4 must-eat noodles in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia - SilverKris

"A family-run Hakka noodle spot with decades of local patronage, it serves thin, springy in-house noodles coated in lard and secret sauces, topped with braised pork mince, char siew and chye sim. The noodles avoid the unpleasant alkaline taste often found elsewhere because they’re made on-site; the pork is hand-chopped and braised with soy sauce, fish sauce and garlic for a deep, savoury complexity. Expect to share tables at peak times; best to visit for breakfast or an early lunch as they close at 2:30pm." - SilverKris

Tried after seeing Google high rating but overall above average than any noodle stall. The handmade noodles were good with minced meat topping was fragrant and tasty though slightly salty. The wanton was generously filled but rather bland and lacking on flavor. The long Q was another downside, waited for 30min, while it is worth trying once if you are curious, but not for 2nd visit....

Really good. Come on sat morning 10+ , not much crowd but q system is organized. Friendly service. Pork minced noodle very balance, not too salty. Personally i prefer wanton over the shui kao. For large bowl, shd add more 2-3 slices of char siew. Generally happy customer with high satisfaction.

First time trying this place, but honestly, no next time for me. Overall, the food is just so-so. Not sure why people are queuing—maybe it’s because it’s a 老字号 (time-honored brand)? The noodles were quite salty for me, and the wantan was pretty average. That said, the dumplings are definitely worth a try—I’d recommend ordering those.

The wonton and the minced pork are amazing. Long queue and very hot inside. Waiting approximately for 30mins (15min queue and 15min waiting for the noodle). The drink is the best, best value and authentic. The noodle seasoning is so tasty but too salty.

Good traditional tasting bowl of Hakka noodles. The best handmade noodles freshly made with tasty char siew and pork mince. Noodles are flavourful and chewy cooked with right balance. Recommended.

Ordered Small Hakka white mee, a bit salty for me but after adding soup, was ok. Love the noodle texture. Just like any other kopitiam, it has the vibe. They made good teh c :)

Came on Sunday morning around 10am+, and need to queue about 15 mins to get table for 2. Quite systematic though it's busy with full tables of ppl, yet didn't mistaken your orders. The noodles come with minced, pork charsiew and suit my taste bud, not too salty, and best eaten with the marinated green chillies.. my wife loves it too. Just the environment a bit too hot, but it won't deter us to try the delicious noodles.

Came here after seeing many of the reviews and hypes about this place. Turned out the food really average only. The minced meat is not so flavorful and the noodles have very little lard oil taste… feels like home cooked stuffs and nothing to shout about at all, making this a very disappointing visit. 🥲Nevertheless, the lime juice is very good 🥳though. Also..price is reasonable and staffs are friendly.
