Very glad to find this store today. I've been looking for yellow yuzu flavored fish egg roe as a sushi toppin for a few weeks. After calling many stores this was the only store I found with it. To have this product says a Lot about what else you can find!

Really great local stop for a lot of Asian cooking staples, snacks, cookware, and utensils. I was able to find different types of curry, great snacks like dried squid and boy bawang, and would also recommend picking up a jar of honey passionfruit tea. It can feel tight and messy, but is a truly authentic store with lots of character and heart.

It very nice, anything you need they probably have soup bowls, all kinds of different noodles, everything pretty much, and they are very nice here.

The owner/cashier was so helpful in helping me find exactly what I needed. He went above and beyond to help me get exactly what I needed and the customer service was incredible. I will be back! 10/10 HIGHLY recommend

I bought japanese Udon and Japanese curry cube there and it got most of the things that an Asian needs

Visited Chung Hung market for some items and this store is packed with wonderful items! Well stocked and very friendly staff. Stan, a family member, could not have been nicer in helping me. The store has been in the family for 30 years and he learned by stocking the shelves. A must visit. Asian American food items.

Great selection on rice noodles,rice and sauces for stir fry. Finally found my ginger candy again. Good prices. Staff was helpful.

Very good people. They have great hard to find delicious products. Went to this place while regrouping after 2 tires went out on my car on a hot summer day. Saw lots of great drinks and items that are helpful for cooking.

Reminds me of my high school home (Seoul South Korea). Without H-Mart, it's so hard to find authentic Oriental ingredients to cook with around town. So this is definitely your store if you're looking to personalize your meals the right way. Great Service. Casual Shopping.

This market located in North Beach is very unique and wonderful. You will find everything you need to prepare your favorite Asian dish. The store is small but the selections and variety is very wide. They also have many products like oils, rice, egg noodles, dumplings, veggies and much more... So happy to find items including my favorite teas; green tea, matcha, jasmine and ginger and also matcha-green tea chocolate. I found some other very interesting seasonings from all over Asia and very lovely spoons and dinner plates. I didn't know I had Asian markets so close to my area but I'm so excited to discover a nice market like this one with such a friendly service. The person who assisted us was genuinely the nicest person I have ever meet in a market. He was so friendly and helped us find all the things we needed. Learning from others and appreciate diversity is what make us better. Im feeling very Grateful. Supporting local markets is a way to love your community!!

Fantastic Asian market! They have a great variety of products from all over South and Southeast Asia - from frozen and canned food, to all sorts of sauces, curries, spices and seasonings; sweets and snacks; teas and herbs; rice and noodles, noodles and MORE noodles!! If you like Asian food or to experiment in the kitchen, this place is for you! The aisles are crammed and not organized very well at all, but the store isn't huge, so it's not a big deal to traverse all of the aisles to find exactly what you need. They didn't have a big selection of fresh vegetables - mostly greens and eggplant, but I found plenty of selection of canned, dried and frozen produce. Check the expiration dates - as Thien H. mentioned, a lot of products were past their "best by" dates. Finally, the younger guy behind the counter was really nice and friendly!

This place is great! The store is packed with Asian foods and delicious Asian candies. Friendly and helpful staff when I asked a few questions. Have already been back after my first visit.

Nice place because it's convenient for us Asian travelers but we found a lot of things that were past "best by" dates. We bought a pack of shin ramen and found out it was expired when we got to our hotel.

The people here are nice but the place needs to be more organized. Stuff are on the floor and need to be avoided. This place has stuff that other oriental store doesn't which is nice. I got mochi ice cream here and it looks like it was melted and refreeze. They have a lot of stuff, it kinda look like they hoarded stuff to sell and that's what makes this place unorganize

I remember coming to this place a long time ago, but haven't been in years when other newer, cleaner and bigger Asian stores pop up. However, recently a search for a clay pot i couldn't find in the other stores in the neighborhood (and don't want to drive up to Broward) brought me back. I was first surprised by the size of this place. It's definitely bigger than I remember. And as the shelves are so jam packed, the array of items they sell is amazing. They even have a few plastic containers of hardware items! And ginseng and other Chinese herbs that costs hundreds of dollars near the register. Honestly, product wise, it definitely has the best selection in Miami. BUT... as others say, if you buy food, check the expiration date!! I found some Pocky sticks that expired in 2015. Urgh.

This is my favorite asian market. They have huge items and reasonable . They carry popular Korean spicy noodle. So I want to come back to buy it soon.

Check the expiration date on products at Chung Hing. We bought a variety of ramen to try and the very first one was so rancid. It had a little chili oil packet, so that's probably what went bad. The smell was overwhelmingly gross. Definitely threw it out. Only after making the ramen did I check for an expiration date. There used to be a printed date, but the ink was mostly rubbed off. The second ramen seems okay. Now that I think about it, the rice vermicelli (clear package with red) was the worst vermicelli I've ever bought. The noodles were unevenly sized. Some were normal, but there were some super thick ones that came out hard after boiling. I had to reboil the noodles and pick out the noodles that stuck together or were too thick. Chung Hing also didn't have any Thai basil in stock. The store is disorganized, doesn't seem very clean, but does have a variety of products. Sadly, there are slim pickings when it comes to good Asian grocery stores in South Florida.

My favorite Asian grocery in Miami Dade. Mr. Chung and staff do everything they can to get you the things you need from a huge selection of multi-culture products to restaurant and kitchen supplies. Produce, frozen, dried, condiments, noodles and spices galore. Specialty items for holidays, and fresh baked and steamed goods.

The best little market! Great hospitality and various options to choose from. At checkout I was able to speak with the cashier, Stan and he was extremely helpful and friendly. Highly recommend this place!

This place is unorganized, they don't wanna help and they willing to kick you out the minute before they close. I tried being nice and asking for their help, and they just gave me blank stares and would point. I understand if they can't understand what I'm asking, what I'm complaining is how they don't want to help. I don't really want to come back here again to be honest. The prices were good but I'm sure I can find a better place. I'd say go and get your own experience first.

I do not know what is it about asian grocery stores, they are disorganized, full of stuff that half or more you don't know what it is (and I'm chinese..) or maybe it has a past due date. This store is good for bottled stuff, like sauces, soy sauces, or grains like jasmine rice. Found some particular stuff in the fridge like burdock root.... They have tons of stuff... like china, candies, canned food, cookies, vegetables (but they weren't that fresh...), teas, etc. Prices are ok, it does seem like things have been there forever, so check the dates on the products!!! Secret to places like that, if you can bear the crowded items all in the isles then I suggest you do a one round of recognition, and later start shopping. It's one of those stores that you might see something else when you stroll the second time! Duckk... where? here?? not anymore!!!

Don't go they r not interested in selling to customers and most products are long expired. The owner sits behind a counter wishing nobody ever came in. Freaky scary business.

I very rarely post bad reviews but wow, my experience was a disaster. After having a great experience down the street by all sorts of goodies at Beijing Mart I decided to try this other place to see if they had different stuff. I went there mostly for sweets and candy and I purchased a whole selection of items. Bags of candy, mochi, some baked goods including a freshly baked cake at the front. Everything was really disgusting and horrible. It was like it had all been sitting on the shelf for ages and gone bad. Even the freshly baked cake seemed old and stale. They had fresh fish that were tanks so dirty that it looked scary. Anyways, I love Asian stuff I regularly around all the time to Asian supermarkets and I've never had bad experiences especially with snack food except for here. Also staff are particularly miserable (at best).

Small market but packed to the ceiling with groceries and kitchen supplies. Ample parking, reasonable prices and pleasant owners. Highly recommend.

Chung Hing Oriental Mart probably has the widest variety of East Asian and Southeast Asian foodstuffs you will find in Miami. Most of the items in stock are Chinese, but you'll also find some Thai, Japanese, Korean, and I think Filipino and Malaysian sauces, spice rubs, noodles, canned vegetables and fruits. Looking for fruit juice drinks with aloe jelly? They've got them, along with a whole row of teas. There are the typical frozen dim sum dishes in one of the freezer sections, along with frozen red bean buns and other desserts. The shelves are very high and tightly packed, which might explain why some visitors feel the shop is disorganized and too congested, but if you take a few minutes to look through the stock, you'll see that it is actually pretty well organized. There is a section of shelves with plenty of dishware and cooking utensils in the far back to the left, if you are in need a of new soup bowl, wok, or cleaver. They also sell some Chinese deli food (like char siu) and seafood, but I have never bought any of these. Prices seem pretty fair overall.

This mart is the most disorganized compared to its competition. (also hot inside) Variety is large but turnover is low (I see lots of old stuff) The walkways are very narrow. In the back, I saw fresh eel. (this appeared out of place) Also, notably, in the back there is a butcher with more duck, char siu and roasted pork head as compared to the other marts (however, again turnover is low) just go to PK

This place has some items Beijing Mart and PK Oriental Market don't have. But the price is definitely higher than the others. Shop around.

young lady at the front very helpful and pleasant. older man could use a 101 crash course in asian protocole and business diplomacy. good job at having a miscelaneous colourful display of asian gastro marvels .just a bit more courtesy and not so despotic an attitude from mr owners will go a long way with non asian customers. chill....

Love coming here to buy dumpling wrappers. Looked everywhere in the Miami Beach/north Miami area and this was the only place that had them.

I bought two tang yuan product from this place, and both of them were expired a few years ago (2012, 2013). If I ever have to go to this place again, I will definitely check their expiration date. Even better, I will try not to go there.

Carried a lot of asian stuff... make sure you check the exp since this store full with unused item also :(

This place is great. It was the only Asian Market of the three on 163 St in N. Miami that had the Korean pepper powder I needed to make Kimchi. This place is the real deal, they have everything. They even had live blue crabs sitting in large cases in the back along with live fish in a large tank. Nice produce section with an array of Asian produce. The store was clean, organized and the staff while busy was available if you asked for help.

Very few Asian markets in MIAMI & this is 1 of them. Its pricier then ANY other ASIAN Market I have ever been to! But it does have the selection of Asian ingredients I need.

I've recently came here and here's my verdict: Customer service was decent and helpful (I had some questions and asked the staff member if they could help me. If you have a question, just ask one of the staff members). My questions were answered and the cashier is nice. There was a lot of products they offer! The shelves are PACKED. There's so much stuff and the aisle are narrow, I sometime feel cramp there. But, there are merchandises that I found interesting and useful. Examples of things I discovered there are Japanese fans, red envelopes, kitchen wares and utensils, etc. Before I came here, I've read the reviews about looking at the expiration dates. Do that- one should always look at the expiration date when making a purchase wherever they are shopping at. Overall, I had a good experience and will shop again. They also have live seafood by the way! However, I wish they have a bike rack since I mainly travel by bike.

A challenging Thai recipe brought me to this super market. I had my list in hand and was determined to make this happen. I walked in to this medium sized market. It feels small because it really is packed to the brim with stuff. As another Yelper mentioned, the aisles are narrow. This place can be a bit overwhelming because most everything is written in Chinese. Mind you, every time I asked for something, i.e. bamboo shoots, one of the women in the front showed me the way. It seems though, that walking around looking lost will not get anything accomplished. In this place, you have to seek help. ASK! I bought some canned stuff that was past its expiration date. So, check the dates of canned stuff. The vegetables were fresh and the fresh bamboo shoots were perfect. With a little time an patience, one can really get a lot accomplished here. Don;t forget to check out the sushi plates and kitchen ware!
