Seattle’s New Restaurant Openings

"The folks behind Chu Minh in the International District opened a second location of their vegan deli in Columbia City. The new walkup window has a smaller menu focusing more on Vietnamese iced coffee and bánh mì, but you can still expect to see the restaurant's signature spicy tofu and plant-based meat imitations. " - kayla sager riley, aimee rizzo, gabe guarente

The same perfect flavor and amazingly friendly service as the original location, but with a bit of a more modern look! The spicy tofu sandwich and the spicy lemongrass chicken are some of the best sandwiches I've had! No exaggeration! As always, can't wait to come back!

Went to Chu Minh Sandwiches and Coffee for the first time. This place is strictly vegetarian options and as a meat lover, this place is truly amazing! My husband is a vegetarian which is why we chose to place to give it a try. We got the BBQ pork Banh Mi Sandwich. Super delicious, full of flavors, and cooked to perfection. Also, outstanding customer service!!! Highly recommended!!! Love love love it 😍!

Super fast and friendly! I got a spicy tofu banh mi that was good - full of pickled daikon and carrot, cilantro, and all the good stuff. While I was waiting they gave me a free spring roll that was really tasty too. Everything on the menu is vegan. I also appreciate the Egg Rolls mutual aid group work. Thanks for all your support and delicious food!

I was on a walk and stopped in finally after passing the cute pictures everytime. I did not know it was a vegan restaurant so I was pleasantly surprised! Their bread is so crispy and the fillings are so flavorful. The portions are decent as well. Definitely will be back!

Really nice to have a big variety of vegan/vegetarian options in the neighborhood. Service is quick, prices are fair, and owners are friendly. We enjoyed the mapo tofu & spicy tofu bahn mi, and will return to try more of the vegan meat bahn mi options

Stopped by to grab a quick bite - had the Pad Thai which was made fresh and thankfully not too sweet! They gave me an egg roll while I waited which was also delicious. Did take out but I think there's a covered place to sit in outside.

Amazing food, friendly service, and a cute environment. Love the nice covered seating area and the adorable artwork done by a local artist.

8$ for eggrolls that were precooked and stone cold. At least warm it up. Sandwich was average at best. Worst of all, you can only order on a machine and it charges a service charge. The only reason I'm giving this place 3 stars is because they help the community.
