Fergusons Downtown expands to add more dining, bars, and a skate park - Eater Vegas
"A sideways move into the 33,386-square-foot area once occupied by the original home of The Writer’s Block and chef Natalie Young’s fried chicken and Asian restaurant Chow." - Bradley Martin
Amazing friend chicken. Not Asian and Southern fusion, but great either way you go. I made my own combo and ordered the fried chicken and fried rice. Yum! Not really a pickle fan, but spicy pickles made fried chicken and cornbread even better. Definitely will be back when in the area.

Food was good. It's a chinese soul food spot. I don't think Vegas folks are ready for this concept. Cool atmosphere. Location is awesome, diagonal from a drinking hole and next too a book store. Eat, Drink, & Read all on the same date.

Interesting concept of dishes. Chinese southern influence. Had the general tso chicken dish and overall good breaded chicken. Just kinda lacked the southern flavor. Hot sauce tasted more like Chinese chili sauce. Owner is also the owner of eat. A popular brunch place downtown.

The decor is beautiful but the food did not meet my expectations. I love her other restaurant Eat and was excited about Chow opening up. The food is not as good as Eat I hope to come back and see it doing better.

I eat here all the time and it's always tastes. General chows chicken is my favorite. They also have a dirt pudding that's great. Well worth a trip!

Pretty much Everything we had was on point: shisito peppers, kinda Chinese riblets. Fried chicken really was the best in Vegas. Pork belly buns probably fav of those who in general aren't fried chicken connoisseurs. Great staff hip atmosphere, music 80s and 90s. Bad Mama Jama currently playing. Must try in Vegas and you won't play Strip prices
