Everything here was truly excellent — from the impeccable service to the warm, inviting atmosphere. The risotto with beer reduction, coffee powder, and Grana was especially memorable, easily the best risotto we have ever tried. It was also a pleasure to meet Chef Manuel at the end of the meal, which made the experience even more special. We will definitely be back!

We drove 2 hours each way to have a 7 course meal at Christian e Manuel. The entire culinary experience was perfect start to finish. We’ve all dreamt of visiting this restaurant for years. Our expectations were exceeded. We were a large group of 12 split between 2 tables. We also had 4 kids with us, one of the kids is a 10 month old baby. The restaurant was extremely accommodating and professional. Service was top notch. Our food was exceptional. Every bite was overwhelming knowing it would be years before I ever enjoyed something this delicious again. My personal favorite was each of the risotto courses. The care and expertise that went into every dish was mind blowing. Do not miss an opportunity to experience Christian e Manuel’s restaurant!

We had the 3 course degustation lunch, 3 risotto dishes. Absolutely delicious, added a dessert which was a licorice paste in a salad leaf, the description does not do it justice. OMG! The flavours were so delicately put together. It’s a destination restaurant, not for the location or the view but solely for the food.

Had a really incredible lunch here at Christian e Manuel's in Vercelli this month. Definitely make reservations through their website as this was the easiest way to get in. Since we were staying in Piemonte this was a great addition to our regional visit. Like other reviewers we picked the Chef's choice for our menu choice and were so very happy with every dish. We also ordered a bottle of Barbera wine which paired nicely with everything. Our meal began with a palate cleanser of potato and cod puree soup, delicious and then our appetizer had cauiflower, prawn and seafood consomme - YUM! We had two different kinds of risotto for first and second dishes. One was made with rabbit, carrots and other seasonal vegetables and the other was the famous, chocolate, coffee, truffle Omgoodness... I think I'm including most of what they included. It was so good. Like others have said, let them choose for you, you won't regret it. It was a pleasure meeting Christian e Manuel's mother and their service was top notch. This place isn't just some stuffy, Michelin-star joint – it's a risotto paradise with a serious dose of charm. We stumbled upon this gem thanks to our main man Stanley Tucci (you know, the guy who makes you want to book a flight to Italy every time he's on screen). Turns out, this place is run by two brothers with a passion for risotto that's downright contagious. Their story alone is enough to warm your heart, but wait till you taste the food! Forget everything you thought you knew about risotto. These guys are serving up a symphony of flavors that'll blow your mind. We're talking creamy, dreamy concoctions with everything from classic Parmesan to – get this – bone marrow! Yeah, you heard me right. Bone marrow. And trust me, it's divine. The service? Top-notch. Think professional but with a wink and a smile. These guys know how to make you feel like royalty without all the stuffy formalities. So, ditch the diet, grab your appetite, and prepare to be wowed at Christian e Manuel. Just don't blame me when you can't stop dreaming about their risotto afterwards!

Fabulous experience! A real highlight of our trip to Piedmont and worth the day trip by train from Turin. There are 20 types of risotto but we let the chef choose for us and loved what we had. Antipasti, pre dessert and main dessert ‘Paddy fields in winter’ were amazing too. Service was fantastic, led by the mother of the chefs. She even drove us back to the train station after the taxi she ordered for us cancelled our booking! First class experience. Michelin star is well deserved.

Christianne e Manuel Restaurant is a Michelin star Italian restaurant owned and operated by the Costardi brothers. The brothers who have deep roots in the Piedmont region of Italy earned a Michelin star for their risotto; as well as their delicious fine dining cuisine. Their restaurant is located in their family hotel (Hotel Cinzia) in Vercelli, Piedmont, the rice Capital of Italy and the epi center of rice production for the entire European Continent. Guests have a choice of a three or seven course tasting menu of entries selected by the Chef or can choose ala carte. For the less adventuresome and particular diner, I recommend the ala carte menu with entries prepared in a more traditional manner. If you choose the tasting menu, you must be prepared to step outside your comfort zone and experience flavors and methods of preparation that are unique and different and at times challenge what we are accustomed to. We had the seven course tasting menu paired with two bottles of Gaja, a white and a red. Some of the dishes were exquisite, and some were a bridge too far. Highly recommended. Reservations required.

Everything about our meal was total perfection! It will ho down as one of our most memorable meals of all time. Make plans to visit this restaurant - you will not be disappointed.
