Calling all Christmas lovers! This bar is a must-visit! With three festive floors packed with lights, garlands, and holiday cheer, it's a total winter wonderland. My friends and I went here on a Friday night at around 11 so yes it's crowded, and the line is long, but the vibe and amazing drinks make it worth it. We tried the Grinch Martini (perfectly sour), the Butterbeer Fizz (a sweet, frothy treat, perfect for gals who like their drinks extra sweet), and the Spiced Cider Sangria (warm, fruity, and spiced just right). Despite the crowds, it's a magical experience. Pro tip: arrive early and snap plenty of photos--this place is pure holiday magic!

Solid solid themed bar. The butterbeer fiz was really good. And goes down super smooth. The hot cocoa was quite nice but not into peppermint which they added. Overall it was packed , ~50 min wait time but worth going once during the holiday period. They also sell bites, freshly made popcorn and cheese ball with crackers were popular.

Solid 4 star review all around. Original idea executed with enthusiasm. Reasons for the 4 and not 5 star review: (1) after sampling many of their cocktails, the Ginger read Old Fashion on the menu was a total miss. Did not enjoy that drink at all and I typically love old Fashions. The flavors in this drink clash and it's served with lots of small ice cubes which water it down quickly and accelerate the displeasure of this already "meh" cocktail. I was not happy to have spent money on it. (2) Atmosphere is enthusiastically holiday with plenty of seating but the establishment needs to have bus tubs, water, and napkins more available to it's patrons to maintain a level of cleanliness. I'll also give a special +1 shout-out to the fir/ceder scented soap in the bathrooms for elevating that atmosphere in a subtle yet appreciated way. (3) Service would've been five stars if they had more people working. A three floor drinking establishment with only 3 bartenders and one bus boy working at a time results in long lines to order, and empties left all over the place. A simple uptick in staffing would solve this. Otherwise, overall, a comfortable, welcoming venue for those looking to soak themselves in the Christmas spirit. I'll be making this an annual tradition. Thanks!

I took my kid here for her 22nd birthday because she loves Christmas. It was the cutest Christmas dive bar! We did not get any food due to going to a bday dinner afterwards. Park by Molly Moon ice cream and walk 3 min! There was a paid parking lot. Loved the xmas vibes!

This was so much fun. The bar opens at 5pm (til late) they only serve specialized holiday drinks and I think popcorn? Not sure-we really wanted to see the holiday decors. It did not disappoint. Try to get there early as there are only 2 bartenders making all of your drinks, there will be a line to get in . Seating/space is limited and there is also some room upstairs.

This is a pop-up that is a fun place to go with friends to experience Christmas. This location is street parking only. The lines are LONG. We waited in line for a good hour at 6p in 39-degree weather. So dress accordingly. Inside looks like a Christmas wonderland with a full bar. They have a big screen playing classic Christmas movies on rotation. There is a decorative wall to take selfies with your friends. Seating is very tough to navigate, and most of the time, you're busing your own drinks. The festive holiday themed drinks are good, about $13 a pop. The bartenders are friendly and are good about moving people through. The popcorn was good, but there isn't any real food to speak of, so eat before you get here. Midas 4-stars for the experience but probably not something you do more than once.

Drinks were good and different than anything we had before. The line to get in was mild but it's freezing but we wanted to see the cute decorations bad enough to wait over 30 minutes in line. The girls behind the bar were fast and kind but I do find 8 dollars for a tin of popcorn to be a little much let alone not even being able to take it home with you if you don't finish it there. For 3 drinks and a jello shot it was about 50 dollars. Would come again and recommend it for the Christmasy feeling

Surefire way to get into the Christmas spirit! The environment is so cozy and full of holiday cheer and the drinks are delicious and served in festive glasses. It is very reminiscent of the Christmas party scene from the Grinch. 10 out of 10 would recommend.

Yelp
OBSESSED! I've been wanting to go to a Christmas themed bar for years and the Christmas Dive Bar exceeded my expectations. Such a fun experience! Walking in, it look like a Xmas explosion. It was early in the evening so there were a lot of open tables. However even if they ran out of tables downstairs there's seating on the mezzanine and upper levels. I ordered the Christmas Cactus cocktail from the Naughty List. It came in a huge cactus mug and was very strong ;) All of the Naughty List drinks looked good TBH. Our bartender was cool, service was quick. Great atmosphere. IG worthy photos. Highly recommend.

Yelp
Maybe I went on a bad day but I had rude service and very overpriced drinks. Hot chocolate and hot cider came in packets and they charged $15 for them. The spiked hot chocolate was not drinkable and there was a strong flavor I could not tolerate. When I approached the bar staff to politely request a replacement or adjustment, I was met with accusations that I had consumed most of the drink, which was untrue, and the bartender referred to me as "dude" in a dismissive tone. While I understand that policies are in place, the situation was handled in a way that felt unnecessarily confrontational and unprofessional. Don't come here. Would not recommend!

Yelp
Fun environment during the holidays. 3 levels of seating which get packed the closer it gets to Christmas. Drinks are ok. Very gimmicky which is fine for the theme. Try it out if you happen to be in the Capitol Hill area.

Yelp
Cool Xmas-themed dive bar located in the Capitol Hill neighborhood in Seattle, featuring funny-ass drawings outside that have been covered and ridden with humorous graffiti/profanity. Definitely worth checking out if you are in Seattle! They also serve bar food and have good service too.

Yelp
Oh what fun it is to ride and sing in a bar called Christmas Dive! So we had a free evening and decided to stop by here with our daughter for some early Christmas fun before she headed back to school. We read about this place and it sounded like a blast so we got all dressed up in our Christmas Cool Finest and made our appearance. There are a lot of decorations throughout this venue (normally called The Woods). There are bars on the first and third floor and the staff was super cool and happy. Each floor was different with the first one being the largest with a ceiling three stories above you. The second floor called the Chug N Cheers Chalet was like a mezzanine level with limited seating and prime people watching below. This level had a more cozy vibe. The third floor called the Sleigh N Sip Lodge was where we got our drinks. The line was short and moved quickly. The drinks were very festive and served in unique barware and had very appropriate names. There was a real fun and party atmosphere that night, but hey, it was Saturday night, that makes it alright so what have you got to lose? (that sure sounds like a Prince song!). A fun place to dress up like an elf or Santa or a Christmas tree and enjoy the night.

Yelp
I mean, the drinks aren't your specialty, masterfully crafted cocktails with niche ingredients and flavors, but they're strong and do the job. Let's be real, you're probably there for the vibes than the drinks anyway. Love love the holiday atmosphere, the decorations are top notch and gets you in the Christmas spirit! Very nice little touches - for example, the cocktails were listed on the "Naughty List" and the alcohol-free and lower percentage drinks were on the "Nice List", which I thought was funny. There is also a winter chalet upstairs that's more intimate and on the quieter side. I'm glad I got to visit, it's very festive and fun, but the drinks are pretty mid. Definitely pay it a visit though, it's a seasonable pop-up bar so I imagine it won't be here for very long!

Yelp
CHRISTMAS DIVE BAR! Fun atmosphere, Christmas music. 3 levels of themed seating (3rd level is only open weekends). Open 5pm to "late". For a Thursday night it was open til midnight LOL. Located in Capitol Hill, was the perfect place to take our group. Drinks aired more on the expensive side with cocktails being around $14-18. Will come back!

Yelp
The christmas spirit is present here. Love how the space is an interactive, open spaced, easy order up & self serve bar offering quirky drinks and small selection of food items. I got the cheeseball and meatballs and while i enjoyed the meatball, i was not a fan of the cheeseball and triscuit. I for some reason thought it was a fried cheese ball type of a dish meanwhile it was literally a ball of hard cold cheese covered in almond slices with crackers. The triecuits tasted like cardboard to me (im sure they are healthy!!!). The drink selection was good, i really liked my butterbeer fizz from the naughty list. Quirky menu, tons of photo ops, friendly staff, little difficult to get good seating on first floor compared to third floor (second floor was closed due to private event), this is a great bar to get into the spirit with this time of the year. It also brought back good old days when the space used to be Grimms.
