We went on a Sunday to watch the game. Christian’s Tailgate has $2 mimosas & $5 Bloody Mary on Sundays! The crispy green beans were lightly battered and perfectly seasoned. The onions rings were also delicious! We sat on the covered patio and the best part is that there are tvs all around.

Sports bars rank among my favorite places. Even if I’m not there to watch sports, I like the casual atmosphere and the generous selection of beer common to most sports- centric establishments. One sports bar I have tried and liked is Christian’s Tailgate Bar & Grill. This Christian’s Tailgate location is on White Oak drive in Houston, and it’s one of several throughout the greater Houston area. The first thing you notice when you enter is the open floorplan and the obvious focus on sports. It truly is wide open, with an abundance of fresh air and there is no AC, just fans. That can make it quite toasty for much of the year. However, there is a second section in the back, complete with its own bar, that is climate controlled so you can move to this area if the temperature isn’t to your liking. The menu at Christian’s Tailgate features burgers, tacos, assorted seafood, appetizers like mozzarella sticks, fried pickles, truffle fries and more. I usually go for one of the burgers when I visit, and I usually leave feeling full and satisfied. The selection of beer is very good, too, which is another reason I like visiting here. They have plenty of options to suit whatever taste I happen to want. Sports viewing is the main reason people visit Christian’s Tailgate Bar & Grill. No matter where you choose to sit, you are within the viewing range of a television set or two. Besides the televisions, the walls are covered with beer signs, sports logos, and other things you expect at an establishment like this. I like sports bars and I like Christian’s Tailgate Bar & Grill on White Oak drive. It has most all the ingredients I like in a sports bar and this location is a nice one if you want to kick back with a beer and bar food while you watch your favorite sports team play.

Our BNI meets here every Wednesday and they have been incredibly accommodating! Diana and June are awesome, they are so easy to talk to and show us nothing but amazing hospitality. The food is very good and there’s usually a special going on. I ate it so fast I couldn’t take a picture fast enough. Highly recommend the truffle fries.

First-time visit. The pretzel was good, I got the BBQ bacon burger; the beef patty was saltier than McDonald's for some reason and cooked medium-rare, as if they were in a hurry to get it out the kitchen. I was surprised it didn't come with lettuce and tomatoes; I guess that's extra. I ordered fried Oreos—please change menu to have it say that they come with ice cream for those who can't drink milk, like me. I made it in time for the $3.50 domestic beer during happy hour but was charged $6. I would tell the bartender, but getting her attention would take another 30 minutes, even with light traffic at the bar.

I didn't have the food but my friend did. Wings looked good though. The drinks were really good! The karaoke was so, so much fun!!!! Frozen strawberry margaritas, really good. They weren't really loaded with liquor but they were decent. Probably would take 4 or 5 to feel it. I enjoyed them with way. The ranch water was great, pretty strong. All in all, the music and atmosphere was great!! We loves it!! Sports playing on all the screens around the entire place was a plus!

One of my fave places to catch sports and a cold beer in Houston! We have come here on several occasions and will keep coming back. It’s very casual and during some big games it gets packed and lots of fun.

The food was absolutely amazing! The chicken fried steak along with the mashed potatoes and fries were just the bomb! My waitress Lauren was amazing, so kind, friendly, and a joy to be around! 10/10 place, the atmosphere is awesome being able to watch all kinds of sports and events it really kills it with its vibe. Definitely recommend visiting if you need a place to drink a beer and chat it up with some friends.
