Delicious experience at Chubby Cattle! Everything was warm, flavorful, and perfectly cooked — from the shrimp tempura, wagyu steak fried rice, tom yum and miso soups, to the eel sushi, sesame rice, egg tart, and so forth. The plates were spotless and easy to cook on. Big thanks to Alex and Emma for their outstanding service — attentive, kind, and fast. They truly deserve special recognition and pay raise soon! The beer and ice cream (mango & coconut) were such a thoughtful touch. The restaurant is clean, relaxing, and has an upbeat vibe — perfect for family or friends’ gatherings. Highly recommend! The food was so fresh and good!! They gave us a whole plate of beef (pic 1) before we started ordering and all the beef on it was great quality!! It’s different from other Chubby Cattle for its flat but lower price, and is definitely worth it! The waiter is also so nice and serves us great!

The food isn't bad, and the sushi is up to par. The prices are pretty simple. No fuss! Best of all, you don't have to worry about flagging people down, you just order on the tablet! Their Wagyu Bibimbap (비빔밥) was a little gimmicky, but maybe if I come back, I'll try the original, just to add some veggies to balance out everything else. I DO like the fact that their booths are high, so despite the place being cramped, you do get a bit of privacy at least. Pro-tip: If you order their 비빔밥, make sure that's in the first order, because it'll take a while. If you're thinking of ordering it to top everything off, you'll be waiting for a while. They make it fresh.

The service at this location is awesome! Everyone was welcoming and nice. The service is fast. You can really taste the quality in each bite of meat. The price is unbeatable for ayce wagyu! I really recommend coming to this location

Tiny location, One menu only. I guess this is a smaller place than the other chubby cattles. They didnt have the different Tier menus. We paid $70 per person, under 5yr old was free. Food was good, but since they were busy, it took them quite some time to bring out our meats. We could only order 6 items at a time from the tablet. We waited about 15 minutes from our first batch of meat. That ruined our appetites early since we just sat around hungry waiting for more meat to come. Tables of 4 people only, they will split your larger group to other tables. It was our first time and we did like it a lot.

Wonder services and unlimited supply of top quality Waygu! There are also many side dishes available for those who wants non-beef items.

Chubby Cattle’s wagyu BBQ is one of the best dining experiences I’ve had in a long time. The beef is beautifully marbled and melts in your mouth after just a quick grill. Every cut is fresh and flavorful, and the variety of meats and sides keeps the meal exciting from start to finish. The staff are attentive and make sure the grill is always clean and ingredients are well-stocked. Highly recommend for any BBQ enthusiast.

Far and away the best meal I've had in LA for beef lovers in my 30 years of living. $65 for great Wagyu and amazing service is can't-be-beat value. For reference, my favorite meal was $60 AYCE in Osaka Japan and that's my favorite meal ever. Chubby Cattle dining experience and food is absolutely in my top 5 meals.

I have heard such great things about this place and really wanted to like it. It's definitely not a cheap dinner and not really close to us so we saved it for a time when we wanted to splurge or was in the area and I can say I'm a little disappointed. The quality of meat is great! That I cannot deny. The menu was very confusing- we had 3 people explain it to us 3 different ways and I guess I still misunderstood it but it was fine. The soda was supposed to be included but it was low on syrup and when I told a random waiter walking by he just laughed and said "oh ya we're out" without even looking- which tells me they've been out for awhile? Or maybe they're just always out since it's suppose to be included? It forced us to order beers which took forever to come out and when it did it was warm. The chefs cooked some of the meats for us but not others - which I wished they would just either let them cook all of it ourselves for cook it all for us because we weren't sure which ones were which. The buffet dessert/sides part was okay, seemed like it was out all day. Overall disappointed, especially for the price, the quality of meat was good- but that was about it

I had such a great experience at Chubby Cattle in Rosemead honestly one of the best hot pot spots I've been to in a long time. From the moment we walked in, the service was warm, fast, and super attentive. The whole vibe is clean, bougie, and everything feels fresh and high-quality. The broths were rich and flavorful, and the ingredients were extremely fresh the meats, seafood, veggies, noodles, everything. You can really taste the difference. The wagyu and premium meats literally melted in my mouth. The dipping sauces and seasonings were on point too, so you can customize everything exactly how you like it. I also loved how everything came out quickly, well-portioned, and beautifully presented. The staff checked on us often without hovering, and they made sure we had a great experience the entire time. We left full, happy, and wanting to come back again. If you want great food, great service, and a fun dining experience, Chubby Cattle in Rosemead is 100% worth it. Highly recommend!

Took my fiancée here for a birthday dinner because we were in town for a sporting event nearby. Pretty small location, but the food and vibe was great. Food (4.5/5) - Only 1 set menu at this location at $65 a person, way smaller menu options than other locations. Regardless, the food mostly was still amazing after trying basically the whole menu lol. Stand-outs def being the short rib, marinade pork belly, beef tongue and the cow plate they bring out initially. We tried a handful of sides, most just being ok besides the wagyu rice (great) and corn cheese (duh). Service (4/5) - The ice waters we were served had a strange chemically type taste, when replaced they were fine (i saw the water pitcher with cut fruit in it so idk what went wrong) other than that, it was busy when we went so the service was spotty but fine, didn't have to wait any outrageous times for new orders. Ambiance (5/5) - They nailed the decor for this small location too, themed beautifully with extremely comfortable table arrangements. Great ventilation, no smokiness. Lively, upbeat place to take someone for a celebration or a good night out for sure.

Tried Chubby Cattle Rosemead and the experience was overall what you'd expect from the brand--excellent meat quality and great service. Everything was fresh, well-prepared, and the staff was consistently attentive, just like at their other locations. The main downside is that this location doesn't offer the same variety of drinks and desserts that places like the Little Tokyo location have. For the same price, I'd hope to get the same selection--if not more. I might come back because the quality is solid, but honestly, for the high price point, you can get better overall value at other Chubby Cattle locations. Still a good meal--just not the best version of what the brand can offer.

Absolutely delicious and great service. Only one AYCE menu option here unless you're here Monday-Thursday for the lunch special. Be warned: your 90 minute limit is dining time, not ordering time, so your last call will happen earlier than you expect! Plan accordingly ;) The salmon carpaccio is surprisingly great. We should have ordered 4 of these, one for each of us. My only regret. Otherwise the beef tongue, wagyu steak and wagyu ootoro was great. Super high quality meat and so tender and juicy. The meal gets topped off with ice cream for dessert. I came here to eat a chubby cattle and left chubby myself.

I heard so much about chubby cattle and was so excited to try this place out for a night of celebration. I love how they automatically order a large platter of variety of cuts to start off. It helps you guide which cuts you like so that you can order more. Ordering on the iPad was also convenient so that you don't have to flag a server down to order more. Even though you can order a certain number of items at once and there's a cooloff time, we found the food to come out fast and never had to wait too much. You just have to be good at managing time cooking versus ordering! The meat quality is good quality, I especially enjoyed the beef tongue! I enjoyed the marinated meats initially but I think I would stick to their plain meats. Their sushi and carpacico was so good, definently do not skip out! Lastly, they give out complimentary icecream, which was so good! The restaurant itself is smaller than I expected, probably on the smaller side of restaurants out of all the Chubby Cattles. Nonetheless, I enjoyed the ambiance of the restaurant, our table felt isolated and never too crowded.

This location does have less of a selection of sushi than Rowland Heights location, BUT they serve lunch! You only get 1 brisket per person for lunch, but they have other unlimited options that no other restaurant can beat for quality vs price. Everything from their beef to their sushi is A+. After hearing about it for a long time I finally got to try Chubby Cattle recently. The Rosemead location is tucked away in a plaza with plenty of parking. We were seated very quickly and handed a tablet to order food from. There is a limit of 6 dishes every two minutes which is plenty of food. They started us off with the A5 Miyazaki's secret which comes in a cow shaped platter. The service was very good, the servers came around frequently and discreetly to fill our waters and replace our grills. The meat was super fatty so in the beginning we struggled cooking it because the flames would shoot up from the grill, but our server helpfully suggested we place the fattier pieces near the edge of the grill. And voila! Problem solved! We enjoyed our meal, but the fattiness of the meat was a bit overwhelming for us towards the end, so I recommend having some kimchi and tomatoes as a palate cleanser. Though I did find myself wishing they had the pickled radish slices often found in kbbq places. At the end of the meal they came by with some melon bars for dessert. I wad very satisfied. Glad I was able to come by and check this place out!

Today was our first time visiting Chubby Cattle. Initially I was a little skeptical about all of the fantastic reviews, but it lived up to all the great press! The portion sizes are perfect to allow you to try a large variety of their menu. All of the servers are super attentive and personable. The meats are super high quality, extremely fresh and flavorful! Even all of the sides are tasty and better than I expected. I was exceptionally impressed with their stone pot bibimbop. For the meats, the marinated skirt steak was my favorite, of which I think we ordered 6 of them! My kids loved their desserts; the Swiss roll, egg tarts (super hot and fresh), as well as the Melona ice cream bars. Once your place the order, the servers are super quick in having your dishes out. The only thing I wished they had more of was space. The booths are a little cramped for a party of 5, and the restaurant seems to have difficulty accommodating larger parties, but we will definitely be back!

First timer here. The staffs were super kind and helpful and professional. The ambience is nice and cozy. This place is clean and especially the choices of items they have on hand is so great! I love their beef tongue the most and the wagyu Octoro is a must get! I would recommend this restaurant to anyone, love this place!

Seriously had to dock a star cause the bathroom was filthy and smelled like a public porta potty. You know you're here for the meat, a good time, and hopefully if someone at your table has membership, then also a good deal. You have about 2 min between each order. You can order 6 items at a time (includes beverages as in one soju is 1 item, one coke is 1 item) so you may need to be strategic with how you order. That said items come out pretty quickly- just the ordering time buffer is annoying

Incredible AYCE kbbq with wagyu beef!!!! For those who want to sit out on the patio, they are only open at dinner time. Indoor dining only during lunch. This location didn't have tiers like the others, but honestly it was perfect. Every dish was so flavorful, so fresh. I love that they give you small portions of each order JUST in case you don't like it so you don't waste! Plus, it just means that you can try more things, and since it's AYCE anyways you can always order more if you like something. My favorites were the prime beef tongue and the wagyu ootoro. I think we had like 3 orders of the ootoro. Mind you it is extremely fatty!! Beef tartar was also a hit! I love that they have this pringle chip looking thing as a scoop, adding a nice crunch to each bite! Yes it is definitely pricey here, but with the selections of meat and AYCE style, I think it is a high value meal. Staff was very nice and quick with bringing everything out! Parking is available in the shopping plaza, but if you come at peak lunch time, it might be hard to find parking because it gets very full!

The Foods are fresh and delicious. Great lunch menu with all you can eat. Service is great and friendly. Place is well organized. Shall be back again when I'm with friends. Parking a great, shared with other places. Location is located all the way in the back. Security guard on the look out in the parking lot which makes it a little safer. Shall be back again.

One of the smaller Chubby Cattle locations with one menu option. Loved that the handrolls were bite sized and not too full of rice. As soon as you are seated they bring out a sample of almost all of their premium meats. Quality here is consistent with other locations. Matcha ice cream at the end. This location is good for more casual meals. Limited parking. Order on the iPad per usual. We enjoyed their canned Chubby Cattle sake! We came for fathers day and they had a free gifts for fathers and we won $10 off our meal!

My third time been to this place and it still amaze me how well they are. I went to couple other chubby cattles in monterey park, diamond bars and the new one in orange county but i think i will stick to this place. The meats quality always the top. The staffs are providing the best customer services in town.

This place is better than any KBBQ place I have been to. The quality of every dish including the fish dishes were gold. Beef was all marbalized and delicious. Service was great. They always had my water cup full. Love the interior design as well. I'd definitely come back again.

I absolutely loved my time here at chubby cattle! The meat was soft and flavorful, and the sushi was fresh and fatty. They have a lot of options for meat and I was excited to try them all even though I didn't know what I was eating half the time haha. I would recommend saving the marinated meat until the very last round since my boyfriend and I were really struggling to fit more food in our belly since it was more heavy. I wish they had more veggies though and steamed egg as an option, but since the focus is the meat I can't complain! My boyfriend and I made a reservation just an hour before for 6:30pm, and when we got there it was busy but no one was waiting outside for a table. There were two servers running around the entire restaurant so although service was a bit slow, it was completely fine since I could tell they were trying their best to serve everyone. Would definitely recommend trying this place!

Honestly a great experience! I went here because my friend was visiting. We made reservations for 6:30 pm and our table was ready at 6:25. They have ample parking here so it shouldn't be that hard to find a spot. They start us out with a play of different cuts of wagyu. You can order 6 things at a time and you can only order every 2 mins. I honestly really enjoyed their sushi items as the quality was really good and had a lot of flavor. My favorite seafood was definitely the salmon carpaccio. As for the meats, I didn't know the cubed ones had seasoning but it was still good! My favorite was the beef tongue as it had a great chew and a good amount of fate surrounding the meat to have a great texture and flavor profile. The lemon and wasabi were great touches! Honestly, I really enjoyed how they had tomatoes with sugar as I used it as a palate cleanser. I truly recommend this place as the service was really great! PS. Ice cream is SOOOO cute and the ube is the perfect way to end the dinner.

Wow I found a top favorite for kbbq. This place is pretty small. Seating is limited and parking can get tough. My friend and I went during lunch so we did not have to wait much. We got the lunch special and it was worth every penny! The meats were so good, and flavorful. You order everything on an iPad They do have a time limit and I felt like if they didn't I would keep eating. Service was great! The lady helping us was super kind. I think they expect you to keep track of time yourself because once our time was up we couldn't order anymore.

We had dinner tonight to celebrate the birthday of our two beautiful girls in my family. Everything is great, the staffs are super nice, and the meats are excellent. Will definitely come back again.

Pricy but good food! Only thing about this location is there is no curry. Also the place is SMALL so reserve ahead of time especially on the weekends! I normally go to the one in Rowland Heights but if it's way too busy there I'll go here. The service isn't the fastest but it's good enough! Dont fill up on appetizers!

Came here on a Thursday night. We had a reservation, but they were pretty busy. Got seated about 15 minutes after our time. Once seated service was quick and efficient, you order the food from an iPad, so it was very easy to keep adding items. They start you off with a sampler of different cuts of meat, which was great to try multiple items! Everything we ordered was great, and we ordered lots of items! The only thing I missed was the banchan that typically comes with Korean food.

Food was great, everything tasted top quality. Staff were super attentive and we had a great time. Looking forward to coming back!

Stopped by on Friday, 03/21/25 for the very first time. I have heard of this hyped-up place before and now is the time for my to try it out with my special person on a very special dinner date! I recommend submitting a reservation via Yelp prior to arrival. I also called in advance to confirm my reservation and asked if they do anything special for birthdays (they said no). Upon arrival, we were told that they do sing happy birthday following a complimentary ice cream cup (we opted in for 2 matchas - sooo good!) This location only has 1 tier (Supreme tier which was $65.99 per person). Each table only has a 90-minute limit - so eat away! - 2 Supremes = $65.99 per person - 1 chubby sake = $9.99 - 1 sapporo = $4.99 SUBTOTAL = $146.96 TAX = $14.01 TOTAL = $160.97 **Paid by my special person** :) 4/5 stars due to parking difficulties - couldn't find parking at first until my special person got a space for me. :')

My first time here and I was really impressed to say the least. The meat was fresh, portions were just right and the selection was great. I love the small setting and the waiters were attentive! The iPad ordering system was easy and very convenient. I highly recommend when you come to the area!

Omfg I live this place, even when they are slammed I have never waited longer than 15 min. Meats come quick with no absurd unnecessary waiting in between. Staff is basically waiting in you hand and foot without being too hovering. Meat quality is great, prices are reasonable and I can't wait to go back.

First time here, oh my goodness, the food is on a whole new level! Very high quality and worth trying out. I like the small portions they offer, so you can really try many of the meat options they have. Before coming here I do recommend to make reservation online to avoid the long wait.

$65 for kbbq? I was ready to be a hater, but it was definitely worth it. If you're familiar with chubby cattle and their menu, you probably think of the different tiers. The Rosemead location has one menu so know before you come ! This location had no wait, and the staff quickly seated us, explained the menu, and had our first plate of meat out within minutes. Every plate of meat we ordered was so quick to come out which is great since they have a 90 min limit. They start you off with a platter in the shape of a cow and different cuts so you can try the different cuts. All the meat was so good, there wasn't a single miss. It's very rich and fatty beef so you will feel it after eating. Thankfully, once you're done with the food they give you a tiny pint of ice cream to finish off with a sweet treat. :) I recommend trying at least once to experience higher quality meat!
