Downtown Nashville Residents and Restaurants Attempt to Heal After Christmas Day Bombing | Eater Nashville

"Housed in the historic Cheatham Building—an extraordinary space built in 1852, nearly a decade before Abraham Lincoln’s presidency—the Church Street Lofts contain 17 residential units and are home to residents like Janet Kurtz, her husband Ron Gobbell, and their yellow Labrador Vino; Kurtz represents neighborhood businesses, believes strongly in the community’s collective power, and relied on neighbors to secure her home after the bombing." - Eater

Church Street lofts is more than an apartment, it is a small neighborhood. We gather around the coffee bar and watch news, movies, sports on the large lobby tv. I love living in a historic building , the character, the concrete block walls keep out any noise. My neighbor has a small dog and I never hear her. Yes, Church Street Lofts is more than an apartment, it’s home SO

Lived here for a year in the smallest studio floor plan. Overall, it's a good place for a student, someone in transition between places, or someone who doesn't require much. The flooring and accents are cute and trendy but of course like any other apartment, it has its quirks. The elevators consistently wouldn't work and due to Helene, 1 of the 2 elevators just didn't work at all. The gym is pretty non existent besides a couple treadmills. You do hear a decent amount of sirens and other sounds associated with city living during the day but it was never an issue at night. I loved that I couldn't hear my neighbors either. The front office wasn't terrible and Zach/Zack was great whenever I had maintenance issues. Overall it was a pretty decent place for the price.

There are not enough words to express how amazing it is to live at Church Street Lofts. Julie the manager goes above and beyond for her tenants to make sure they are well taken care of. The quality of living at Church Street Lofts is the feeling peace on earth for me and my little doggie Phoboe, not to mention Julie spoils her every time she sees her! The rooftop is so beautiful to watch either the sunrise or set. To the owners you picked the right manager for your properties hands down.

Check the outside before you book a tour. Didn’t see any photos of these cell towers attached the the building. Idk about you but I’m not living 10 feet away from something like that 😵‍💫😵‍💫😵‍💫

It was important to me to leave a review because before I moved here I didn't find many reviews but I had to share my great experience I lived here for a year it was absolutely the best move I made. Church street lofts are sexy sheek apartments. We lived in a one bedroom, the view was great, private balcony. Julie our apt manager was wonderful anytime I needed anything it was taken care of in a timely manner. I really have no complaints. The roof top parties, friendly neighbors, wonderful staff made our stay here wonderful.

I lived here for a little over 2 years. I loved this place. It was very quiet in terms of you can’t hear your neighbors much at all - which was something important to me. Management is absolutely wonderful and will fix anything you need super quickly as well! Also, the views of Spartanburg, distant mountains, and sunset from your window and the rooftop is amazing. I’m sad to leave but so happy I got to live here for a while!

I love this place! Everything from the cool South Beach vibe, amazing views and rooftop deck with pool; awesome! The building is well looked after and maintained, the staff is professional, friendly and helpful. The apartments are appointed with upscale fixtures and have a sleek zen feel. Mine has a balcony and its fabulous but I've seen the studios and they're nice as well. I have lived here for 3 years and its been awesome all the way through. I highly recommend!

Yelp
I highly recommend Church Street Lofts. The newly renovated lofts are gorgeous! I love the stylish stained concrete floors and the tall venetian ceilings. What a hidden gem in Sparkle City! The tenants are lovely people and everyone has been easy to work with. I cannot say enough positive things about the Property Manager, Julie McGlauglin. She truly cares about your individual needs and goes above and beyond to meet them. My situation was very complicated, and she never made me feel anything but welcome, respected, and appreciated. If you are looking for a loft in Spartanburg, (short or long-term,) you cannot do better than this. I recommend moving quickly.

Yelp
It is horrible! They just don't care of residents! I found my blind fall off when after got home from work. I call the office number and the lady answer the phone just don't call the maintenance because she think it is not emergency! There is maintenance person live right inside the building! I live in the 5th floor, tonight people in the opposite building is going to see whatever I am doing as well as the ppl on the street! How can a apartment just don't give a shit of their resident! --------Update: I post this situation on face book Church Street Residents group, then the office stuff removed me from the group so the review don't show up on their page...

Yelp
I moved in a few months ago and love this place more than any other apartment I have lived in! The beautiful countertops, stainless steel appliances, and original floors are just the beginning. The panoramic view of the city and mountains is breathtaking. The patio is roomie and great for entertaining or for relaxing on a breezy evening. I especially love the fun marble desk/vanity with the faux grass wall. It is a great conversation highlight and treat! The rooms are spacious and trendy for a young professional like myself. I also appreciate the staff who are super friendly, approachable, and helpful. They plan apartment mingle events on a regular basis that are actually fun and have good attendance. They keep the place clean and pretty with unique accents. I cannot wait to use the rooftop pool and deck more often this summer, but I already have enjoyed hanging out with friends up there to get outside but sit back and just listen to the city while drinking a glass of wine and hang out. This is the place to be downtown!

Yelp
Note: I am NOT management - as I clearly stated, I knew nothing about Spartanburg or this place and, again, as stated, am not even a huge fan of this town. I've never reviewed anything on Yelp but A) have had such a great experience at Church Street and B) This guy below is really annoying me. Just in case anyone actually believes "Corky" (way to keep anonymity going - you're clearly very proud of your 5 million 1-star reviews.)
