"Churon bills itself as a bit of France in Temecula, and has a chateau to prove it. The chateau is actually a boutique hotel in the midst of the vines." - Richard Nalley

Nothing but great things to say about this place. Wow!! This was our first stay and we were so very happy with everything and everyone. The attentiveness was outstanding. The staff here at Churon are so friendly and accommodating. We stayed off every morning with a fabulous complimentary breakfast. This was no continental breakfast. You're able to order what you like from their breakfast menu. It was all delicious!! You receive a ticket for a complimentary wine or mimosa every day. I have to say our waiter Christopher was outstanding. Extremely friendly and always so helpful. Our room was very clean even though it was a bit antique it was absolutely romantic. The balconies were kept up. No dust on the chairs or table and floors were always swept. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. We will be trying Churon Winery in the summer season. We'd like to compare the seasons. We'll be back for sure!!

My wife and I love staying at the Inn at Churon Winery! The rooms are spacious and comfortable with a French cottage feel. Some king rooms have a whirlpool tub, gas fireplace and balcony to take in the lovely views of the Temecula Valley. Be sure to request one of those rooms. Weekend mornings, hot air balloons can be seen taking flight. The tasting room is quaint with a European village vibe. There was entertainment Friday night and bingo on Saturday while we were there. You can order food while tasting and grab a table which is a nice option. Our wine server Valerie was attentive and fun. The breakfast is amazing and served in the dining room or patio with delicious options such as French Toast, Eggs Benedict, Croissant sandwich or Omelette. Coffee, tea and water were also abundant. Our server Christopher was friendly, and attentive. The property grounds has several levels with tables, chairs and a couch here and there to take in the outdoors while enjoying a glass of wine and a snack. The GM Robert was always helpful and he made sure we received our complimentary bottle of wine and daily drink and breakfast tickets. There are no elevators or bell hops so if you need help with luggage going upstairs you can ask the front desk.

My husband and I’s first time at a vineyard, we did a tasting and were pleasantly surprised at how good everything was. I also ordered a lemon cake to snack on and it was delicious. Staff were friendly and welcoming. I fell in love with the courtyard area; the cleanliness, the landscaping, the view!!! Hopefully we can come back when the grapes are in season, I’m sure it would be a sight to see!!!

Google
I took my wife to Churon Winery and we really had a good time sampling the different wines and snacks. Cuvee sparkling wine is a must try. We walked the grounds and enjoyed our visit. I would recommend Churon Winery if you like or love wine.

Google
This has become my favorite winery in Temecula because of the atmosphere and one of my favorite wines. Everyone here is so friendly and knowledgeable. It's such a relaxed atmosphere here. The wines are amazing. Try the Sweet Ruby or one of their many flights. The special mix using white mango is delicious! The outside grounds and vineyards are so pretty as are their hotel rooms! We come to Churon first, and last every trip! Come see Dani and Valerie in the tasting room. They are the best!

Google
Such a lovely place to stay. Beautiful rooms with views of the vines. So quiet that we slept with the balcony door open. Very spacious room with a fireplace and large bathroom with tub and separate shower. Comfortable bed with cozy sheets. Sit on the balcony with a glass of wine in the evening or with a cup of coffee in the AM and you won't be disappointed.

Google
Gorgeous, quiet and romantic! This is perfect for a quick getaway or an event location. It's close to many local wineries. The views are amazing during the day and at night the lights are beautiful. They offer breakfast and wine tasting. We will definitely be back!

Google
Nice staff, interesting grounds but very dated rooms. We did not come for the winery but simply to stay overnight to attend a wedding nearby. We did sample some wine which was good but they are in need of a complete makeover of their rooms. No need for details but I would give them a 3 star rating at best. Here's hoping they invest in a complete renovation as the location is nice.

Ericka R.

Yelp
Best environment I have been to in a long time! Scenery is absolutely beautiful! Hotel room was one of a kind! Suite was perfect! Patio, view, clean, perfect! I enjoyed Bingo as a fun outing downstairs. The food was also delicious. Every recommendation was excellent. Wine was just the right temperatures! Staff were friendly, information was freely given too. I would definitely come back!

Yelp
This is the first winery, I've ever visited where they just hand you a flight and the menu. Meaning, they don't talk you through anything. Share history, nothing, just legit brought out the flight. We bought a Groupon for the premier tasting w/a charcuterie board. The wine was subpar to say the least, but the board was cool. They double filled the short wine glasses, with the expectation of us to pour/separate the wine into our bigger glasses. The view outside is amazing. It was nice inside, but too cold for me.

Lola B.

Yelp
Mondays and Tuesdays the cafe is not open. If you want a charcuterie board, make sure to call in on Sunday or Saturday so they can have someone make it for Monday or Tuesday. We didn't make it on Sunday to do the wine tasting so we had to do it on Monday and missed out on the fresh charcuterie board. But the prepackaged one wasn't bad. Th reason for only four stars is because the cafe was closed and our Groupon deal wasn't with a fresh charcuterie board. But the service was A+. I wish we could have grabbed a bite to eat here instead of having to drive out on Monday and Tuesday. The wine flight was delicious. I wish we could choose between the sweets, reds or whites or the one they offered. But what we tried was OK. The area to grab a glass of wine is cute. You can sit anywhere around the Inn. Everything was super clean. The server was nice. And she was knowledgeable. We did buy two bottles of Mango wine to take home. They were gooooood. We will be back.

Yelp
Ample parking and decent view of the valley makes it very convenient to enjoy a glass along wine without too much of a commitment.

TANISHA W.

Yelp
Absolutely love! We've been members of Churon for years and have really enjoyed our membership and time here. The people are super friendly and the low key vibe here is amazing. I love coming on the weekends when it happens to be above band. The weekend food is amazing as well. I love the shrimp Caesar salad, the Jalapeno Poppers, and can't forget about those Fish Tacos. This place is a hidden gem and a must visit. Make sure to take a walk down where they perform wedding ceremonies. It's a beautiful sight.

MaDonna W.

Yelp
We seem to stay at this hotel quite often. And I'm gonna tell you it's not for the wine because we really didn't care for their wines. However, the customer service the level of attention that was given to us and the fact that the rooms are so comfortable. We had a beautiful fireplace. The beds were so comfy, best nights rest. And then to wake up in the morning to a full hot complementary breakfast in the restaurant or on their large patio was perfect , as we were getting ready to go start our day of wine tasting. The staff members are just incredibly sweet. You can host weddings at this property and events plenty of room to host any kind of party that you would want. The parking is free . There are some dog friendly rooms. Ask for room 206 best beds.

Deb M.

Yelp
We visited Temecula to visit two wineries and purchase/ship wine home. There are a lot of wineries in Temecula so we decided to go here as we were driving by and liked the look of the winery. We loved it here. The service was very good. The wine is excellent. Full bodied and wonderful tasting. We purchased a case of wine. It was a great place to visit.

Darci M.

Yelp
Came back for another tasting. The staff are so nice and the views are great with a breeze and greenery. They have limited wines and I didn't hear about the membership but we will try and stop again and support the smaller wineries

Lily C.

Yelp
Beautiful romantic place, great food, great service. Enjoyed my visit and would definitely come back again.

Tina A.

Yelp
Peaceful and quaint winery/inn. Beautiful place with a nice ambiance and cozy vibes. It was a little warm outside at the time we arrived so we opted to have our wine flight inside. When you enter the lobby, descend down the marble staircase till you get to the wine bar and Cafe. They have plenty of seating down there and it's super cute. The also have some cute things for purchase. The ladies at the wine bar were super welcoming and they were very generous with the pours. They offer a wide selection of wines from Sweet to dry. We went with the Sweet wine flight which comes with 4 tastings. They were all delicious. My favorite was the #1 seller Mazing Mango. I ended up buying a bottle to bring home. It was so delicious. I can't wait to serve it with friends!

Nolita N.

Yelp
I've been here twice with my family, and both times had a great experience. I love that they're family friendly and the staff were more than happy to talk to my 14 year old sister and answer her random questions lol. Anyways, about the wine: I love the sparkling wines here! I've tried the Passionate Peach and 'Mazing Mango and both are really fruity, sweet, and refreshing. The bottles were also only $24.99 each, so I think it was a great deal. One of the times, we also got a red wine -- I didn't try it, so I can't say whether it was good or not. Like other reviewers have said, the tasting room is downstairs, to the left of the entrance. It's a cute tasting room with a reserved section and a main area that's set up to mimic Paris. So there's the option of sitting and hanging out in the tasting room, or there are 2 outside areas you could enjoy your drink and explore. One area is close to the entrance, near the parking lot and the other area is kind of on the side of the building (just go upstairs and through the glass door opposite of the entrance door).

Richard R.

Yelp
The location, environment, staff, wine, and the clean & spacious room was great! If you are in Temecula, CA., and need a relaxing place to stay, this is it. (Be sure to get a room with a view). Thanks to all the staff that made our visit enjoyable. We will be back for sure.

Sara R.

Yelp
We tried the sweet flight and White flight. Loved the Mazing Mango and Sweet Ruby in sweet flight. Chardonnay and Sauvignon are great if you are a white wine drinker. Nice view outside the wine tasting area. Loved it

Rachel E.

Yelp
Purchased a Groupon for 2 wine tasting flights for $27 (Mon-Fri). Visited on a Friday afternoon. The wine was great! Highly recommend the red blackberry wine! We also ordered food, BBQ chicken flatbread and jalapeño poppers. Both were so good! You can choose to sit inside or out on the patio, which is out the door up a flight of stairs, and enjoy the views! Note: there are no fans or misters on the patio. We opted to stay inside as it was a very hot day. Highly recommend! We will return!

Jennifer R.

Yelp
This was a very beautiful winery. However, we had terrible customer service. We waited over an hour and a half for our order. I went downstairs to question where my order was nicely. The waitress was extremely rude only to run up to our table 15 minutes later because she never put in our order in, she did not apologize for her mistake. We ordered the tri-tip sandwich. The tri-tip was very tough and was sliced very big for a sandwich. Resulting in my husband having a piece of meat stuck in his throat. Not a very good experience. I apologize for not knowing the name of the server because the other servers seemed ok.

Patrick F.

Yelp
My wife and I find Churon to be our go to Winery in Temecula. The staff is fantastic and the wine selection is great. They have nice food selections on the weekend. Plus they often have really nice live music on weekends as well. I highly recommend Churon for a relaxing wine tasting experience.

Faye L.

Yelp
This was our 2nd stop for our wine tour with group of friends. Plenty of parking as well for this winery. It looked like a hotel to me (not sure if they have accommodations. The tasting room is downstairs upon entering the winery building. It had a charming (older) feel to it. Staff had reserved a table for us with a name card so that was super cool. You order from the bar, pay, and food items are delivered when ready. I opted for a glass of wine again and ordered a charcuterie board for all of us to share while waiting for more friends to arrive from LA. The bartenders were so friendly and welcoming. The charcuterie board was generous and beautiful. It was loaded with plenty of meats, cheeses, fruit, and crackers. It went wonderfully with our wines. I can't remember the exact price of board and wine but know it was pricey. The tables were all safely spaced apart so social distancing was respected and observed here for sure. I had a great time at Churon and would recommend trying them if you're in the area.

Alyanna C.

Yelp
Did a quick stop at this winery while we were on our way back to San Diego from Murrieta. We were lured in by a Groupon deal for a tasting flight for two. Came a little before sunset around 4:00 pm... and although their last call was at 4:30 pm (they close at 5 pm), we didn't feel rushed as we went through our tasting flight. The property is beautiful with an old style building - I didn't realize it was partially an inn as well. I thought it was cute the bar area was very decorated with the cheesy cobblestone French village wallpaper decor (you'll have to look at other Yelp photos to see what I mean). The winery itself has a really nice terrace area for outdoor seating with a view of the valley, but if you're willing to walk a little farther from the tasting room there are other patio areas to sit at with more open views. For the tasting flight, you pick it up at the bar and can choose between different flights. They'll pour everything into tasting glasses on a board you carry. My fiance went for the red flight while I opted for the "sweet" flight. No grief over redeeming a Groupon and the staff were really friendly. The reds weren't nothing to write home about... which was pretty disappointing since we were told Temecula specialized in red wines. They all tasted pretty flat, not a lot of robust flavor or mouth feel. Some were also pretty heavy on the tannin. I was impressed with the sweet flight though - I've never really seen that offered at a winery, and I think it's a great option for folks who aren't into wine / can't handle tannin. All the sweet wines weren't too sweet or overpowering... they were quite light, refreshing, and fruity. If it wasn't for the fact I had a flight and didn't want to check in luggage, I totally would have bought a bottle since they were better value than the reds (at least IMO). Overall, it was a pleasant experience and introduction into the wine country of Temecula.

Yelp
Churon Winery is absolutely stunning! There is something about this place when you drive up the hill and arrive to the winery. The views are absolutely beautiful, and I love the fireplace in the entrance where you check into the hotel. The wine flights of red/white are the perfect pour amounts to let you try a variety of there wines. I recommend trying the charcuterie board as well. This board pairs with the wine so well. It was excellent!! Will return back, thank you Churon!

Marella M.

Yelp
Great wine and food was good ! The location is great too ! Highly recommend the shrimp tacos and the veggie flatbread

Yelp
I got married at Churon Winery in February and my husband and I are so happy the decision we made to have our wedding here and overall experience with Churon. If you're looking for a wedding venue, PLEASE, look no further and book with Churon. Not only are the views stunning for photos, but the overall atmosphere and aesthetic look of the venue is stunning. Being a bride having communicative vendors and top tier service is so important (especially when you're paying so much $). The entire staff at Churon, especially Vanessa our coordinator, Enrique the head chef and hotel manager Robert, were amazing to work with. My coordinator Vanessa was so responsive, kind, professional, calm, knowledgeable and helpful in every step of the wedding planning process. Trust me, she is the one you want to have as your coordinator. Our chef, Enrique who prepared the buffet meal service for our guests did a phenomenal job. When we had our food tasting he was very friendly, thorough and professional In explaining and providing the meal options. We opted for the Sea Bass , Tri tip, scalloped potatoes, roasted veggies and spinach salad. Me being the bride and a few other guests who don't eat meat, Enrique was able to accommodate a vegetarian plate for us to ensure we eat. I've been to several weddings and special events were they were pricey but the food isn't the best. A lot of the wedding food I've had in several past events was served cold and or mediocre. I hate to say I wasn't expecting much from Churon, but to my surprise, the food quality was excellent! Several of my guests approached me all throughout the evening of my wedding and even afterwards, expressing their satisfaction with the food and the wine (we had open bar package). All of my guests enjoyed the meal and said it was the best wedding food they had. Hotel manager Robert, was very easy to talk to, and work with. Your guests get a small discount for booking and staying at the winery. Throughout this process I would work with Robert to ensure room assignments for my guests. He was always quick to respond to emails and phone calls and ensured everything went as smoothly as possible. Early morning the day after the wedding, my guests loved seeing the view of hot air balloons from their balcony rooms. The entire wedding was perfect. The staff was great, the venue is gorgeous, the service is subpar and the backdrop of the grand gazebo makes for gorgeous photos. My husband and I, loved that this isn't just a winery, but also a hotel. after an evening of celebrating, drinking wine and dancing, your guests can conveniently walk to their rooms. Overall great experience and I'd rate this 5/5. Everyone has expressed their opinion about our wedding and I can't even tell you how many times my fam and friends said this was the most perfect wedding and the best wedding they've been too! My husband jokingly said he wanted to have another wedding celebration at Churon because yes, it was that perfect! Thank you all for making our wedding flawless, perfect and fun!

Sierra C.

Yelp
I got a Groupon for the wine tasting for two. Driving up to the winery was beautiful and there was great weather when we went. The wine tasting room is in a little downstairs area with some cute French decorations and paintings. I was a bit disappointed that there wasn't any outside seating options, at least not to my knowledge. I got the sweet flight which came with a combination of white and red wines. My favorite though was the Mazing Mango. It was sweet and bubbly and just absolutely delicious. After our tasting we walked a bit around the winery and it was just so cute. I would recommend trying Churon out!

Holly B.

Yelp
Had a Groupon to check this winery out. Cute tasting room and wine was great. They also have food not just snacks! May come back for lunch sometime. The mango sparkling was delicious

Gary M.

Yelp
Aside from the fact that the wines taste so good, Doreen and Danni are so awesome! They're friendly and really know wine. I've been a wine club member for years and have been well taken care of. I highly recommend Churon Winery and the hotel!

Chris T.

Yelp
The view from the terrace is amazing. The wines are good. The Pinot Grigio was our favorite white and the Malbec was our favorite red. We didn't have time for the tour because we got a late start but if you're in the area this place is worth checking out. It has all the over the top gaudy decor you'd expect which makes it very charming.

Ravi L.

Yelp
Amazing Winery. Enjoyed a relaxing weekend there. Comfortable room, and amazing breakfast. Robert, the GM is the Quintessential host. Je Revien!! Thank You!!

Laurie L.

Yelp
Pretty place, kind of weird set up. You have to go in the basement to get your wine then walk up stairs if you want to sit outside. And you can't fully see the view from their sitting area. We had gotten a Groupon for two wine tastings. We did the red and white. The wine just wasn't very good. It grew on us after a little while but we really didn't enjoy it. Giving it an extra star because they are one of the few wineries in the area that allow dogs on their patio and their inside space is cute from what I could see. The outside seating space isn't much to look at. Don't plan to go back.

Sandy H.

Yelp
What a beautiful place, quiet, great scenery and our room was perfect! Check in was easy, staff was very friendly and explained things well. Even when we went to get our complimentary glass of wine after check in, the staff was super helpful with great recommendations. Ended up leaving with 2 bottles oh my! Breakfast was yummy and we got a lot of food! Will definitely be back! It was the perfect little getaway away for now and my hubby.

Julie A.

Yelp
This is the third time we have stayed at this winery. This stay we felt the breakfast should have been better. The coffee is not good. It tastes like it came out of a large coffee urn. In this day and age, coffee should be the best you can get. We asked for toast in addition to the eggs Benedict and we're told it would be $2 extra. No problem. We got the single slice of toast that was the cheapest bread you can buy. One slice. The food was not good. It seemed a little stale. Our server Christopher was attentive though. The room was really nice but every time the AC turned off we heard a loud knocking noise for about 20 minutes. ‍ The views are beautiful and the room balcony is very private which is nice.

Jazmine R.

Yelp
This place is so cute! I came here because I had the Groupon wine taster for two and it came with two souvenirs glasses. They have pre picked flights for you! They all pair very well together and they also recommend drinking them in a specific order. I also ordered the grilled chicken sandwich and it was very juicy and not dry at all. It was very tasty with the sauce/salsa they come with on the side. They also have charcuterie boards and other foods as well, but it is very limited. It is also an inn so you can stay there for the night if you book in advance! The only down side was the vines were a little bit of an eye sore but I can imagine it isn't in season at the moment so that wasn't much of a problem. Would definitely come back because their wines are delicious!

Shani S.

Yelp
So very very disappointed in our stay. I travel the world and have stayed at a variety of different hotels, condos, bed-and-breakfast, Vineyards you name it I have tried it. I very RARELY write a negative review but based on my 1 night stay here, I felt the need to write this in hopes this establishment can make changes and do better in the future. I DO believe people need to give good and bad feedback so establishments get a true picture of how they are doing and can strive to always do their best. We stayed just 1 night, in February 2022. 1) 5 minutes after checking into our room, fireplace did not work, had to call for service 2) alarm for the bathtub kept going off and it is extremely loud. The alarm is if it gets wet it sets off this alarm. It was very annoying. We had to call an after hours service phone number and the person barely spoke English is very difficult to understand how to turn it off. 3) WE COULD NOT USE OUR TOILET! Yes, could not believe we couldn't use our toilet!!! The toilet handle broke and they did not have any repair parts. So they gave us a key that we had to go down our hallway, up a flight of stairs to a different room just to use the bathroom. 4) In the morning, you get complimentary breakfast. The dining area was literally 10 feet from our back patio door. They only have a small outside seating area, the rest you have to sit inside in a very unattractive space. So we asked if we could sit on our patio with the breakfast. We said "we can order in the dining area and just take our food and sit outside 10 feet away". We were told this: "We do not make special exceptions for our guests." You can't do that." Wow.. Never in all of my stays, anywhere, have I been told that. So then we said OK, we will sit in the dining room and get our food "to go "thinking we'll just walk the 10 feet to our patio and eat it. He said we couldn't do that either. We then said can we order the room service? We were told we're not able to do that either as you have to order room service by 7 PM the night before. So instead of waking up and having a wonderful breakfast overlooking the beautiful Vineyard we just checked out as early as we could. The final straw was the checkout process. Being in the customer service background it takes very little effort for somebody to simple ask "what can we do to make the situation better?" All that we would've asked is "can we just take some French toast, coffee and a glass of orange juice to our patio, 10 feet away?" If we would've had the opportunity to finish our stay in a place, with a beautiful view together, it would've made a world of difference. Instead she just charged our card, offered a bottle of wine which we politely refused and that was it. Just a very poor 1 night stay.

Carina G.

Yelp
The fish tacos are A MUST HAVE! So delicious and perfect amount of everything ! Also the white and rosé wines incredible will go again

Tricia P.

Yelp
The food is delicious and the staff are amazing Paula and Cesar . They made our stay the best above and beyond in customer service. Julie was also very sweet and welcoming at the front desk

Lori A.

Yelp
Absolutely beautiful winery, both inside and outside. The wines were all wonderful! We did a tasting of white and one of red. We will return!

Lyn S.

Yelp
My home currently contains I've 100 bottles of wine from Churon-- this is my Happy Place and they create the best wines CA has to offer. The Gold Nectar and the Chocolate Bliss are my (almost) daily ritual drinks. The staff could not be better and the entire chateau is lovely. I adore Churon Winery & can hardly wait to return.

Veronica S.

Yelp
The fish tacos are amazing. You wouldn't guess to go to a winery for fish tacos, but if you're in wine country you need to try them. The fish is crunchy, and fresh. The pico de gallo they use is delicious and fresh as well. The corn tortilla seals the deal along with the sauce they use. The view up there is beautiful and of course there's wine! Inside and outside seating areas available. And outside you can sit in the shade or get some sun. The employees are always friendly, courteous and make you feel welcomed. are a must.

Dr ED M.

Yelp
We got the sweet flights and the red. Everyone is so nice here; we were talking about our bunny. The gals in the back are awesome. I love the NV RED ROYALE, it is a custom blend of 56 syrah, 27 cabernet sauvignon, and 17 tempranillo followed by soft tannins and layers of apples and cherry. The best in the sweet is the Mazing mango. It is fresh picked mangos with sweet flavors if mango and peaches. Make sure you tip the bartenders.

Deron R.

Yelp
Right across the road from Bolero and Callaway, this is a more chill winery than the cattle call that is Callaway (I know, I've been bagging on Callaway a bit for obvious reasons...) Nevertheless, this is a nice place for some Saturday fun in the afternoon- nice patio area with music, etc... Hotel attached, but did not check that out. pro tip - to get away from any crowds, go do to the are where they hold weddings (when there is no wedding happening of course!) and chill down there with your wine- go get you some

Nat D.

Yelp
It was our first winery experience and it did not disappoint! The view was beautiful. The patio was comfortable and had plenty of shade. We were there on a Saturday at 1pm and caught some live music. It was a fun experience. We also tried jalapeño poppers, so delicious! Thank you to the ladies who helped us and made us feel welcome

Elizabeth D.

Yelp
My favorite part about this winery is the grounds. The outside patio seating feels like a terrace in Italy. The view from the patio is gorgeous with spectacular photo opportunities especially if you're there at sunset. The staff at the bar downstairs were a little unfriendly, but we learned that there was a wedding going on so we figured maybe it was stress. The reds were a little bitter for my taste but I really enjoyed the white wines. The inn looks beautiful even though we only saw the outside and lobby because we weren't guests. It was so inviting that we're thinking about having a weekend staycation there! This winery seemed pretty quiet, so I would recommend a date day or if you're a larger party, starting your day here. Great for all group sizes really.

Terry K.

Yelp
Churon Winery is a part of this vast establishment of hotel, party venue, restaurant and vineyard. This review is on the Winery itself. Churon Winery is located on the main drag of Winery Row. They have a variety of award winning sippings. The tasting room has a bunch of wine related retail objects for sale. They have a 5 course tasting menu and several to choose from each varietal. Unfortunately, they don't have a special price to the purchase of any bottle after your sampling. Fortunately, they have a wine tasting deal on Groupon with not bad of a price. The 5 course sampling comes with a souvenir wine glass. Parking on the property plentiful. Staff enjoyable. Ambiance pleasant.

Elva C.

Yelp
Super chill winery. The cheese board and sweet flight was my favorite! Definitely going back

Jamie T.

Yelp
My friends and I bought a Groupon and it was well worth it. You get what you pay for so don't expect to get a lot. The views are beautiful, the drinks are good and the charcuterie is a must. We came to watch the sunset, but the staff did not end up turning on the porch lights and we were left in the dark. Which is why I knocked one star off because who doesn't turn on the exterior lights or check on their customers outdoors.

Andrew D.

Yelp
Update: They reached out to let me know they would be looking into this and would get back to me. They never followed up. I waited a moment before posting posting this on Yelp.. but they had over a month to figure out what went wrong. tldr: Use at your own risk for events or special occasions. Is fine for wine tasting though. --- This is a really nice location to visit. The tasting room is large and has plenty of space to sit and enjoy your wine. The rooms are comfortable and spacious, and the views of the vineyard are available from multiple rooms, from the dining hall, and from an upstairs area that is connected to the tasting room via a staircase. If you are looking for a place to go wine tasting, I recommend it. -- However, if you are looking to stay here for the night, and especially if this is for a special occasion - they are not reliable, they are disorganized, careless, and unprofessional. They need to get some processes in order before they can be relied for a stay. I booked a reservation for my wedding night weeks in advance. I called ahead to confirm the reservation (and this was successful, I spoke to a representative, and she told me the reservation was set). It seemed like everything was ready to go. On the night of the wedding, at 8:45 pm, Churon calls me for something, I am busy and do not pick up (it's my wedding night folks!) They do not leave a message, they don't text, they don't email. Shortly after 9pm I see that they have called.. I am alarmed at this, there should be no reason for a phone call. I call them multiple times over the next hour. I have to leave my wife and the reception to step outside and deal with this. I begin to research other places to stay for the night (during my reception, I was so upset). An hour goes by, we finally send the bride's maid to Churon to see if they have someone at the front desk. Mind you, our check in time is 11pm, and this was established over the phone with the rep. Also, their final check in time is 11:30pm. No one is at the front desk.. but there is a note for late check in, in involves calling a number so that someone can let you in. I call this number, and the lady now knows that we are coming. This procedure should have been made known to us when we made the reservation, or else emailed or communicated to us in some other fashion ahead of time. As we are driving over to Churon, the lady calls back to make sure we're coming.. we just talked 15 minutes ago, I don't appreciate this. The idea was to enjoy a quiet breakfast in the room the next day. The reception person explained that we could set this up during check in.. but this wasn't the case, this is only if you check in during their normal hours. And again, we discussed over the phone that we'd be checking in late, so they easily could have anticipated that we need to ask for breakfast ahead of time (which I did, but the lady said that they couldn't put that in their system until check in (but apparently not late check in)). This was my experience with Churon. The room was not cheap, but the experience was. Churon - get it together. Your customer service and procedures needs to match your prices and the rest of your winery. Higher consultants to access your processes, fix them. Get your system up to date so that you can leave notes regarding quests. Communicate information ahead of time. If you call a guest, be available to receive a phone from them. You have my information, reach out with any questions. This was late October.

Yelp
This is a convenient winery with a hotel on site. We stayed here few months ago coming back !!! It has beautiful views delicious wines. If you stay at the hotel breakfast included. A little pricey for a one nights stay but it's a lovely weekend getaway !!

Yelp
We got our complimentary glasses of wine for our stay from here, plus we did wine flights tastings two separate times during our stay, so we were able to try the red, white, and sweet flight. The Mazing Mango is a fabulous sweet wine! I also quite enjoyed their Cuvee and their Vin Rouge. The wine tasting area is located downstairs in a cute French decorated area. Only thing is, you have to walk back upstairs to get to the outdoor seating area. A little odd, but whatevs! Didn't get a chance to try their food because they apparently only serve food on weekends and we were staying during the week. They do have a little fridge with prepackaged charcuterie you can purchase from, but we opted out.

Yelp
This place is always a winner with us. The place is gorgeous and the ambience very relaxed. I like their charcuterie board and the wines are great. A true keeper.

Yelp
This place was so calm and peaceful for Mother's Day. I used a Groupon for a flight of wine with my mom and got two wine souvenir glasses. It was a gorgeous place with a great view and very kind staff. We had the sweet flight of wine and it was all good. cheers!
