25 Essential South Bay Area Restaurants

"The South Bay is a coffee destination all in its own right, and Chromatic Coffee on Lincoln Avenue is happy to remind any non-believers of that fact. The shop was founded by Bay Area-born-and-raised Hiver van Geenhoven and is the ideal place for honey-processed, anaerobic single-origin Ethiopian coffees. If that’s a bit too esoteric, fear not as Chromatic also sells pastries and hosts pop-ups including HashnDashSJ." - Paolo Bicchieri, Cathy Park

Meet the South Bay Roaster Importing Coffees as Rare as a Holographic Charizard Card | Eater SF

"Opened on October 13, 2012, the San Jose roaster and café has from the start brought ultra-rare, award-winning coffees to the South Bay specialty scene. I’ve watched it source Cup of Excellence–winning lots (including a Gesha peaberry varietal that retailed for $31 a bag) and pay premium prices—commonly $16 a pound in 2021 and up to $65 a pound, plus as much as $120 in shipping—to secure exceptional beans. The shop forges direct relationships with farmers and cooperatives (even partnering with Port of Mokha to sell Yemeni beans) and, if asked, will put customers on the phone with producers; the focus is always on where the coffee comes from and the origin story, rather than flash. You can order rare offerings online—right now Luiz Saldhana’s thermal-shocked Brazilian beans are about $25—or pick up anything from a careful pour-over to a yeoman’s vanilla latte at the small Lincoln Avenue outlet, which has a DIY, industrial aesthetic. Early releases like Holy Mountain nod to pop-culture influences, while staples such as Finca San Jose from El Salvador keep regulars coming back." - Paolo Bicchieri

Beer Behemoth Anheuser-Busch Is Selling Its Oakland Plant and Laying Off 142 Workers | Eater SF

Coffee Tasting L.

Google
As an enthusiast of light roasted specialty coffees, i thought this cafe/roaster was good but not great. Their coffees had great descriptions on paper, but when I tasted them, they were brewed to be more heavy in body and sweetness (and resulting slight bitterness) for my taste. It’s just a matter of preference. Many people like this style of coffee. They use a flat bottom brewer for their pour-over which tends to emphasize sweetness in the coffee. The staff were very nice and the pastry I had was delicious. The cafe is in the back part of an old-factory type building. The decor was minimalistic and hip/modern but had now windows which made the atmosphere feel a little dark. The high ceilings help though.

Google
I really dig the vibe of Chromatic. It's in a big industrial warehouse-type space, and has a lot of space for seating and just enjoying your coffee and food. The space also has some cool merch, nice music, and various coffee table books on offer for you to read while you relax. The staff were quite friendly, and the coffee and food was delicious. Can't really say I have any complaints. Cool coffee shop with a unique vibe. Definitely recommend checking it out if you're in the San Jose area!

Google
In my opinion the best coffee roaster in San Jose. Their roasting program is top notch with a wide variety of origins and processes - something for everyone. They make good espresso drinks too. Located inside of the same building as Hapa’s brewing. Use the entrance near the corner of Lincoln and Auzerais, follow the signs and go straight in and make a right. Chromatic is the first unit on your left behind a big barn-style door

Google
Chromatic coffee for the lack of a better word is hip Cafe done right. Of the many Coffee shops that aspire to be in this category, majority of them get everything right, but the coffee. This is not the case of chromatic. As I walked in, the barista took time to explain the various kind of coffee is that they had and allowed me to ask questions. I went with a medium roast, and the coffee was truly phenomenal. Far cry from anything you get at any of the chains. I originally wanted to just get a cold brew which I have to be honest is a little expensive for just being a cold brew but then I decided to take some coffee beans as well, and they told me the cold brew is complimentary if you buy coffee beans. Win win. The cafe itself is located within warehouse of sorts and is extremely industrial looking. The space itself is huge inter spread with couple of metallic desk and chair. They had some food items as well, but I did not try any. You can buy coffee beans, T-shirts, and even colouring books. They are not cheap though. Even if you just come here for the coffee, you’ll have a good time.

Google
A different vibe and a unique warehouse coffee setup. Their ambience is great with ample sunlight but it was a bit hot and I wish they good AIr conditioning. Their service was cool and we tried their banana latte and vanilla latte along with coconut custard and banana cake. The vanilla latte was good and refreshing. The banana latte was interesting and was a bit too strong for me. The coconut custard pie was good and I wish they served it warm. The banana cake was all great but I felt it was a bit too sweet. Overall an interesting experience.

Nazanin R.

Google
Great coffee and a nice environment. We tried latte and dark coconut mocha, which were both delicious! Will definitely come back. It would be possible to order online, skip the line and just pick up your order. They sell packs of coffee beans with different flavors such as berries, peach, plum, chocolate fudge, etc. I suggest trying their delicious pies, too. They are from Sweet Dragon and Starter bakeries.

Areli L.

Google
I was in the area and looked up coffee shops- this place had rave reviews. I was outside looking for the entrance, and a lovely gentleman showed me the way. All of the employees are friendly and welcoming. Their recommendation, based off of what I normally drink, was the Dulce de Leche Latte or coconut mocha. I chose the Dulce de Leche Latte. It was fantastic!!!!!! The flavor was just right and the temperature was perfect! I’d say it’s even better than blue bottle in Santana Row. Fabulous coffee shop.

Google
Tried this spot since it was recommended and wow 👌I love the atmosphere here and the vibe they created from decor to the design itself. Loved the croissant and cranberry scone and the mocha is chefs kiss 💋 highly recommend this gem 💎 🌟🌟🌟🌟🌟

Yelp
I've been coming to Chromatic Coffee for a while and love their coffee and beans, but this is my first time leaving a review. Today, we tried the dark chocolate mocha and the pumpkin pie latte. The pumpkin pie latte was one of the best I've ever had! I got it with oat milk, and it was perfectly balanced, not too sweet, rich with real pumpkin flavor, and just the right amount of spice. Service was great, too. Even though there was a line, we got our drinks quickly. The café has plenty of seating, and many people were studying or working when we visited on a Monday. I also loved the space! They had fun coloring pages for kids, puzzles, and a cute merchandise section. I spent some time exploring while waiting for our dinks. I cant wait to come back and try their other signature drinks next time!

Yelp
Found my new study cafe in San Jose Food: Excellent variety of diverse pastries (e.g. black sesame loaf) that are also gluten free and/or vegan. They also have small lunch/snack-ish bites like chicken pot pie -- savory and sweet options! I recommend taking the pot pie home and heating it up though; this easily elevated the pie by a thousand points. Espresso was delicious. Service: Kind and helpful staff! Ambiance: Spacious set-up of chairs/tables and excellent lighting. A couple of outlets. Bathroom in the building. Lots of local events/pamphlets for resources posted at this establishment! Parking lot with limited spaces, but a parking lot nonetheless!! I'm so happy I came across this place; it can be really difficult to find a good study cafe w/all of these key amenities.

Yelp
Love the vibe of this place! It's very open and pleasantly different. The cashier was helpful when answering questions about their coffees and made great recommendations. The Americano was smooth and tasted great. The coconut mocha latte was spectacular - the right amount of everything. The berry pie was also very tasty. I'll definitely be back!

Yelp
I've been to their old location and enjoyed it so I wanted to check out this spot. I came here with one other person in the morning for just some basic coffee. I got their drip and it was just right. I ended up chilling here for about an hour. They have plenty of tables and chairs and WiFi. I love their artsy design and open feel. Its a great spot to work or meet up with someone.

Yelp
There used to be more Chromatic locations and now we're down to one but I'm so glad this spot is open because the dark coconut mocha is my favorite drink ever! Came in on a Monday morning and there was a minimal wait. There's lots of seating inside and it's a nice environment to work in. They also have a good selection of pastries available. Got the dark coconut mocha and it never disappoints, just the right amount of sweetness!
google avatar

Yelp
Came here on a Saturday with my boyfriend after searching yelp for a nice coffee place. The place itself is really cool and chill, and was not overcrowded. Looks like it's part of a warehouse with a bunch of other stores, and there's a lot of parking around the perimeter. We got two pies, the bacon, onion & cheddar and then raspberry & mango. Both were really good, our favorite was the bacon, onion, & cheddar. My boyfriend got a hot dulce de leche latte, and I had an iced banana latte. The dulce de leche was sweet and had a very smooth foam top. The banana latte was very banana-y, and not that sweet. Definitely a different take than other places. Overall, a nice place with cool vibes! Personally would come again for the dulce de leche latte and the bacon, cheddar, & onion pie!
google avatar

Raymond M.

Yelp
The dulce de leche and mocha latte's were mid. It did not have a rich and bold flavor as I expected. Friendly customer service. Limited parking. Clean establishment. Inside seating is available.
google avatar

Erica E.

Yelp
This place has such a cool vibe in an industrial building. I was a first timer checking it out and they were super helpful while I picked out my drink and pastry. I was bummed that they were out of their seasonal drink, but that just means I'll have to come back. I got one of their cold brews and a stone fruit hand pie. I'm in heaven!
google avatar

Deborah L.

Yelp
update! Chromatic now has tons of indoor seating space! Still located in the same warehouse but moved just a few doors down. I think it now makes their space more inviting and will hopefully draw in more customers as it's transitioning into a great space to sit and work (free wifi) & really enjoy your drink~
google avatar

Mina H.

Yelp
A cool spot with an industrial interior. You can def feel the heat in the summertime and cold in the winter time. Overall ambiance is quite chill. I tried their latte and it's not bad. A good spot if you want to catch up w friends or work on your hw. Definitely will recommend for other people.

Yelp
Not me rolling up in Chaco sandals and lightweight clothing while everyone else here is looking like as if it's still Christmastime lol. The coffee shop is inside what looks to be a former construction warehouse and it has zero insulation and zero heating. Super chilly!! Props to the commited dude who was studying in a puffer jacket. Anyway, I got an iced dark coconut mocha with almond milk. Smoooooth. Very easy to down and it's also pretty strong lol. The coconut taste isn't as aggressive like in an Almond Joy, but there's enough of it to give the mocha some slight extra flair. Also snagged the China - Gui Ben Honey coffee beans, ground in-shop for Aeropress. Really spot on with the flavor notes, especially the apricot and caramel!! Seems like there's a high turnover of coffee bean bags here since while I was shivering me timbers waiting for my order I saw a staff member re-stock the bean bag shelf and another staff member assist a customer on choosing a bag. Highly recommend checking this place out if you're a coffee bean bag fiend. Really friendly staff! So, reaching here is a little confusing; enter from Lincoln Ave. but the entrance and parking are facing Auzerais Ave. (there will be non-parallel-parking spots).

Yelp
This was my first time visiting this Chromatic location. It's spacious and has a cold industrial feel. If you plan on sitting indoors on a winter day, bundle up! Plenty of parking all around the shared I ordered an americano. I ordered an americano. Their espresso was good just like I remember it. They sell lots of yummy treats and pastries. A great spot to enjoy a small bite and good quality coffee!
google avatar

James C.

Yelp
This place is tucked away in a multi unit storage looking building. I've lived across the street for a year and just discovered it! The pastries are good but they can't warm them up. The cold brew was great. I saw people in line buy beans to be freshly ground and they got a free cup of coffee along with it. There's not a ton of seating, but it's a nice little shop with great coffee. I'll be visiting more often :)
google avatar

Ariel L.

Yelp
This place has such calming, relaxing vibes. As soon as I walked in, I saw a coffee shop, not a bakery or restaurant, just real coffee. All of the employees are friendly and welcoming. I told them it was my first time there, they asked for my usual order, based off of my answer, they gave me two recommendations: the Dulce de Leche Latte and the coconut mocha. I chose the Dulce de Leche Latte. To my delight, it was the perfect temperature. I happily sat down to enjoy my Latte. I'd say it's even better than blue bottle in Santana Row. I'll definitely be coming back.
google avatar

Candace C.

Yelp
Had this spot bookmarked for a while. Quality coffee that doesn't break the bank. Lots of beans I wanted to try and seating inside if you wanted to color (they have crayons and coloring sheets if you want to unplug) and enjoy their music on the speakers. No upcharge for oat milk and my Cortado was perfect. Would come back for a pour over if I had more time. Service was kind and quick.
google avatar

Ron P.

Yelp
Cafe in a pretty cool building with industrial vibes. Had to stop by with all the rave reviews. I got my go-to order of an iced latte and theirs was a bit light on the strength, which was ok.
google avatar

Kate A.

Yelp
I found the place on the top coffee places list in the Bay to try. The coffee is good! The location is quite spacious but a bit chilly inside. The staff is friendly and nice. Parking was full when I arrived but there are a lot of parking spots behind the building. Wi-fi is available, you need to scan qr code to get the password. The Chromatic Coffee place shares the same building with the brewery and pinball.
google avatar

Clarizza A.

Yelp
Got the dulce de leche latte and it wasn't too sweet which is great! Service was good and there's a good amount of seating inside
google avatar

Emile T.

Yelp
A great cafe with great vibes where one can try delicious, single origin coffee. Coffees here are consistently delicious. Baristas are kind and courteous. One of our drinks came out not tasting quite right, so we asked to have it remade, and it was done with no problem at all. A small bakery offers artisan pastries that can be heated. It's a nice cafe with plenty of open space and tables. They also have a unique shop for artisan coffee, chocolate, books, and gadgets for coffees.
google avatar

Lanette L.

Yelp
Been wanting to try out this place for a while as I have been hearing good reviews about this place! My first time here was a bit disappointing because the espresso tasted sour and it felt like it was under extracted, but at least the flavors made up for the sourness taste! This cafe is inside a warehouse, which is a pretty interesting concept. Parking here is very limited so be sure to plan out where to park!
google avatar

Gabby O.

Yelp
Finally got around to trying Chromatic Coffee! The location is interesting but parking was quick. The cafe has plenty of seating too. In addition to their regular menu, they also offer banana drinks, including the Banana Latte and Banana + Cold Brew. I got the banana cold brew and it was so good! I've tried banana lattes from other places and while tasty, I prefer Chromatic Coffee having the banana mixed in with the coffee. I believe they use oat milk for these items. My order was ready quickly! They sell pies from Sweetdragon. I got one to take home. I'd definitely come back for the banana cold brew or to try some of their other drinks!
google avatar

Mary F.

Yelp
I finally stopped by yesterday since I was in the area and I'm so glad I did! I went around 8:30am on a Sunday morning and there were only a couple of other people there, so I was able to walk around and look at all of the swag and decor they sell! It's a very cute space inside of a bigger building, so while you might see the sign from the outside, you'll need to walk through a couple of hallways to get there. I had an iced almond milk latte and it was once of the best ones I've had! I saw they had several unique pastries available as well, but I didn't have any that day. I'd like to come back and try them another time! The service was fast and friendly, and there is a parking lot outside. I'll be back!
google avatar

Michael C.

Yelp
Pretty cool spot. Airy and basically in a warehouse, with a decent amount of seating. They're doing construction on part of the space; not sure if they're opening that to the public, but if so, would make it a ton larger. My takeaway is that the beans they roast are solid, but the actual cafe there is pretty mediocre. There was certainly a decent amount of customers there on a Sunday, but my cortado still took 15-20 minutes to come out. By the time it had come to me, it was room temperature, which I'm very not used to and disliked. The espresso also felt under pulled, as it was very acidic. Overall, might be back for the beans, but probably not to actually get a drink!
google avatar

Antonio A.

Yelp
A few weeks ago, I had the chance to visit Chromatic Coffee, which has been my favorite coffee shop since before the pandemic. They recently moved to a newly renovated spot within the same warehouse in Willow Glen, and the new space looks fantastic--check out the photos below! This time, I enjoyed my go-to cold brew, which never disappoints. Even though it was a busy day, the service was quick and genuinely friendly. Chromatic continues to deliver excellent coffee and a great atmosphere. I can't wait to visit again!
google avatar

Love K.

Yelp
Chromatic Coffee is located in a large warehouse which gives off a rustic look. I ordered a Vanilla Iced Latte with oat milk and loved every sip. Drinks came out fairly quickly and the staff was quiet yet friendly. They do not offer straws which was a negative for me... however, they did mix my latte for me so the sippy cup did just fine. Cheers!
google avatar

Lisa N.

Yelp
My brother raved about the quality of the coffee here and I have to agree with him! The location is kind of odd but the space is very open and has adequate seating if you want to catch up with a friend or get some work done. I got the iced vanilla latte with oat milk. The drink was so creamy and well balanced without being overly sweet. I'll definitely be coming back
google avatar

Karissa M.

Yelp
Only in San Jose for the day and heard good things about this place. Thankfully, it def lived up to the good reviews! Their coconut mocha latte special tastes exactly like an almond joy and is so delicious! The coffee is smooth and the industrial warehouse vibe of the building is pretty neat. I would highly rec.
google avatar

Abby C.

Yelp
I've visited this place countless times and I am pleased with the quality and consistency. I'm not sure what beans they use but it's such a treat. Their dulce de leche latte is so tasty and not too sweet which I love. The staff are all great, I've never had a bad experience. There's so much seating here, I would definitely come by to read or hang out with some company.

Jasmeet K.

Yelp
I had asked for a seasonal drink -pumpkin pie latte and it was very watered down. I had asked for them to add some creamer or something to make it more coffee and less ice flavored. She told me she would charge me extra for espresso shot but I didn't ask for extra espresso shot just to make it more flavorful. She remade it for me and it was worse than before. Bad coffee and bad customer service
google avatar

Nikkie M.

Yelp
I came here missing the coffee I had here a year ago. It's still just as good. I'm a big coffee lover and their drinks are very rich in flavor. The searing area was very spacious and I like how it has a warehouse vibe to it. Parking was tough tho because it's a very small lot. But it's worth staying around a for a couple hours. The baristas were pretty nice and kept the place organized.
google avatar

Jennifer W.

Yelp
This location is inside a warehouse complex, so nice airy and chill vibes. Chromatic itself has a very spacious area but not that many seats, so you may have to venture out into the complex for seating if all the tables are full. Coffee menu is fairly simple with the typical lattes plus rotating seasonal items. There's some pastry options to eat, but not really anything for a full meal. Staff was friendly and efficient at churning out orders. Fair price point like most craft coffee places in the Bay. I'd come back if I was in the area again. The complex structure also had parking all around it, so didn't have to worry about that (try the back & side if none available in the front).
google avatar

Judy M.

Yelp
I love indie coffee roasters. I hope they don't go the ways of selling out like some other Bay Area originated roasters (iykyk, like the one from Berkeley, and at least a couple from SF). Meanwhile though, please do come here and support this local coffee roaster. I recently came by and treated myself to a specialty latte and bought a bag of beans for my every day consumption, and they gave me a card to redeem a free regular coffee for my next visit. If you visit on a Friday morning, you might be lucky to find a pop up breakfast sandwich in front of their parking lot. You should definitely try them along with your cup of chromatic coffee.
google avatar

Isabella A.

Yelp
Chromatic has been one of my top South Bay coffee shops for three years & running! I love their seasonal drinks & always look forward to what's next! The quality of their coffee is extremely good & reasonably priced in comparison to other shops in the area. It can be tricky to find the spot as they are remodeling, but they have signs posted as well as indoor seating. I will say that I always have to allot more time when I visit because it can take longer for my drink to be ready, but I appreciate their service nonetheless! Selfishly, I do wish they opened earlier than 8am but I still make the trip when I can! Right now, my favorite is the Banana Latte (tastes like a coffee banana smoothie!!!)
google avatar

Lisa M.

Yelp
This was a lovely coffee spot find in San Jose! I ordered a cold brew, which there were 2 options for, something I always appreciate. The barista was able to share some insight on both blends and was super knowledgeable. The cold brew was bright, strong and delicious. They have a wide variety of beans, some are a little pricey but there are also some great blends that are a little more reasonable, something for everyone. The atmosphere is industrial, very light bright and airy with some great tunes on in the background. I'll definitely go back if I'm in the area!
google avatar

Sonia V.

Yelp
What a cute little coffee spot! The worst part about this place is trying to find parking on a Sunday. The building is shared with other businesses so the lot fills up quickly. They have this awesome little table where you can leave business cards and flyers, etc. which is really neat! Music playing, a selection of coffee goods to purchase, coffees and baked goods available as well. I've been told they changed things up and now there is more seating area so if you need a cute little spot to study or do work, this is it! Tried the espresso banana oatmilk latte! It was pretty good except, if you are cautious about your sugar intake, I probably would not recommend it. If you enjoy banana, then I would definitely get it. It was delicious! I was expecting one of the little books to cost a fortune as well, but was actually similarly priced to the Amazon price of it (Yeah, I checked! I wanted to see how much it was upsold for).
google avatar

John B.

Yelp
I was honestly disappointed with my coffee. It just wasn't that good. But the shop and the building it was in were so cool and so very "coffee house" that I was able to let it slide and I enjoyed myself anyway. And the fact that I got to hang out with my lovely wife and my sweet kids made a less than steller coffee place much better.
google avatar

Mariana D.

Yelp
If you're looking for a cool spot to explore, this place has to be on your list! The shop has a spacious, modern vibe with just the right touch of hipster charm. Shop has great lighting and a laid-back atmosphere that makes you want to hang out for a while. The staff was super friendly, and when we couldn't decide what to order, they jumped right in with a great recommendation. We ended up trying the seasonal pumpkin iced latte made with graham cracker-infused oat milk (yes, you read that right!) and it was incredible. Totally worth the visit, and now I can't wait to go back and try even more from their menu. If you love discovering hidden gems with unique drinks and good vibes, this is your next stop.
google avatar

Ellen S.

Yelp
location is relatively easy to find though it is in a more industrial area. It's also a non descript building. but the coffee is amazing! I ordered the tangerine dream which is their seasonal cup and it is incredible. It's tangerine, espresso and oatmilk served over ice. It's refreshing, tart, tangy, creamy and dreamy. I want to go back for more while it's the summer special. My hubby ordered the latte and it's bold still. many places it seems like lattes are watered down due to lack of quality espresso shots or too much milk. Not here. Service is friendly and speedy. A gem
google avatar

Estée L.

Yelp
Great coffee. My brother, a coffee enthusiast, loved the espresso and pour-over selections, which was a huge ego boost for me. We happily left with several bags of beans :)
google avatar

Yvonne F.

Yelp
Chromatic has always been one of the better local coffee spots in San Jose, but over the years, I've noticed a decline in both quality and service. Regardless of how busy it is--whether there are just a few people waiting or a larger crowd--my latte consistently takes 10+ minutes to make. My boyfriend finds this frustrating, as a 'quick' coffee run often turns into a 30+ minute visit. While I do enjoy their coconut mocha, I'm not a fan of their drip coffee--it tends to taste a bit sour to me.

Carl D.

Yelp
Great coffee, friendly staff, relaxed atmosphere, and tasty fruit pies. Was slightly surprised that the pie was cold. Tasted great and had a crust grandmother used too make Also fun to walk around the old warehouse and see the other businesses. I need to go back when the pinball place is open.
google avatar

Sarah R.

Yelp
Drove from Hayward to try the banana latte and was not disappointed! Absolutely delicious and super cold which I really appreciate! Love the location & that they are dog friendly. Very friendly staff as well. Can't wait to come back!
google avatar

JayJay L.

Yelp
Excellent coffees, pastries, they are single origin roasters. Friendly staff. Located in a historic or former canning factory. Seating indoor and outdoor.
google avatar

Samantha F.

Yelp
Cute coffee shop within a warehouse that houses cider, brewery, & pinball. I loved how spacious, airy and sunlit the place is. I suspect I would have fared better if I had chosen a coffee. Their London fog latte was so so and seemed watered down. Kudos tho that the barista knew what I was asking for! For my friend who got a hot chocolate, they included lovely coffee art!

Rob M.

Yelp
Sour. SOUR. S O U R. I really have not adjusted my palate to coffee this sour. I saw a bunch of people in the store, and a line at the counter the whole time I was there, so a lot of people like this. I did really enjoy the cup of sparkling water I got with my single-origin espresso, that was a nice touch, and it cleared the palate of the painfully sour espresso I got. I have never puckered so hard before. I thought the batch brew was pretty unpleasant, with traces of durian fruit and oxalis grass, but that was nothing compared to the discomfort of the espresso. I ended up tossing the batch brew, espresso, and the 10 oz bag of beans into the garbage. Just undrinkable. But clearly, I'm the odd one out, with all the people moving through the store, so to them and future customers, enjoy! A lot of people really like their stuff. If you're like me, you'll never go again, but that's me, not you. Cool joint, friendly tho busy staff, excellent vibe. Coffee not for me.

Yelp
Cool local coffee shop in a business / industrial area on the outskirts of Willow Glen. Parking in back. Large common space building with multiple tenants, Chromatic being one of them. The latte was really good as well as the mango pastry from a bakery right down the street but sold in the shop. Industrial,l and modern aesthetic which I really like. We will definitely be back because there doesn't seem to be as many independent coffee shops around here and the product was good!

Yelp
Finally getting around to this review, I came to Chromatic coffee a few weeks back! I tried their Dark Coconut Mocha and it was so good!! If you are more of a sweet coffee person I would recommend the dulce de leche latte! Very unique location and I love the ambience of the place. Unfortunately the seating area was closed when I came in so we sat on some tables outside of the shop. But the highlight of my trip was the Barista giving away free coffee beans to their customers! Such a sweet way to give back to your community and not be wasteful of product.

Yelp
I love buying coffee beans from here when I'm in the mood to explore distinct flavors. The Honduras Rosé from Hidardo Hernandez, an inoculated aerobic honey process, is a standout! It brews beautifully as a drip coffee or an AeroPress Americano, bringing out its spice and citrus notes. Honestly, the flavor profile is so unique--it literally tastes like wine! Highly recommend for adventurous coffee lovers.
