Churriño Gourmet Dessert

Who doesn’t love a delicious churro with tons of toppings. Located in Long Beach, I would say this plaza is very empty and not much going on. When I arrived I thought it was pretty much an abandoned plaza other then the traffic from the local gym but anywho… it has tons of parking available which is always a plus. This place was so cute and very modern. They had great little photo sections and everything was cleaned/organized. The churros were made fresh to order and and they had a great selection on filling / toppings. I placed two orders and they both came in cute packaging. I feel like you can’t go wrong with churros rolled in cinnamon. My favorite was the chocolate filling, it was so thick and flavorful. My least favorite was the Jam filling, kinda tasted like watery jam that you put on a sandwich. All the toppings were fresh and again had a good selection. The service was ok. First, I’ll start with as i walked in and looked around it seemed like the employee had a friend there hanging around and then all of a sudden it seemed as they didn’t know each other… from my perspective it looked like she was giving her FREE Churriños (but that’s none of my business) LoL Second, The employee had some big purple marks on her neck that were just catching my eyes and they weren’t bruises, if you know what I mean. LoL (but that’s none of my business) Third, The only employee there was not very friendly or welcoming, she just stood around on her phone waiting for me to place an order. She never really welcomed me, nor explained how the menu works, I noticed there was a loyalty program but she never cared to mention it or explain how that works. This was my 1st time visiting this location and I won’t say it will be my last because the churros were good LoL but with the service I definitely won’t be going out of my way to come back anytime soon. :)

Good concept, but service was lacking. The small churros are fun for a quick snack and good for sharing. A decent place to visit in the Long Beach area nonetheless. They have Red Velvet S'mores Churros right now, but you can't really customize it. It comes with chocatella filling, which is pretty much like Nutella, mini marshmallows, and graham crackers. A bit of a sugar rush, but yummy. We also got the Big Bang which had strawberry filling that cut through the sweetness with some tartness. Preferred this more because of it. Not the best churros I have ever had, but playful and picture ready. Overall, fun concept and fills your need for some sugar!

It was soooo good! The flavors blended together beautifully and blew me away. I can't wait to come back. The staff was friendly and helped me pick my order since it was my first time. My order was ready within 5 minutes. I can't wait to come back.

Came here before the pandemic and it was great. I came today Oct 7, 2022 and it was not a great experience. They had one worker, he got my order wrong, no big deal, I figured he’s alone. But the wait time was a bit too much. Second part these churros were not fully cooked, they tasted like tamale masa in the inside. I’m sticking to the food trucks for churros now.

Delicious freshly made churros that can be customized to any toppings/fillings that are available. Super nice presentation. The only downfall is they are on the more expensive side, but they are worth trying at least once or if you want to splurge a bit on dessert.

One of my favorite lil snack places in downtown. Ya know sometimes you want something warm and sweet? This is a great place to check out. I prefer the caramel filling. The chocolate and strawberry fillings are good too tho. I’ve been craving soft serve for months and while not technically soft serve, their gelato hit the spot. The red velvet has a great chocolate taste, and they have a blue vanilla that tastes great and looks fun!
