I had the chance to dine at Chungdam on Christmas eve. Although it was a last minute booking for one person - the owner and team made me feel so welcome. The food was great, the bulgogi a bit too sweet for my taste but the rice was PERFECT! It was a recommendation from a friend - but I would recommend to any solo diner too

We visited this Korean style restaurant for my son's birthday dinner, it was a wonderful experience. The decor is minimal and unfussy but the quality of the food more than makes up for it. The produce and meat were incredibly fresh. Staff were very helpful and grilled out meat right at the table, taking the time to explain different sauses since it was our first time visiting. The restaurant was clean and the service was attentive throughout our dinner. Prices felt reasonable both for location and quality of meat. Overall, great experience and delicious food. My son was happy.

Really incredible experience. The chateaubriand was really cooked well, the beef brisket and the beef tongue - all amazing. The kimchi was particularly good and spicy. Was very pleased with the service with the servers being a mix of people from Japan and Korea. The team was incredibly well manored. Looking forward to be a regular here. The restaurant itself is very clinical and white, and the ventilation is good which means you can breathe well inspite of all the grills blasting...

Food is so fresh! The selection of seafood and meat was incredible! Everything was so yummy! The tables are a little close together so when it gets busy it feels a little intense. But a great spot in a very busy Soho!

Chic and slightly refined k-bbq restaurant in the heart of soho. Loved their naengmyeon (cold noodles) - just the right balance of tanginess and sweetness. very refreshing for a warm summer. Seafood pancake was good, they differ by putting octopuses which added an extra layers of chewiness. The deep fried battered ox tongue was a 5/10. Ambience was cute and romantic, the only caveat was ventilation- could have a better bbq smoke system.

An elevated k bbq experience, I’ve been a few times now - lovely interior and staff with a superb menu and great draft beer. Everything we had was delicious and we even did some karaoke downstairs while waiting for our table.

We really liked Chungdam. It's Korean grill style, where your chosen meats are grilled on a hotplate at your table. Lovely sides and salads too - full of soy, ginger, vinegar and unfamiliar spices. Universally pleasant service. Strongly recommended.

One of the best Korean restaurants in London! It’s a bit pricey, but totally worth it. The staff are friendly, the location is convenient, the atmosphere is pleasant, and most importantly, the food is very authentic. I also appreciated the air purifiers around the corners—it didn’t get too smoky
