5⭐+ Great place we stumbled upon and we will definitely be going back. Taco Tuesday is a great deal. We tried steak, check and goat. All were amazing. The owner is very friendly and real. Looking forward to visiting again next time we're back to visit.

Ok spot on h st… there’s just so many other better options. Very impersonal- you have to order from the QR code and they still get your order wrong (each time I’ve come that’s happened). You can people watch on h st but the vibe is def picnic-y. The horchata is delicious but other than that, nothing special in my opinion. I’ve given it a couple shots but won’t be back. Also, super overpriced and mosquito city.

What happened to this place??? The food here used to be good and now it's about the worst Mexican food I've had ever, Taco Bell is better. Cheap meat, bad chips, terrible queso. The nachos didn't even come with beans and I had to pay extra for most every ingredient. Really disappointing. It's also unclean. Don't bother.

This past Sunday it was suggested I visit this spot for some amazing Mexican food for sure 🥑. I said sure and made my way to it after heading to an epic photo event my bestie let me know about!! The staff were friendly and lively especially Chanthu and Jessica (Jess) (I hope I am pronouncing each correct💯.) It was fun chatting it up with Chanthu and she was familiar with MD and an artist. She also gave out some amazing complimentary horchata 🖤. I had to order my TO-GO (not dine-in) order via the app because I guess things haven't transitioned since the pandemic. (I explicitly told Jess it was a to-go order.) It legit cost an arm & a leg and $53.60 for 2 burritos 🌯🌯 (almost Chipotle-size but twice the cost), guac 🥑 on both, the tip, and the CHURROS I never got. Jess put the chocolate sauce in and the guac's on the side (not sure why), put some mild/verde sauce, and no churros...I'm upset and disappointed because this is the second time I order from a fast food place this weekend (Marlboro Pike Popeyes) and they forgot the sauce. So, yeah even though it was a cool looking place it's wild to pay almost $60 that charges for each and every topping and legit forgot my side of churros but not the sauce (check my pictures.) Very confused. Website says they have moved to 723 8th St SE; we go to that location and there are two completely different restaurants occupying that space. Their online kitchen still seems to be taking orders, but their in-person location is no where to be found. No information on their website or Instagram page. Called the phone number listed on this Google listing and it went to Valor Brewhub (one of the restaurants at the location). Very confused and frustrated with this whole experience.

Ordered through DoorDash but I guess they use a third party called Relay for delivery. Communication is poor I called the restaurant 3 times to check on the status of my food as it was 30 min late and still no eta. No one answers the phone, goes straight to VM saying mailbox is full.

Anyone can do tacos, but not like this! If you want flavorful food served up by a friendly staff the Chupacabra delivers. While there I overheard a co-owner talking with patrons about the menu and what they liked. Come to find out they've been in business for 8 years with customers driving in from outside the Beltway. So have a seat, enjoy the sounds of the city, and make some memories over some great food!

Ok Margarita a little on the high end so come here for happy hour. Food -star I ordered a burrito with shredded beef I got a rice and bean burrito with super super shredded fine beef and two cubes of dried beef for the price it was the worst burrito I have ever had Taco bell has more beef then this place. All the salsas taste like the came out of a jar not homemade foreshore. No place to ready dinne I side all is outdoor maybe room for two people inside. Beware or bathroom use went in and came out with a little friend ( cucuracha on my legs ) and my friend came out with one that wait into his shirt) First time here and it will be the last for at least for food give this place a 2 star for the frozen margaritas. Mabe if the place was a little cleaner and more friendly staff.
