Choy (Phuttha Monthon Sai 2)

"A little out of the way but this is one of the best kept secrets for roast duck with egg noodles. Try the signature duck noodles with shrimp wonton in Tom Yam soup. Choy is named after the owner; the duck recipe came from his father." - Michelin Inspector

Choy Peking Duck is a restaurant that has been consistently recognized by the Michelin Guide for several years, and it’s easy to see why. This place is famous for its perfectly roasted Peking duck, char siu (barbecued pork), and crispy pork belly. You can enjoy these dishes with either rice or noodles, making it a versatile option for any meal. In addition to their signature dishes, they also offer delicious fish balls and shrimp balls, adding to the variety of choices. The menu is impressively diverse, ensuring there’s something for everyone. To finish off your meal, they also serve a selection of desserts. If you’re looking for a place with a reputation for quality and flavor, Choy Peking Duck is definitely worth a visit!

Following Michelin’s guide, I finally try this restaurant when visiting Bangkok. The roast duck is quite impressive and the prices are very affordable. You can select the individual place or the sharing places. One extra special is the shrimp ball which is very flavorful. The fried platter is very crispy but can be little oily. The menu is Thai so it might be little challenging to order for foreigner but you can point it from the pics. The staff is very nice and dishes are served very fast. You might need to use the bus or drive to this area. Don’t forget umbrella and sunscreen in my country. Recommended to come and try if you love roasted duck.

It’s great HK style roast duck and noodle restaurant. Obviously, the taste is more catered for the locals, it’s a bit sweeter than savory.

Good Mee with BBQ Pork and roasted duck. Flavorful clear broth. Very crowded during lunch time. They have two other locations; one in town and other near Nakhon Pathom.

Love the Roast Duck and Crispy Pork. The place is inside the petrol station. No air condition. Open Space dining type .

Indeed deserved a Michelin bib gourmand. The Tom-Yum crispy pork belly and wonton soup is a big hit. The soup is real tom yum with packs of herbs and strong flavors. The pork belly is crispy and the wonton is aromatic along with the sizable shrimp. Other dishes like roast duck and fried shrimp balls are big hits as well. Definitely a place you can come back again for delicious food!
