I recently visited Christie Cookie Co and tried the Southern Pecan and Snickerdoodle cookies. The Snickerdoodle was my favorite—soft, perfectly spiced, and with just the right amount of cinnamon sugar. The Southern Pecan was also enjoyable, featuring great chewiness and texture, but it couldn’t quite top the Snickerdoodle. While I wouldn’t make a special trip just for these cookies, they’re definitely worth stopping by if you’re in the area. The 12South area of Nashville is vibrant, filled with charming shops and delicious food options, making it a delightful place to explore. If you're looking for a sweet treat during your adventure, Christie Cookie Co is a lovely retreat. I recommend checking out the entire area for a fun day of discovery—there’s plenty to enjoy! Overall, it’s a nice spot to satisfy your cookie cravings while soaking in the local charm.

Not a bad cookie, but not the best I have ever had. Staff was friendly and smelled great.

Google
OMG! This is the place that makes those addicting chocolate chip cookies for the Double Tree Hotels. It's worth making the trek to buy their cookies. Everything was delicious and I brought home more as gifts.

Michael Parise

Google
It’s a Fakery! I Was so looking forward to this cookie, to be only left flat, it was a total waste of time and disappointment. We tried the chocolate chip (it’s a classic, how can you screw up a classic?) and it was like eating a cookie from Kroger, actually I will go as far as saying, it was the same dough they get frozen from any big box store. Never going back to this fakery.

Google
Awesome cookies and service was great, they had samples out and the girl gave us a military discount and they were giving out samples ( 1/4 of a decently sized chocolate chip cookie). Cookies were great and if I come back to Nashville I will surely come back!

RebeO

Google
I loved this cookies, perfect size and chewiness for me! My favorite was the macademia one.

Google
I recently saw this local brand at Kroger and bought a large package of cookies for $4.99. The cookies were delicious so I went to the 12th Ave location. I ended up paying almost $17 for six cookies. They're good... but not THAT good LOL

Google
Solid cookie. Got the southern butter pecan cookie. If you're in the area and want something sweet. Go for this. But nothing special to go out of the way to try.

Yelp
This was my first time hearing about Christie Cookie. I stopped in and was hit with the sweetest and most delicious smells. I opted for their limited time Lover's Bites (red velvet cookie) and the classic chocolate chip. Both were super great! Big fan of the texture- not too crispy and not too soft. The store is small an order at the counter and go enjoy your cooking while taking a stroll down 12th Ave S.
google avatar

Yelp
Stopped by while shopping in the area. The chocolate chip cookies were both crunchy and soft. Tasted yummy! Smelled good inside. Service was helpful and nice.

Yelp
OMG!!! These cookies are sooooo good!!! I couldn't leave town without grabbing more for my family to try. If you like a gooey inside and a little crunchy (not too crunchy) edge, these are for you! I bought Chocolate Chip and Southern Butter Pecan and both were amazing! The place was full of great staff and very clean. Parking lot in the back. Deals if you buy half dozen or dozen. Try these cookies, you won't be disappointed.
google avatar

Yelp
The smell alone is enough to tell you these cookies are going to be fantastic. The selection was amazing although I wish they had a gluten free option. My hubby and I opted for the 1/2 dozen to taste a variety : oatmeal raisin: peanut butter chocolate chip; chocolate chip and chocolate oatmeal and walnut . They were all nice and fresh and very soft. My fav was the peanut butter chocolate chip and my husband's was the chocolate/walnut. We will def try them again when we are in the area. Staff person was courteous but did not seem interested in our first time visit chatter.
google avatar

Yelp
I chose the snickerdoodle. It was a bit hard and dried out. My preference is a softer cookie. But let's be honest - I love cookies and this wouldn't stop me from returning. What an adorable location! Great service too.
google avatar

Santino C.

Yelp
Some of thr best cookies I have ever tried. I ordered a Chocolate Chunk and a Chocolate Chip cookie. Both were absolutely deicious!

Gooch From D.

Yelp
Placed an order for just under $500 for client holiday gifts, with delivery guaranteed before xmas. Noticed that there has been no movement or update provided on our order. Thus began calling and customer service, neither of which ever replied to any of our attempts to reach them. Keep in mind they have already taken the funds out of our account. As a last resort, called their physical nashville store looking for guidance. Was transferred to an overseas call center who did not speak enough english to assist. This is still not resolved, and we still have not received any assistance from Christies Cookies. You will see in previous reviews others have experienced the same. SCAM COMPANY ! DO NOT SEND THEM $$$ !!

Kimmy S.

Yelp
I've only tried rocky road and southern butter pecan! As much as I am a butter pecan gal, this cookie was not for me, it was not as flavorful as I would like it. Just tasted like a basic grocery store cookie (and yes I'm aware Christie cookies are now sold in grocery stores lol). The rocky road cookie was by far 1000% butter! Super cholately and yum!

Yelp
Christie Cookie is a cute little cookie shop in 12 South. You walk by the doors and the smell of delicious fresh cookies baking fills the air. They serve a bunch of different cookie flavors: chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia nut, oatmeal raisin, butter pecan, etc. Cookies are $2.50 each or $25 for a dozen. The cookies are so delicious, especially when they are fresh out of the oven. Parking is on the street or in the dirt parking lot in the back. The staff was nice. I would recommend this place to other people.
google avatar

Haniah G.

Yelp
Your grandma's chocolate chip cookie recipe won't come close to this. Best chocolate chip cookie I've ever had.
google avatar

Melissa M.

Yelp
If you ever find yourself strolling down 12th Ave, be sure to stop by Christie Cookie Co. Trust me, it's worth it! No matter which cookie you choose, you're in for a treat--each one is fresh, warm, and irresistibly chewy, just like the doctor ordered. While you really can't go wrong with any flavor, I highly recommend indulging in their classic chocolate chip or the delightful macadamia nut.
google avatar

Joseph T.

Yelp
These cookies are amazing! So soft, flavorful and huge! The person that helped me was very nice when I went and the whole shop smelt like cookies which is always a good sign. It reminded me of Ben's Cookies in the UK from how soft and fresh they were. I would rank this as one of my top 5 cookies for sure. If you have the chance to stop by, don't hesitate as I almost did and I'm glad I took the chance.

Yelp
E X P E R I E N C E we went in on a sunday around 2pm. there was no one inside. there's just a small space for you to order. no seating available but there are benches along the street! we took shade across the street at the jewelers. F O O D snickerdoodle doubletree: oatmeal and chocolate pb and choc (one order is two cookies) Southern pecan (my fave. tastes like banana pecan pie) white choc macadamia cookies were tasty! large in size. very soft, doughy and chewy texture. personally I prefer a crunchy crust and a chewy center but these were tasty nonetheless. we did see a fly roaming around in the store. cookies were uncovered. S E R V I C E the lady serving us was very friendly and immediately greeted us as we walked in. she was kind enough to give us some recommendations as it was our first time! P R I C E half dozen 12 50 (buy 5 get one free) plus tip

Yelp
Oh Christie, your cookie brings this boy to your yard. Forget the milkshakes ! Delicious, warm, oooey gooey rocky road cookies! Stop in get you some!

Yelp
Food (5/5 stars): If you're looking for a sweet treat on 12 South, go to Christie's. Their cookies were perfectly gooey and had nice chunks of chocolate. Experience (5/5 stars): * Price: reasonable and very worth * Wait Time: no wait on a Saturday night * Service: very friendly and great. They let us sample some cookies too! * Ambiance: it's a nice cookie shop! No seating but there are several places to lounge in 12 South
google avatar

Yelp
really good cookies... butter pecan: 10/10 okay i had a bad opinion of this place before i tried i'm not sure why. i think it's because they literally sell them everywhere and they look kind of stale to me and like a small normal (boring) cookie, but they are all DELICIOUS! i recommend the butter pecan cookie the most. i really like a soft cookie and these are nice and chewy and a great texture. usually i don't like to eat the edges of cookies and i prefer the gooey middle only, but these cookies are baked so nicely and evenly that the edges are very soft too! smells very nice inside and super cute stickers. cookies are 3 dollars each. i think they've been out of chocolate chip both times i've gone so if you want chocolate chip maybe go earlier in the day parking: this location has free parking for customers behind the building pretty sure they don't have a bathroom inside
google avatar

J B.

Yelp
Another must stop in Nashville! So this is the place that does the doubletree cookies. Yup. Do it.
google avatar

Lindsey R.

Yelp
If you've ever stayed at a Doubletree Hotel you've likely had one of their delicious cookies at check-in-- I just found out Christie Cookie is who makes them, and you can get them at their stores in Nashville! Located in a cute boutique shopping strip, the area as a whole is worth a visit, but especially Christie's Cookies. We came back again the next day because I just had to grab a dozen to fly home, they're that good!
google avatar

Jude N.

Yelp
They are honestly just overpriced and oversweeten cookies. Dropped by to want to order the Nashville spicy cookie and they didn't have it. Ended up ordering a brookie, which is a huge mistake.
google avatar

Mark G.

Yelp
Really one of the best cookies I have ever had. Tired the house special which was oatmeal with chocolate chips and the chocolate chip cookies. Soft with great texture (nut just melt away). You can taste the ingredients, so while sweet (it is a cookie) it's not just eating a sugar cube. Very glad these folks are nowhere near my house! But if they were I would be a retailer for sure! When in Nashville, this is a worthy stop for sure.
google avatar

Courtney L.

Yelp
Cookies smelled wonderful. I tried the white chocolate macadamia, chocolate chip, and house special I believe. They were all soft and just the way I like them. The girl helping me was very friendly. I would go back again for sure. They weren't something I will crave and go out of my way for but they were good cookies.
google avatar

Payal P.

Yelp
I am on vacation in Nashville with my partner. Walked in to try a chocolate chunk cookie. The chocolate CHIP has a toffee in it which is misleading because you can't really tell. A cookie is 2.50 plus tax
google avatar

Joseph U.

Yelp
My fav and friendly cookie shop to enjoy!!! I'll coy me back again. You gotta try the Doubletree Cookies cuz they're super delicious!!
google avatar

Melissa W.

Yelp
They make a pretty good cookie. I've been on the receiving end of these through the mail and enjoyed them. So when I was traveling through Nashville, I made a point to stop. All in all, they make a very good cookie. I have found another shop in Louisville (Penny and Pearls) that is the current "best cookie I've ever had" crown holder, but I wouldn't hesitate to send Christies as a gift. Thumbs up.
google avatar

Nicole E.

Yelp
I could smell the cookies without stepping foot into the store, they were calling out to us. It's a small store front, enough space for a line and a counter to order your cookies. The cookies are well displayed on cookie sheets and on a slant for easy viewing, even for the kiddies and vertically challenged. The cookies here are good, some of the best cookies I have bought. The original chocolate chip cookie is yummy and chewy and worth the carbs, so is the oatmeal and the Nashville spicy dark chocolate cookie with the heat hitting the back of your throat at the end of a bite.
google avatar

Austin G.

Yelp
Amazing cookies! The people were so nice and have an cute little shop on the corner. This place checks all the boxes, and have the greatest cookies I've tasted, for a good price as well. Make sure to bring in a report card, you get a free cookie in the summer!
google avatar

Katie B.

Yelp
Snickerdoodle always and forever, but don't sleep on Christie's Southern Butter Pecan. The smell is super intoxicating and will inspire you to order more cookies than you need, but it's a decision you won't regret.
google avatar

Laura T.

Yelp
They are ok. They are just cookies. Nothing special about them. They aren't bad but they aren't fabulous either.
google avatar

Maddie C.

Yelp
We LOVE Christie's cookies. I can hardly resist picking up a few everytime I walk by. The moose tracks cookies are my favorite, and my boyfriend always goes for the brookie. If you go right before close sometimes they'll give you extras.
google avatar

Michelle L.

Yelp
Tasty cookies. Had the nice crunch on the outside, chewy in the middle. Good ratios and distribution of mix ins too. Got a variety of cookies - buy 5 get 1 free. All were good, very classic familiar cookies. Chocolate chip, white chocolate macadamia, oatmeal raisin, snickerdoodle, and chocolate chunk.
google avatar

Marie M.

Yelp
Several selections of fresh baked cookies. Chocolate chip was ooey gooey as told to us. Raspberry filled shortbread cookie was a bit too sweet.
google avatar

Kiley K.

Yelp
Wow, I now get the hype! This cute shop smells delicious and is filled with a variety of cookies. I went with the "brookie" to get the best of both worlds, a $5 chocolate chip cookie layered above caramel and a brownie--that a was worth every penny! Can't wait to go back when I get my next cookie craving!
google avatar

Lauren R.

Yelp
Every cookie was soft and chewy and very delicious. I personally enjoyed the brookie - a cookie and brownie fused together with caramel. This is the perfect treat while walking around the 12 South neighborhood.
google avatar

Shirley C.

Yelp
Stopped here at ~8:30 pm on a Saturday night as part of a "dessert tour" of 12 South. Several of the items were sold out at this point, but I was still able to get something good. Also appreciated how, after I ordered my brookie, the worker asked me which one of the brookies in the display case I wanted. Now that's good customer service! Brookie: 5/5 As someone with a gigantic sweet tooth, I of course immediately went for the item that combines two desserts into one. Since we stopped at Jeni's later that night, I ended up eating the brookie the next day. Even a day later, it was absolutely delicious! The cookie layer on top was packed with chocolate chips and had the perfect chewy texture, the caramel layer in the middle was soft and the right amount of sweet, and the brownie layer on the bottom was chocolatey and fudgy (which I prefer over cakey). Overall, it was a literal brick of a decadent dessert!
google avatar

Becky D.

Yelp
ER MAW GAWD.... So.. I finally indulged in some of the cookies I bought Wednesday and WOW! They were so soft and flavorful. I saw this was a must try while visiting Nashville, specifically 12 South. I bought 5 and got one free. The variety they offer is outstanding! I settled for 3 chocolate chip, one peanut butter, one double tree oatmeal and one snickerdoodle. Prices were perfect! Highly recommend.
google avatar

Emily K.

Yelp
This place is super cute. They had free samples out. It is a little pricy though. It's $2.50 per cookie. I got a half dozen for $13. This definitely isn't something I would get all the time because of the price, but I thought I'd treat myself. I loved both the chocolate chip and chocolate chunk. I had to try the pineapple and chocolate chip cookie because I've never heard any like that. It was really good. The snickerdoodle tastes like every other snickerdoodle I've ever had.
google avatar

Josh V.

Yelp
Not bad cookies at all, but nothing special. Staff was rude which detracted from experience.
google avatar

Jessica Z.

Yelp
I've reviewed a lot of cookie places on here, but Christie Cookies will always hold a super special place in my heart! I grew up in Nashville and would often get Christie Cookies as a treat when I was out and about with my mom. The cookies were amazing then and still are to this day. I love this location in 12 South because it's really easy to pop in for a quick cookie while walking around the shops. There's also a big parking lot behind the building which is very convenient. I got two of my favorites - the chocolate chip and snickerdoodle cookie. The chocolate chip cookie has little Heath bar toffee pieces in it and is so so soft in the middle with the perfect amount of crunch around the edges. The snickerdoodle was similarly soft and delicious.
google avatar

Yelp
In the late 80's we used to catch the MTA home from middle school. Somewhere on Dr. Martin Luther King Blvd. there was a building who sold Christie's cookies. I still remember the nice lady who worked the register. Also saving .59 cents just to buy a cookie. After the nice lady passed out the personal sack with a Christie cookie and and half of napkin my next move was mapping my route down the stairs and maneuvering through the crowd to catch the next transfer. I don't remember ever missing the bus. I think my friend at Christie cookie made sure of that. I don't know if that's true but it makes sense. Anyway I brought some home to my daughter who's the same age as I was then. What she said was "those cookies are fire!!.
google avatar

Gracielle T.

Yelp
Stopped by on a whim and decided to take a piece of Nashville back to my family in Florida. They loved it! The peanut butter chocolate chip was my favorite. My kids loved the choc chip. Yum!
google avatar

Jamie P.

Yelp
This cookie was worth every calorie. I stopped inside on a whim and ordered two cookies- the Doubletree, which has chocolate chips, oatmeal, and walnuts and the Rocky Road. Doubletree definitely takes the cake as the winner. The combination of chocolatey goodness, the warm oatmeal, and walnut flavor really does the trick. Stop by and grab a cookie for $2.50!
google avatar

Jalyce M.

Yelp
I'm not a fan of oatmeal raisin cookies but after tasting one at Christie Cookie I drove back to have more. The cookies are moist, soft, and flavor filled. The flavor of the cookie pours into your tastebuds leaving you desiring more. Definitely a place you must try.
google avatar

Liz F.

Yelp
I always check out bakeries when I travel. I was staying in the area and knew I had to walk over to check this place out. White Chocolate Macadamia is one of my favorite cookies and I was so excited to try it. It was love at first bite!! The best cookie I've ever bought from a bakery. I went back the day before I left to get a box of cookies to bring home to family! Highly recommend. I will most likely be ordering online at some point as I can't wait til I'm back in Nashville to have them again!
google avatar

Paul V.

Yelp
Let me start off this review by saying that I'm a Hilton loyalist and have been for years. I spend maybe 30 nights a week in Hilton hotels and as a result, I've become partial to the cookies that are dished up at Doubletree hotels. I had no idea that these were Christie Cookies, but after a visit to the Christie Cookie shop in Nashville (1 of 2) I'm doubling down on my conviction that these are some of the best cookies you can find in the country. Star 1: How were the service and atmosphere? Both the service and atmosphere at Christie Cookie are excellent, and you've got a quaint shop with a broad but unintimidating menu and the cookies right there on display. We loaded up and were on our way. Star. Star 2: How were the portions relative to the cost? $2.50 isn't cheap for a cookie, but it was perfectly reasonable for these hefty sweet treat. Star. Stars 3 and 4: How was the food? My Chocolate Chip Cookie was, plain and simple, amazing, as were all of the other cookies that I sampled. My one regret was that they didn't ask me whether or not I wanted it heated up, which I would have insisted on given the opportunity. Besides that - perfect. Two Stars. Star 5: Would you eat here every day if you could? Without a doubt. Star.
google avatar

Chassie P.

Yelp
One of my favorite cookie stores in Nashville. They are known for their DoubleTree Hotel chocolate nut cookies flavors. Can't go wrong with any of the flavors. This location has a lot of parking in the back parking lot too. The staffs are always very nice! It's one of my togo locations when I am in Nashville for sure!
google avatar

Shawn H.

Yelp
Really outstanding cookies, particularly the chocolate chunk and sugar. We were kind of stunned how much we loved these.
google avatar

Emily H.

Yelp
Really good cookies!! Due to COVID we picked up at the window. Got a half dozen cookies and man, they were delicious! We tried the chocolate chunk, snickerdoodle, oatmeal raisin, and white chocolate lemon. Honestly, for a chocoholic like me, it doesn't get any better than a warm chocolate chunk cookie.
google avatar

Keith O.

Yelp
GO HERE! I came to town and we were driving by when I saw the cookie shop. I said okay this is probably an okay place with good cookies. I looked it up and they had great reviews, I hadn't really seen a cookie shop with that many good ratings. I decided to go in and both the staff members welcomed me kindly and asked what I would want to get. (I was the only one in there too. Good thing the rest of Nashville hasn't found this place yet, the line would be for blocks!) I got half a dozen and walked out. I got about one of both the chocolate chips and 2 double trees and others. I walked out after paying and took a bite. At that point I realized I needed another half dozen! I eventually got back in my car with a dozen AMAZING cookies, knowing that in the next couple days I will have the best desserts of my life! HIGHLY RECOMMENDED PLACE! PLEASE COME HERE! :)

Yelp
Lord have mercy! If you are seriously ever craving a cookie, this is somewhere that you need to be! Not only do you want to die just from the smell when you walk in, it's that good, the taste of these cookies is literally outrageous! I found Christie cookie on Yelp, driving from Huntsville to the Nashville airport and had to make a detour on the way. 1st of all the cookies are huge, like almost hand-sized. They're also so soft and totally fresh that it seems silly to ever make your own. Just come here! They are a bit pricey, but I have no issues paying for product that is made with all the best ingredients. I don't believe there is a military discount per se, but when I ask the girl at the register if they offered one, the lady that was working with her said to a give us a free cookie for our service. That was very nice and much appreciated.
