Churrascaria Barranco

This is the best place if you want to eat real meat in Porto Alegre. They have the best food for a decent price. Be aware that the portions are huge! I absolutely recommend it .

Steak was tasty, but still miss that the Brazilians trim too much fat from their beef. Fast is where the flavor is!

I had the best steak I've ever tasted in my world of travels. I kid you not. If you are in the area try their steak. No sauce to camouflage the authentic taste of a real good steak. Can't wait to go there again. The staff was amazing. Salad was fresh. I would definitely recommend this steak house to anyone who likes to ves meat.

traditional meat place in porto alegre. well located. tasty food. gives the option to have a salad buffet that the waiter brings to table with that the client can choose a meat plate served graciously. A little expensive but worth it.

Not the best churrascaria I've been to. Picanha was a bit dry, but wasn't bad. The papaya cream with cassis was very good. They let me put as much cassis as I wanted. The Ambrosia was good too. I suggest, if you like medium steak, to get it medium rare, so they don't dry it too much.

A classic in Porto Alegre. It's always great to dine among trees even when you are no more than 2 miles from the downtown area. There are a few gems in their menu: the "xixo a Barranco" is a must. Also their "picanha" is always a good bet. They could do with a better selection of beers, though.

Barranco is probably the most traditional steakhouse in Porto Alegre. Prime cuts, good salads and side dishes. Experienced staff, used to help tourists. Large place, with a huge open area. Try the Angus entrecot (rib eye) or the famous "xixo", a king-size version of kabobs, sides with fried polenta or potato salad.
