"Tucked down a little alley, this shop always attracts a long queue of office workers and shoppers at peak hours. Behind the glass wall by the entrance, chefs are busy making dim sum, dumplings and noodles to keep pace with the piling orders. Regulars adore their beef pancake roll and red bean paste pancake that are golden and crispy. Moo-shu fried noodles made with freshly made knife-cut noodles are also popular." - Michelin Inspector

Good local spot, huge portions. Affordable prices. Seriously, if you're eating solo like I was, stick to maybe 2 dishes at most. The staff looked at my menu sheet funny saying this is a lot, and asked if I was sure. I should have listened. Still good though. Tasty, but I found it pretty greasy honestly. But hey - fat is flavour right?

This famous restaurant used to be closer to the Nakayama MRT station, moved to this new location in 2024. Always a line outside during the chow time, after tried this place for the first time, now I understand the reason. Great value for money and all the dishes were amazing, the soup dumplings were a highlight for me, so juicy and sweet and seasoning was spot on. Knife sliced noodle made their noodle dishes tasted even better because of the chewy, Al dente texture. Lastly their spring onion pancake... Man I will say no more, you go try to find out. This is the place where I will happily bring my overseas friends to have a taste of Taiwan.

I love this place. My all time favorite place to get vegetable dumplings + beef roll. Their fish roll is also good. I’ve also tried their veggie roll but I think it’s too heavy on the sauce and a bit too sweet. I’ve also tried their noodles which was good but I probably wouldn’t get it again. I consistently go back despite long wait times because their beef roll hits the spot every time. Definitely get there as early as you can or prepare to wait a while.

Pot stickers and beef burrito are a must!! I recommend to arrive a bit earlier than opening time so you can get a table right away. The staff was very friendly and helpful despite the store getting busy since opening time.

The place is not difficult to find. The staff are friendly and can speak english too, they will help you out with the menu. I recommend their pot sticker and scallion pancake. Best value for money and big serving. There will be a line since it is a popular place and you will be told to wait for 20 minutes but we only waited for 10 minutes. The travel going to this place is really worth it.

Went on a Saturday afternoon at around 12 as a solo diner. The lady at the front told me it would be faster if I ordered takeaway. So I did but I still waited 20 minutes. I saw the solo diner who came after me already got seated and I was still waiting for my food. That was a bit annoying. I should have just waited for dine-in, because take away definitely reduced the flavor of the food. The soup dumplings were definitely one of the best I had with a lot of soup inside and very flavorful! That’s the 4 star. However, the beef roll was probably the worse I had, probably a 0 star if I can give it. Recommend you to NOT order that. It was soggy and the beef in there was super thin. Basically I felt like I was just eating a soggy mushy pancake. I threw it out after a few bites because it was disgusting. What a waste of my money.

Was looking for Xiaolongbao and spotted this local restaurant within walking distance from Taipei station. Waited for about half an hour to get in. Was totally worth the wait! Xiaolongbao TWD80/6pcs The Xiaolongbao wrapper wasn't the thinnest but slightly chewy and springy which didn't break easily. Slurped out the hot soup from the sides of the dumpling and enjoyed the juicy and savory pork. So delicate!
