portions are generous and at a reasonable price. Solid place for decent Chinese food. However, I will say that if you're dropping by for a quick meal during a lunch break or on a time crunch, service can be a little slow due to there being only one server handling the floor.

Donald B.

Yelp
the Worst Chinese food I've ever eaten. i order kung paau chicken and it was horrible. It was greasy and bland. Kung pau chicken is supposed to be spicy and it was the blandest greasiest I have ever eaten. I ordered a coke and they brought me a can of coke not a fountain soda with refills. Tacky!
google avatar

Mae W.

Yelp
As a transplant from Seattle, I MISS the amazing Asian food we had access to-Chou's is by far the best of the area for filling that gap. The beef pies, & dumplings are my top favorites. Highly recommend if you're searching for that out-of-state authentic Chinese food that's typically hard to find in AZ
google avatar

Mark L.

Yelp
Very good authentic chinese food. The Cumin beef was especially good and something most places don't have. Recommend for a great lunch, just be mindful of the time as it gets crowded during the rush.
google avatar

Steven C.

Yelp
Service is quick, friendly, and fresh. They have updated their decors better than what it was before. Dishes are flavorful, not all chinese restaurants have that "wok" smoky taste. Underrated in my opinion.
google avatar

Philip E.

Yelp
Excellent service from entering greeting to exit thank you! Portions are large. Third time I've tried them, every time a success! Breading on multiple chicken dishes was perfect in my opinion, not over battered as I typically find. Thanks Chou's, very thankful to have you close to home!!
google avatar

Tammy W.

Yelp
Best Chinese food ever!!! Lots of awards. Impressive. Clean small restaurant. Killer service great music. Luv this place. I rarely give 5 stars.

Annie A.

Yelp
Best Szechwan chicken in the valley! Highly recommend! We travel from Apache Junction to eat here, never had a single problem.
google avatar

Joy C.

Yelp
The best authentic Northern Chinese food ever! Food was super good and the staff are super friendly. Small place kind of in a hidden area so definitely a hidden gem!
google avatar

Bill W.

Yelp
I'm not usually someone who gives 5 stars but this place really deserves it. Not fancy by any stretch but great food and great service. Located in a strip mall way back off the street surrounded by other restaurants is this unassuming gem. When you walk in you see plenty of "Best of" articles lining the walls. And what this place does best is noodles and dumplings. If you're looking for the combo lunch or dinner plate where each person orders their own meal and doesn't share this isn't that. Here it's family style. 10 or so dumplings to and order. Main dishes serve 2 normal adults. Average price for your dumplings about $10. Average entrees $13-15. We ordered the pork potstickers and steamed juicy pork dumplings to start. In the pictures they look like they might be kinda doughy. They're not. The skins are the perfect amount of noodle to meat. The meat in flavorful and not fatty. For an entree we ordered the spicy Szechuan chicken. About 2 minutes after we ordered it one of the staff asked if we had ever had that before. We had not. She said it is hot, very hot with many Szechuan peppercorns that numb your senses. Although my wife likes very spicy I'm more of a person who likes to tastes their food over the spice. So we decided to order the House Special Stir-Fry Noodles. A combination of shrimp, beef and chicken stir fried with house made fresh noodles. This dish definitely had that wok hay flavor that make Chinese food taste great. Great service, great food at a reasonable price. This is going to become one of or once a week go to places.
google avatar

Gabe M.

Yelp
House noods - tasty, and a lot of meat. Orange Chicken- the batter is good, not over cooked and sauce is amazing. Dumplings - so many flavors, and good taste. I will go back until I've tried everything!!!'n

Yelp
Delicious authentic Chinese food! Everything here always taste amazing! Check in on Yelp for a free soda! Steamed Juicy Pork Dumplings: like the name it was juicy and flavorful! Make sure to put the dumpling on a soup spoon and poke a small hole to let out the air before taking a bite! That way the soup will be in the spoon and it doesn't burn your tongue. Beef Pie: this were also very juicy. I think the wrapping was a bit doughy. Kung Pao Chicken: perfect amount of spicy for me! Great amount of chicken in the entree. Delicious with their rice! Fish Fillet in Hot Chili Oil: I always love this dish, but can never handle the mala flavoring. Here they make it a settle spicy taste and you can ask for it to be spicer if needed. The vegetables at the bottom of the pot is definitely spicer. This was my favorite!! Service is amazing! They are super helpful on recommendation. Great customer service! Would definitely recommend!

Osita M.

Yelp
A coworker recommended this place. Drove from tNorth Phoenix just to try this place out. Food and services were great! The soup dumplings are my favorite
google avatar

Yelp
We were in search of steamed pork dumplings and found that Chou's Kitchen had great Yelp ratings and as an added bonus, they were only a few miles away. Small business efficiently operated. We were greeted warmly upon arrival and lucky enough to be seated near where the hand crafted dumplings were being made. Such an art! We had steamed pork dumplings, pork fried rice, and garlic chicken. All were so flavorful, delicious! The staff is very attentive and polite. Just a warm, welcoming, inconspicuous place with fantastic food and a homey ambiance. Looking forward to our next visit!
google avatar

Greg M.

Yelp
Solid five-star rating. Enjoyed the pork soup dumplings and the orange chicken. Will definitely be back.

Yelp
3.5 stars! The buns are very good at this place! We loved the beef pie! I also liked the eggplant , perfectly cooked and tasty. Good service, reasonable price.

Unisha M.

Yelp
Our favorite Chinese restaurant in the valley! Our go to spot when we crave Chinese Szechwan style food. Our favorite from the menu has to be juicy pork dumplings, the cold noodles with peanuts and cucumber, spicy fish, Szechwan crispy chicken and mapo tofu! Nothing goes wrong with these items. The service is always nice and we are treated well every time we visit. The ambiance is nothing fancy. Simple seating arrangements with Chinese decor items!

Damilola L.

Yelp
My boyfriend has been a frequent customer of this place and he was excited for me to try it. The restaurant is on the smaller side and a casual dinning spot. It was quite busy when we went, even though it was a Monday around 1pm. I'm assuming the waitress was also the owner, she was very friendly and was doing a good job managing all the tables, with the assistance of one person. Despite being busy, service and food was relatively quick. The food was absolutely delicious! We ordered the beef stew with noodles, beef pie, pork dumplings and fried pork buns. Portions were large and shareable. The noodles and dumplings are freshly made daily and it does not go unnoticed. Definitely a new favorite of mine.
google avatar

Noah F.

Yelp
Wow, this place is amazing. They make their noodles and dumpling dough in house. Excellent house noodles, and the salt and pepper shrimp (with or without the shell) were great. Don't skip one of the 10+ variations of dumplings (which are 10 to an order, except the larger variety). Vegetarian dishes (egg plant, potato and jalapeño) don't disappoint either. Come for the food, return for the service - they treat you line family here.

Yelp
Fast, authentic, and exotic experience. We came in just 35 minutes before closing and they still accepted us in. We ordered our favorite dishes and asked for recommendations on the seafood. The waitress said that her favorite was the fish fillet with chili oil. Reminder: check into Yelp for a free can of soda Must haves: XLB- steamed fresh. Comes out pipping hot! None of the baos were popped. All the juices were still in. After 30 minutes, the soup inside was still there and still warm. Eat it with a hint of vinegar and ginger. Kung Pao-they perfected this dish. It's very flavorful. The veges are still crunchy and pair well with the chicken. It's spiced perfectly Chili oil fish- the fish is super tender. The mala spice was perfect for those who can't handle heavy spice. It's not very spicy by design. Very flagrant! Must must get. Nice to have: Beef pie- if I'm being extra critical, it's not my favorite. The beef is seasoned well and served moist. However the crust /dough is a tad thick for me.

Yelp
Came to get some noodles. Got the house special noodles, it's like a combo with chicken, beef and shrimp and noodles. I took the shrimp off. I wanted to get soup and did order it but they don't have the chips or crackers for it. Was upset about that, but hopefully they can get some soon. Lots of people did take out. The food is definitely fresh. Came out piping hot.
