The 12 Best Full English Breakfasts In London - London - The Infatuation

"The meaty, herby sausages at this straightforward Waterloo caff have local legend status for good reason. The white toast is soft and buttery, and the owners take on familial roles, questioning why you haven’t eaten your fourth slice. Plus the bacon is thick and smoky. For a bit of a fuss and a big, tasty meal, it doesn't get much better than this. Grab one of the wooden benches that spill out onto the street if the weather’s nice first thing, and watch Lower Marsh rumble into life." - rianne shlebak, jake missing, sinead cranna

The 14 Best Restaurants In Waterloo & South Bank - London - The Infatuation

"If you’re hopping on the train at Waterloo, you can’t live on crumpled packets of Walkers alone. Head to Chunnel Bar for a substantial breakfast before your journey. It’s a straightforward caff serving excellent fry-ups and milky brews, and their meaty, herby sausages have reached local legend status. The chatty owners take on familial roles, questioning why you haven’t eaten your fourth slice of toast. Inside it’s comfortingly old-fashioned, with wipe-clean seats and a TV that everybody ignores. But grab one of the wooden benches that spill out onto the street if the weather’s nice, and watch Lower Marsh rumble to life." - jake missing, rianne shlebak, heidi lauth beasley, sinead cranna

Chunnel Bar - Review - Waterloo - London - The Infatuation

"Chunnel Bar is a straightforward Waterloo caff serving excellent fry-ups and milky brews, and their meaty, herby sausages have reached local legend status—for good reason. The exterior is shiny and big-bus-red, but the inside is still comfortingly old-fashioned, with wipe-clean seats and a TV that everybody ignores. The owners take on familial roles, questioning why you haven’t eaten your fourth slice of toast. For a bit of a fuss and a big, tasty meal, it doesn't get much better than this. The 14 Best Salads In London That Will Bring You Joy

"A canteen-like spot on Waterloo’s Lower Marsh Road, Balance does a great, healthy lunch in the area. The move is to get one of their hefty salad boxes. The counter is a spread of big bowls, filled with saucy tahini-covered cauliflower mountains and refreshing Greek salads. They change daily but there’s always enough variation to suit everybody, and if there’s something with cauliflower or chickpeas, it’s usually a good bet. Get a mango smoothie as well and take your whole lunch to go." - heidi lauth beasley, daisy meager, sinead cranna, jake missing, rianne shlebak

Google
We had a full english breakfast that was great. Fast and well served. Waiters were very helpful and ready to help. The food was great, nothing to add or take. I was in london for a week and that was the best full english i had. The tables were clean but the place was in need of some organization. Probably a family business and people probably dont really care too much. Still worth for the food and drinks, dont get me wrong!

In my opinion they have London’s best breakfast with wild boar and apple sausages. Highly recommend 👌. Wonderful and friendly staff and lots of options on their menu for all dietary ranges.

OBSESSED with the full English Breakfast here. I can't believe we stumbled upon this place during my first London visit. Exactly what we were looking for...the picture speaks for itself!

I had an excellent All Day Breakfast. The sausages especially were delicious. Great value too. My go to place when I'm down that way from now on.

Small Diner run by a genuinely caring family. We ate a hearty and reasonably priced breakfast many mornings on our short trip.

A thoroughly good choice. A fried breakfast without grease overload. Staff were fab. Tip: There’s lots of hotels in the area. Save your money and stay bed only and come and get breakfast here. 👍🏻

Google
Cute spot for breakfast run by a super friendly family. Generous portions and a very good value. Also quick. Can’t say enough nice things about the place. Don’t be fooled by the very basic interior.

I just wanted to get a cheese sandwich, but they refused. This place was half empty, but the staff said they only do full breakfest.

Yelp
After getting my piccolo repaired I was hungry and up for a spot of lunch. Thankfully there were 5 or 6 sandwich shops or cafés around so I picked the nearest one and headed in. I had a quick look at the selections on offer and feeling in a chicken and sweetcorn mood I plumped for chicken and sweetcorn (surprisingly), with salad on a baguette. There were lots and lots of other fillings to choose from, with lots of mayonnaise mixes as well as normal things on their own. There were seats in the back of the café but I was heading back home to do some revision (yay!) so got it to takeaway, with a slice of their carrot cake, and a drink. It came to a fiver exactly, I paid and headed out. As I needed to get back north of the river, both to get home and also to get out of South London... I walked towards Westminster Bridge and ate my lunch. The baguette was very nice, lots of filling and wrapped in greaseproof paper which did make it slightly tricky to eat but nonetheless it was very tasty, and good bread as well! The carrot cake was marvellous, a bit dry as it was obviously fairly old and wrapped in cling film, but really good, lots of carrot and nutmeg flavour. Lovely experience, the lady who served me was very nice and friendly, telling me to take my time and saying she could make any sandwich I fancied, which was great. And the shop itself looked very tidy. So all in all a great lunch, though I'd be up for comparing the other shops in the same street too as they were all packed with customers and so must all be pretty great in their own rights!
