Unique concept in a cute location! Can definitely say the cereal ice cream is different from anything I’ve heard had. Very Christina Tosi Milk Bar inspired which I enjoy. The actual shop itself is tiny so the line tends to get long, but they move it along pretty fast. There’s a side area with tables for seating that fills up rather quickly on summer nights. Prices are high for Ice cream, even on the island, but it’s worth an every once in a while treat!

The ice cream has cereal chunks in it and is fantastic. The texture combination is unbelievable with soft smooth ice cream and miniature cereal chunks. Quite pricey though at $10/ scoop Nice outdoor seating area to the side

I really love good ice cream. This particular ice cream is amazing. The churned in cereal is really special, and the added toppings add flare. My husband loves it here because they also have vegan options which helps him since he’s allergic to dairy.

Churn House always hits the spot! Their ice cream is so delicious, and they get so creative with all of the cereal combos. You won’t want to miss out on this spot when you’re in OCNJ!

2023 loses stars due to a considerable drop in portion size compared to 2022. The ‘sweet tooth’ ($8) is delicious, our favorite. Our complaint is the portion size shrunk considerably in 2023 compared to 2022(see pics). As a special treat, If it’s your first time, watch your treat being churned and as they flush out the blender, ask them where the ‘milk water’ goes?

Service was fantastic. Both the employee who took our order and the one who made them had smiles on their faces and were chatting with guests. Despite there being a substantial line when we showed up we were in and out in a very reasonable time. The outdoor dining area looked very nice though we didn't use it. Ice cream was tasty and inventive though a bit pricey ($7-9 each)

Another unique dessert spot to add to my list of favorites! They have a huge number of combinations you can order - lots of cereal choices, blended into chocolate or vanilla ice cream with plenty of toppings too! You can make your own combo or chose from their menu - I was recommended The Boardwalk and it did not disappoint! This is a chill spot - friendly staff, an area for outdoor seating. Good vibes all around.

They also have a great instagram so be sure to follow them. We have a been a few times because they have so many mix-in/topping options and I want to try them all. This time I got a Vanilla waffle cone with Frosted Flakes and rainbow jimmies (yes jimmies because we are in New Jersey). My girlfriend got the "Surfer Joe", which is Vanilla/Chocolate ice cream swirled with Special K mixed in, topped with pretzels, heath bar, and chocolate syrup. It even came with a surf board and flower lei. Churn House has an awesome outdoor seating area. Because the ice cream is mixed, it does melt rather quickly. However, you do not want to miss this place! They are open from 2pm until 11pm so they are rarely too busy. Thanks for adding some a new favorite to the dessert scene in OC!

I absolutely love this place. Yes, it's definitely far from all the hustle and bustle in downtown OC but it's 100% worth the drive every single time. I live in Somers Point, so it's not too too far from me, but it's definitely a little bit of a drive for ice cream. Believe the hype. It's that amazing! I would describe it as crunchy cereal soft serve. You can pick something off their menu or make your own thing. I definitely recommend the Boardwalk - it's legit one of the best things I've ever had (and I've had a lot of ice cream). Their cute little outside patio is dog friendly and they have live music some nights. Super cute place... hope they never close!

Had a stay in Ocean City, NJ, and came here after my sister saw it on Tik Tok. Service was friendly and gave us an explanation of options and even some recommendations. Cute corner lot with outdoor seating, flowers, and fun music. Reasonably priced and close to the boardwalk. Awesome experience. Will def come back here.

The power of Instagram is strong! I hadn't heard of this shop before, but it showed up as I was scrolling on my friend's deck and I was intrigued. We took a walk down and were impressed with how well their system worked to keep the line moving. The directions were clear-choose cup, cone, milkshake, or kiddie cup. Choose soft serve flavor. Choose cereal. Choose topping and sauce. Boom-perfection! I enjoyed a cup of soft serve twist with Cookie Crisp and s'mores, Heath bar bits and peanut butter topping. Can't wait to go back!

Love this place!! Just started going here last year and once I found it we went everyday we were in town! Hidden gem! But can be very busy!

Unique ice cream place is an Ocean City staple! Churn House is my favorite ice cream place on the island! They have unique ice creams which they churn cereal into. I always go with the vanilla ice cream and get fruity pebbles mixed in and on top! There is outdoor seating located next to the restaurant in a cute courtyard. The restaurant itself is very small and there is no indoor seating so the line often wraps outside the building. Most workers there are kind and willing to help if you need assistance picking out the ice creams. Every order comes with an ice cream of choice, drizzle, cereal churned in, and topping. Because of this, the prices may seem a bit pricey ($7-8 for a regular) but it's all because of the unique and elite ice creams they have to offer. All in all, I will continue going back and looking forward to indulging in the sweet tooth ice cream! Yum!

It is so good. I would have this everyday if I could. I loved watching them make my ice cream. I went with my sisters and we each got something different and loved everything.

Sure is the spot for the vacationing teenagers, they were lined-up outside the door, around the corner and down the street. Concept is a build your own ice cream... pick your ice cream flavor, pick a cereal to mix-in, select a topping and then a drizzle. Nice courtyard like area to sit outside and enjoy your purchase. Live music on Thursday nights in the summer between 7 and 9. Comparatively great prices for what they deliver. What the heck, let's stop in here every night, we're on vacation!

This isn't any ice cream spot! Churn house has managed to combine two of my favorite childhood and adult snacks-ice cream and cereal. @churnhouseoc offers a variety of cereal, ice cream, and toppings. Choose from their menu or create your own favorite-flavor profile. Oh, and don't forget to try their milkshakes! *the also offer a vegan option Make sure ya tip the girls at the counter they were super helpful in making my selection.

I've been coming here since opening night and have never had a bad experience! Definitely worth the wait in line for a unique ice cream experience with endless possibilities of flavor combos and they are all great. Even the plane custard is top tier and there ever even allergen and vegan options!

It was not good. Service stunk and they were rude and rushing me. I stood there for 10 seconds deciding what i wanted while there was only one person behind me and it was 2 hours before closing time. they tried to do something cool with there ice cream but failed miserably would not suggest.

If you have the time and patience, this place is worth the wait! It is a tiny gem almost at the end of the island. There were good vibes all around from the clean environment to the fun and friendly staff. They were all jamming like they truly enjoyed working there. How could you not? It just truly sets the tone for your visit. The soft serve is rich, decadent, and full of flavor. And the churning of the cereal? - it's like 100x better than cold stone. The vegan ice cream is just as good as the regular stuff! Enjoy!

I was skeptical about cereal being infused into my ice cream, but it is amazing. It's so light that you don't feel the heaviness in your stomach when you're finished.

Such a great ice cream place! They have so many choices and combinations to choose from. Everything was delicious and the place was very clean. We ate in their outdoor space and played some table games. Definitely will be back again!

BEST EVER IF haven't vist this place , your either living under a rock or watching wayyy to much Netflix .. This is better than Alamode , aunt Betties , and cheap Byrers at Johnny B Good . The staff there are the best people in the world and super helpful . The girl at the counter suggested the " Krookie , and i was Why not , and I LOVE IT . It's like ice cream in heaven in your mouth . This place isn't a regular ice cream place it's all soft serve and u can customize your own ice cream with CERAL. . Went on Memorial Day weekend had to wait exactly 22 min in line but definitely worth the wait! This ice cream is the absolute best. Recommend it even if you have to wait! Also he vegan options too you don't see that every where!

Just tried Churn House for the first time and we loved it. Between the four of us (two parents, two kids) I think we tried almost all of the toppings and mix-ins. Great staff, terrific ice cream! Very unique.

What a fresh delicious take on ice cream. I love that it's real ice cream w the texture of soft serve. Great selection of sizes and options. Staff is friendly and patient (I wasn't sure what to get). Great outdoor space to eat and hang.

Cool experience. Really massive portion size (don't bother with the kids size - for 2 bucks more you get about 10 times the ice cream. Really like that the waffle cone is standard and there are so many options for mix ins and toppings. Kids loved it - will definitely come here again. Also - don't be afraid if there is a line out the door - they are super efficient and I was shocked how fast they move people through - really efficient assembly line going. Oh - and there's a great side yard with a bunch of tables and string lights overhead for enjoying your creation.

Lactose intolerant people aren't able to love ice cream. I ate vegan vanilla for the first time. Plain, soy based ice cream. And it was AMAZING! The toppings are gorgeous, and the insta vibe is super cool. There's a courtyard with patio lights, spectacular landscaping, table games and super chill music. But it's also really... great... ice cream. Expect this place to continue to grow in popularity! Skip a night up at the boardwalk, head over to Churn House, make a friend in line and enjoy your experience! 2-11pm

My wife wanted to treat me to ice cream and suggested we try this place. I just got a plain cone and my wife a swirl cone. The size of the cone was huge. The ice cream was fresh and really good. The cones were freshly made. We will be brining our daughter and grandkids here.
