Where To Eat In Roma, Mexico City 2024

"There’s always a line at Churreria El Moro, whether you show up first thing in the morning, around lunchtime, or right after dinner. And for good reason—this local chain (with 12 locations around the city) makes some of the best churros in existence. You can get a four-pack fresh out of the fryer and covered in cinnamon sugar with a side of hot chocolate dip for around $5. If you need to cool down after walking around all day, take yourself and a consuelo—El Moro’s churro ice cream sandwich—to nearby Plaza Rio de Janeiro for some shade." - guillaume guevara

One of the most popular places in CDMX! Churros and hot chocolate is this cold weather is just what you need. We plan to visit this cafe every single day. Try their thick hot chocolate with churros 😍 it’s truly love in a cup.

I had to have a churro feast 1st night in Mexico City and we did! Great family place with great churros with 3 dips. Fast service once we figured out the line was for take out. Just sit at a table and someone will come and take your order. Plenty of families enjoying dessert. Price was perfect for what we ordered! Can’t wait to return. Thanks Felipe!!!

Worth the wait!!! Came here 4 times in 2 weeks. Didn’t like the seasonal flavour but respect for attempting to innovate! Tried the Spanish, French, and agua de chocolate and the agua was our favourite

Cozy neighborhood spot for delicious churros. Loved the hot chocolate options (de agua was my personal favorite). Service was prompt and helpful.

You cannot come to Ciudad de Mx without having the churros and a cup of coffee. They have several establishments across the city. We came here for a late snack after dinner. No regrets! Not only are these the best tasting churros that I’ve ever had, they are also the longest churros I’ve ever had! It has the perfect crunch on the outside while still soft on the inside. With each bite, you get the perfect balance of sugar and cinnamon. They always have a high volume of customers. So be patient, and wait. You have to stand in line for a while, place your order. Seating is limited.

Mexican Frio was nicer than the Spanish caliente to me as the Spanish version was super thick and cloying. The churros (cinnamon and sugar) were lovely and nicely fried.

Good, but I wouldn’t wait in line for any churro. Nothing mind blowing. Friendly service.
