How THC Beverages Took Over Minnesota Taprooms, Restaurants, and Bars | Eater Twin Cities

"At Eastlake Craft Brewery I saw tart THC seltzers in flavors like passionfruit and grapefruit, and the brewery was among those that allowed customers to crack open cans onsite rather than restricting consumption to takeout." - Joe Berkowitz

The Newest Restaurant and Bar Closures in Minneapolis and St. Paul | Eater Twin Cities

"I learned they announced they’ll close on September 23, just shy of their nine-year anniversary, blaming a one-two punch of COVID and the civil unrest outside their doors and ultimately an inability to afford the rent; Eastlake has been a fixture of Lake Street’s Midtown Global Market (an incubator that opened in 2006 and saw a roughly 75 percent drop in foot traffic early in the pandemic), several events are planned for the brewery’s final days, and the market had a big opening earlier this year with NATIF’s Indigenous Food Lab." - Justine Jones

For starters food came from Birria Kings which is in the same place as this brewery. Nice setup and it wasn’t busy when I went around lunch time. I tried one of the IPA the bar tender recommended and it was good. More than enough tvs to catch your favorite sport. Service was great and no long waits. You can also scan the qr at your table to order and pay. Tacos from the restaurant was icing on the cake. Will visit again.

The place is great. It's got a solid selection of their beers. I haven't tried the food yet. Everyone in there is always in a good mood. Plenty of tables and space to hang out or get work done.

No craft beer is good enough to make up for the poor quality food you are served. You are better off buying a frozen pizza at Von’s, along with a bag of frozen French fries, Chicken tenders and a six pack. The pizza was like the pizza my Dad refused to get me at the local Drive-In Theater back in the 60’s. $50.00 for cardboard tasteless bland pizza and dry microwaved Chicken tenders. Now I know why you order and pay, vs order eat and pay. They also seem to have a big kitchen, but how much room do you need for a freezer and microwave? Very sad as this is a nice ‘em watering hole, but don’t waste you time or money on the food- just pre-made frozen stuff. Beyond disappointed, feel a bit ripped off.

I brought a group of about 50 military veterans from the San Diego Chapter of Veteran Beer Club to this location for a networking event. I can't say enough good things about Tim and his fantastic staff that hosted us for our monthly event. The atmosphere was perfect with great beverages and an outstanding selection of food to include a tasty smoked meat selection. We will be back for sure.

Nice place I escaped a bday party next door and hoped for a good beer and 5 minutes of peace. I got the peace which was great but the beer seemed flat and just had no flavor. I purchased a 4 pack to take home and thought let's give it another shot, unfortunately just didn't exceed my expectations and I'll leave it at that :(

It was SBMS's reunion for all the employees for the last 20 some years. It was the best time. Service was great. The atmosphere was fantastic and the DJ was also great.
