Chun Kei Tai Bu Noodle Restaurant

Had a good breakfast at Chun Kei Tai Bu Noodle Restaurant. Our first time trying Hakka noodles and boy, were we impressed. The noodles were excellent — the egg noodles had just the right texture and, although they looked quite unassuming, they were surprisingly flavourful. The standout for me was the minced meat, which added so much depth and flavour. While the char siew and wanton could have been much better executed, the noodles with the minced meat simply nail it. Best of all, each small bowl was only RM10, making it incredibly value for money. Honest, tasty noodles done right — definitely worth a visit.

I had the small size bowl cost rm10 , from my opinion noodle was lacking of pork lard flavor thus didn’t give that fragrant taste . I like the wan tan soup .

Tried after seeing Google high rating but overall above average than any noodle stall. The handmade noodles were good with minced meat topping was fragrant and tasty though slightly salty. The wanton was generously filled but rather bland and lacking on flavor. The long Q was another downside, waited for 30min, while it is worth trying once if you are curious, but not for 2nd visit....

Came here for lunch. Crowded and pretty hot if u sit at the corner. Ordered the small size that cost 10ringgit. Pretty nice but definitely wish there was chilli sauce as it would taste better

Good traditional tasting bowl of Hakka noodles. The best handmade noodles freshly made with tasty char siew and pork mince. Noodles are flavourful and chewy cooked with right balance. Recommended.

Came on an early Sunday morning, the crowd is not in yet. Love their noodles -- This is my 4-5th visit, came on weekend for lohsifun (made of rice flour). Noodles consistently good w lard infusion. Only complain is their toilet, it is flooded & last I came it is still not fixed. Otherwise all good - Was there around 830am, about 10 minutes wait. In addition to the noodles we ordered the lohsifun (made of 100% rice flour). The noodles & lohsifun is very good ie noodles are nice & soft w pork lard. -- This is a pretty old school WTM stall is hidden part of Pudu. Parking abit of challenge but worth the walk. Food & old kopitiam ambience is pretty good. I can see alot of regular patrons. Staff are friendly. A worthwhile visit if you like WTM.

Really good. Come on sat morning 10+ , not much crowd but q system is organized. Friendly service. Pork minced noodle very balance, not too salty. Personally i prefer wanton over the shui kao. For large bowl, shd add more 2-3 slices of char siew. Generally happy customer with high satisfaction.

First time trying this place, but honestly, no next time for me. Overall, the food is just so-so. Not sure why people are queuing—maybe it’s because it’s a 老字号 (time-honored brand)? The noodles were quite salty for me, and the wantan was pretty average. That said, the dumplings are definitely worth a try—I’d recommend ordering those.
