"The dishes in the picture? They’re entirely meat-free. ChuChai is all-vegan but with a solid take on faux meat — think plant-based fried shrimp, chicken skewers, and duck curry. Great for vegetarians who miss meat; less so for those repulsed by it." - Holly Tousignant, Eater Staff

"This Plateau mainstay does Thai food with a twist; everything is vegetarian and vegan friendly with the addition of actually-good faux meats to replace the duck, beef, and fish found in traditional dishes. Chuchai is known for its “Thaipas”, small plates with Thai flare." - Mallory Frayn

Tasting menu was a little bit more expensive for what it was, but we still enjoyed everything. Vegan duck with green beans and vegan chicken with veggies, the tasting platter, chocolate cake, cheesecake, and tea. Our entrees were delicious. For two people, $110 total. In all, the servers were nice and the food is nice. Notes: The chocolate cake!! That stuff is so good.

My family and I had a wonderful experience here. The food was super good and the decor was nice. I had the vegan duck red curry with sticky rice and it was delicious! Would recommend the fried shrimp appetizer as well.

Google
Always really good ; my go to are the MK starter and a MK2 drink, always love the padthai or curry coco as a main. The owner is really nice and she accepter to switch the main for the padthai in the table d’hôte menu cause they didn’t have what I wanted. A must go for vegans

The vegan duck is scarily reminiscent of the real thing. The texture is perfect, browned and chewy skin, tender and juicy inside. It isn’t quite as fatty as real duck, but it is close. The bed of spinach it lays on was the most delicious spinach I have ever had. There is a little garnish of cabbage too. But order another side and maybe rice to fill out your meal. The cucumber salad was ok, tasty but not as flavorful as I was hoping. I also got sticky rice, which came in the tiniest takeout box I have ever seen, which was perfect for one person.

Google
This vegan restaurant is unbelievable. The food is truly amazing and taste very very good. There isn’t a single bad dish and the owner Anna is super nice and friendly. A definite repeat

Absolutely fantastic vegan restaurant. This place is a must of you're visiting the area.

Yelp
This is a vegan restaurant using plant-based ingredients to recreate Thai dishes. I was craving for Thai soup. They have Tom Yum and Tom Kha. Both are lemongrass soup. The difference is that Tom Yum is spicier. Tom Kha is milder from the addition of coconut milk. The Kari Puff is stuffed with curried potatoes and peas. The Yam Mamuang salad was refreshing with a bit of spiciness. Everything I ordered was delicious!! I would come again just for the sticky rice. I love sticky rice!! :D

Yelp
We were looking for something vegan, and saw chuchai, and it was Thai. That's a winning combination in our book. We were down by the port and decided to walk. The things we 'joked about' were that we hoped it would be actually open, that there wasn't a wait, and that the food would be worth it. They were open. But there was a wait - they told us it might be an hour for a table (yikes!). Miraculously, though, we got a table after just a minute or two. And the food was outstanding. They have meat substitutes of every kind, and a pretty extensive selection of Thai dishes. We ordered 5, plus a few appetizers and shared at the table. The green curry was probably our least favorite; it lacked a depth of flavor. But among the others, we pretty much each had a favorite and they were all good. The restaurant itself is pleasant inside and they have outside seating and leave the doors open to make it feel really open.

Yelp
Vegan Thai? That's what I thought, wondering what's the hype. But now I'm like, OMG Vegan Thai ! Vegan chicken? Vegan duck? Vegan Beef? I always used to run away from the word vegan. ChuChai you guys know how to make a vegan dish taste amazing. I would definitely try vegan food again especially if it's from ChuChai. Every dish we ordered was made to perfection. It not only tasted delicious but the vegan fish tasted and looked just like FISH. We started with some appetizers: Kiao Satay, Het Waan Krob and Gai Satay. My favourite was the Het Waan Krob. You guys made a simple mushroom into a delicious appetizer. It was yummy. For our mains we got Tom Yum soup, Pad Keemao, Kao Pad Pak (Fried rice), Kang Daeng Gai, Khiao Wan Koung with Shrimp. I don't know which one was better or which one best. I loved every dish. The combination of fried rice with red curry, along with veggies was just delicious. Even my family members who don't like veggies were gobbling it down. Even one of my family members said: "they will change to vegan if ChuChai opens in Toronto." Now that's a big deal for a carnivore to say. Anyone in Montreal should definitely try this place and make sure to reserve in advance since they are usually very busy. To end our night we got Fried Banana with maple syrup and mango with rice. It was a weird combination, mango and rice, but you know what? It was sooo delicious! Yes rice with mango was delicious. It's fried rice with condensed milk and slices of mango. Definitely unique and great food. Shoutout to Anna who was our server (owner of the restaurant). It's hard to find a good server who is a great business owner too.

Yelp
I'll sum it up this way: After being told we needed to eat quickly as we had the table only until X time (odd way of saying Hi to a customer), we were left without service and the rest of our meal until we had to repeatedly flag someone down...and still left without eating most of the meal paid for.. For what we could eat, the food wasn't bad. Some of it tasty (the chicken and rice) some of it was meh (kale and carrots for a salad) and some was darn right bleh (soup was off like pour a bunch of random spice and hope it hits type off). I would have given 3 stars for quality of food. Portions are 'ok' for the type of restro. Service was a 'never again' type deal.

Yelp
ChuChai is a great place for vegan food. The decor is beautiful and modern. Staff is extremely helpful and kind. There are no many vegan Thai options available. I was very excited to try ChuChai. It turned out to be a great place for dinner. We had the beetle leaf with crispy shredded coconut lime slice and house made sauce ($12), the Ped Palo ($20), crispy vegan duck with spinach and soy sauce and the royal pad Thai ($16). Overall, the restaurant lives up to the hype. The appetizer was fresh and herbaceous. The crispy duck was delicious and flavourful. We both felt we had a beet too much to eat. Look forward to trying other dishes next time we are in Montreal.

W L.

Yelp
My family and I went to this all vegan restaurant last night and it was PHENOMENAL. We had the tasting menu with 5 appetizers, soup and their signature crispy duck (don't miss the duck! I got the curry noodles which was also delicious but the 'duck' was another level! We also shared the 'chicken satay' and my husband felt it was better than his Malaysian family's recipe. And he's not vegetarian! They were so kind to find us a table last minute and let us stay after closing to finish our meal. Seriously one of the best restaurants I have ever been to. The service was so friendly and the food was remarkable. Wish you had a restaurant in the US!

Traveler C.

Yelp
Do yourself a favor: Crispy Duck!!! This is the best vegan restaurant bar none... I can't wait to be back in Montreal just so that I can eat here again.

Jamie Y.

Yelp
First of all, I did not realize that this restaurant only served vegan food until I got the menu. Although I am not a vegan, it did not stop me from ordering their food. We ordered spring roll, pad thai, which has vegan shrimp and vegan chicken and panang curry with vegan beef. I was really curious about vegan shrimp. The flavor of the dishes were pretty good, but I've had better Thai food before. The texture of vegan shrimp was interesting since I've never encountered them before. I think they did a good job at creating vegan versions those shrimp and meat. We sat out on the patio... it was just nice to be out in nice weather, eating good food. Food 3/5 but overall experience 4/5.

Xena W.

Yelp
I ordered the Pad Thai for delivery via UberEats. The meal came quickly and was exactly as I expected. The portion is generous and filling, and comes with vegan shrimp, vegan chicken, fried tofu, and ground peanuts. ChuChai has an extensive menu with a wide array of mock meats and seafood, noodle dishes, appetizers, etc. Although everything is vegan, it's still hearty, delicious, and authentic Thai food - none of that kale and avocado BS. I highly recommend this restaurant.

Yelp
Another interesting vegetarian Asian fine dining restaurant that I see pop up in trendy areas all around the world. My family were the only Asian family that night so it was telling who the restaurant caters to. The food is hit or miss and like most of these types of places focus on imitating meat. Portions were generally small. One thing I did like was that you don't get the pungent smell and taste of fish sauce that is so heavily used in Thai cuisine. Some of the dishes like the rice and pad thai were overly sweet though without that saltiness mask. The crispy duck matched the texture of the meat and fat without the accompanying fatty taste and was done better than many other places. The dumplings in peanut sauce were just too sweet. Everything else was comparable to the cheaper mom & pop vegetarian places around the world.

Alexa S.

Yelp
Amazing food. Space is a little crammed but the food is immaculate. Highly recommend!

Victoria C.

Yelp
Vegan in Montreal: a must visit for any veg fans in Montreal, and everyone else too! // The food here is absolutely amazing, and a really special treat with some unique options for those focusing on the vegan side of life. I went with a non-veggie person and we both enjoyed our meal so much. I friend insisted we try the "duck"... and they were right! We added dumplings, imperial rolls, and "shrimp" and each dish was excellent. Overall can't recommend enough.

Todd T.

Yelp
Haven't had good vegetarian/vegan Thai food in over a decade. We are visiting Montreal and decided to give this place a try. Som tam and larb ped were delicious and actually had a good level of heat! Highly recommend these two dishes if you go. Entrees don't come with rice, so you have to order a side dish if you'd like a carb to accompany your meal. Overall really great vegetarian fare and great service from the bilingual staff.

Shubhi A.

Yelp
My Favourite restaurant in Canada!!! I would travel Montreal for a dinner here. I crave to eat here. Being a Vegetarian, I adored the concept of Vegan meat that they are trying to simulate. Mind blowing food. Pick any dish from the menu, no risk!!! Not to be missed ones are: Crispy Seaweed, Panang Beef Curry, Crispy Duck, Pad kee Mao At times we take their 50 $ tasting menu, which is awesome. None of the Thai Restaurants around the world can beat its flavourful food!!! Every dish is a delicacy and with your first bite, there would be explosion of flavours, perfectly blended.... Every item is better than the other.. Gosh! This place turns me on!! Heavenly food, their servers are smart and hospitality is best in Montreal. Location St. Dennis again great! But parking would be a fight, do make a reservation, its always full; even on weekdays. Best for special occasions.. Bit expensive but worth it. Must go and try. No trip to Montreal for me is complete without a visit to Chu Chai.

Khalil P.

Yelp
Went here for a family dinner on a cold night. One half of the place is reserved for the restaurant and the other half is reserved for the bar. Didn't really know what to expect since everything was vegan and it took a while for me to choose what I wanted off the menu. Our table ended up ordering a bunch of different things to share which was a good way to taste a little bit of everything. My favourites were the 3 flavours vegan beef, the crispy vegan duck and the fried rice. The sauces on these dishes were EXCELLENT and really brought it all together. Overall this place exceeded my expectations and I enjoyed my food.

Yasmin A.

Yelp
Wow this place met my standards, I didn't think the entire menu was vegan but the Thai food was amazing good. The pad Thai is what I order abs for an appetizer we had vegan chicken skewers was super delicious. I highly recommend this place.

Andy V.

Yelp
Whenever I'm in montreal, we go here at least once. While the menu hasn't changed much in the years we've been coming, we always find something that interests us. Usually it's a bunch of different appetisers. The price is right and the service is always welcoming. You can see the staff work hard. Go here and you wont be disappointed. My only suggestion for the restaurant would be to have some new menu options or something creative and different for the day.

Rich S.

Yelp
Nice patio and service! Appetizers were solid though the mains (veggie fish and mixed vegetables) were only so-so.

Vanessa P.

Yelp
First thing: Im not vegan So when a starving meat lover needs food, it better be good and filling so this place blew my mind. A couple of my friends are vegan - you know, the cool kind who dont bust meat lover's chops ... so I trusted them when they said this place was great. Im really open to trying vegan restos. I love trying new things. I got chicken pad thai and I could hardly taste the difference between real chicken and chicken flavoured tofu. I was so impressed!!! I was expecting something with a not so usual but tolerable after taste but it wasnt the case ( that probrably doesnt even make sense but wtv ). It was tasty and bursting with flavour Its definitely a good place for a Vegan to bring non vegan friends and everyone is happy. Vegans get to do their vegan thing and meat lovers will feel completely satisfied. I would definitely come back here!

Elich O.

Yelp
Best vegan Thai place in Montreal. Great portions and service, the cocktails are great here especially matched with their spicy meals. I like to go here late nights because it gets crowded at early dinner time. I often get the tofu drunken noodle (pad Thai) and it never disappoints!!

Ani J.

Yelp
We passed by this Thai restaurant as we were walking along Rue Duluth. We noticed high ratings on Yelp and decided to give it a try. This restaurant is all vegan. At first my carnivore husband wasn't sure, but they he decided to give it a try. They had fake meat made out of soy. We ordered the following: - Kary Puff (Crispy pastry filled with vegetables and yellow curry): DELICIOUS - Red Curry with vegetables: This was a bit spicy for me. The waiter was nice enough to take it back and made it mild. The curry was very flavorful and I absolutely enjoyed it. Overall, a great place for some vegetarian food.

Veronique P.

Yelp
Fun, original, full of taste and an exciting menu. I brought my mother who is not vegetarian at all and she loved the "fake meat" plates she took. She even wants to bring a friend of hers! And visually, the plates makes you want to try it all!!! And their exotic drinks...to try!

Rohit A.

Yelp
Amazing Thai Food. The food here is as consistent and as delicious as it gets. I have been here probably over a 100 times and have never been disappointed. It is a fine dine restaurant and it is vegan. I have brought friends here who are hardcore non-vegetarians and they have had a hard time believing what they ate was not meat. I have tried probably everything on their menu like especially like cripsy seaweed, crispy duck with spinach, Panang beef curry, Pad kee mow, crispy rice. If you're a foodie (like me) this is one place you can't afford to miss. You can thank me later and I do accept cheques (or you can just like my post if you agree afterwards) :)

Veronique C.

Yelp
My favorite in Montreal. Try the crispy duck. Delicious. Or any chicken dish. (Its all mock meat don't worry.) Just delicious.

Stefan K.

Yelp
Finding good vegan asian cuisine is usually a challenge for me. Thank goodness for this Montreal gem. ChuChai offers some of the tastiest meals I've ever enjoyed. The meals feel very upscale in their offering, presentation and portion sizes. We decided on 3 meals to share and found that it was enough for our appetites. The first dish we tried was the Pad Thai with duck. The Pad Thai did not disappoint and although I was discouraged by no offering of vegan shrimp with the dish the duck also did not disappoint. It was delicious and eerily reminiscent of real duck. I was impressed with the skill in the preparation and the taste. The second dish was the Chicken Chili and Basil. It was a succulent dish and the basil was very flavourful adding to the dishes overall enjoyment and appeal. Again the preparation of the chicken was good enough to fool even the most hard core of carnivores. There were many times I was questioning if we were indeed eating vegan meat. The last dish we got was the Duck with Soya and Spinach. This was my favourite of the night. The duck was crispy, sticky, tender and slippery. The sauce and glaze just added to the potency of the flavour experience. I could not get enough of it and my taste buds wanted to override my stomach capacity it was that good. I don't think that there is a menu item that you can go wrong with here. My only piece of advice is that all items on the menu come as described so if you want a rice or noodle dish to pair with it make sure you order that as well.

Nancy L.

Yelp
I was invited here by a vegan friend while I was staying in Montreal. Even though I am a meat lover and intolerant to soy, I enjoyed the food in this place! There were plenty of tasty vegetable options! There drink menu was very creative and the outdoor area on this traditional Montréal street was lovely!

Minal S.

Yelp
this is a do not miss! They do a great job on faking you out with the meats and seafood and their four2K drink is AWESOME, never had anything like that ever. Great fresh food and great service.

Bhavita M.

Yelp
One of the vegan Thai places ! Don't get confused with the names.. everything is vegetable, tofu and potato based. This place is one of a kind. We ordered the veggie noodles and rice and it was just classic. The drinks are surely something to try as well.. very exotic. There were some with a mix of spice sweet and sour - packed with flavor !

Elvi R.

Yelp
Every time that i'm in town, i always make sure to go at least once but always end up going a few times. We do have a few favorite dishes on the menu that is a must every time that we go like the fried seaweed, the papaya salad, the boeuf 3 sauce and the tofu with fried spinach and peanut sauce. I have brought a lot of people that weren't vegetarian to this restaurant and everyone was always super happy with the food. Great place for vegan, vegetarians or omnivores.

Emily M.

Yelp
Pretty tasty vegan Thai food but overpriced for the quality. I don't feel like there's much craftsmanship to the food here, at least not enough to justify the hype. I enjoyed most of what I tried but wasn't blown away. To start, the tom yum was yummy but the chicken satay was small and too sweet for my taste. The pad Thai was good, with the massaman curry being the unanimous favorite. My biggest complaint: I hate having to pay extra for rice when the dish is already expensive - of course I want rice with my curry? I expect restaurants at this price point to veer away from such faux meat-heavy dishes as it feels like a cheap cop out, but I'm sure others feel differently. To be fair, my partner loved everything we ate - but this isn't their review. One funny thing to note: We chose to eat on the edge of the covered terrace even though it looked like rain. When the host sat us, she warned us she couldn't guarantee a table inside - even though it was 100% empty at the time. Kinda strange but ¯\_(ツ)_/¯ everything turned out fine.

Mtl F.

Yelp
This place was UN REAL!!!! The decor is very evening appropriate (it's quite dark) but very nice. The service was good and the food was un. Believable. SO. GOOD!! I got a dish with vegan duck and I swear if someone would of told me it's real duck I would of believed them. The prices are reasonable and the portions are generous. I highly recommend this place for vegans and non-vegans, I think anyone would love it.

Erin M.

Yelp
Everything is easy at ChuChai because it's all vegan. I started with the Tom Kha soup with vegetables; it was just the right spice level and warm and comforting. Next, I split the mango, green apple and cashew salad with a friend. Served on a bed of greens, it was pretty tasty. Lastly, the pad Thai was good, but I'm generally a bit underwhelmed by mock meat. Next time, I'd order it with tofu only and skip out on the mock chicken and shrimp. The restaurant itself is very nice, casual but beautiful and has fantastic service.

Liz S.

Yelp
My spouse chose this restaurant based on the high reviews. We're vegan and he loves Thai so it seemed perfect. Before seating us, the host decided to take a lengthy phone call. After he hung up, he told us we could eat there if we were out within an hour and a half because we didn't have reservations (fine with me). It took half an hour before the same person took our drink order because the other servers just ignored us. We decided to leave after being rudely told that no, the expensive curry does not come with any rice. I have no problem paying more for fine food. After all, it's an experience. But there is no excuse for that level of rudeness. Perhaps we just came on an "off" night, or perhaps the 5 star reviews of this place were written by employees.

Ivan M.

Yelp
ChuChai is my go-to vegetarian place to take non-vegetarians, and my favourite restaurant in Montreal at this point. Honestly, I've taken, at last count, 12 non-veg guests there, and every single person has loved it. Their prices are on the upper end of causal dining, a three person outing is likely going to come in ~$100, more with drinks. Almost everything on the menu is great, but the favourites seem to be the faux crispy duck, the panaag curry, the crispy spinach and the sticky rice. I've never tired their desert offerings, however, as at the overall price of the meal there is usually a better offering elsewhere on St.Denis for desert, at a more friendly price point. Definitely call in advance and reserve a table or you might be out of luck.

Justin M.

Yelp
Overpriced, dishes didn't even include rice. Panang beef should be called "puke beef". Why bother naming things after meat anyway? You made your choice, vegans!

Jennifer N.

Yelp
I came here for my friend's birthday last weekend. I had been here before, a good 8 years ago and the menu was relatively the same. They are all Asian based dishes. The spice star level indicated on the menu isn't really reliable. I had a 1 star spicy dish and it wasn't even spicy. My husband tried the spiciest item on the menu: Vietnamese salad at 3 stars. It was medium spicy. For the dish you get, it's expensive. I had the `beef with bell pepper` for $19. There was maybe 1/4 of a bell pepper with about a dozen mini mini meat balls slathered in a sticky and overbearingly sweet sauce. It's a pain that the rice costs extra so it can absorb all that sugar. At least my Thaijito was good...

Leila H.

Yelp
I wish I knew about this restaurant before! Vegan-Vegetarian Asian restaurant with faux meat and fish. Absolutely delicious veg cuisine that is unlike anything I've had anywhere else. We tried the chicken tom yum soup, salt and pepper "shrimps", crispy spinach, a thai "beef"dish, pad thai with "chicken"- excellent food!! The service was great, ambience amazing. This restaurant definitely tops my list for vegetarian options.

Matthew P.

Yelp
Going to say the first time I came here with a large group I was really disappointed . They punish you if you come with a lager group .They forced you to order from a different menu that costed more and has a lot less to chose from , when I asked for a different menu they told me they could not do it out of laziness it's to much work for the . Second time my friend really interested on trying it again just the 2 of us . The menu was a lot better more to choose from and better choices and priced food. First time here I took the Famous fake Duck plate YUK! Second time I had this fresh pita like thing friend recommended it was amazing . Then ordered the fake shrimp plate which was also really good . Original I was going to give this place 2 stars having more better choice for better price turned it to 4.

Offer R.

Yelp
Not impressed. I didn't really like it last time, and got dragged again by my vegetarian / vegan friends. I thought that I played it safe with my order of crispy duck and sticky rice, but for $30 after tax and tip, I could do better in almost any other place around the neighbourhood. My friends loved it; I was the minority opinion... But I like what I like! (and I don't like the food here, not for this price, for sure!)

Preeti C.

Yelp
Funny enough, we picked this spot for dinner based on rating and craving Thai. When we arrived, although we did not have a reservation, they found us a table right away (and outside to enjoy the weather, yay!) in the midst of a very hectic busy period. So we were off to a good start. Now for the funny part...we had no idea it was a vegan restaurant! My hubs loves meat and so I initially felt bad until we ordered and then thoroughly enjoyed our meal! We had veggie spring rolls to start (peanut sauce to die for). Hubs had crispy duck and enjoyed it. I had tofu peanut curry (kinda like penang curry) and I was dreaming about it for days after. Wine selection was decent (for what can be expected at a Thai resto) and the service was A+!

Vibhor S.

Yelp
The food was good, but I was expecting more with everyone raving about it (I didn't have the crispy duck I guess that's why). Ive had better pad thai and red curry, even vegetarian versions. The service was a bit disappointing, not that the servers were bad but they seemed understaffed. Also received my cocktails towards the mid/end of the meal, probably because of the same.

Christian C.

Yelp
I'm going to give it a star, not because the food wasn't amazing (it was great), but because of the staff acting childish. When we left, the waitress took the bill and showed it to their colleagues and they were having giggles over it for some reason. Perhaps they were shocked we left tip, I don't know, I couldn't understand them. But either way, this is something that's very rude and unnaceptable, I'm not coming there again.

Masha B.

Yelp
After initially reviewing this place, I went to ChuChai a few more times and became very disappointed. The food is good and consistent, and the staff remains kind. However, after being smacked with high-priced bills, I realized that the portions are too small for what you are paying for. I feel that this place is a trap for vegetarians since it's not always easy to get good veggie meals in many restaurants. Also, I've been experiencing very slow service here which can be rather annoying. I gave ChuChai a few chances, but they failed me. There are other Thai restaurants that offer good food for reasonable prices; I rather go there instead.

Kathy S.

Yelp
Just went back here whilst in town.. it had been 4 years since the last time! Talk about consistency! It's just how I remember it if not better. I love the modern art on the walls and the cozy seating plan. We ordered the shrimp green curry and the ginger chicken and we absolutely loved it! The sticky rice really paired well with our dishes. The rice portions are kinda small.. we should have ordered 3 rice orders for the 2 of us.. will do so next time! The mango sticky rice dessert is impeccable. It's a must when you eat here!!! Service is pleasant and extra fast. The food is a little pricey but I still think for the quality it's worth it.

Gregory T.

Yelp
This is my wife's favorite vegetarian restaurant. We started coming here years ago and the food quality is always high. As a meat eater I can always find many options that are tasty. My only criticism is the mixed drinks are on the small side and a little pricey.

Talha R.

Yelp
Very good vegan Thai food. Great collection of drinks and cocktails. A bit pricey though.

Jamila R.

Yelp
Wow super satisfied!! I was extremely surprise that their wh0le Menu is vegan and i was happy to taste the mushroom appetizer that taste so good i thought it was meat at first but i was told it was mushroom and it was absolutely delicious!! I tried the tofu with peanut sauce and fried spinach and the green curry veggies with coconut milk and it was so good with the side of brown rice and the coconut shred appetizer was served in a little leafy if was the perfect salty sweet balance i just love this place will be back! The japonaise beer was also very refreshing a d our waitress was super kind and gave good recommendation!!

Khanh L.

Yelp
Went there about five years ago Just recently came back, cuz my cousin from Vancouver was visiting and she's vegeterian, so we went to ChuChai... I'm quite impressed with this place, since everything is completely vegeterian, no meat no fish sauce whatsoever. That's a tall order if you're cooking thai food. I'd say it is a bit on the sweet side, everything is slightly sweet, I mean Thai cooking has a lot of sugar but this is is slightly sweeter than usual. Nothing a little lime can't fix really. we ordered pad thai, tofu with peanut sauce and fried spinach, mock penang beef, papaya salad, fried egg noodle which tasted like chow mein, and peanut sauce dumpling. The flavor is distinctly Thai, which is impressive, since a lot of dishes have fish sauce or some sort of prawn paste in it, and frankly i doubt i'm not sure i detect those hints of flavors missing... they found a way to substitute without cutting out the taste. The penang was the weakest, it lacked a bit, but the tofu with fried spinach is spot on. Being a meat eater it's not on top of my list but it's a nice place to go if you have a veggie friend, lol and we all have one or two of those :P

Yelp
Very unique but amazing restaurant. I tried a few tapas, a main and a few desserts. I don't want to give you any spoilers but everything was amazing! I will definitely go back to try more of the menu Highly recommended

Yelp
I'm a meat lover but boy oh boy was this ggrreeeatttt! The succulent crispy duck was quite an unbelievably extraordinary dish that had the perfect amount of cripsyness . The pad thai was arguably the best I've ever had and the red curry chicken was super duper flavourful. YUMMY YUMMY IN MA TUMMY. Keep up the great and innovative dishes
