Christina's Authentic Greek Restaurant offers a warm and welcoming atmosphere, with friendly staff and truly authentic Greek cuisine. While some dishes can be a bit on the pricey side, the quality and overall experience make it well worth it. If you're craving a genuine taste of Greece, this place is highly recommended.

We stopped by here for early dinner before heading back to Ottawa. We appreciate that their menu has english translation, so it’s easier for us non-francophones. The food is great and portions are good for sharing. We particularly loved the baklava cheesecake! Staff were also very friendly and warm. Place is quite small, but has a cozy, homey feel.

If you're in the area, this is an absolute must! The moussaka was fantastic and the grilled octopus was BY FAR the best we've ever had... and we know a thing or two because we've seen a thing or two! 😆😉. (We've visited literally hundreds of restaurants in the past few years). Service was spectacular and friendly and we'll definitely come back.

"THIS IS GREEK FOOD!" 🇬🇷🇬🇷🇬🇷 Ladies and gentlemen hold your pitas, hold your tzatziki hold everything but your horses because you neeeeeeeed to go check out @christinascuisine. I've been here once about 8 years ago almost and again now, and I'm kicking myself to the moon and back that it's been that long. I'm already booking my next visit for after Easter because I'm already craving it! This has to be, and I can't believe I'm about to say this, probably my favorite Greek spot in and around the area of MTL. Outside of Greece, and I've been about 4 times, this has to be the best Greek around. Nothing fancy, nothing crazy pretentious like some other Greek spots in MTL, just great food, great people and a great time. If you look them up online they have a 4.8 star ranking eith over 1200 reviews and I really can see why! First let me talk briefly if I can about the pita and dips. Holy shit I've never had such amazing pita ever anywhere! I don't know where they get this pita or if they make it I house but my lord this makes for the perfect vessel for you chicken or pork pitas! Absolutely blown away. Now the dips... Everything was spot on perfect, loved everything about all of them and I normally don't even like Taramasalata but I think I've just been converted. Now on to what most people would consider the main event, the moussaka, or as I like the call it the Greek Sheppard's Pie. Honestly I'm not a fan of eggplant at alllllll! But again this dish converted me and hard 10/10! Now what i came here for because I'm just a simple man that loves simple delicious things were the Chicken Souvlaki and Pork Gyro Pitas! OMFG this pitas, WOW. If you can only manage to eat one, I'd have to go with the Pork but please don't sleep on the Chicken. Both were fantastic, again that pita is amazing, the tzatziki is amazing I've been having dreams about this place since I left and I can't wait to go back with the family and enjoy ourselves! FOODGASMIC 💦 a la max!

We had a family dinner here, and we're impressed with the quality of the food. Kalamaraki was outstanding and the marinara sauce was excellent. Generous souvlaki sticks and great gyros. Moussaka was rich and perfectly baked. Worth checking out if you are in Chomedey Laval!

Where to start? Walked in without a reservation, around 3pm. Ordered the moussaka and the souvaki combo platter. The moussaka was delicious and smooth. The souvlaki was cooked to perfection, you can taste the charcoal and the authentic flavours of greece. The baked potato however, takes the gold medal. I can't remember the last time i ate potatoes this good. Slightly citrusy and soft that it melts in your mouth. If you are looking for authentic greek food in Laval, this is the place to be.

As a Greek I have to say it’s mama’s food. Variety of cooked foods in the oven or pot, different every time. Better than many restaurants in Greece.

I can’t rate this place high enough. Was visiting Montreal from Toronto for the weekend and always had a great experience with Greek food in the city, but this place takes it even a step further absolutely delicious food authentic, and very similar to the motherland. Wonderful service and a great vibe overall. I can’t wait to come back.

Just the best service and even better food. Everything about the restaurant is a little Greek in a Canadian town. Decor is just so welcoming and homey. Highly recommend this restaurant will continue to go back as well.

THE MOST DELICIOUS GREEK FOOD IVE EVER HAD! I came here for my birthday because someone recommended it to me, it was absolutely worth the long drive! you really get an authentic greek experience here, the employees are super sweet too! We had what im pretty sure was the owner taking our orders and he was just delightful! overall i really recommend this place. :) (i ordered a chicken gyro plate with lemon potatoes)

They have the best pitas I've always ordered for take out but they have a small sitting area where you can dine in. I always take the Yero chicken pita when I go here, the sandwich is always on point, it comes with rice, fries and salad if you take the pita plate. I've been here a few times staff hasn't always been the friendliest. I guess it depends of the day.

I heard about this place a lot from friends and yelpers and I can't believe I've haven't gone to try this place out until last night ! We came in and it was pretty busy .. ambiance: it was very cosy and intimate I mean The place was jammed as there was a special event happening and the room temperature was super high it was hott in here but it was pretty nice to see families sitting down together and enjoying the food. We wanted to do take out since there wasn't much seats available to sit down plus it was a bit noisy and did not want to disturb the event. Service: Service alone was spectacular the lady at the front gave us all her divided attention. She greeted us and made sure to show us everything she had on the menu and i found it splendid that we could see with our own eyes what we wanted to order through the glass. Food: My husband has already been here and he said he only enjoyed the doner meat and he said it was fresh and authentic. We got different dishes to try and we realized the portions are way too big and generous but we now have lots of leftovers for a few days ahaha We got some Lamb, pastitsio, the Bifteki and with eggplant that comes as a side and oh yea doner pitas ... ok so it was a bit overwhelming as we ordered way to much food but in my honest opinion we came from far and I felt like giving everything a try. I have to agree the doner pita was Fantastic! It was fresh and tender and just deliciously juicyy bursting with pure flavour. The rest was Ok .. the pastitsio was my least favourite unfortunately it tasted weird.. it tasted like canned chef boyardee baked in the oven. It was a real bummer and the Bifteki was ok just not great it tasted like it was reheated twice not the freshness I expected. The lamb was delicious and the rice was amazing everything else tasted delicious and now our fridge is full of leftovers lol but I don't know if I can handle any more greek food for a while aha I was greeked out last night. Overall, service was super and the food was Okay ish don't know if it's worth the price .. a bit pricey..I'll definitely come back but just for their doner Pita ahaha just stick to the good stuff ! Very cute small place, They do the homemade dishes plus the regular souvlaki plates etc. I went there to eat the Gemista which I adored in Crete! It was delicious ! I took the vegetarian one! So tasty!!!! My boyfriend took veal stuffed cheese Ill order again whenever I want to feel in Greece! 5 stars, for the place, the food and the amazing taste !

Très bonne cuisine grecque, c'est la grand mère qui cuisine, J'imagine que c'est toujours elle derrière les fourneaux même si depuis la pandémie j'ai plutôt commandé à emporter et je n'ai pas trop vu les équipes. La moussaka est géniale ainsi que tout les plats d'agneau. Facile de contenter une famille de gens difficiles!

Christina's cuisine was a very pleasant surprise I came here with my partner to try some traditional Greek food and I wasn't disappointed. Felt like I was eating at my Ex's house who was Greek tasted like her grandmother and mother's cooking. The staff where maybe the friendliest I've gotten in a while. Took it to go because the place was really small. Definitely a must try

Amazing greek food with huge portions! We ordered meat platter for 2, enough to feed 6! Maybe coz we also ordered calamari and grilled octopus on the side. The order was ready on time and they were busy for suppertime.

She's my Gyro Christina's cuisine is a humble traditional Greek restaurant in The 450. Everything she touches is gold. Her hot meals show us how zi Greeks feast at home. A La Carte, you get all the classics like any typical Greek joint. Jacky had to have the Moussaka. Thick & creamy: Food coma alert! Make sure to get it all in 1 bite. Jacky loved the eggplant in there! The location & parking is no problem & the decor is modest & comfy. The service was filikós!Price is very decent too. A small little gem located in chomedy. A big variety of different greek dishes to select from and all very yummy. Really liked the roasted prok belly, it wasn't overly salty and the top was super crunchy. Mousaka was rich but not overwgelming. Eggplant with fetta was soso. The veal galette was not bad either. Next time i will try other dishes and gyros. The service was excellent and attentive

Oh where to start reviewing this little gem! I'm not greek so my Yia Yia doesn't cook Greek meals but if she did: it would taste like Christina's cuisine. It's a tiny restaurant where you have a bit of a diner feeling but it feels like eating at home. I have tried many things on their menu and as a Laval resident I'd say the competition is high for the best souvlaki but what makes Christina's different is their home cook style of traditional greek meals like their /pastitsio ! I MEAN WOW. If your grandmother 's tourtière would have married a lasagna that's what it would taste like. There's something Christmassy about this meal. It takes like a good memory! You'll have to try it to understand! I could talk about this place a lot cuz all their food is pretty great. I find it a little bit intimidating to go there as it feels like I'm the only person who isnt greek speaking in the place so I have learned a few words That I use when I order on skip! They are amazing there, you must try!

It was okay, but not more than that. I think I walked in with high expectations based on a friend's recommendation, so that may have contributed to my overall disappointment. To be honest, I think I'm probably not the biggest fan of Greek food, so don't base yourself entirely on me for this one. This place was recommended to me by a pretty good source who claimed they offer legit Greek food. I was a little turned off by the cafeteria style pre-made meals sitting on the counter in warmers, but decided to try the porc roast and moussaka, which I shared with my husband. Both were okay, but insanely heavy. We ended up leaving with lots of leftovers. The service was good and efficient, the prices reasonable and the place was cute. Overall I'd say if you're in this area, it's probably not a bad bet, but I would not make a trip of it.

I love this place. This is the real deal, at least in my opinion. They get busy, so you might wait, but that's usually a good sign. I'm told the owner worked in a local Greek supermarket running the prepared food section. Management told her to drop her quality to increase profits. She QUIT, and opened this gem a few blocks away. We need more people like this in this new world of the Franchise Restaurant garbage.

A very nicely set, cozy, authentic and clean Greek restaurant that I finally tried after reading all the very positive reviews here. A good variety amount of Greek specialty food from any food group your heart would desire, they have it. I'm not sure if I have anything valuable to add onto all the good reviews that I agree with over here but I'll go ahead and add a few lines just so.... ummm to feel important? Ok, so as you can see in the pic, I tried the stuffed peppers but I thought I'd made a bad choice from the first bite because the nice lady there recommended me to try their roast pork which of course I had to decline even after sampling a bite which I should admit it was awesome. I can be a very good decision maker sometimes. ‍ Yeah that's a facepalm. The dish comes with two stuffed peppers, stuffing is a mix of rice and minced meat along with three slices of Greek potatoes. Honestly, the dish is good generally speaking but IMO nothing to rave about. I found it lacking some punch bcs where I come from, dishes are bursting with flavours and spices. Taste is a tricky subjective thing, I'll leave it there specially for this nice joint. My only gripe was the price. For $15 plus tip and tax that comes to $20-$21, I think it's overpriced for what you get for whatever you see in the pic at a regular family run small place such as this that has neither exorbitant rent to pay nor the niche to be called an upscale restaurant. Will I go back? Definitely yes but definitely not for the same dish. I'll try their every other single dish I saw there today, I'm sure they're all tasty and authentic that worth trying. Will I bitch about the price? Yep you guessed right

I had the pleasure of trying this wonderful restaurant on a monday evening, the owner gave us a food tour of all the speciality made i house items... I strongly recommend you opt out for the usual gyro and souvlaki plates and move towards there cabbage rolls, mousaka... which was so flavourful a week later I'm still thinking of that wonderful dish. We sat down and there brought us a little sampler plate on the house, there was roasted pork, lamb with orzo and my personal fave bifteki, which was a veal patty stuffed with feta, tomatoes and herbs. Finally we ordered our dishes, I took the mousaka, which was amazing, the bechemel was so good and the eggplant was incredible... the portion was massive enough for 2-3 people. My buddy took the roasted pork with a bifteki and there roasted potatoes, a medium Greek salad which was so nice and fresh and not overly dressed. I can't stress the fact that the staff are super friendly and make you feel at home as soon as you walk through the door. I can't wait to go back and try some other great Greek dishes!

I loved it. We ordered the lamb plate with salad and rice and it was delicious. Very tender and succulent. The olive oil was so good. The waiter brought it to us in a small pitcher so we could pour it onto our salads and horta. It was sooo good and we were later informed that the olives come from Christina's tree in Greece. It was just so good and savoury. Everything even desserts are homemade and fresh. Definitely reccomend.

I love Greek food and this place serves more traditional dishes than the usual souvlaki or gyro. We were three and took the $50 combo where you can try three meats and three side dishes. The food tasted very good, but some dishes were bland, like the orzo and the steamed leafy greens. The staff was very friendly and service was great!

For once the 5 star "Woohoo! As good as it gets!" is a legit rating. Christinas Cuisine is one of my favorite spots to eat lunch and I actively attempt to go there once a week. Everything I've eaten there has been 4 stars and above with a few of them being outright amazing!!! WHAT A HIDDEN GEM! Yero pita (lamb/pork), souvlaki pita, Gemista (stuff baked peppers with meat & vegetarian options), Greek Potatoes..... everything feels incredibly home-made and authentic to Greek cuisine. I've brought Greek co-workers and they've loved it as well. They have a daily hot table with fresh food ready to jump into your plate after being warmed up for a few minutes, it's nice to see what the deals of the day are and they always hit the mark. It's like walking into your grandmother's home and having 10 different dishes you can stuff your face with. The staff is incredibly competent and efficient. Very friendly and they are passionate about their business. I highly recommend this place if you love Greek food or want to try it. Cost is very reasonable and of high value. 5 STARS!

First time here and the experience was very mixed. Obviously the owner cares about his menu and food, but the setup is very non-intuitive. You pay for the main ingredient (lamb, porc, pepper) but have no idea what it comes with. When we asked about several dishes, he clearly got annoyed, but this was his messed up menu idea. Forget switching his overboiled potatoes for a salad- not even an option. We settled on a menu item and one of those mystery plates. The food was rather bland, the hot peppers were tart and expired, very few dishes had much flavour. Compared to Marvins, Villa du Souvlaki and other greek institutions, this was a massive disappointment. Majorly overpriced given what you get. 5 star reviews are probably by friends and family. I give a bonus star for the owner seeming to care, but only worth 1 star. Not going back.

If you're down for Greek in Laval please do me a favour and head over to Christina's before going to souvlaki bar. The staff and service are great and the food is truly amazing some items on the menu are bit more pricy but the quality is definetly up there! If you don't feel like splurging (wich you should) ,a simple souvlaki ranges at 6$ wich is really affordable but most importantly comes with really delicious and fresh ingredients(that pita and tzatiki sauce) to die for !

I can't believe I haven't written a review about Christina's My family and I have been there at least a dozen times Excellent food Prepared by real greek ladies When they say homemade, they REALLY mean it There is no 1 dish I can recommend without insulting the rest of the menu Go, your taste buds will thank you

Everything I have tasted from here has been excellent. Some of the best Greek food ever, and I've been to Greece multiple times. My husband agrees with me and he's what I call "Greek from Greece" Honestly , anyone who gave this restaurant anything less than 4 stars knows very little about real Greek food or doesn't really care for the taste of traditional Greek food, cause this is EXACTLY what real Greek food should taste like.

If you.miss grandma's cooking then you need to head here asap. Home cooked food priced right. A weekly stop for our family. Amazing variety tailored to seasonal ingredients. Try and you will return I promise.

First let me just say thank you to my wife's, Greek co-workers for telling us about this place. What a fantastic restaurant. The owners and staff were so friendly and welcoming. They had toys for the kids. We told them it was our first visit, and they gave us such an amazing experience, that we'd go back for the service. Now the food was far and way the best Greek I've had. The selection was unbelievable: pastitsio, roast pork, drunken lamb, saganaki shrimp, calamari, cod, stuffed cabbage and that was only what we had... there was also stuffed peppers, moussaka, goat etc etc. Now I'm a fan of Greek food, but normally I find it can be overly oily and salty. Not here my friends. They have it down. I can't wait to go back!!

Great new greek resto in laval. Brings me back to the Hermes days in parkex. Excellent variety I tried 5 different dishes. All great. Just like mama used to make. I especially liked the roast pork which is their specialty. I will sure be back for take home food.

Cute restaurant and serves real traditional Greek food. The quality of the meals varies from week to week and depending who the chefs are. Seems a bit disorganized at times as employees seem to get mixed up often when serving orders to go (putting fries instead of rice when you asked for only rice for example). Service is quick though and I've never had a plate that was inedible. One of the hostesses that seems to be there more often than not is usually in a bad mood though so I will take my food to go when I see she is working the floor lol

The only authentic greek food in Montreal. Fresh food cooked daily, beautifully displayed in steam tables. Go up, have a look, ask questions, order what your eyes desire.

Oh my god ! That's all I can say . It's like being back in Greece. A family run restaurant, very clean , friendly and the staff is helpful and awesome . The place is small but call to see if there's any room if not the take out is just as good

My husband and I were in laval on business and decided to stop at Christinas Cuisine because of the position feedback on Yelp. We were so happy we did! Authentic Greek home cooking at it's best! We tried several items on the menu and have to say it was all A++. Our waiter was soo friendly and the service was fast. Greek paintings and greek music playing was the perfect setting to eat such a fantastic meal

This place is amazing. I recommend the roasted pork with the Greek potatoes. We also had the baklava cheesecake and it also was excellent. My kids had the souvlaki with fries. They really liked it and the fries are excellent.

I live right next to it a few blocks away and i love the food it's very good satisfying it's always fresh and I highly recommended it

Exquisite, I felt I was at my grandmother's on a Friday night after school. The food is delicious and the service is perfectly friendly yet not fake. Best Greek in town, order from the counter as hus is what Christina cooked for the day. Remember to ask for grilled lamb chops

Wow. First timer yesterday with wife. Feels like home, food is great. Home style feeling. Waiter really polite. Portions are generous. Found our Greek spot in laval. A definite place to go. Can't wait to go back.

Certain things we ordered were very good but certain were not so great. They do the best they can with all that massive selections of ready to eat food. We just wish they can downsize the menu a bit so they can focus on what they do well. Still have that home cook food comfort. And can someone please tell that poor nice lady chef to take a break!! She reminds me of my family who'd overworked in their 60s.

We're in town from the States, and were looking for a quick bite before an event at Place Bell. Following other Yelp reviews, we decided to check out Christina's, even though it is a bit off the beaten path. We're so happy that we did - the service was warm and welcoming, and the food was incredibly fresh, tasty, and most of all, authentic. Even our picky children gobbled up their meals, including the accompanying salad! Our only disappointment is that we likely will not have a reason to visit Laval again in the near future, so that we can return to Christina's!

Really awesome experience at Christina's tonight. We're semi-new to the area (1.5 years) and we've yet to find some restaurants that we really like.. This restaurant was so awesome- the food was DELICIOUS, very nice service, great atmosphere! Amazing!!! Highly recommended for awesome Greek food!!!

This place is like staying at your Greek grandmothers house. The food there is phenomenal and wholesome with a very nice atmosphere. You can buy a selection of Greek dishes to go, like stuffed peppers and spanakopita. A great place to grab a bite!
